In April 1976 my husband and I were staying in temporary accommodation at Rockley Sands Dorset. It was dark, I was coming out of the shower room, just across from our caravan. Above the caravan there were 5 huge incredibly bright lights hovering. Two at the top and three underneath. There was no sounds or down draft. My husband and I both saw them. They stayed for about 2 minutes them simply turned off. There was a slight mist. We checked with local RAF establishment but they didn’t help. I have no doubt it was a UFO. I seldom mention it for fear of being ridiculed

Saw from my bedroom window yellow balls of light above the tree line travelling east to west . Went down stairs to get a drink didn’t put the light on, as I stood at the sink I saw a bright yellow ball about the size of a football travelling fast through the houses to my left. It turned in front of my neighbours house and as if it knew I was there came straight towards my window I wondered if it might hit the window but it stopped just about 1 metre away for a few seconds, then changed direction back up the garden and disappeared.

There was a perticularly clear sky so stars were as visible as they ever are, me and a friend were walking my dog above the valley, higher than all the street lights which made us notice how bright and impressive the stars were. We very quickly both noticed a spaced out string of bright lights spaced out in a bowed line from horizon to horizon. Every 20 to 30 seconds another light of the same size, similar to a star but noticeably different, following the trajectory of the string of lights. The thing that stood out instantly as something that to us, was unexplainable was how the light was following the “line” perfectly, until it came close to the next “light” in the string across the sky, as it got close it dipped, almost instantly as if to avoid the light, just the same as if youre walking toward someone and you avert your path to avoid bumping into them, it then slipped straight back into place and followed the path it was initially on. We both looked at each other completely perplexed. If thats not strange enough, it didn’t happen just once, it did the same thing to pass every single visible light. There were approximately 8-15 we could see from hill to hill, with limited vision as we weren’t yet at the top of the valley. It didn’t just happen once, when one light passed the last visible one, we kept our eye on what we found to be the most clear “light” and sure enough another one would come, moving at a way faster pace than an aeroplane light. We watched for around 10 minutes almost completely silent, only talking to discuss what it might be, shooting stars don’t change trajectory, we also questioned if it could be the starlink satellites we had heard orbit in a line, but again we’re not geniuses but didn’t think satellites could change trajectory in such a way. I’d guess approximately 10 of these said lights followed the path over the time we watched, maybe more, each one dipping round the static light in exactly the same way. I’m not a ufo guy, I have never seen anything before, but I can remember this in my mind maybe more vividly than any other memory. I’ve never ever heard or seen of anything like it. It’s hard to explain the path and quick movement through words, I’m not the most articulate person. But Im positive this is an anomaly as far as things I know to be natural events to see in the night sky.

Out walking with a friend on the marshes next to the non navigable section of the River Lea on a clear sunny day (apart from a single cloud and a visible moon), facing roughly east towards the Leyton area when a something catches my eye against the blue.
A small object at what looked to be at great altitude was travelling in a tight circle, and then joined by another following its trajectory. As the objects completed their circle and began to travel away they seemed to completely dematerialise from sight one after the other. They would then reappear, slightly further over.
They repeated this pattern of slowly circling, vanishing then reappearing about four or five times before vanishing from sight entirely, leaving absolutely no trace.

Was enjoying a beer in garden and talking to a housemate when noticed a smallt shimmering light towards x in hand. It caught my eye and distracted me a couple of times. About 4th time i looked up the light was much bigger and brighter and kinda flickered like a candle flame in a gentle breeze. I keep looking at it and realised it was heading directly towards us.Initially i thought plane then helicopter. As it came closer i noticed no noise. I pointed it out to housemate.”what do you reckon that is then?”.
“Eh?..wtf is that?”
“Dunno but its actually quite low and not moving very fast.. Cant hear any engine or rotor noise..”
As it cruised silently right toward us at about2 to 3 times the height of the trees, i could see a bright illuminted cockpit like on an old Dakota type aircraft. As it came over and past i could still see a cockpit realised it was 360°. I could see a dark bodywork ( never thought I’d say this!) and reslised i was literally looking at a flying saucer. I’d estimate 4 to 6 meter diameter for main body and cockpit 2 to 3meter dia. Approx3 to 4 meter overall height.
So.. I definitely saw a saucershaped ufo. Dont know if it was alien or human made. Asked house mate ( who agreed that it was bizarre and looked like a flying saucer)to film it on her phone… She said ok hang on…She was too busy gassing and flirting with a match on some dating site lol.gutted no evidence.

