The reason is that there are just so many good ones to choose from, I think.

In this case, though, these people have put themselves on the spot and put one in the top slot – take a read and see whether or not you agree.

Ok they couldn’t use just one.

Blazing Saddles

The Producers

Robin Hood: Men in Tights

Basically, any Mel Brooks movie will have me laughing til I cry. He’s going to be sorely missed when he passes away.

All the way to 11.

Scrolled forever but couldn’t find “This is Spinal Tap.” That one goes to 11 every time.

Funny forever.

Tommy Boy. The duo of Farley and Spade is phenomenal

Laughs for days.

I watched “Best in Show” for the first time 2 weeks ago. I was on a flight back home and could not stop laughing.

Good stuff.

Not before or since.

I don’t think I’ve ever gone to a theater and laughed at anything harder than Super Troopers.

Insanely quotable.

Airplane! – One of the greatest spoof movies of all time.

Airplane? What is it?

It’s a large metal tube that flies through the air, but that’s not important right now.

I had to quit quoting Airplane! at work because I have a lot of younger coworkers and nobody recognized “I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue” as a movie reference. I… may have given some people the wrong impression.

The king of the cast.

Clue (1985).

Tim Curry is a king in a flawless cast

Great cast, set/costumes, physical humor, and rapidfire jokes/wordplay. Perfect film.

Timeless as well.

My Cousin Vinny. It’s smart, it’s hilarious, and it’s got some superb acting in it.

It really is surprisingly timeless as well. I watch it every few years, and it is still a 10/10

Turn the commentary on.

Tropic Thunder

Ever watch it with commentary on? RDJ doesn’t drop character until the end of the commentary track on the movie. He even changes to the Aussie actor when his character does in the film.

Magically a teenager.

Edgar Wright movies like Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the dead.

If I were magically a teenager again when I first saw the movie, I’d have been inspired to become a police officer like Angel.

Also, for a comedy, it has the single most badass line for a cop I’ve seen in a film: “I may not be a man of God, Reverend, but I know right – and I know wrong… and I have the good grace to know which is which.”

This film also made it so I can’t take one thing in ‘Harry Potter’ seriously anymore. Anytime I see a HP work or read fanfic & I hear or see ‘…’Greater Good’, I ALWAYS go “The ‘Greater Good’…” “SHUT IT!”

Flawless.

Young Frankenstein.

Brilliant writing.

Trading Places. Absolutely brilliant writing.

Runner up: The Jerk

A little too real.

Idiocracy

I couldn’t breathe when I first saw this movie. I was laughing so much. It was so ridiculous, but in a good way.

More relevant.

Office space. It gets better as I age and it gets more relevant.

Ever since I started working, every day has been worst than the one before it. So that means that every day that you see me, is on the worst day of my life.

Cackle and hoot.

What About Bob?

This movie literally makes me cackle and hoot every time I watch it. It’s my go-to movie when I need to lighten up and laugh my arse off.

Pure gold.

The Emperor’s New Groove

The voice acting is incredibly hilarious but the animation itself is truly some of the funniest I’ve ever seen. Every llama face and Yzma+Kronk moment is pure gold…

Spade, Warburton and Kitt are the only ones who could’ve possibly done any justice to it. Stellar cast.

It never gets old.

I have to go with Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I have watched it so many times, and it never gets old.

Watching Jason Segel perform the Dracula puppet musical for the first time absolutely destroyed me.

“Die… Die… Die…………. I can’t.”

Tears.

All of the times.

I don’t care how many times I watch it, I will always die laughing at Superbad

It holds a special place in my heart because of the liquor store scene. I have never seen my Dad laugh like that.

“So we have an African Jew”

I’m going to need to re-watch or watch a few of these.

My favorites are definitely here, though!

Well, it seems like a Panera Bread customer might have answered that question for all of us…

A woman named Sarah shared a video on TikTok where she called out Panera’s Charged Lemonade drinks that contain over 100 grams of sugar and 390 milligrams of caffeine…FYI, that’s more sugar and caffeine per fluid ounce than a Monster Energy drink.

In her video, Sarah talks about how she didn’t realize how harmful the Charged Lemonade drinks were until her husband, who is a Type 1 diabetic, told her about what’s actually in the drink.

Sarah said she drank four or five of them while working at a Panera store because refills were free and it wasn’t a very pleasant experience.

