Two quick things today.

You Are the President of Your Own Nation and it’s called “Imagination”. This particular nation is the driving force behind your life and is the underlying factor for your future. You have an enormous responsibility as the President of this nation, because you always need… to focus on the future and strive to make it the ultimate nation or simply the best place to be in the world!

As the President you will inspire others to create other phenomenal imaginations of their own.

Where do you suppose they got those ideas or where did they all dream of those achievements first? They did their dreaming in their own nation called their “imagination”.

Now, I’m not saying that one of us is going to imagine personal flying cars (though it would be pretty cool) so when we are stuck on the freeway in bumper to bumper traffic we can just hit a button and the car rises about 30 feet and we take off…ha ha ha…yes, later suckers!

But what I am saying is to take some personal time and evaluate how you are handling your nation.

Are you excited about where you are going?

Does your heart skip a beat with pure excitement of the possibilities that await you, of what you can do and where you will be a few short years down the road?!

Take some time alone and journal your thoughts…Let your Dreams begin to fly and write them down.

You and I are empowered to create wealth for ourselves in every aspect of our lives and in our families and friends lives: spiritually, physically and financially.

I really want to encourage and challenge you today to utilize your God-given imagination and imagine and dream whatever you want to be and do. This can and will entirely change your life for the better, because you now have a great responsibility as a President of a Nation, and it’s called your “Imagination”.

I just came across a profile on Facebook, “I Hate Being Broke”. And it has 127,731 fans. Here are some of the comments on the wall:

“I am currently broke… until next Monday”

“so broke it’s no joke”

“I have to save up to be poor”

And it gets pretty heated too, one guy comments, “I would recommend a job”. Then someone replies, “Sure thing *%#hole…I hate you condescending rich snotbags acting like you know what’s up…”

The person who started this group on Facebook says, “Not liking the Rich people who join the group and commenting…If you don’t know How it Feels Like to be Broke, why join?”

Hate can be a very positive and passionate emotion! And I Hate…Being Broke!!! What is your definition of being broke?

I lived in the Indian Sub-Continent for 2 1/2 years while working with Youth With A Mission http://www.ywam.org and saw millions of broke people making only a few dollars a month!

Poverty exsist of course in every Third World Country but it also exsist right here in the good old USA. Poverty and Being Broke go hand in hand, don’t they? But you can be broke and not live in poverty. Basically if you are living from paycheck to paycheck (which I am) then you are Broke.

And I Hate Being Broke!

I’ve never met anyone who was thrilled about being broke or living from paycheck to paycheck, have you?

I have A lot to be Thankful for. I am pretty Stoked on life! But how do you get out of the rat-race of living from paycheck to paycheck? I think there would be a very small percentage of people who are content in life living this way. What do you think?

Here is why I Hate it and Despise it: Can you really do all the things in life that are in your heart to do for you and your family? How can you truly have a positive impact on others and the world around you by imparting to them, encouraging them, lifting them up and helping them when we are consumed with lack or anxiously waiting for our next paycheck to arrive?

I know, that you know, that success is always hidden by problems and in solving them, we acquire the skills that we need to be a leader. So, back to the question: How do you get out of the “rat-race” of living from paycheck to paycheck? Is it even really possible? How….

YES IT IS POSSIBLE!

And here I believe is the Starting Point. It begins with you. It begins with me. Does it happen over night? Of course not! It’s a journey…and you have to Start your journey new every day. Refresh your vision. Let your heart out of it’s cage. Release your heart to dream about an unimaginable future for you and your family. Focus on “Your Why”. Start internalizing your “Why” in your mind, your heart and your spirit. It will change your life forever, and you will never go back to that point you were at before you found your your “Why”.

I believe a genuine “Why” should blow your mind. It should scare a little bit. John Di Lemme says, “The sheer possibilities of it should blow your socks off!”

So what is Your Why?

It must be bigger than who you are right now. It should be so big that it actually scares you into success. When it seizes your heart, it takes over. It will drive you. You won’t be a passenger but behind the wheel and in charge of your now, and your future. It will ignite you and fuel your dreams. It will change your daily actions and thrust you to places you have never seen or considered before. I will set you apart from the crowd. It will impart to you that little bit of extra that makes you fulfilled, passionate, proud and prosperous in all areas of your life.

And you and I will make and are making a difference in our families lives, our friends lives and the world around us!!!

I’m not sure of your sense of humor but it’s a pretty hilarious movie about two middle-aged goof-offs who become members of the same family when one’s Mother marries the others Father, and sparks soon start to fly between the contentious New Step-Siblings.

First they absolutely hate each other, then they become best friends, then they hate each other again and then their friendship is restored when… after blowing the Catalina Wine Mixer show, the Father tells the sons, “When I was a boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur and I would run around the back yard chasing and growling at the neighborhood cats pretending to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur.  Then my dad yelled at me, Son, you’re 17 years old-grow up!”

The two “boys” said, “Dad, your a human, you could never be a dinosaur. What’s your point?”

He says, “The point is, Don’t lose your dinosaur…Don’t lose your Dream!”

So they save the day by John C. Reilly playing the drums and Will Ferrell singing in Spanish, “Time to say Good-bye.”

“In the United States of America lies a large industrial city which is the site of one of the world’s largest slave labor camps. Located in and around the center of this city are community settlements where the slaves live. Each morning the slaves move herd-like from their quarters into the slave labor camps. Each one is at his or her station by 7:30 AM. Here they report to their master for the day’s duties. And here they remain chained until 5:00 PM when they’re released to go home.

The slaves have no choice as to how many hours they must labor. Sometimes they are required to work overtime until their master tells them they may leave and go home.

Each year the slaves are told when to take their vacations, for how long, and when they must return. They have little choice as to how much money they earn as they are paid not what they are worth, but what the job is worth. They are allowed very little time for lunch and coffee breaks during the labor hours.

