This video explains how to format and upload HD (High Definition) video to YouTube using freeware available for PC. The same concepts should also apply to Mac, I have included a link to alternative freeware for Mac users.

The tutorial requires a few freeware programs available online:

VirtualDub:

VirtualDub gamma adjustment plugin:
http://www.64k.it/andres/data/virtual... (leads directly to download, only compatible with 32 bit version of VirtualDub)

MPEG Streamclip:

Quicktime:

(Only needed if you don't already have the h.264 codec)

To use the VirtualDub plugin, just extract the .zip contents into VirtualDub's "plugins" folder.

VirtualDub isn't available for Mac but the free program Avidemux has similar functionality:

I haven't used Avidemux so I can't help you there, but from my understanding it should be able to resize a video as needed for this tutorial.

Cool little feature that manages the focus of windows on top of each other. When you click on a window that is currently "behind" the focused window, the new window sort of "dodges" the other one. Might be tough to see in the video, since it happens so fast.

One feature I like to use both because I feel it is productive, and because I think it looks cool, is called Expo. Expo is found in your Compiz settings. While recording this video, it wouldn't allow me to show you my favorite part, dragging a window from one virtual desktop to another while in Expo mode, but trust me, it works.

Very functional / productive addition to Ubuntu (IMHO) is Gnome-do. Press Super+Space to launch the application search window, or turn on the Dock for that OSX feel.

How to Hide a File in an Image
Req's:
-An Image
- Some kind of compressing tool [I prefer 7-Zip]

Steps:
1. select your target picture and file
a. If you don't already have a target folder create one
b. Right click
c. Go to new
d. Then up to folder
e. Transfer your documents to the folder

2. Create a new archive and compress the folder(s)
3. Delete the old file once compression has completed
4. set the current directory [cd] to the target location
a. Right click and go to properties
b. Copy the file location.
c. Use the string ...
- cd "File location"

5. Combine the files using the string...
Copy /b "Image file" + "Folder" "Final name"

Retrieving the file(s):
1. Open 7-Zip
2. locate image file
3. Extract

With limited funds, Google founders Lary Page and Sergey Brin initially deployed this system of inexpensive, interconnected PCs to procss many thousands of search requests per second from Google users. This hardware system reflected the Google search algorithm itself, which is based on tolerating multiple computer failures and optimizing around them.

This production server was one of about thirty such racks in the first Google data center. Even though many of the installed PCs never worked and were difficult to repair, these racks provided Google with its first large-scale computing system and allowed the company to grow quickly and at minimal cost.