Check out how folks reacted to this video…

One viewer said,

“Giiiiiirl that is SO MUCH SUGAR and I RARELY say that.”

Another person added,

“These drinks gave me heart attack symptoms and I thought it was over.”

And a Panera employee commented,

“I work there and warn so many mothers when their 7 year old will fill up a 30 ounce cup. The caffeine sign needs to be way bigger.”

Another TikTokker said,

“I couldn’t sleep one night and my heart was racing. The only new thing I had were these drinks so I looked up the nutritional facts and about d**d.”

Do yourself a favor and go easy on these kinds of drinks, okay?

You can thank us later…

And here’s how folks responded after seeing the video on TikTok.

One person said,

“That response also low-key highlighted your sales skills . Like you said, exactly how you’d talk to a prospect before a demo!”

Another viewer added,

“As a recruiter, I love that. It implies you’re actually engaged, and not robotic. I would much rather it be an open convo. Good idea!”

And one TikTokker commented,

“Talking through every job is boring as a hiring manager. I want to hear about what people are excited about for the role. Great approach.”

Keep this in mind next time you’re on the job hunt!

Before Starlink, these operations were harder to accomplish. The systems were clunky, they needed specialized people to work them, and not everyone could be on site all of the time.

Now, though, Starlink makes most of that super streamlined, according to Hugo Loss, a Brazilian operations coordinator.

“Starlink is extremely fast and really improves the ability to manage an illegal mine. You can manage hundreds of mining sites without ever setting foot in one.”

It’s not exactly Musk’s fault that crime rings snatched up his technology for their own gains, but he might have given them the idea by advertising Starlink as a helpful aid for those looking to protect endangered remote areas like the Amazon.

If you’re up for a conspiracy theory, here’s one: even though Starlink is available in the remote Amazon, people in Ukraine have had trouble getting it to work.

Some of the we think we’ll use every day and others we actually do use every day, but either way, wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get even more bang for our buck?

These folks say you’ve definitely got a few things hanging out that you should be using in more ways than one – and here’s what and how!

The sticky stuff.

Any kind of cooking oil will easily get pine sap off of your hands. Just use it like soap.

It’s cheap, too.

Use salt as an abrasive and absorber when cleaning. I spray my stove top with a general household cleaner then sprinkle salt liberally over the top. It gets grease out easily.

For liquid stains like wine, I pour salt over the stain to soak up excess liquid then come through with hydrogen peroxide. Finally I get absorbent towels and dab clean it.

If you’ve got kids, you know.

Any cooking oil is a great way to remove the residue from stickers.

Idk if this is recommended but if you get scratches on wood furniture I’ve always taken a matching washable marker, colored over the scratch, and then wiped it with a damp cloth (to effectively stain the wood back to match).

Dish soap is so handy.

Scuba diver here. Instead of using those expensive defogger gels and sprays on your mask, smear a bunch of dish soap in it, rinse once or twice, and your mask will never fog during the dive.

You can also use this method to keep your windshield from fogging. Smear a bunch of dish soap on a towel, then rub it all over the inside of your windshield. Take another damp towel and rub the soap off until your wind shield is clear. I did this 3 weeks ago and have not had to defog a single time since.

For all of those hardwood scuffs.

Rub a walnut nut on wood scratches.

Also just go buy a small bottle of goo-gone. It is that oil, but smells great and does a better job than cooking oil. Its like a buck for a couple ounces, and that bottle has lasted me years.

edit: used “walnut nut” To differentiate it from using a whole walnut… So someone isn’t rubbing a dry walnut shell on their wood

Nobody likes it.

Bleach to keep away cockroaches. I used to get big ass cockroaches in the summer that came up my drain.

My exterminator told me to pour 1 cup of bleach down my drain each week. You have to pour it down the drain in the room you see them. I started 18 months ago and haven’t seen a cockroach since.

An amazing tale.

Corn starch is a good blood coagulant if you need to stop bleeding.

I saved my pet Tarantula with corn starch like this before. Her abdomen split after falling on tile, and the cornstarch stopped her from bleeding out. Several months later and she’s doing great after that almost fatal fall.

Bang for your buck.

Clear nail polish:

Prevent skin going green from brass

Permanently stop fabric from fraying

Same goes with yarn

Seal paint

The $2 quick dry stuff is the best for me.

Coffee is life.

