Jaycee Dugard Makes People Magazine Cover

LOS ANGELES, Ca., Oct. 14 (TOTI) --

Jaycee Dugard, the California girl who was kidnapped outside of her South Lake Tahoe home in 1991 and didn't return home again for 18 years has made this week's cover of People Magazine.

Dugard has finally broken her silence concerning her ordeal and went on the record about her captor Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy.

The story is called "I'm So Happy To Be Back" and is in the October 26 issue which will hit news stands this Friday.

Jaycee Dugard captured the attention of the nation when it was learned that she had been living in Garrido's backyards for such a long time. She has now been re-united with her family.

Sara Jane Moore

LOS ANGELES, CA., May 28 (TOTI) --

Sara Jane Moore is now 80 years old and out of prison. She tried to assassinate then-President Gerald Ford in 1975, and was sent to prison until she was released in 2007.

Moore was on the Today Show, where she showed that she wasn't exactly repentant about her actions so long ago.

"I still believe if I hadn�t done it, someone else would.... It was a time people don't remember. We had a war in this country, the Vietnam War," she said on Today. "The only way it was going to change was by revolution."

After she began her sentence she started to think differently about the attack and her role in it.

�[I] had begun to realize that I'd been used. I think that I was misled, that I was mistaken. I think I made a serious error,� she told Matt Lauer. "I had to learn later that everyone else didn't feel that way."

In prison she finally decided that she had made a serious error in shooting Ford.

She says she's done her time now, though, so everyone who thinks she should remain in prison is wrong.

"We have a Constitution, and we have laws. Regardless of who you are, there were conditions to be met for me to be paroled, and I met those conditions," she said. "If people object to that, write your congressman and ask that your law be changed."

Lucy Gordon - British Actress - Found Dead In Paris Home

PARIS, FRANCE May 21 (TOTI) --

Lucy Gordon, a 28 year old British actress that starred in Spider-man 3, has died as a result of an apparent suicide.

Her boyfriend, who remains anonymous, contacted authorities after he woke up to find her hanging from the ceiling of her Paris apartment this morning. Authorities do not suspect foul play in her death.

Gordon would have celebrated her 29th birthday on May 22.

The motive for Gordon's suicide aren't known, but friends close to the star say that she was deeply affected by the recent death of a friend in Britain.

Recent projects that Gordon worked on include the film Gainsbourg which opened in Cannes this week. Gordon plays the part of 60s actress and singer Jane Birkin. A Cannes Film festival organizer said, "We are devastated by this news. All those attending the festival had been hugely impressed by Lucy's work. She was a star in the making."

Her family has had no comment.

Kara Goucher

BOSTON, Ma., Apr. 20 (TOTI) --

Kara Goucher is catching everyone's eye today due to her third place finish in the 2009 Boston Marathon. The 30 year old Duluth, Minnesota native had set her mind on becoming the number one woman's marathoner in the world and she certainly is close to the top.

Goucher is proud of her third place finish in what's considered to be one of the most prestigious of all marathons.

"I usually have a great kick. I really thought I could do it. My legs still felt kind of pop-y. I’m proud of how I did, but I just wanted it for everybody who supported me. I raced the best that I could, but I wanted to be the one who won for everybody."

Kara Goucher is also a hit with fans who think she looks very sexy in her skimpy running clothes.

Congratulations to Kara on her outstanding performance in the 2009 Boston Marathon.

Farrah Fawcett Cancer Update

HOLLYWOOD, Ca., Apr.6 (TOTI) --

Rumors that Farrah Fawcett is on 'deaths door' on are untrue, according to one of her close friends.

Farrah Fawcett, 62, a 1970's supermodel and former Charlie's Angel, was recently hospitalized after experiencing complications with alternative treatments for colorectal cancer. This is the second time she has battled the disease after being diagnosed with the rare form of cancer in 2006.

Producer, Craig Nevius told the AP, "She's doing fantastic. She's not going anywhere anytime soon."

Fawcett is expected to be released from the undisclosed hospital in a few days, according to Nevius.

Other celebrities fighting cancer include Patrick Swayze, 56, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in January, 2008. Despite his illness, he has continued with his acting career and stars on the A&E series, The Beast.

British reality television star, Jade Goody, passed away on March 22, 2009 shortly after being diagnosed with cervical cancer. She was 27 years old and is survived by her newlywed husband, Jack Tweed and two young sons, Bobby and Freddie Brazier.

Guy Ritchie Supports Madonna's Bid To Adopt Malawi Child - Mercy

LONDON, Eng., Apr.4 (TOTI) --

Even though his marriage to Madonna is over, Guy Ritchie still supports his ex-wife's desire to adopt 4 year old Malawi orphan, Mercy.

