WITNESS STATMENT: as follows :-
I looked out of my backdoor & notised the moon was nice & clear , so i got my camera & just took a few shots , but it was too bright to capture any detail of the moon. once i had downloaded the pics onto my pc i then zoomed in & theres two “object”/ufo!/cratf or poss satelites im not sure , theres 1 just left of the moon & 1 further right near the edge of the shot. i spoke to a mate & she told me it was the same night as MARS was meant to be visable but i didnt see much unless thats what is below the moon which i thought was just glare. if anyone knows what it / they are then please mail me . one other thing is that within 1 minute of taken 2 shots these objects had vanished. the moon was to the east of herne bay . regards Paul..

Witness Statement: There was this circular shaped thing in the sky, flashing different colours and moving at different speeds. Reminded me of a plancton. It was at least double the size of a star and since i look out of my window every night this is something i have never seen before.
One point the thing flashed a bright white light. I have googled and googled but nothing is similar!
I have encountered odd lights before but this is something else.

Witness Statement: My husband called me this morning from his work in Grimsby. He told me him and his co-worker were outside having a cigerette before work this am and witnessed a black aircraft over the lake. The object then split into two crafts and both sped off into two different directions!

Witness Statement: I was looking out the window out towards the A329 when i noticed two bright orange lights as low and as big as helecopters. There was no sound and no flashing lights.They were flying in formation coming from wokingham direction and come over jennetts park. A week later i was driving through wokingham town coming from A329 with my son and he see one of the objects i stoped ,looked up and it was the same ufo i had seen a week before . It flew overhead with no sound and was quiet large. It was flying in the same direction as the ones i see before.

Witness Statement: whilst standing outside in the back yard we both looked up to try and make some sense of what appered to be 2 fire balls travelling through the night sky in complete silence, it was spooky, i ran in to check the local news but couldnt find any details mentioning the sighting, in the meantime my partner had witnessed a third ball of flames go past. they appeared very equal in distance between each other and to be travelling an identical silent course. these were NOT lanterns…meteors?

Witness Statement: Having a ciggie in tmy south facing back garden, when I looked up to my left, and there was a large bright orange ball moving form left to right. It was below the cloud level and shimmered in the sky, it was there for a several mins, at one stage it hovered still before moving towards the south. As I was shouting to my partner to come and see it my neighbour was coming in from walking his dog, shouting on his wife to witness it, he had saw it for a while below the clouds and wanted to get home to ensure someone else could see it, all 4 of us witnessed it in the sky. It glowed brighter orange before heading upwards into the clouds and out of sight, It was not a plane or copter. !!!!

Witness Statement: Saw about 19 shining lights flying fast and silent, in formation like this :

* * *
* * * * * * * *

Yellowy orange ( more yellowy )

Maybe 1 or 2 miles high

Not quite directly overhead, from my right to left, no flickering, almost due East from West

Brightness – at least twice as bright as the brightest star

Size – about 3 to 4 times bigger than a star

The first 4 disappeared in orderly fashion, i.e., each in turn dimmed gradually over a 3 to 4 second period. I definitely got the impression this was compatible with a sudden change of direction perpendicular to the Earth.

If this impression is true, the acceleration must have been stupendous

Each disappeared in the same part of the sky

Seconds after these 4 had gone, another pair, a single, 2 pairs, and so on ; the maximum I saw was 5 at any given time

The whole show lasted 7 minutes, I guess each light was visible to me for 2 or 3 minutes

The formation completed just under 1/2 the possible arc had they not disappeared

Witness Statement: We were in the car driving through the town centre and I spotted what looked like a ball of orange fire in the sky, travelling at great speed in one direction. I then said wow look at that – what is it and both me and my daughter tracked where the UFO was heading, I tried to work out if it was an aeroplane with it’s lights at a strange angle, but I can only describe it as what looked like a ball of fire perhaps a meteor. It then changed direction very suddenly and then changed direction a second time. We were able to track it for about 5 minutes and then it went behind the clouds

Witness Statement: I was walking my dog and heard some teenagers shout ufo, I looked up and saw a bright orange light travelling the speed of an helicopter, which I though it was the police helicopter, but i have seen this many times with its searchlight on, and this light was a different light, also it had no sound, i managed to take a photo on my mobile, went to take another and it had dissappeared, it was a clear night on friday and what clouds there was were high, this was flying well below the clouds, i have no idea what it could’ve been but i know it was definatly not a chinese lantern!

Witness Statement: I noticed a bright orange light through my window.At first I thought it was a reflection of a street lamp on the window itself but when I looked I could see that it was in the sky in roughly the direction of Tesco (I live in the centre of town) I watched it for as far as I could and did video it with my mobile phone( I won`t put it on Youtube and provide a link cos`,quite frankly the quality is really poor and it is just an orange dot on the screen1 lol). The weird thing is that about ten seconds before it went out of view (obscured by buildings) the light went out and I could clearly see with the naked eye that it was a dark object.I typed in “flying saucer over Ystrad Mynach” into Google and was given a sighting of a “bright orange light” over nearby Maesycwmmer on Christmas day.The lady who posted it said it was a Chinese lantern but the one I saw was pretty high when the light went out and I`m thinking it must have been a pretty big lantern for me to be able to clearly make out a dark object with the naked eye.Did anyone else see this object?