If you have a French press for coffee, you can also froth milk in it after. Pour in hot milk and raise and lower the plunger until the volume of the milk has about doubled.

Not my channel, but plugging for James Hoffman. If you like coffee, and want to explore the utter depths of the world of coffee, coffee gear, coffee science in a super chill and informative way, check him out!

Everyone hates that smell.

add salt to your hand wash to get gasoline smell off

Love,

Dad

Double your money.

Vagisil for chafing. It’s antibacterial, lubricating, and an anesthetic. I learned that in the army.

also gives you an extra 2-3 inches drop on your curveball

Extra bonus points.

Shaving foam reduces\stops misting on bathroom mirrors and car windows.

You can also use it to write creepy text like “I died here” or “I’m watching you” on mirrors of other people’s bathrooms.

When done right it will be pretty much invisible normally but the text will show up when someone is taking a bath/shower and the mirror fogs up.

Go ahead and donate them.

Clean mascara wands are used in animal shelters to soothe the animals by brushing, and to remove fly eggs and larva from fur.

there are bird rescues that will take them. They just don’t want you buying clean ones because that will just contribute to plastic production and they’re hoping to just keep used ones from the landfill.

You’re welcome.

Toilet seat covers are the same as blotting paper for oily skin.

Perm papers are made of this same material and come in packs of 1000 for under $5. They’re cut to the same size as typical blotting sheets. I discovered this when I worked at a salon.

I’m blown away by some of these!

And yes, I’m for sure going to give them a try.

And one thing that always seems to come up is your biggest weakness.

I think they want to know that you’re able to self-reflect, and maybe also that you can see ways to improve, but either way, it can be a chore to come up with exactly the right answer.

Don’t worry anymore, though, because these people have some great suggestions for how to answer it next time.

Hard to spin.

They have been for engineering interviews and it’s well known that you work on 1/10 of a project, so I thought it was fitting and then leads into discussing what roles exactly that I was applying for.

My biggest weakness is actually organization, but I dont like spinning that one because I seriously doubt I’ll improve in that category more than I have so far.

Tongue in cheek.

“What is your greatest weakness?” “Ummmm probably that I have no strengths”

I’m not sure that’s a weakness.

“im bad at interviews. I guess I don’t do them very often. I have typically stayed at previous jobs for a long time”

Come with a solution.

When I was graduating college I got interview tips from my dad who was heavily involved in the hiring process at his company for his department. His advice on this one, which I’ve used ever since and has gone great, was:

The whole “say a weakness that’s actually a positive” has been done to death and is such common knowledge that it’s no longer a clever “trick” and is now seen as avoiding the question. People want to see some self awareness, obviously don’t bring something absolutely terrible up, but mention a real flaw and most importantly what you’ve done to address or work with it.

For example the one I tend to use is that I can be forgetful so I now keep multiple sets of calendars, reminders, notes, etc to cover as much as possible.

Make sure it’s an actual weakness.

Actual weakness: Taking on jobs by myself, not taking time to train other people to do them. In the end, I’m usually “the guy” and find myself feeling burnt out.

Probably could be worded better at an interview, but this could sound like you’re a “go-getter”. It might also encourage your employer to find opportunities for you to train other people to do things you particularly don’t like doing.

Show you’ve already worked on it, too.

I did the same thing when I got my current job. I told them I have ADHD, but it’s not too much of an issue, as it has forced me to become incredibly organised and keep notes and check lists and calendar reminders, so I rarely forget stuff, and I’m more organised than most.

The only problem is that I sometimes worry about whether I’ve forgotten something anyway, and need to double-check things.

A popular answer.

I work in healthcare and always say “Not speaking Spanish” and odds are the interviewer is also not fluent in Spanish so it comes across as not really a weakness. WIN WIN

Don’t be a lifeless robot.

Well it depends how you measure good and bad. For low level positions they’re not looking to build a profile on you based on your literal answer, they’re looking more for how you answer. Are you giving a lifeless robotic answer or are you giving a relatable human answer? Are you comfortable discussing things like this or does it make you panicky? Are you giving something canned or introspective?

And then for higher level positions you should have enough experience to actually know your weaknesses and this would get more field specific and relative. And at this point all the gimmicky answers would be a no go.

So essentially there’s more being evaluated during interviews than the literal answers given. Hope this helps a little? But yeah I hate the question too

Actually.

