An easy web aggregator for tutorials.

Really great resource and a good design too. I like the multiple column layout and the colors in this design. It’s clean clear and succinct and I don’t have to really hunt around to find content. Brevity is also something that makes this design really work.

This is a great looking design agency site. It has tons of great interactions and everything just feels sized and spaced out precisely right. I love the colors and love that big image in the center of the home page. Each page also changes up just enough and contains really well thought out content. The blog is also very nicely done.

I like the details in this site, it has some good textures and the navigation buttons across the top are well done. I like the picture/illustration of the designer on the right side with the thought bubble pointing you to his blog. This site is pretty well done from top to bottom, each page also gives you something just a little different, just enough to keep you engaged with it from page to page.

Good looking long scrolling site full of large screen shots of work. I really like the years across the bottom, that’s a really smart way to display both your work and progression of you professionally at the same time.

A design with a strong focus on typography and graphic design elements.

I really like the heavy typography on this site. The layout is quite different from things i’ve seen yet it’s really familiar feeling to use, that’s always the tough thing with doing something new(ish) you tend to change the way people expect to interact with a site and this one really doesn’t do that. However it presents something fresh at the same time. Good job.

This is the newly redesigned w3c.org website (not too new, but newish). I really like this design in many ways, at the same time it’s just too dang full of info. I know that’s hard NOT to do, it’s the wc3 after all. I love the grid, and the way the info is presented in a logical manner. I also think the different style sheet selection across the top is pretty cool too. I think in many ways they stretched with a lot of the interactions, I think more simplicity would go a long way on a site like this. The information still feels pretty spread out and people who are new to the wc3 look like they still might get a bit lost in the content. Over all though, this is a great face lift to a really huge site that’s been needed for a long long time.

Really nice typography and simple interactions in this design. I love the colors and the layout. It’s easy to take in somehow and yet complex looking at the same time. I also really love the main navigation design.

I love the illustration work of this site, it’s just fantastic. I also love the little interactions worked into the home page, when you click the arrow/tabs the tree changes to fit the subject matter - that’s really clever. The overall feel and completeness of this design is also top-notch as well which really helps to propel it into one of the top designs i’ve seen in a while. Great looking site here.

I really like the openness of this design, the way the text and columns are laid out in relation to the big main image. I also like how the drop-down navigation is worked into the top two main nav/badge elements. It’s just really clean and clear.

Website for a Realtor looking for an Americana feel. The design features George Peters wonderful engraving style illustrations. Sadly, the client closed their business just as the site was finishing up.

Interesting submission, I think this is the first site that was completed and submitted that didn’t have a real client use behind it. At any rate it’s really a beautifully done website. I love the long scroll down the home page, the rhythm there is very nice. Overall wonderful illustrations and color choices, subtle design but it has a really great impact when you first load it up in your browser.
