Some thoughts:
- if we all start from fear, does finding a way past this represent an “evolution” of our species to something “better”? Can we even use statements of value like “better” when speaking of evolution? Is a progression from a state of fear to a state of trust in the value of each other’s lives indicative of a random mutation of our human evolution both biologically and socially (and therefore technically a mutation that is “valueless” or at least only a socially constructive value), or is it indicative of a spiritual transformation in which humans begin to trust in a vision of life given to humanity by their creator?