Weak against fire and sharp objects

We’d make pretty bad Pokémon: Weak to fire, water, electricity, grass, ice, rocks, the ground, steel, fighting, poison, flying (falling). If dragons, faries, ghosts and psychics existed we’d probably be weak to them too. Some people are even additionally weak to bugs and the dark.

There’s nothing that we’re actually good at

Show your willingness.

If you are changing industries, your biggest weakness is not knowing the industry… yet.

If you are younger, say inexperience.

Anything to show your willingness to learn and develop.

Tailor your answers.

Depends on the position, but I will sometimes say that I have trouble delegating when I know I can perform a task well.

I’d rather just do it myself and know that everything will be done correctly.

Be brave.

For my current job, I said that I had a hard time sharing my ideas with new groups.

No great answer.

I hate this interview question.

I interview candidates every few months. This is a totally useless question.

The field I interview for usually has passionate people, so instead I ask “of all the aspects of doing [job], which part of [the process] do you enjoy the most?” Nobody is nervous about this question. Gives me some insight into what they want to be working on, where they think they are strongest, and what would make them happy and productive vs bored.

Dedicated is good.

I said “I dont like letting go of unfinished projects” during my interviews.

I feel like it shows that I’m dedicated to the work I take on.

Frame it well.

Frame it in terms of something you’re looking to improve. “Well, at my last performance evaluation I received some constructive criticism regarding X, so since then I’ve been doing Y and Z to focus on improving in that regard.”

Honestly though, if an interviewer asks you that ridiculous cliched question either they have no idea what they’re doing and/or don’t give a shit, or they aren’t looking for an answer but just want to see how you respond to being pushed.

Be wary.

Be careful of humblebrags. Some of them are overused.

For example, I know some people say “I’m a workaholic” as a weakness. And you’d think that would make you sound very hardworking but it’s been heard a thousand times and is not unique or strong

These are some really great thoughts.

I think we’re all going to be better prepared the next time around!

When we were teenagers, we didn’t care what the grownups around us had to say, either, because they didn’t understand us or our lives thankyouverymuch.

On the other side of it, you realize that even though things in the world have changed quite a lot, the fact is that people have changed very little – which means there’s plenty of advice that still sticks.

So, if you’re willing to hear it, these pieces of advice could belong in your back pocket.

Learn new skills.

If you don’t have a passion, learn new skills. You might find your passion or something you’re good at.

It’s a whole sentence.

It’s ok to say no to anyone.

Don’t let anyone in your life guilt trip you into doing something you don’t want to do or are uncomfortable with

Just indifferent.

When you get to driving you need to realize that the laws of physics apply to you. They aren’t out to get you, they’re just indifferent.

Slow the f**k down and don’t horse around, you’re driving a very heavy machine at speeds we did not evolve to deal with. Be safe.

Exactly as lame.

It’s exactly as lame to not do something you want to do because it’s too mainstream or popular as it is to do something only because it’s cool and the cool kids are doing it.

Start the work now.

Don’t put off dealing with mental health issues. Developing unhealthy coping mechanisms for emotional issues will fuck you up big time down the road. If you have issues, deal with it head on, right away. It can take time, but start the work now.

Also, save for retirement. You should open a Roth IRA yesterday.

You won’t regret it.

Learn a second language. It’s good for your brain, and it’s a lot easier when you’re young.

Get active and fit; make it a habit. This is one of the most important ways to stave off cognitive decline as you get older. Plus, it’s great for managing mental health during the transition to adulthood.

Don’t stay silent.

If you are assaulted on campus, notify the police, not campus security.

To add to this: if you’re experiencing harassment, bullying, or anything that isn’t technically a matter for the police, don’t stop reporting it to the school until somebody actually listens to you. The first person you talk to at the school may blow you off.

Go to the next person up or another department. If they say there’s nothing they can do, get them to put it in writing. People are often much more inclined to help if their actions (or lack there of) are being recorded.

You’ll be thankful one day.

Start trying to save money now. You will definitely thank yourself later on.

Even if you don’t know yet what your saving for… Could be a down pmt on a car, could be for a computer, for a move to a new town for a better job, deposits on an apartment and utilities, car repairs, veterinary visits for a pet, a new bed/mattress. Life happens and if you have a savings, it makes it easier.

Don’t go along.

Learn to trust your gut when in strange situations. If something feels off / wrong, it probably is.

Don’t go along with something if it feels wrong.

