The First New Moon Poster has been released and it looks great

What do you think of the new New Moon Poster?

There is a new director for the New Moon movie so trying to guess how it will turn out is impossible but hopefully the movie will stay true to the book..

The poster looks promising, it will be interesting to see how they will include Edward in this movie as he features less in the second Twilight saga novel, except of course in Bella's thoughts and visualisations.

Any thoughts on how they will do this? Hopefully they will not change the storyline although it may be necessary for some parts of the film. Looking forward to the release of New Moon

Midnight Sun - Edwards version of the events in Twilight

You may or may not have heard of Midnight Sun yet. It is a companion book to Twilight only the story is told from Edwards perspective.

Unfortunately - Stephenie Meyers partial draft of this book was leaked and spread all over the internet without her knowledge causing her to, for the time being at least, abandon working on this novel.

I had not heard about this until recently and was so dissapointed to hear that it would not be completed. I, as well as many others hope she decided to continue with this novel.

Stephenie has decided to make the full draft (12 chapters) available for fans to read on her official website, if you are interested in reading Edwards version of Twilight you can check out Stephenie Mayer's site

Having read the twelve chapters on her site, I am even more dissapointed as even as a draft this book looks really promising.

Stephenie - there are many fans who want you to continue with this book!

Bella is 17 and has just moved from her mothers home in Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father Charlie Swan, the chief of police in Forks, a small town in Washington.

She starts her new life in rainy Forks with little enthusium or interest, her only joy so far is an old pick-up truck given to her by her father.

Bella is intellegent, shy and caring and makes new friends quickly but she is detached, perferring to be alone without getting involved in the usual high school going-ons. Clumsy and awkward, she seems to attract danger everywhere she goes.

On her first day in her new high school Bella recieves a friendly reception and becomes especially popular with some of the male students, although she is unaware of their interest in her. She has accepted her change of lifestyle but plans to detatch herself from getting involved overly much in her new town or school, until, that is she catches sight of a pale, hansome boy across the cafeteria. Edward Cullen.

She has her first real encounter with Edward when she takes the only available seat next to him in class. Bella's presence next to him provokes an unexpected reaction in him which she percieves as anger and she feels confused and annoyed as to why he should react to her with such force. Unaware of the real motivation behind his reaction, she is intrigued with Edward from the start.

Twilight tells the story of Bella Swan, a 17 year old girl who has just moved to live with her father Charlie Swan in the small rainy town of Forks, Washington. Bella decided to leave her home in Phoenix, Arizona after her mother remarried.

Unlike the other girls Bella went to school with in Arizona she is quiet, thoughtful and perceptive. Always seeming older than her age, she was the mother figure in her home and took on the role from a young age with no resentment, describing her mother as her "best friend"

She had no expectation of liking living in Forks and her memories of her stays with her father were of rain and wet, neither of which comforted her on her move.

Resigned to her new choice in life she started at her new high school to discover herself the topic of converation, as the police of chief's daughter her arrival was anticipated by the other students and met with a mixture of admiration, mostly from the boys at the school (to which she was unaware) and jealousy from some of the girls.

But that was all to change when she met Edward, dark, mysterious and devestatingly hansome, he was like no other boy she had ever seen.

The story really begins with their first encounter and continues as they become intrigued with one another and their difference to others, they enter into a confusing and somewhat frustrating friendship while each tries to unravel the others secret, almost instantly devoted to one another inviting danger with every step closer together. Twilight is a movie about the love between a vampire (Edward Cullen) and a human girl (Bella Swan). The movie Twilight is based on the novel of the same name by Stephanie Mayers. Twilight was released in cinemas in December 2008, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, Twilight took in over $70 million at the box office in it's first weekend averaging about $20,000 per cinema.

Twilight is an action packed modern day romance aimed at teenagers, but it has gained a much broader aged readership due to the excellent writing of author Stephanie Mayers, an unguessable plot and gripping story line.
