So here I am wanting to start over with my nappy manufacture.

This time I have decided to outsource the project to the lovely Jackie from http://www.joltconsulting.com.au/

The team at Jolt have over 20 years combined experience and make sure you achieve your fullest potential.  I have had nothing but pleasant dealings with Jackie and feel I am in the most capable of hands and am very keen on working with her and the Jolt team.

When it comes to business, the one thing that stuck in my head was to outsource.  By giving Jolt this project, I feel a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders, and I can now concentrate on other things that needs doing.

Stocking will be held at 9pm tonight (2/7/09)

There are limited prints, only because I have this obsession that when I need to produce in bulk, I have to finish the one print that I’ve got before starting another LOL.

I am glad I have completed it finally, and I can now start on re-stocking my store with a rainbow of coloured nappies.

If I can recommend anything at all to other WAHMS out there, this is a must!  It is held annually, and worth every little cent.

I met so many other like minded mums, and even met Margaret from  Konstant Kaos whose blog I was only reading a few weeks ago and drooling over her beautiful creations (http://alittlebitofkaos.blogspot.com/) and even Kristy Bennett from http://www.greenandnutty.com.au/ who owns and operates multiple businesses and is expecting her 4th child – congratulations!

We heard a number of experts talk and give workshops.  It was the most rewarding both professionally and personally experience I have ever had in my life.

On of the keynote presenters was Di Padgett, words cannot describe her.  I felt myself tearing up over and over again every time she spoke.  She is founder of  http://www.youarespecial.com.au/

as well as CEO of the Cardinia Philanthropic Society.  I wish that every person in the world was able to just “meet” her.  She is bubbly, extremely funny, and you know what just makes you feel like a hundred bucks.  She is so inspiring that I am 100% positive everyone who heard her at the conference will implement some of her most wonderful tips, and they’re not all about business.

Starting tomorrow morning, there will be no tv switched on, my darling husband is downloading some wonderful and catchy kindy rhymes, we have a huge selection of dancy music that will be played non stop all throughout the day.
Next thing I do is MAKE my husband some lunch to take to work and place a little note right there for him to find when he opens it.

Another lady who has made a marked impression on me is the beautiful Carmel McCartin who runs http://www.budgetbitch.com.au/ and featured in Nine’s Money program (well even gave them the idea!)

Yep you heard right BUDGET BITCH!  And I won the fabulous prize of a consultation with her which I look forward to very eagerly.

I count myself lucky to have joined a fabulous co-op that’s run from within the US so that people like me can buy as little or as much fabric they like at a very reasonable price.

My latest purchase though is sure to make my hubby see red….100 yards of fabric and a whopping $275 postage fee! (And that’s in US rate)

Killer bit – it’s still way cheaper than buying even at wholesale pricing here in OZ.

I need to buy up big to last me the next couple of months until I can get my contracted stuff done.

Mnday 15th June is the date….haven’t worked out specific time yet but it’ll be bright and early.

So I have got 10 days left.  I am so nervous and I don’t know why, but so excited at the same time.  I feel like I am just starting out again.

My new web site truly reflects me though as a person, and I can finally say I feel content with everything – my website, my products, my vision and my goals.

I still have much work to do in the way of my market research and working towards my ultimate goal, but at least I have reached the bottom of the mountain finally….now to just climb it

There are going to be some nice surprises, gifts, and a new range being listed.

I even managed to finish a whole bolt of fabric on the bottom blue/green print.  And I have timed myself during this hard slug, if I cut during the day I manage to complete 15-20 pads by night (thank god kids still sleep during the day).

Other things I have been working on, I managed to embroider 3 nappy cuts in 3 hrs!  What was I thinking about when getting designs that have a close to 1hr stitch out time?!

But end result is absolutely stunning;
