Merry Christmas, Everyone!

What a year it’s been…some good, some bad, but overall mostly good.

Although updates have been very sporadic, we’re still doing what we can…so please keep checking back every now and then :)

As a side note, this is actually Young Ninja Panda and Young Samurai Panda.  (It is a little hard to tell with their proportions, right? But it’s true, these are our heroes when they were Panda Cubs.)

We hope you are enjoying a fantastic holiday, and we hope to bring you more great comics in 2010.

Currently my Aunt Tina is in the hospital, fighting for her life. Although I can’t be there next to her as much as I would like, I still want to do what I can to show my support.

Auntie Tina, I hope you get better soon. My spirits are with you.

Still got my hands a bit full with gigs right now ^_^;  Here’s some concept art to tide you over until the story resumes…

This is kind of how my art has been evolving as of late.  For some reason, sketching out the outlines in pencil has not been very appealing to me these days.  I’m trying to go directly to the paint stage, and work with the forms that way.  It’s very similar to the approach a traditional painter might take, when painting on canvas.

We’ve been busy with a few changes in both of our lives, and have had to temporarily shift some priorities around.

This is just a quick note to let you all know that we’re still dedicated to this project, it just can’t continue on the same schedule as it has in the past few months.

Please stay tuned for future announcements regarding the direction of this comic, as well as exactly what has been going on as of late :)
