is wrong.</p>
<p>First, let&#8217;s dispel a couple myths. I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve heard<br />
these before&#8230;</p>
<p>1. You&#8217;re not successful because you&#8217;re not passionate enough.<br />
2. You&#8217;re not successful because you&#8217;re not a genius.<br />
3. You&#8217;re not successful because you haven&#8217;t purchased xxx book.<br />
4. You&#8217;re not successful because you don&#8217;t think positively.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s all mental mumbo jumbo.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s boil it down to the truth.. You are NOT making money<br />
because you don&#8217;t have traffic converting into money. Simple.</p>
<p>So if you&#8217;re sitting around waiting for traffic to FIND you. Well,<br />
you&#8217;re not successful because you don&#8217;t have traffic.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re sitting around waiting for the same crappy products,<br />
sloppy website, or mistargeted campaign to convert for you. Well,<br />
you&#8217;re not successful because you don&#8217;t have traffic monetizing.</p>
<p>Now, if you follow this information you will be successful. Promise.</p>
<p>I read a lot of the posts in this forum and most of them are well<br />
intentioned, but completely wrong as far as why some people don&#8217;t<br />
succeed. The reason you&#8217;re not making money is because you don&#8217;t<br />
understand the proper framework of Internet Marketing. So let me<br />
give that to you now.</p>
<p>You need 4 things in to be continuously successful in ANY business.</p>
<p>1. Traffic Generation<br />
2. Traffic Monetization<br />
3. Tracking<br />
4. Testing</p>
<p>Forget everything you think you know at this point and focus on those 4 things. Most guru&#8217;s don&#8217;t appropriately understand what I&#8217;m about<br />
to share with you. Grab a pencil and paper and write down those 4 things if you want to succeed those are your new marketing world.</p>
<p>Traffic generation &#8211; Yes Adwords works, article marketing works, blogging works, SEO works, web 2.0 works, direct mail works, space ads work, radio works, banners work, viral marketing works, WOM works, etc etc.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not your traffic that&#8217;s the problem. Traffic is easy to get. EASY. Let me give you the simple frame work for driving traffic. You find where a lot of people go and you give them more value than the site you find them on to follow you. </p>
<p>Easy right? Google > Adwords. Yahoo > Live Search. Myspace ><br />
Web 2.0. Squidoo > Web 2.0. YouTube > Video Marketing. JV > List marketing.</p>
<p>Traffic monetization &#8211; First off pretty much any product will convert. That&#8217;s not the problem. You can find monetization on Clickbank, CJ, Share a Sale, Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Primary Ads, Adsense&#8230;. etc etc. So it&#8217;s not the monetization that&#8217;s the problem. Here&#8217;s the simple frame work to make monetization work. You find hungry people and you give them food. Don&#8217;t give vegetarians steaks. Don&#8217;t try to sell IPODs to people looking for laptops. Figure out what people want, where they hang out, and give it to them. It&#8217;s not rocket science.</p>
<p>Let me guess &#8211; you&#8217;re thinking but C. I can&#8217;t make a website I don&#8217;t know HTML, PHP, PERL, ASP, Linux, or anything about them. I can&#8217;t make any money because I don&#8217;t know how to make the best landing page in the world. Right? No, that&#8217;s not right you&#8217;re not making money because you don&#8217;t have traffic monetizing. It&#8217;s not your skill<br />
level that&#8217;s holding you back. Use Squidoo, Blogger, Wordpress, Joomla, Weebly, or find a nice FREE html layout (check Google) and use a nice FREE html editor (Kompozer).</p>
<p>Tracking &#8211; ah now we are getting into the real marketing information. If you quiz 100 marketers making money most won&#8217;t even mention the real reason they are. You&#8217;ll find that people with fly by night success generally don&#8217;t even know why they are. Haha. It&#8217;s funny,<br />
but true. You see you have to learn from your marketing efforts. You are building assets.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s the best asset you can build? Data. Daaaata. Data is the &#8220;secret&#8221;. Data. More data. And more data. And some more data. Are you getting this? I hope you are. Don&#8217;t read this<br />
and think because I didn&#8217;t charge you some absurd fee that this information isn&#8217;t priceless. Write data on your forehead. Okay hopefully, you got that in your head.</p>
<p>What is greatest strength of Internet Marketing? Simple. You track what a large group of people do and because of the large numbers you can &#8220;guesstimate with statistical certainty&#8221; what your conversion numbers are. What are conversion numbers? Conversion<br />
numbers are how often your visitors are going to do your most wanted response. If you have an opt in form your MWR is collect the email. If it&#8217;s a sales page your MWR is the sale, if you are promoting a merchant your MWR is the click through to merchant page. </p>
<p>Capiche?</p>
<p>So if you know 100 people at your sales page is going to get you 2 sales. You have a CR (Conversion Rate) of 2%. So what does this mean? It means you have a BASELINE to IMPROVE. Which leads us into the fourth component of continuous improvement in ANY business.</p>
<p>Testing &#8211; Now, I can talk for hours and hours about this topic. I&#8217;ll boil it down into the most important components. What is testing? Testing is seeing what works and doesn&#8217;t work. That&#8217;s the simple definition. If a blue headline gets you a higher CR you use a blue<br />