A judge in the case has rejected Madonna's bid to adopt the child citing 'residency' as the cause for her decision. Malawi has strict rules regarding how long someone must live in the country before they're able to adopt an orphan and Madonna hasn't fulfilled them. She fell under scrutiny for the same residency issues before successfully adopting David Banda.

Ritchie issued the following statement at RadarOnline about his former wife:

"Madonna is a fantastic and loving mother who cares deeply about her own children, and children who may need additional help and support.
I fully supported Madonna in her decision to apply for this adoption, and I am saddened that her application has been rejected.
She is motivated only by being a caring parent who seeks to share some of the advantages and opportunities that her life has given her. This time it did not work out, but there will be other opportunities and I wish her well in them. She is a great mum."

Madonna has three children - daughter Lourdes, 12, from a previous relationship and two sons with Ritchie, Rocco, 8 and David whom they adopted in 2006.

Madonna's lawyers have appealed the judge's decision to forbid Mercy's adoption and another hearing in the case is expected to take place next week.

Nadya Suleman's Publicist Quits

WHITTIER, Ca., Mar.8 (TOTI) --

Nadya Suleman, known as 'Octomom', has had another publicist quit her curious case.

Victor Munoz is the second publicist to suddenly quit working for the single mother of 14. The birth of her octoplets on January 26, 2009
sparked worldwide controversy. All of Suleman's children were conceived through In Vitro Fertilization. (IVF)

Munoz told US, "It just got to be too much. It's pretty much a free for all over there right now. They are freaking out right now."

"Not to sound arrogant, but those people depended on me for everything," he continues. "You have no idea what I’ve had to do for these people."

"Nadya got real greedy. This woman is nuts," he adds. "This I can say: what ultimately destroyed the business arrangement was personal reasons."

Suleman initially hired the Killeen Furtney Group to handle her PR but ended their professional relationship with Nadya Suleman after receiving numerous death threats in connection with their client.

Nadya Suleman's fertility doctor, Michael Kamrava, is currently under investigation for violating the standard of care. He is accused of implanting seven embryos in a 49 year old uninsured woman - she is currently pregnant with quadruplets and is hospitalized in California.

Nadya Suleman – Octomom Thanks The Fans

LOS ANGELES, Ca., Mar. 7 (TOTI) --

Nadya Suleman doesn't really have any fans. Most people seem mad at her for the choices she's made in love. But there are people helping her. Although many people are tossing their anger at Suleman, some are sending donations. After all, she does have 14 kids to raise.

"I do know there have been some donations," she told Life & Style, "And for that we are very, very grateful."

Nadya has learned that not everyone is against her.

"Some people out there are kind-hearted," she said.

Still, the odds against her success are high these days. There is still a rather big question about whether or not she'll be able to take care of the octuplets and if she'll be allowed to. The issue of foreclosure also hangs over her head. The stress has become great for Nadya and her mother.

They recently got into an fight that was shown on the Internet via video.

"Learn to let go of what I choose to do," Nadya said to her mother. "I don't apologize for having all my children, and I never would. I love my children more than I've ever known love in life."

Clara's show, Depression Cooking With Clara, takes a look into how simple it really is to make cheap dishes that the whole family could love. On top of that, Clara shares some whacky stories that only a 93 year old would dream up.

The show is taped by her grandson Christopher who also created her website. He originally started filming her in order to remember her recipes. Then he decided to share Clara with the whole world.

Nadya Suleman - Octomom - Looking To Purchase $1.2M Home

WHITTIER, Ca., Feb.20 (TOTI) --

Nadya Suleman, who recently gave birth to eight children, is looking for a new place to call home. She had six other children prior to giving birth to the oldest set of living octuplets.

The 33 year old unemployed mother of 14 children, all conceived through in-vitro fertilization, is finally going to move out of her parent's foreclosed house and is considering a $1.2 million dollar home in Whittier, California.

The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Although the house has a nice interior, it seems relatively small for her growing family. The unfenced swimming pool and hot tub area could be a danger to her numerous young children.

Nadya Suleman's unconventional and dangerous approach to building a super-size family hasn't resonated with a number of taxpayers, but the outrageousness of her story has already made her an estimated $227,000 for interviews with the Sun and Daily Mail and another $100,000 for exclusive photos that ran in two American tabloids. In addition to these payments, Suleman launched a website to process online donations for her and her children.

