If confirmed then this is the biggest EuroMillions UK based lottery win ever.

A Camelot spokesman said: “This is absolutely fantastic news, and the biggest ever lottery win in the UK.”

“We’re delighted to have yet another massive UK win, following hot on the heels of Nigel Page’s amazing £56 million EuroMillions win in February 2010.

The win has yet to be claimed and validated but all indications are this is a new UK record.

The winning numbers : 01,17,31,43, 47.  Lucky Star numbers were 02 & 03.

Other notable UK winners were : an anonymous winner also in August 2007 who won £26,533,767.50; and Brian Caswell of Bolton, who won £24,951,269.40, in June 2009.

In May this year a 25 year old Spanish woman became the biggest EuroMillions winner when she won £113 million.