I was at my Mums bungalow, cutting the grass and I could hear the squeak of birds of pray, I looked up and saw 2 buzzards circling around 500ft high and 800ft north. I thought nothing of it and continued cutting grass, after a couple of minutes I stopped to empty the lawn mower. I looked up to see if the birds of prey was still there, they were. I then notice further in the distance maybe 3 miles north and 2 miles high (perfectly clear sunny day). A massive silver sausage shaped object, size in length at that distance was about 600ft long, I then said to mum, who was weeding “Look, now that’s what you call a UFO”, she looked up and just stared for a few seconds and said “Yes”. Nothing else we could say. It then at the end of the sausage shape started to go black then a cloud seemed to appear and it simply slowly disappear into it as we was watching. No sound, no windows or anything just silver smooth surface. I will go on a lie detector in front of anyone to prove what I have described is 100% true. It was incredible, that’s all I can say.

Woke up suddenly (i have a skylight above my bed, with no blind as I like natural light in the moring and enjoy loking at stars at night) and saw a bright light pass very quickly across skylight field of view. I thought it was ISS but v fast and v bright. It disappeared from view but almost imemdiately followed by another light following same path. I stood up on my bed to get a clear view. It disappeared and then they both came back from direction they had gone, heading across and upwards. The lights merged into one and became stationary. Then 3 bright but smaller lights appeared out of no where,at 8, 9 and 10 o-colock positions relative to the stationary light, moved towards it circled very tightly around it about 3 times. Their circular path was precise. Then they moved away back in direction they originated and spaced out abit and then became stationary – I watched for about another few mins but nothing moved. I went to get my phone to check time and text a friend about sighting and they were still there, not moving. I stopped watching after about 5 more minutes as I was really unnerved by the whole thing.

Bright white light low in the sky above the field slowly moving forward towards me. Zero noise. No other lights or traffic were moving along the lane that I was stood in.
The light suddenly disappeared despite very little cloud coverage, and so I moved further down the road to try and catch up with it. It revealed itself again for a few minutes then disappeared again.
I was returning home during this time and it was quite dark. When I looked again the light became vertical heading upwards above the same field. I kept checking to see if I could see it away from the field as I was now stood on the main road leading away from Hillbutts lane where the field is out of view. Still there was no sound, and I didn’t see it again that night.
There were no car lights incoming from the main road as there were hardly any cars on the road at all that evening. Also, this light was moving very slowly for longer minutes just before it disappeared the first time. It was too low and bright to have been a cloud and the sky was quite clear. The light was silent, and so not likely to have be an aircraft. And as far as I am aware balloons don’t turn vertical at an angle.
I have to say this is the first time I’ve had to really question what I saw. yes, I am into all things paranormal but have not exaggerated this story in any way. Thank you for setting up the site as there seems to be more sightings here.

Stepped for a quick drag before bed. Was a totally clear but cold 3 degree night. Do this every night before bed. To the south, towards East Midlands Airport was a streak across the sky. Now, seen this many times as shooting stars but this time, it stopped about 2-3 Miles away over the edge of Chellaston, hung for 4-5 seconds then shot upwards at unreal speed to just vanish. Nope, I don’t drink but thinking about starting now. Hope EMA have so thing in radar. Domestic flights are quite but DHL are still flying. Okay, description….what looked like a bright silver disc with maybe 20-30m trail just stopped and was obviously a global object. Just hung for a few seconds then vanished into the sky but without a trail as before !! Anyone else see this wired sight ?