Along with buying a new home and raising her kids, Nadya has plans to continue her education by getting her master's degree in child counseling at California State University at Fullerton. She already holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Despite what would be a dire financial situation for anyone else, an actual job is nowhere in Nadya's future. She told US, "I have to wait until the kids are at least preschool age."

Sarah Palin Goes To Bat For Bristol and Levi Johnston

WASILLA, AK, Jan. 2 (TOTI) --

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have received a lot more attention than the average youngsters faced with teen pregnancy. Palin's mother, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, ran for Vice President of the USA, and everyone learned about the plight of her daughter's pregnancy by Johnston.

Now Palin wants the world to know that much of what you hear about Bristol and Levi is not true.

"You need to know that both Levi and Bristol are working their butts off to parent and going to school and working at the same time," Palin told People. "They are certainly not high school dropouts."

Even if they don't get their high school diplomas, Palin's fame offers them several opportunities to make extra money. The two are reportedly the center of a bidding war between multiple publications over the rights to pictures of the newborn.

One editor says the amount is already up to $300,000.

Suzanne Somers Sued For Failed Business Venture

LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec.21 (TOTI) --
Suzanne Somers, known for promoting great products like the Thighmaster, has been named in a lawsuit for a failed business venture.

Suzanne Somers and John Y. Brown Jr. had intentions of operating a "do-it-yourself" meal preparation business called Suzanne's Kitchen.

The business never got off the ground and investor, John Shannon Bouchillon is seeking to recover $400,000 that he put into the venture.

The lawsuit was filed in Fayette Circuit Court earlier this month.

Bouchillon's attorney, W. Craig Robertson III, told the Herald-Leader, "In reality, there was no agreement that had been reached ...
and ultimately Suzanne pulled the plug on the whole arrangement. That left everybody holding the bag, including my client."

The concept of Suzanne's Kitchen was to offer a place where consumers could create their own meals using recipes that Somers developed. These dishes could then be frozen to be served at a later time. Brown said the business concept failed because
the prep-meal industry is under developed.

Somers' and Brown's original business plan also included selling franchising rights to entrepreneurs, but the flagship store in Lexington, Kentucky closed after just a few months.

John Brown said "Everything was done legally and properly."

Somers and her company have not responded to the lawsuit.

Michelle Duggar Welcomes 18th Child

ROGERS, Ark. Dec.19 (TOTI) --
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have one big family, and it just got a little bigger with the birth of their 18th child.

The couple welcomed daughter Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar yesterday.

The baby girl was delivered by Caesarean section at the Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She joins siblings Joshua, 20, Jana, 18; John-David, 18; Jill, 17; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 14; Joseph, 13; Josiah, 12; Joy-Anna, 11; Jeremiah, 9; Jedidiah, 9; Jason, 8; James, 7; Justin, 6; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 3; and Jennifer, 1.

Jim Bob, 43, said, "She's just absolutely beautiful, like her mom and her sisters."

Michelle Duggar is 42 years old.

The Duggar family stars in the TLC series, "17 Kids And Counting." The TV network said that they will update the title to account for the new edition. They also plan on airing a special program that features Jordyn's birth.

Nicole Buffett Not Spoiled By Her Grandfather, Warren Buffett

BERKELEY, Ca., Dec.18 (TOTI) --
Nicole Buffett, the 32 year old granddaughter of Warren Buffett, a man known for his flair in investing, says that she isn't spoiled by her famous grand dad. In fact, Warren has pretty much disowned her.

Nicole works as an artist and makes approximately $40,000.00 a year, doesn't have cable television or health insurance, according to her.

Warren Buffett's son, Peter, married Nicole's mother when she was four years old and adopted Nicole and her twin sister. The Buffett family embraced the children, but Warren was stern about what money he was going to dole out to the girls after they were grown.

Warren didn't mince words and said that he would pay for their college tuition and that was it. He financed Nicole's tuition at art school but refused to pay for extras, like furniture for her apartments.

Nicole told Marie Claire magazine that their relationship chilled after she agreed to appear in the documentary The One Percent that tackled the subject of the gap between rich and poor people in America. The Buffett family has managed to keep a relatively low profile and kept out of the media spotlight and she didn't seek approval from her grandfather before filming the piece.

She said, "I definitely fear judgment. Money is the spoke in my grandfather's wheel of life."

She made matters worse when she appeared in Oprah to promote the film. She told Oprah, "It would be nice to be involved with creating things for others with that money and to be involved in it. I feel completely excluded from it."

Warren Buffett renounced her after she kept on talking.

Peter Buffett divorced Nicole's mom in 1993 and remarried a short time after.

Despite being disowned, she still has a few things on her side - the Buffett name and an education. Surely, Warren feels that this should be enough for her to make her own way in the world, and he's probably right.

