2) Ever wonder what the fastest car is? The fastest time for a production car to travel from 0 – 300 km/h (0-186 mph) was 13.63 seconds, achieved by a Hennessey Venom GT.

3) The weirdest car related Guinness Book of World Records was:

The fastest time to push a car one mile (1.61 km) was 11 min 39 sec by Konda Sahadev (India) pushing a Tata Winger van down Shamshabad Airport Road in Hyderabad, India, on 28 February 2011.

For the purposes of this record, it is required that the car weigh at least 1,880 kg. Sahadev’s vehicle weighed 2,700 kg (5,952 lb) not including a passenger.

4) This one sounds fun! The record for the fastest speed driving in reverse.

The record attempt was set up and filmed for the ITV motoring programme Pulling Power. The Caterham 7 Fireblade is powered by a 900 cc Honda motorcycle engine with built-in gearbox. Because most motorcycles don’t have reverse gears, the drivetrain on this car is configured to allow all six forward gears to become reverse gears, allowing theoretical reverse speeds of up to 200 km/h (125 mph).

5) They took bumper stickers to a whole new level! The most stickers on one car.

The most stickers on a car is 10,221 achieved by the Family and Friends of Dr. Maryann Beebe (USA) in Oregon City, Oregon, USA on 20 November 2012.

The team of 11 took five hours to apply stickers to the exterior of the car, one interior door panel and the middle console unit.

Who doesn’t love road trips?! Nothing standing in the way but the wide open road and loads of free time. Where ever your travels take you, here are our top 10 favorite games to play to mix it up while you are hitting the road.

Rock, Paper, Scissors
This game is fun to play no matter what age you are. It is a simple hand game played by two people, where players simultaneously form one of three shapes: rock, paper or scissors. There is a hierarchy to the combos listed below.

– Rock blunts, breaks, or crushes scissors: rock defeats scissors.
– Scissors cut paper: scissors defeats paper.
– Paper covers, sands or captures rock: paper defeats rock.

I Spy
Ya, ya, ya everyone knows how to play this game but don’t lie you know you love it. Find something on the road and start out by saying “I Spy with my little eye something (insert a color here)” then everyone guesses to try to find what you see.

Slug Bug AKA “Herbie Herbie”
When you see a VW bug you get to scream Slug Bug and tap the person next to you. Keep counting and at the end of the trip whoever saw the most and yelled it out, wins!

Who Am I?
Think of someone famous or a friend you all know and start describing the person and everyone else in the car has to guess. Whoever guesses right get’s a point. The person with the most points wins.

Find The Car
This is where someone picks a brand of car or color of a car and the first person to see it yells it out and gets a point. Then they pick a brad or color of a car and someone else has to try to find it.

Hum Along
Start humming your favorite song and see who guesses right. That person gets a point and it is their turn next.

Statue
This is quiet possibly my favorite game to play with kids. It is a game to see who can be quiet the longest.

Telephone
This one takes a full car. Someone thinks of a phrase and says it to the person next to them and that person passes it to the next person until the message gets relayed to the driver then the driver has to say what the last person said to him. See if it is the same as the original or how it got mixed up!

Padiddle
This is an oldie but a goodie. Yell out Padiddle when you see a car that only has 1 headlight on. Great game for night time drives.

You can also click on the trap and a box with more information about the trap will pop open (don’t forget to be logged-in). Another great feature is the dropdown menus below the blue Trapmap bar where you can filters traps and learn about the different trap types.
