It might work, but like I said - this sort of thing annoys people and I really don't see a substantial enough benefit to do so in this case.

I can't say about others, but I would definitely be annoyed by such a change.

Extended daemon script

The official daemon script works very well, but there are three things i fixed for my needs.

On my server all users are strictly separated to groups. All users use usually umask 077. Running a daemon as root and with default umask 022 would interrupt this.

I patched the defaults file and the daemon script so that one have to add informations about the user the group and the umask. Well, in the daemon script there could be a check, if UMASK and/or USER and GROUP are defined … but naaah

I tested it at my system and it works as intended

Sorry for my late reply i had several problem with my servers during the last week. Had to reinstall some stuff and so on

I tried the diff and it does what expected.

If i click “subscribe with Tiny Tiny RSS” the htaccess authentication pop up appears (well, no, it’s not htacces, because i’m running lighttpd which in fact does not know anything about htaccess, but i guess u all know what pop up i’m talking about i’f i’m saying “htaccess popup” even if it has nothing to do with htaccess *g*). After entering my data, the TinyTiny RSS subscription dialog appears and it works like charm.

I might actually be doing something wrong with regard to hotkey handling in tt-rss, but you might get better results asking for Mozilla input on this - especially since I never experienced anything going wrong with FF or Safari hotkeys here.

Just run this command

And set 777 permissions to the directory /www/htdocs/w008ef16/tt

Because the daemon creates a file in the root directory update_daemon.stamp TTRss

Backend did not return valid XML since 1.3.4 upgrade

Well, tell your friend Tom that his feed works for me - so it looks like the same library issue as outlined above. Unfortunately, I still don't know how to fix it.

Hello fox,

We have deleted the right dropdown menu in tt-rss.php.

After 15 hours (30 CRON updates), all is OK:

1.- Our Plone RSS portlets shows the updates of our feeds (more than 400 of Free Software in Spanish).

2.- Visitors can't access into prefs.php.

3.- Visitors can't subscribe, unsubscribe,... to feeds through tt-rss.php (they can use starred, published,.. but this is not a problem for us).

The problem was not in TT-RSS, but in several sindicated feeds. I have deleted these feeds and now Plone portlets works with TT-RSS URL.

It looks like automatic expiration and promotion of users has been broke on Online for quite a while. It works now, which should create some new open registration slots when Postgres finally finishes deleting all the inactive users.

I'm having doubts about adding per-user timezone setting, at least in this way - because blindly forcing timezone before updating the feed might screw with expiration mechanics or require adding calling date_default_timezone_set() everywhere. That is, unless I'm missing something.

As an easier workaround for the time being users which are in this situation can add the call to date_default_timezone_set() in config.php which is sourced everywhere so the effect should be universal. This is not as convenient as a per-user setting, though.

Well, if you take a look at the provided feed, you'll see that links there are not "clickable" so that's hardly surprising. Making them clickable would require detecting and rewriting them to actual links which is not something tt-rss does.

I had a similar problem with some feeds.
I solved this by using Yahoo Pipes to take the feed and change local paths to remote paths.

Have a look at the first few lines of lib/magpierss/extlib/Snoopy.class.inc , you can define a proxy and enable it there.

According to me,You have to write Mysql query for your login page which is check both your login name and password.If they match after you can redirect another page.
Because when Mysql query is run then first is check your username and password.So may be you just check it out your query and after run your application and also try to Google it.Hope this works.Thank you