It's a lot more than what others in this world have and cable television isn't all it's cracked up to be - certainly an extra $50.00 a month can make that dream a reality.

Criss Angel And Holly Madison Make Gifts And Cash 'Appear' For Christmas

LAS VEGAS, NV., Dec.11 (TOTI) --
Las Vegas showman, Criss Angel and Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's ex girlfriend, are getting into the spirit of Christmas and have donated cash and toys, so that needy children in the "Silver State" will have gifts under the tree on Christmas day.

Angel donated $7,500 cash and dozens of gifts to the cause.

The $7,500 monetary contribution was a joint effort with the Luxor Hotel and Cirque du Soleil. The donation was in conjunction with local radio station KLUC 98.5 FM's 10th annual toy drive.

In a interview with the radio station, Angel said, "To give back gives you a feeling that's really priceless and, you know, you can't buy that feeling anywhere with all the money in the world, so that's why we like doing these things."

Seems Criss is an "Angel" after all. His gifts and monetary contributions will benefit the Help of Southern Nevada's holiday toy assistance program.

His Las Vegas show Believe is hosted at the Luxor Hotel and Resort. The show is set to run for 10 years. His TV show, Mindfreak is scheduled to run for two more seasons.

Selena Gomez Likes To Cheer Up Her Friends

HOLLYWOOD, Ca., Dec.4 (TOTI) -- Selena Gomez, the 16 year old performer that sang the National Anthem at the 2008 Dallas vs. Seahawks football game on Thanksgiving Day, doesn't like it when her friends are feeling down.

The bubbly brunette recently told Tiger Beat how she brightens her friends day. She said, "I make a fool of myself in front of them."

She even has a special routine for her BFF, Demi Lovato. She continued, "If Demi is having a bad day, she'll come over and I'll just bring up inside jokes or I'll get up and start dancing. Then we'll pull out the ice cream."

What cheers up Selena when she's feeling sad? "When I'm having a bad day or I'm not feeling well, I love it when someone plays with my hair."

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have been friends for years and host a popular Youtube channel.

Selena told Teen magazine, "We were playing with Demi's computer and I said, 'We should make a video just saying thank you to our fans for watching.' Plus we do so many silly things and half the time we go, 'If our fans knew they'd probably laugh at us and think we were such dorks!' So we did it strictly for our fans to show them who we are."

Dannielynn Birkhead Is Growing Up Fast

BURBANK Ca., Dec.2 (TOTI) -- It seems like only yesterday Anna Nicole Smith gave birth to her daughter, Dannielynn, but the little girl that lost both her brother and mother before she got a chance to know them, turned two in September.

Life & Style recently spoke with Larry Birkhead, Dannielynn's father and custodian, about how little Dannie was doing. He told the magazine, "She's counting really well and singing her ABC's. She puts on clothes by herself, and she's learning how to use her
princess potty. But she does have expensive taste! She gets that from her mom."

Dannielynn's birth erupted a paternity battle between Larry Birkhead, Anna Nicole Smith and Smith's former attorney, Howard K. Stern.

Despite what happened in the past, Birkhead is happy to have Dannielynn and won't let her forget her mom and brother. He said, "Before I brought her home, I said she's always going to know about her mother and brother."

Deborra-Lee Furness Is Hugh Jackman's Leading Lady

You know the saying - "Behind every great man there's a great woman?" Well this is the case with Deborra-Lee Furness, the wife of Hugh Jackman, who was recently named the "Sexiest Man Alive" by People Magazine.

Deborrah-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman met while on the set of the set of the Australian TV show Correlli in 1996. Jackman said that he was so smitten with Furness he made plans to ask for her hand in marriage three months after they met and started dating.

Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman married in April 1996 and adopted two children, Oscar Maximillian, 8, and Ava Eliot, 3.

Deborra-Lee Furness is currently filming the movie Blessed.

Jackman remains modest about his recent "sexy man" status. He recently told reporters, "My wife (Deborra-Lee Furness) said, 'I could have
told them that two years ago,' Then she said, 'Obviously Brad Pitt wasn't available this year.'"

Thomas Beatie Expecting Second Child

Thomas Beatie, 34, the first transgendered man to give birth to a healthy baby recently announced that he is pregnant again.

Beatty gave birth to a healthy baby daughter Susan on June 29, 2008. He told Barbara Walters about being pregnant again, saying "I feel good. I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track."

He didn't resume taking male hormones after Susan's birth so he could get pregnant again after having Susan.

Thomas Beatie lives with his wife, Nancy, 44. The couple is due in mid June, 2009.
