            <title>Former Doyal contributor fined by TEC for corporate donation</title>

            <description>&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;A complaint filed with the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC) against a Magnolia area business, has been resolved with a fine.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;The TEC has fined Grand Oaks I Limited Partnership $550 for a violation of election laws prohibiting donations from corporations. The donations were made to Montgomery County Commissioner Craig Doyal’s campaign. The amount of the fine levied was the same as the amount of the original donations.&lt;/p&gt;

Several hundred yards west of the FM 2978 bridge over Spring Creek, Bogs Gully intersects with the creek.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-pagination: none;"&gt;  &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-pagination: none;"&gt;The location where the gully meets the creek is called "The Bogs Hole." This spot used to be the Sunday afternoon gathering spot for local folks.  They could picnic, swim, pitch horseshoes and the like.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;The Lady Bulldogs hosted Spring Woods Jan. 20 and ran to a 27-9 first period lead. While the pace slowed down following the opening run, the lead kept growing, as the Lady Bulldogs took a 55-17 win.&lt;/p&gt;