headline. If a certain headline gets you a higher CR &#8211; you break it down into the emotion it hits and test along those lines. Which leads me to my first top secret tip of testing..</p>
<p>Testing teaches you about your audience. It teaches you how to &#8220;connect&#8221; with them more efficiently. Some audiences like Times New Roman (older newspaper crowd) and some audiences like Verdana (newer internet crowd, bloggers, etc.). Testing is going to show you what your audience likes and doesn&#8217;t like. Now what do you test? </p>
<p>Top secret testing tip #2, you TEST what WORKS!!!! Successful people don&#8217;t reinvent wheels. I&#8217;m not talking about your fly by night successes &#8211; I mean consistently successful people<br />
figure out what works for one person and then they test along those lines to improve it. Get this through your head &#8211; don&#8217;t try to do this alone. Use your competitions&#8217; information test their headlines, use their copy as a template of your own, follow direct marketing<br />
response advertisements, create a swipe file, watch Alexa to see what companies are blowing up &#8211; figure out why and reproduce it. Follow what works and get in the way of the money.</p>
<p>There you go if you really follow what I&#8217;ve just laid out you&#8217;re going to make money. If you don&#8217;t follow what I&#8217;ve laid out you won&#8217;t make consistent sales and you won&#8217;t improve your business. If you think to yourself there is more to it than this. You need to clear<br />
the crap out of your head and just follow the four step process. Yes, there is more information, but every successful piece of information only tweaks one of these 4 components making them more efficient or implementing them.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today, I&#8217;m going to write to you about today. Now, that may seem a little odd. Why would C. write about today? Well, first off let&#8217;s back track a little bit. All we have are todays. We don&#8217;t have a yesterday those are already done. We don&#8217;t have a tomorrow, we wll be waiting all the way to the grave for a tomorrow.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not sure what your today looks like, but I have a pretty strong feeling as I write this &#8211; that you have a very busy tomorrow planned and maybe your tomorrow never gets fully accomplished because you&#8217;re constantly saying, oh some day or maybe I&#8217;ll start getting that done tomorrow.</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s start with today. The only day we will ever get. First, let&#8217;s have a moment of gratitude to the Creator. Without Him, well we wouldn&#8217;t have much of anything &#8211; now would we? After we do this, let&#8217;s have a moment of gratitude about our loved ones &#8211; the ones that we have been blessed to have in our lives. I&#8217;m not sure where you may be right now with your loved ones, but I do know this tomorrow will never come so if you plan on waiting till tomorrow to tell them how much you care and love them. You&#8217;re going to be waiting for a long long time.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s all take this special time together as we begin to approach such an amazing time of relationships and time together of why we are involved in this business, when we all have so many other things we could be focused on. A lot of people think it&#8217;s the money &#8211; but is it really? Or is it maybe the people and the things we are surrounded with right now, that we are waiting for tomorrow to truly enjoy? Let&#8217;s remember that we are helping people and most importantly let&#8217;s remember that today is the only day we have.. tomorrow will be today.. and the next day today.. so let&#8217;s use our today&#8217;s on what really matter and not on things that willl rust and dust.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s join together and drive ourselves so when our time here is done &#8211; we lived right and we remembered to value our today&#8217;s. I don&#8217;t know about you, but I don&#8217;t want to think to myself of all the things I didn&#8217;t accomplish or get a chance to enjoy. <p>I would even go so far as to say, that the reason why you are STRUGGLING to find success is because you believe there is something new under the sun. It is this belief and focus that causes you to latch on to things &#8220;outside of your control&#8221; these are things that are not given to you to control.</p>
<p>The things you are given to control are simple:</p>
<p>Your time.<br />
Your health.<br />
Your life.<br />
Your business</p>
<p>I am about to just give it to you straight because there is so much misinformation out there. And it is all designed to give you one single thought:</p>
<p>&#8220;You are not successful because of something you do not know.&#8221;</p>
<p>If you follow every single sales letter, empty promise, and scam out there it is all centered around the same 4 letter word: Hope. What is this hope? Maybe it is that you will grow a couple inches, have a better life, be a little happier, or just plain like who you see in the<br />
mirror.</p>
<p>Is it really money you seek or maybe something else? Something deeper darker and more insidious.. maybe it&#8217;s just plain self respect. I don&#8217;t know the answer to that, but I do know one thing, you won&#8217;t find your solution in any sales letter, product, and not even in these carefully poised words until you are ready to face your real obstacle.</p>
<p>What is the obstacle that is stopping you from success?</p>
