Recently BJP MP Ananthkumar Hegde was reprimanded by EC for his hate speech. He also gloated about his past criminal record and challenged that one more criminal case against him won't affect his career. Swiss Banks with their secrecy policies have always managed to thwart investigations. I think they seriously need to rethink their policies. Frusty's Law, Moral of the Story: It is the classic dilemma faced by the confused voters. If he doesn't vote then he doesn't fulfill his duty as good citizen. And if he votes he has to select of the candidates with dubious credentials. Probably that is why the movement of negative voting is gaining popularity. But that would mean changing the law which of coarse is a slow and tedious process. Also the politicians would not favor such a provision as it would go against their interest. Till then I think the best recourse for the voter is to cast his vote and select the BAD amongst the WORST choices he has.

Frusty's First Job

Frusty went for his first interview and got selected for the opening. But on second thoughts he wasn't very keen to join the job as the pay was less. On hearing his concern the recruiter assured him that pay should not be a concern for him as he would get very good exposure and meet large MNCs clients in Gurgaon (India). Frusty joins the company but reality soon dawns on him. He is asked to deal with clients about which no one would have heard , 'Gai Chaap Masala', ' Baba Masala', 'Rajdhani Atta','Shah Namkeen'. He was expected to get bulk orders from them. Frusty soon encounters hi Boss and complains about the reality and how he was duped during the interview. Boss takes a hearty laugh and tells him "welcome to the corporate world, this is waht you have to do. Had I told you the truth at that time you would have never joined us."

It's FRIDAY THE 13th (March 13th 2009).In case you are suffering from triskidecaphobia, I thought I would like to remind the others who like to pray for divine intervention to ward to any evil that may be stalking them. Its not that I am not scared of it but all the day's in my life are like FRIDAY the 13th. In such a case you learn to live with it like that's a reality of life. May be I am a born pessimist but I strongly believe that pessimists are never dissapointed in life. You may be wondering what does that mean. Well being a pessimist you always expect bad to happen and so anything untoward happening in life doesn't dissapoint you, as you expected it. On the other hand if by chance or beacuse of twist of fate ever anything good were to happen it would be a pleasant suprise to me. I believe there is a think line between a pessimist and a pragmatic person. I feel I am pragmatic rather than being irrationally pessimistic.