I lived in Danehurst Road, where the garden backed on to the golf course. It was 10 p.m. I went into the kitchen to make tea, and noticed bright stationary lights just over the garden wall. I couldn’t work out what it was. It was approximately 20 feet from the ground. I went outside and stood beside the wall looking up at a spherical shape with approximately 10 circular lights beaming downwards. I watched in awe for about two minutes. There was no sound at all. It was a very clear night (possibly late summer), and the lights on the craft flickered and it then flew upwards and headed along the coast towards New Brighton at an incredible speed, in total silence. I didn’t mention this to anyone at the time but I feel sure some else must have seen this.

I let my dog out on the back yard which faces west. It was a clear night with just a few clouds on the western horizon. No wind, just clear, dark with the stars out. I just happened to glimpse up and a single light caught my eye, I thought it was a satellite at first, but immediately after seeing the first light 2 more followed, for a brief moment I thought “starlink satellites”, but then I immediately realised that they were in a perfect triangle formation, slightly dimmer than the surrounding stars, 3 lights in a triangle moving silently northwest in direction. The space in between the 3 stars was darker than the night sky just somewhat slightly. I spend a lot of time looking at the night sky and I am familiar with various sightings, this was the oddest thing that I have ever seen, I saw it clearly and my view was unobstructed, it was quite large flying rather fast, almost like it was gliding, silently, in a swift straight line.

Black orb about the size of a large grapefruit. I was looking at the sky from my landing window whilst vaping before bed. Something flashed past the window, a couple of seconds later a black orb shot past the window within 8ft approximately 50mph appeared to be pursuing then came back in the opposite direction a few seconds later. I was looking to the north when a light source caught my eye. I started watching this light and in the beginning it was moving west but changed it’s direction to to due south. As it got nearer I could see that it was a triangular shaped set of lights each side of the triangle was white bright light and in each of the Three corners there was an extremely bright flashing red and white light flashing alternately white then red. I could not make out anything other than the lights. As it went over me I would estimate it was about Three to Four hundred feet high at an angle of about 30 degrees. The light was visible to me for about a minute and I stood and watched it fly towards South. As it went over me it made a sound reminiscent of a jet engine but higher pitched.

I was standing out side the rear of our house having a cigarette and was looking up at the sky and looking at the stars as I normally do. Sometimes I notice satellites and watch them as they travel across the sky. Tonight I noticed a larger object, red in colour travelling very fast, at first I thought it might be a bird like a red kite and some light was reflecting back off it but it turned suddenly and travelled off very very fast and disappeared. At first I thought it may have disappeared behind a cloud but after looking hard I couldn’t see any high altitude clouds.

Watching a low flying plane coming over low because of the erratic flying, my eyes picked up on what appeared to be a square black object stationary above the clouds but in blue hazy sky; watching for 40 seconds it just vanished but I couldn’t tell whether it moved into space quickly or it just vanished, either way the size became smaller in a space of just under 2 seconds. I’m sorry I never had the chance to take a picture. I was on Osea Island conducting a site survey for a film. I so wish someone else saw it, and surely ATC would have picked it up on radar as it appeared to be of substantial size and very visible with the naked eye. I have never heard of a square looking UFO before. I did noticed it appeared to have space within the square allowing the back ground blue sky to be viewed through some of its structure. I am returning and you can bet I will be ready next time

Whilst in my backyard I noticed a bright yellow/orange light approaching from the west, the sun had set but sky was still bright with low broken cloud, thought first this was an aircraft with its ‘landing/take-off lights still on as I’ve seen these quite often and sometimes have seen them being switched off when passing over, as there is a busy air-corridor over us in ‘normal’ times, as it passed I did not see any wings or other navigation lights, as it moved further away it passed thro’ some thin clouds but did not continue its path but seemed to gain altitude and its brightness diminished, all this took about 1 minute so no time to photograph it, as I was still under the impression it was an aircraft, nor do I have a smart phone.