The slaves will remain in their chains in great fear because the master can punish them with the “firing” or “layoff” whip. It is said that even some of the older slaves who have been good and faithful have felt the sting of the whip.

Day by day, year-by-year, the slaves toil and grow older until the master decides it is time to release them to the retirement camps where they’re forced to sit idle and wait for death.

It’s a well-known fact that the old slaves who try to keep working are sometimes whipped with a “stop-their-pension” whip.

I know these slave camps exist for I once was a slave. But now I am a free man who lives among the slaves. The reason I am free is because I am in business for myself as a Network Marketer. Yes, I am truly free. I arise in the morning at the hour called for by my schedule. I decide my own hours. I can even sleep in late while the slaves are at work. I can vacation when, where, and for how long I please. I’m free to take my coffee break and lunch when I decide.

And of course, I can decide my own paycheck because I am not a slave. I can choose to work when and where I please and with whom I please. I’m free to stay in the city for as long as I want, or to move on to greener pastures if I decide to.

I’ve seen many slaves sadly pack their belongings to leave their city in search of a new master, but it is always the same.

There is, however, a ray of hope for the slave. He or she can buy their own freedom. The cost is not high, yet it seems to high to those who do not have the courage to pay the price.

The year was 2001. Life was good. I was blessed beyond measure. Wonderful marriage. Three beautiful kids. Parents, and extended family. We were the image of a Norman Rockwell painting of the perfect American family life.

Little did I realize that this was all coming to an abrupt end! Shattered, Broken, Disillusioned…

Now let me say real quick, Everyone was OK physically. There was an event in my overall family that shook and tested our very foundation. It took several years of pressing in, faith, prayer and good old fashion tenacity to make it through it all.

So why did I share this with you?

I am sure that many of you (if not all) have had life altering moments or events in your life, or you know of someone who has. The question is, “How did you or they get through it? How and in what way did it affect your life?”

Now, what does this have to do with the subject line, “It’s Time to get Pissed Off and Passionately Hate Anything in your life that’s holding you back? Holding you back from seeing your dreams and hearts desires fulfilled and coming to pass?”

Life in general, not including those life altering events has a way of Stealing your Dream. Getting trapped in the 9 to 5 rut, just trying to survive. Once a dreamer, Now a worker and fulfilling our duties making it through the week so we can hopefully enjoy the weekend…It’s time to stop the insanity and It’s time to Dream Once Again!

Your wife/husband need you to dream and dream big. Your children and family need you rise up and fulfill your mission! Your Why! This quote by Richard Bach is thought provoking and powerful, “Here is the test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: If your Alive, it isn’t.”

One of my mentors is John di Lemme and he says this on page 52 in one of his books,”If every bill was paid and you had enough money in the bank for the rest of your life, what would you be doing? Take a second and write down your answer. That is your “Why”!

Give that some deep heart filled thought. And get passionate about Anything in your life that is steeling your dream and hindering your “Why”. Despise it. Get rid of it. Your family and friends need you to this.

That’s what this blog is all about. To help produce Action with Purpose.

I was going to write about multiple topics like Time to Hate: smoking, being fat, bad relationships, lack of focus and the list can go on and on…and have affiliate links on the various subjects etc. but part of my ultimate “why” in life is to speak into the lives of countless thousands both home  and abroad (19 countries so far) helping them get laser focused on their dreams and find their why in life. But first, a friend of mine said to me today, “Time to Hate Fake” and this is not only totally right on, but what makes it really cool is that his name is Jake! So we are going to be writing a article entitled,”Time to Hate Fake by Jake.” Well, I at least thought it was cool.

So, Here we go

This article is not only some “keys for success” but just good old common sense in life. It’s good to Listen, it’s good to Learn which helps and enables us to Live more productive lives for ourselves and for others.

Listen- Who are you listening to? The person that you need to listen to is you. Inside of you is your heart’s desires. Today, take some time and ponder and think and make a commitment to yourself to truly figure out “Your Why.” Your Why is the reason you get up each day with excitement and anticipation for what the days holds and for what you will accomplish and fuels you with energy to push through any obstacles that may come your way And…Ultimately Your Why is your dream. Listen to your heart’s desire and it will tell you Your Why in life! And you must have Faith (Find Answers In The Heart). It takes faith to become successful in life and fulfill Your Why.

I love this statement in regards to the heart by Oliver Wendell Holmes, “What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are small matters compared to what lies within us.”

Learn- Are you on a constant and consistent track to increase your knowledge? We’ve all heard that knowledge when properly applied is power, but it’s your decision to build upon your knowledge and create that unstoppable power. We were all made to learn reading, math and language and we just didn’t throw our hands up in the air as children and say, “I give up.” So, let me ask you a question. Why are you throwing your hands up on your dreams? Wait a second Alan, I’m not doing that! Well, if you are not learning something new everyday that will assist you in achieving Your Why then you are ultimately giving up. Listen, there are way to many distractions out there that are seeking to devour our dreams and heart’s desire! I really encourage you today to take it to the next level by committing to learning something new everyday in the area of Your Why.

Live- This is the last step that will help you achieve “unconventional success”. You see conventional success means that by the age of sixty-five,(According to the US Social Security Board) that 85 out of 100 Americans don’t possess as much as $250 in savings. And only 2% are self-sustaining (the rest dependent on family, church or government). This is totally insane. So what is unconventional success? Well, It’s up to you and me to forge forward in life and to live life to the fullest, to achieve massive wealth in every area of our lives despite what conventional success says. To make the decision to Live your dream by finding Your Why.

So, Who are the three people you thought of? If you thought of more than three that’s OK because we all need to know the importance of Listening, Learning and Living.
