A Slimmer Me!

If there is one big change that my friends have noticed these past few days, it is a slimmer me! Hearing comments such as "you look great!", "Tchel you're slimmer now!" or "you shed some weights and looking sexier!" give delight to my ears. So what's my secret? Try juggling two jobs at the same time with frequent overtime - that is working 12 hours instead of 8 hours; spending free time and dayoffs running and chasing F instead of resting and blogging; and above all running like a maniac organizing F's school and having a toxic schedule. With all these fat burning activities I have been doing, I don't reckon I need Phenphedrine to slim down.

However, if your life is not as fat shedding as mine and is wanting a slimmer you, then give this pill a try. Yesterday our topic in the hospital {out of nowhere} was about relationship. As expected all questions were thrown at me, my colleagues were inquisitive about my last relationship and it made me feel like I was being interrogated by NBI officers. How many times did you promise yourself you'd start exercising? Countless times. We all have our lame excuses when it comes to getting fit. In my case, my excuses are my work and my laziness. My Brother's New Lappy...

...and I'm super jealous!

A month ago my beloved brother celebrated his birthday and I was surprised when I learned what he brought for himself as a gift...hmmm...a new lappy. Jealous! jealous me! Between me and him, he is the one who is really into computers and all these technology stuff; it is his life, his world. That's why when he left his ~~old and dying~~ computer behind to work abroad, he felt like he's living in an old age. I love the beat and the lyrics of this song, even F can't help but shake her thing whenever she hears this song. I'm a fan of Craig David and of this song; and after watching Wheesung's version of this song I'm loving it more! Wheesung's dance moves are so addicting and I reckon Craig could have done a better video. Though I like Wheesung's music video more than Craig's, nonetheless, I prefer listening to Craig's version more. Still, both versions are amazing and of pure awesomeness. What do you think? Kris Allen: The New American Idol 2009

Considered as the "underdog" he came out victorious and is the new American Idol after millions of votes cast. A great singer and is a heartthrob {sorry ladies, he is married already} He did great and had amazed the judges with his "surprising" performances week after week. ~~Again~~ Not the result I was expecting to hear but America chose him and can't argue with that. Congratulations!

..........But FOR ME the New American Idol is..........
Am a big fan since day one. For weeks, he'd surprised the judges and the people in his every performances by adding his own twist in every songs. He is one phenomenal artist and everything about him is great - voice and performance. One relevant artist and is unforgettable. And for sure a lot of good things awaits him and doors of opportunities will open after American Idol.

Adam was terrific and so was Kris. Any of the two deserves the title.

My Right Now "TOXIC" Life

If I am to describe my life right now in one word it would be "TOXIC"! {Toxic is the term we use in the hospital when and if we are super busy} Since last week, my toxic life has been keeping me away from my pc and from blogging in particular. I'm doing some balancing act between my being a pharmacist and being a mother - a one tough act to do but so far am managing it.

Saturday, my first day back to working in the hospital and it was one spastic shift. I was doing the cha-cha dance moves and walking left to right looking for the right medicines to serve. With a vivid memory I was able to learn the new system in a short span of time. My colleagues {old and new} welcomed me warmly and it felt good. Employees of the hospital from other departments were also glad to see me back and were telling me to work again as a regular employee. Am not closing any doors, however, for now I am satisfied with my current working status and I reckon I will stick to it.

My life right now maybe "TOXIC" and is making me "lifeless" at the end of the day, nonetheless, I ~~try~~ make it sure to still be present here in the blogging scene during my spare time; like tonight am doing the DCC {dropping, clicking and commenting} 'coz my shift for tomorrow is in the afternoon and I can stay up late, yay! I may have missed a lot of chops! {first commenter} which is sad! sad! sad! but it is okay. What matters is Twinks is still here and won't be leaving any soon. You guys will still be hearing from me...maybe not as LOUD and as OFTEN as before...but still LOUD enough for you to hear.

Can you ~~still~~ hear me? I do hope so.

What A Busy...Busy Week

This has been a one crazy week for me. I've been running around like a maniac since Monday and am so glad that weekend is here and I can have a rest at least for a day - Sunday. This week marked the start of my two jobs and it sucked the energy out of my system.

Monday: I met up with the outgoing Pharmacist and went to BFAD to file the Notice of Change of Pharmacist. We then proceeded to the City Hall to get a new PTR - one of the requirements.

Tuesday: My first day at the community Pharmacy. Had a meeting with the owners regarding the requirements needed and that had to be submitted before the end of the week.

Wednesday: The Notice of Change of Pharmacist application form must be notarized, so I sent Star and Lainy a text message asking for their help and they gladly said yes. I went to their office and bugged them; as expected we chatted about blogging and other funny stuff. It was a fun morning; I had the form notarized, got my new Community Tax Certificate and got to be with my friends {thank you much ladies! and thank you Star for the yummy coffee }. After lunch, I went to the Pharmacy to get the owner to sign the notarized form before submitting it to BFAD.

Thursday: Got all the necessary requirements needed and submitted them all to the BFAD inspector. By lunchtime , I headed to the mall to purchase some things I needed for my other job.

Friday: Morning, I had my orientation at the hospital. Albeit, I've worked there before, still I need to familiarize myself with the new system and with the placement of the medicines. From there I went straight to my other job.