<p>Before, we talk about what is stopping you from success let us talk about what successful people do to become successful. Seems like a logical place to start doesn&#8217;t it?</p>
<p>Successful people do what unsuccessful people will not do.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s the big secret.</p>
<p>- Successful people will hold on to 100 bucks that could be spent on a new product, when the  old one they have hasn&#8217;t been opened yet.</p>
<p>- Successful people will write an article a day, to build up backlinks and a little bit of daily traffic.</p>
<p>- Successful people will take a couple weeks to make their own product when they find a nicheful of hungry buyers.</p>
<p>- Successful people will seek out other successful people and leverage a joint partnership.</p>
<p>- Successful people will follow a plan until it is a success.</p>
<p>Now, at this point you are probably thinking, okay so that&#8217;s the big secret C.? That&#8217;s why you have taken time out of your precious life to write this post. Just so you can state the obvious? Yes and no, it goes a little bit deeper.</p>
<p>What drives successful people?</p>
<p>Successful people do when unsuccessful people do not. This isn&#8217;t something you can&#8217;t find in a sales letter, a new shiny product, or the newest Google slap information. These things don&#8217;t matter. In fact the most successful business owners I know, do the things that most people consider, &#8220;basic.&#8221;</p>
<p>Funny isn&#8217;t it.</p>
<p>The general thought process is: I need to LEARN what those other business owners are doing. While they are just sticking with what they know works. It&#8217;s not what you know that determines your success, but what you do.</p>
<p>So, what is it that separates those who do from those who do not?</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why this post was written.</p>
<p>I was a young punk. I used to drink and basically spend my life putting one toxic substance into my body after another. I was focused on just eeking out a normal existence, while thinking how big I was in my head. I was pitiful.</p>
<p>Then reality struck. My mother passed away from Cancer. This caused me to really reevaluate my life, I stopped drinking, I stopped doing drugs, and I stopped sleeping with every girl that caught my fancy. I realized that life is just a brief moment in the span of eternity. And I started to pray.</p>
<p>I was given deep, deep revelations as I prayed and read the Bible. And that&#8217;s when my WHY started to come together for me. I remembered during these moments that when I was younger, I watched<br />
my mother and father come home, go to work, come home, go to work, watch tv and try to fit a &#8220;life&#8221; into the brief moments that could be shared, usually on the weekends.</p>
<p>I thought to myself, isn&#8217;t there more to life than this? It was with this question looming in my mind that I begin to look around watching all of the different lives around me. I saw so many friends and their families, as well as my own family. Just so depressed. Living out lives of quiet desperation.</p>
<p>Now, I don&#8217;t believe that you must have a business to be successful or even happy in life, but I do believe you should be given the chance to create one.  At the very base components, business is about providing value on a massive scale. Later, you systemize it so you may create more systems<br />
of value. As you do well with small things, you are given greater.</p>
<p>My WHY was beginning to form. What if I could learn how to create my own businesses, and then later give this information back to those I love. What if I could give to families that had nowhere else to turn. What if I could do SOMETHING with my life that didn&#8217;t consist of just, me. What if<br />
I could make an impact with this brief moment of time that I share with you all. What if what if  what if.</p>
<p>My WHY was solid. I wanted to learn business so I could, make businesses of value, so I could provide value in other people&#8217;s lives and I wanted to teach others how they can do it also. I wanted to help people work from home, so that they can raise their kids. I wanted to see kids grow up in<br />
strong safe environments full of parental guidance and support. I wanted to make a difference.</p>
<p>This WHY drove me when I didn&#8217;t want to succeed. It drives me even now. It drives me when I&#8217;m up in the morning at 2 AM wanting to sleep, but I end up staying up until 7 AM finishing up &#8220;work&#8221; that I don&#8217;t even need to do. This WHY caused me to work 70 hours a week at my businesses until<br />
I had them systemized to run themselves. This WHY caused me to go to people I love and who trust me to ask them for money, as I showed them my crude business plan. This WHY drove me then and it drives me now.</p>
<p>So, I ask you my friends after sharing my story, and my WHY &#8211; what is yours? Let us all join together and create WHY&#8217;s of such strength and substance that the choice between watching TV and providing value in other peoples&#8217; lives becomes so automatic, so precise, and so driven.</p>
<p>Then we too can say that we do what other people will not do. While others are sleeping away into the night, we toil. While others watch TV, we toil. While others quit because of an unsuccessful campaign, we press on! While others quit because of an angry spouse, we move forward! Why? Because<br />
we have no other choice. We have no other option. We are trapped in our WHYs &#8211; together.</p>
<p>We too can claim the prize of knowing that we are a success because we did what others would not do. Not because we are better, more powerful, stronger, or wiser, but because we knew our WHY.</p>
