Lately, I’ve had a lot of observation of cool and weird candy dispensers that you find in stores, airports and malls. So I decided each that I see one I’ll post a picture hopefully it will often because there are some funny and different dispensers out there. The first one that caught my eye was a Mentos Candy Dispenser that I saw in a local “Dollar Store” right before checking out.

This isn’t the best shot but as you can see it is quite different than most Mentos Candy dispensers that you see. It caught my eye so I decided to take a shot. It was very organized in that each level the Mentos flavor was separated. Does add extra attention when checking out at that unorganized checkout counter as it stands as a tower over the rest of the junk there, lol.

So I visited a candy shop in Barcelona that was quite cool, Happy Pills. When you enter the store you know its candy shop but it has the feel of a pharmacy! The colors are amazing and of course a large assortment of candy to choose from. However, you can’t just stuff the candy into a plastic bag like most candy stores. You have to pack it like a pill bottle. Hence, the name Happy Pills!

I didn’t buy any candy on that day because there was so many people and I probably should have pack a bottle of patience pills. I’m very impatient so I didn’t want to wait..

You can also purchase gifts and Happy Pill gift boxes as well. But of course its more fun packing the candy into a medicine like bottle and giving it as a gift as opposed to the box below. I’ll be back to give a full review when there are less people in the shop!!

The Toy Story is one of the most popular Disney Movie of all time. So my mom decided to buy this for me and I was surprised with its similar taste of the Flintstones Vitamins that I use to take as a kid. Although, the vitamins have a juicer taste than the Toy Story tarts , they are good enough to give out for Halloween. I like individual small bags like you saw in the video.

You can buy these online but they maybe hard to find.  At CandyWarehouse you can find the Disney Tarts of Mickey & Friends but I was unable to find the Toy Story version. I’m sure its around but you might have to look around. These are good for kids because for them the taste isn’t so important. Its all about the SUGAR!!!

I was sent an email of an article by the New York Time Out Magazine regarding Old-school candy. This Halloween, how about treat your Halloween guest with retro candy. Granted most of the trick o treaters won’t have an idea of the old candy that we use to eat as child but it could be fun for you give out!

Sorry I didn’t have much memory left in my camera so it was cut a tad bit short. I really loved this chocolate not only because it had the flavor of Werther’s Originals but because the caramel just melting in my mouth. I realized after eating how much I miss eating chocolate with caramel. Although, chocolate and caramel is a perfect recipe for gaining weight but some times you gotta just take a break and enjoy the finer things in life!!

By the way,  last week in the UK was National chocolate week!
