Last Wednesday on the season premiere, Banks and two other judges narrowed the competition down to 14 pint-sized models.

These thoughts most likely ran through the minds of all the applicants for this season of the show, too. Even as Banks had to cut women from the competition, she did not bluff about the rigorous requirements of today’s plus modeling agencies.

She admitted to them that they would walk into agencies and be told they were too short. But she encouraged that they could do catalog work.

For anyone who doesn’t follow modeling, catalog work is like a slap in the face to an ambitious model. All fashion models are the real models. Everything else is nothing but community college when you’ve always dreamed of going to Harvard.

It’s a joke, really. But, if all goes well, this season of ANTM could change that. If Banks’ choice at the end of the season succeeds and proves that there can be more than one Kate Moss, our society’s perception of model measurements could change forever.

Bar Refaeli has revealed how she plans to pick up her next man.

The Israeli model who recently split from Hollywood hunk Leonardo DiCaprio insists she won’t try too hard to bag herself a new boyfriend.

My plan is don’t try too hard, she said. When girls try to be sexy it’s not sexy to me. I feel that a girl is the most sexy when she is confident with herself. So if I want to be sexy I try to show confidence.

The sexiest I ever felt was the first time I put on a dress and went dancing with my friends. The way to impress a cute guy in a bar is to ignore him!

Bar, 24, recently revealed that she’s keen to become the next Heidi Klum.

Alyssa Jayne Milano is an American actress, born to Italian-American parents, Tom and Lin Milano, and she has a younger brother, Cory (born 1982), who is also an actor. She's best known for her roles on the sitcom Who's the Boss? and as Phoebe Halliwell on the fantasy series Charmed.

Her professional acting debut came when she was 8, she won a part in an open audition for a national tour of Annie. Having gained a reputation, she appeared in television commercials and off-Broadway productions.. After playing in numerous plays and musicals she made her television debut in 1984 at the age of 11 as "Samantha Micelli" in the sitcom "Who's The Boss". During the eight year showing of "Who's The Boss" she won three Youth in Film awards for Best Supporting Actress.

Her film debut was at the age of 10 in "Old Enough". Two years later she played Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter in the hit movie "Commando". Later in life as a teen, Alyssa recorded five albums in Japan, all of which went platinum. Milano is also an accomplished singer and recording artist, though not in her home country of the United States. She has released 5 albums that have all reached sales of over 1 million copies in Japan. She even appeared in the blink-182 video for the song "Josie".

In the 90s Alyssa has made some distinct steps away from her "innocent girl growing up" image, including starring in the CBS TV movie about the Amy Fisher/Joey Buttafuoco situation. She followed in Drew Barrymore's path in the 1995 film Poison Ivy II: Lily (Barrymore played one of the competing Amy Fishers on "Amy Fisher night", when each of the three networks carried a made-for-TV Amy Fisher movie; She also played the lead in the first Poison Ivy film.). She also made notable appearances in Double Dragon, the racy Embrace Of The Vampire, and last year's Fear.

On a personal note she has an interesting love life. Alyssa was engaged to Scott Wolf (Double Dragon) in 1993, but their engagement was broken off. Alyssa met her husband singer Cinjun August Tate in 1999 and they got married after a few dates. Alyssa and Tate were separated soon within a year after their marriage.
