With yet another notch in the belt that is The Twilight Saga. The Twilight and New Moon soundtracks have been nominated for 1 Grammy Award each at the January 31, 2010 awards ceremony. The nominations in question – Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or other for New Moon and "Decode" by Paramore nominated for Best Song written for a Motion Picture, Television or other. Hopefully we might see one of Rob’s songs nominated for the Eclipse soundtrack. Congratulations to all involved, I have my fingers crossed for you.

Oh baby! This new TV spot for New Moon really shows Bella's struggle and the fight between Edward and Jacob. This is getting intense, I can't wait for opening night. Team Jacob!

This spot seems to hint at new scenes either that or it is just the order of this TV spot that conveys such a stronger meaning than before. 10 days to go!

Summit Entertainment has allowed Collider.com to release the footage provided to them to give us an amazing 10 minutes behind the scenes of New Moon! The video covers Bella and Jacob when Bella finds out he is a wolf, Bella’s birthday party, and Edward’s fight with Felix. Eclipse Movie

Summit Entertainment is already planning the production of the third movie of the Twilight saga. The movie Eclipse, aka Twilight 3, is tentatively scheduled for June 30, 2010. No wonder that Summit wants to fast-track the movie Eclipse: so many fans are waiting for their Twilight fix! Also, by locking in an early deal on this Eclipse movie, SummitEntertainment is hedging against Stephenie Meyer asking for more money later.

Plot - Synopsis:

"As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death."

The official title of Twilight 3 should be in line with New Moon's, so we may fairly bet that it will be titled The Twilight Saga Eclipse.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner back for The Twilight Saga Eclipse MovieIt is clear that Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles in Eclipse, respectively as Bella the moody young lady, Edward Cullen the Vampire, and Jacob Black the newly assumed Werewolf.

But Director Chris Weitz is unlikely to helm the third Twilight movie because of a conflicting agenda: Weitz will still be working on the post-production of the movie New Moon when filming of Eclipse will begin.

Let's hope that if there is again (!) a new director, that he will respect the legacy of the first two movies and that he stay faithful toStephenie Meyer's book! But I don't worry too much about that: Twilight fans are stakeholders with a real influence and Stephenie Meyer will act as the ultimate guardian of the Twilight saga.

I suppose that as usual they will to make a trade off though: a movie adaptation can't go in the details as much as a novel does. So apart from the main plot, what detail of the novel do you think should absolutely be part of the movie Eclipse?

Book Four : Breaking Down

Stephenie Meyer has emulated great love stories--Romeo and Juliet, Wuthering Heights--with the fated, yet perpetually doomed love of Bella (the human girl) and Edward (the vampire who feeds on animals instead of humans). In Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final installment in the series, Bella’s story plays out in some unexpected ways. The ongoing conflicts that made this series so compelling--a human girl in love with a vampire, a werewolf in love with a human girl, the generations-long feud between werewolves and vampires--resolve pretty quickly, apparently so that Meyer could focus on Bella’s latest opportunity for self-sacrifice: giving her life for someone she loves even more than Edward.

How close she comes to actually making that sacrifice is questionable, which is a big shift from the earlier books. Even though you knew Bella would make it through somehow, the threats to her life, and to her relationship with Edward, had previously always felt real. It’s as if Meyer was afraid of hurting her characters too much, which is unfortunate, because the pain Bella suffered at losing Edward in New Moon, and the pain Jacob suffered at losing Bella again and again, are the fire and the heart that drive the whole series. Diehard fans will stick with Bella, Edward, and Jacob for as many twists and turns as possible, but after most of the characters get what they want with little sacrifice, some readers may have a harder time caring what happens next.

Book Three : Eclipse

Eclipse is the newest addition to the saga of Bella and Edward. Will their relationship ever be safe? A slew of murders rages in nearby Seattle, and Edward doesn't think this is the doing of humans. Meanwhile, Jacob is still denying Bella friendship; with his new werewolf status, he is obliged to hate Edward.

Jacob won't give up on ignoring Bella, even though he wants to be friends. And is it just her...or is he acting even weirder than ever??? Jacob shows her his tribe and Bella learns their secret, why they hate the Cullens.

To add even more to Bella's stress, Edward is insisting on paying for college. College? How is she supposed to think about college when she's still not one of Edward's kind?

These vampire-murderers haven't forgotten what Edward did to them, either. The best book yet!

Book Two : New Moon

New Moon is the equally intense sequel to Twilight that begins on Bella's 18th birthday. She is so upset that she is older than the eternally-seventeen Edward that she refuses to even celebrate it. OF COURSE, though, Alice can't let that happen.

Anyway, one day, Edward and his family dissapears. Bella sinks into a deep depression, but Jacob Black, a Natuve American boy, helps her recover.

But Bella can't just forget about him. And soon, her mind is back on him all the time, and not even Jacob, who has been acting weird lately, can help her. Jacob is becoming something new, something scary...and furry.

So things can't get any worse...right?