Subject to change.

The measure of whether someone has the potential to be a new friend of yours is NOT whether they like a bunch of things you like. It is entirely possible to become friends with people who like a ton of things you’ve never heard of, or even already decided you dislike. You are at a spot in life where a lot of your likes and dislikes are subject to change anyway.

Biggest thing: making a new friend often takes time. Lots of time. Much longer than movies and shows make it look like. Find things to do, groups to join, city league sports to play (pandemic permitting, or after) and keep learning about the people you see repeatedly. Far too many early twenties people who report having no friends made a premature judgment that one or more prospective friends were off the list, when it just needed a lot more time.

Enjoy the ride.

While you shouldn’t believe those who say these gonna be the best years of your life, try to make the most of it, to enjoy the ride.

Don’t be ashamed of your hobbies and passions ; those who make fun of that can go f**k themselves.

Every feeling you have deserves to be expressed in any constructive manner.

Don’t fear rejection from those you like/love. Tell them and come what may.

Learn to admit you’re wrong.

When you make a mistake, own up to it. People are more willing to help you when you admit you did a dumb thing. This goes for school, work, and personal life. Forget to make a payment on a loan? Call and talk to the finance company. Mess something up on a school project? Tell your teacher and ask for a bit of leeway. Etc. People will be more likely to help you if you communicate.

Start your retirement fund as early as possible. Doesn’t matter if you can only afford $5 a week, it’s still $5 more than you would have had otherwise. It WILL add up and you’ll thank yourself later.

How to disagree.

How to deescalate difficult situations.

And how to disagree with a teacher/someone in authority without sounding like a know-it-all or in a condescending manner.

For example, if a teacher says X and you are certain you learned differently, recognize that there may be certain circumstances that you may not realize that changes something. Lead the disagreement with a saying like: excuse me, I may be wrong, but I thought/learned Y.

This kind of phrasing does not cause the other person to be on the defensive, which can allow gentle new instruction for you, or a graceful/face saving correction for the teacher.

A situation with differing opinions doesn’t have to be confrontational.

A marketable skill.

Get a marketable skill, unskilled labor sucks. You need something that’s going to pay you, it doesn’t have to be your life’s passion, contrary to what my peers were saying at that age, but you do need to be able to tolerate it.

Don’t waste your time.

I graduated 10 years ago from high school and none of those people are in my life now. So take your time being you and grow your self esteem and talents now over wasting time trying to impress those pricks you won’t even remember in a few months after graduation.

Truly.

Cashiers don’t care if you buy condoms.

You can do it.

I’ve said this before but it’s important. When someone says you can’t do something in life, it means they can’t do it, not that you can’t.

Some things you just have to learn for yourself.

Hard way or not.

That is true, I think, whether a family of origin broke up due to death or divorce, although each scenario can present its own issues.

OP lost his mother when he was 9 and gained a stepmother and stepsister – in addition to his two younger biological siblings – two years later, at 11. His father and stepmother have had two much-younger children of their own at this point.

My mom and dad had me (17m), my sister (14f) and brother (13m) together. Mom died 8 years ago.

Dad remarried 6 years ago and it was not easy for the three of us. Dad’s wife, Rose, has a daughter who’s like 11 now.

They also have a 4 and 2 year old together.

After their father remarried, his younger siblings were still grieving their mother – and so was he. In order to help keep her memory alive, or for them to have something to remember at all, he bought a scrapbook and they started saving photos and stories and memories of their mother.

About a week after their wedding, my siblings snuck into my room in the middle of the night, sad about dad being married and the changes that had happened. They asked if I felt like mom really gone now and I said yeah.

I asked them if they’d like for us to have something just for us, no new family involved, where we could remember mom and talk about that stuff. They said yes.

So I raised the money to buy a pretty nice scrapbook and about once a month my siblings would sneak into my room at night and we’d put photos in and write memories we had and I’d share the stories I remembered of mom, since as the oldest I remembered her best and remembered the stories about her I’d heard.

We never added Rose, our stepsister or our half siblings when they were born. We also didn’t talk about it to dad or anyone else.

I knew he wouldn’t love that we were doing it. I kept it hidden in my room.

This has been going on for at least 5 years, but recently, his stepmother “accidentally” found the scrapbook.

Three weeks ago my Rose went through my stuff and found it. She claims she was cleaning up in my room but I know she was snooping because I had it hidden in a place that she wouldn’t be cleaning.

