When we say that the new Grand Theft Auto 4: Episodes from Liberty City were ok what, we mean is that the episodes didn’t wow us. It doesn’t compare when it comes to fulfillment with GTA IV, which has a lot of stuff in it. Grand Theft Auto 4 had a long storyline which made the game a good buy, and better yet it made it a worth while, but both of the episodes from Liberty City made us feel like Rockstar short changed it’s fanbase including yours trully.  I know that these games require a lot of work, and I can understand the reason that Rockstar didn’t do much with these episodes is probably because they are working on the next GTA game/installment, which will probably be based in Vice City and it might be called GTA V or whatever name they choose, but it still does not give Rockstar an excuse to make such short games.

The Lost and Dammed was a great story, but it was really short and it really didn’t have to be. There were many things that they could of done to make it longer and make the game reach its pottential, but instead the game was extremely short. Johnny Klebitz was a interesting character and there could of been more about him that GTA fans should of explored and we didnt.

The Ballad Of Gay Tony was another game that was short. It didn’t really impressed us at all. You play as Luis Lopez a Dominican kid, who is a tough guy, and works for Gay Tony and helps him manage the night clubs. You had many character that could of been explored such as Yusuf Amir, Henrique & Armando, the girls he bangs all these things could have been great to make the story a good one and instead Rockstar didn’t used them.

I’ll tell you PS3 owners as a person that played and passed both these games on the 360 and also GTA IV I must say that you are not missing anything. The episodes are soo short and it they really should be worth $20 bucks for both. I can tell you that if you are a GTA fan I recommend you to get these episodes, but only if you like GTA that much to give them 40 dollars for something that should of cost less.

Overall, we give a 4 out of 5 to the Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and Damned. It didn’t meet our expectation, because both games were short.

We were notified today by the folks over at Netflix that our Playstation 3 disk was shipped and that it is schedulle for delivery November 6, 2009. If you own a Playstation 3 you will enjoy having Netflix on it. I own the PS3, XBOX 360 and the Wii. On my 360 i refuse to upgrade to the gold membership account because it is unfair for the Microsoft people to charge all this money yearly just because of a few perks. Yeah some people like XBOX Live, but we are already buying these games, and some games even have ads on them. XBOX Live has ads everywhere and it’s just packed with a lot of stuff, which is ok, but Netflix is a service we all pay for already so why charge us for it?