Saturday: My big day. First day of back to working in the hospital and I got the morning shift - 6am-2pm. I woke up at around 4:30am - I forced myself to wake up! We had a toxic shift. So toxic that we didn't even have time to eat breakfast or lunch, or even go to the restroom. I was able to leave the hospital premises {thankfully} at around 3:30pm. When I got home the first thing I did was of course gave F a big hug and smooches and then grabbed something to eat.

One crazy-tiring-energy sucking week for me eh! and oh boy! how happy I am that tomorrow is Sunday - I have no work. I can have a rest, play with F and do my blogging chores. Oh my! I forgot! my room needs some cleaning....sigh...

America Voted: Danny Gokey Is Out

My being knackered and sleepy yesterday didn't stop me from watching my fave show American Idol. Yesterday was one of the show's highlights, as the final two contestants will be revealed. Since Wednesday night, after I've watched the Top 3 Adam, Danny and Kris performed, I had been so anxious to know the results. Of course I was praying that it will be Adam and Danny singing neck to neck against each other on the final night. I've been very vocal about my admiration towards the two and I've been rooting for them since day one. Danny is an amazing singer, he's adorable and had captured the hearts of many fans {including mine}, however, this season is just not his season. After many great performances; after not being in the bottom three in the past elimination nights, America voted him out. I was stupefy and was in disbelief when Ryan read the results . Not that I don't like Kris, believe me he is good and is deserving to be where he is right now, nonetheless, it wasn't the result I was expecting to hear. Expect the unexpected as they say it and this is one case. I know we will be seeing a lot of Danny after AI and that he will be hitting the charts soon. I wish him the best of luck in his career.

Now that my Danny is out, my only hope to win the title is Adam. Ayy! am excited for next week's performance night. Goodluck to both - Adam and Kris. Whoever wins, is totally deserving.

This song has becoming to be one of her favorites; like last night, she was busy as a bee playing with her toys when suddenly she heard this song playing she hurriedly went in front of the tele and sang along. This is not another meme, this is just something I've thought about. I've always treated Sunday as a lazy day, a rest day - a family day and when it comes to blogging, sometimes I couldn't reckon of any topic to write about - am just plain "speechless". Like the meme Wordless Wednesday, I will only be posting any photo every Sunday from now on. Working Two Jobs At The Same Time**

If you guys remember I applied for a new job I reckon more than a month ago, well, unfortunately I still haven't received a call from them. Am I disappointed? I'll be hypocrite if I say I'm not, however, I wasn't really expecting that much when I applied though. The position I applied for was way out of my profession, so for sure the company will hire someone who is more qualified than I am. I wanted something new, a change that is why I applied and I guess it wasn't really meant for me. Period.

Anyway, it is not all bad news for me because I now have a new job..not ONE but TWO! I'm just a bit lucky because in my profession it is easy to get a job without looking any further. A community pharmacy whose owner is a friend of a friend of mine is going to rent my license and will pay me a "good" amount of money monthly plus I don't have to report everyday, only on the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month in the afternoon - what's important is that I have to be present when and if there's an inspection.

And since I still got plenty of extra time to spend {that is aside from being a mum and a blogger}, I decided to re-apply in the hospital pharmacy where I used to work before, however, this time only as a reliever {only when needed} and not as a regular employee. For almost three years of not working as a Pharmacist I lost track of what's new in our field; believe me I even forgot some of the generic names of a drug already. Working again in the hospital will help me refresh my "rusty" memory and will update me professionally plus I get paid.

So when will I start? For both jobs, I will start next week. I will be going to the hospital later this afternoon to check my schedule. I've already ~~again~~ submitted by documents in the HR last week and was interviewed already. Well, I wouldn't really call it an interview, it was more of a "hi - hello - how are you? what's up with your life" talk.

So does this mean I won't be around much? Well, not really - I hope so not. Blogging is my passion now - in fact, my addiction and aside from the fact that I do get some extra $$$ in blogging, I will also 110% going to miss all of you guys. So you see, I can't just get rid of blogging out of my system that easy and with two jobs on hand, I will have a lot of stories to share...soon.

You will still see me in Twitter and Plurk yakking about nonesense stuff! Of course! I won't make you guys miss me.. - not that much...only a little.

TAIM's New Look

After months of being "dead" I've decided to bring back some life again in my The Artist In Me {TAIM} blog. Some of you have added it in your blogroll already and some of you hasn't got a slightest clue about its existence. Well, I can't blame you - I don't really promote the said blog that much {it is just a subdomain of tchel.com}. The first reason why I created it was to have a site where I can post my designs and so-called creations like blogger layouts and my weekend scrappings. Last year, month of November, I was a bit "down" emotionally and lost track of my "artistic" self - I paused for a while and didn't do any designing. It's only been lately that I'm into designing again; inspired? maybe...
Few days ago I was organizing my folders in my pc and discovered that I have so many digi scrapping kits {some purchased, some freebies} that I haven't used nor opened {some are still in winrar format}. So in order to not put to waste the money I've earned to pay for the said kits, I will be scrapping again. Furthermore, since I've already started posting some tags and awards in TAIM I reckon I will continue in doing so; in that way I won't have so many to-do tags and awards in my bookmarks. So I hope you guys won't mind if I post the tags and awards you've given me there. What else? I will be joining some memes and post my entry there and also TAIM is now spreading some CommentLuv!