She went through it, showed my dad, and they sat my siblings and I down and told us that was a really unfair thing to have in the house and how mean it was to do something like that without all the siblings involved.

The three full siblings tried to tell their dad how they felt and why they had kept it but he was deaf to their grief and said they never should have done something so hurtful.

My brother said it was just for the three of us as real siblings. Dad told him that was a shitty attitude and what are our stepsister and half siblings if not real siblings.

My sister said it would always be different. Rose said we should never have made something in the home we all shared when it excluded three of our siblings and would hurt feelings.

She said we should have done something to bring us all together. My sister said that wasn’t what she wanted.

She and his father claim to be hurt and disappointed by the exclusion of their blended siblings, and the stepsister feels sad, too, since her mother felt the need to tell her about it.

My dad sent them out of the room and he and Rose told me I never should have gone along with it and how much it hurt my stepsister when she saw the book and heard what we’d been doing.

Rose said it hurt her too. That she tried to make us all one family and we made sure never to close that divide in the last six years. Dad told me he expected better from me.

AITA?

In an edit, OP said he’d managed to save the book from being burned but he has no faith in restoring the lost trust between himself and his father going forward.

Update: They were going to destroy the book because Rose found this post but I was able to save it. I can’t speak for my siblings but I am done with dad after this. I only have a few months left and I won’t be sticking around, won’t be trying any kind of therapy with them. I’m just done.

I’ll be grounded or something for a while but I don’t care anymore. At least it will just be me. My sister called our grandparents after everything went off and now they know. They want to try and help but I don’t see that working.

Thanks for all the comments.

Was he wrong to encourage a family book that only included their original family?

I hope Reddit has some really wise words on this one.

The top comment says there wouldn’t be an issue here at all if the stepmother had respected their boundaries and privacy.

This comment says it’s weird to want to deny children the memories of their deceased mother in the first place. Real weird.

I have to agree with the last comment, particularly. That’s their mother – why should they be made to feel as if they have to hide their grief and/or memories?

This one definitely hurt my heart.

A shopper at a Dollar Tree store was not pleased with their experience and they shared a video showing just how bad this particular location was in terms of clutter

Take a look at how bad this place looks.

And folks who saw the video on TikTok shared their thoughts.

One viewer commented,

“I would’ve turned right back around and left. Ain’t no way I’m shopping in that.”

Another TikTokker added,

“Not enough employees or pay…this is where we end up.”

And one person said their Dollar Tree looks a lot different from this one:

“Meanwhile mine looks dystopian with nothing on the shelves.”

I guess you never know what you’re gonna get when you go into a Dollar Tree, do you…?

OP is dating someone outside of his culture seriously. He says things have been going great, that he hopes their relationship will last long term, and that her parents requested to meet him since things were looking more and more serious.

I (28m) have been dating my girlfriend (23f) for a few months. Things have gone well; we get along well so far and I really care about her and hope things work out with us.

Anyway she recently invited me to come over and have dinner with her parents at their home. She still lives with them for now. We are getting more serious and they wanted to meet me. If it’s relevant her parents are Indian immigrants to the US and I am white.

He showed up in jeans and an Iron Maiden t-shirt because he “didn’t even think about it” and that shirt “was clean.”

So, I thought it was a completely casual meeting and I wore an Iron Maiden T-shirt. I do happen to like the band but that’s not even why I wore it; that’s just how I dress and that shirt just happened to be clean that day. I went and met her parents and thought we’d had a good meeting.

No one said anything during the meeting but afterward, his girlfriend was upset with him over his choice, saying that he should have known that meeting her parents would require at least a button-down with his jeans.

However my girlfriend is NOT happy with me. She feels as if me dressing in a T-Shirt rather than a nicer button-up shirt was bad enough, but that wearing a shirt with skulls on it was–in her words–“just obnoxious.”

I honestly just dressed for the meeting the way I usually do and didn’t even think about it. I think that if she had certain standards that she should have communicated them to me beforehand. But she thinks that what I did was “obviously stupid and inappropriate” and that I should have known better. Is she right or is she being too critical?

He doesn’t think this is an unwritten rule or that it’s a big deal, but he’s asking Reddit if he’s missing anything.

You know they’re only too happy to help.

The top comment says that most adult people would realize the occasion would call for something not-casual.
