DAMN!!!!! Finally, the dam is bursting, Keep up your racist rants Sean Hannity and Rush Limgasbag because you two racist assclowns are killing your party of rethugs!! I think this is very smart of Specter. We welcome him to the Dem party. I know that it is probably because he wants to get re-elected but that is OK. He fell in line on the stimulus and I find him to be one of the few thinking (past) GOPers

Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Penn.) is becoming a Democrat.

“I have decided to run for re-election in 2010 in the Democratic primary,” said Specter in a statement. “I am ready, willing and anxious to take on all comers and have my candidacy for re-election determined in a general election.”

“Since my election in 1980, as part of the Reagan Big Tent, the Republican Party has moved far to the right. Last year, more than 200,000 Republicans in Pennsylvania changed their registration to become Democrats. I now find my political philosophy more in line with Democrats than Republicans.”

Sources told the AP that an announcement could come later in the day — or Wednesday.

Vice President Joe Biden and Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell have urged Specter to switch parties in the past.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, not only are Chris Brown and Rihanna back together, but the explosive couple are said to be living together. A family friend of Ri’s said that though Chris isn’t officially on the lease, he and his girl, who he had been arrested for beating in February, have had “quite a few nights together.”

Pretty sure she’s out of her mind for taking Chris back? Yeah, well she doesn’t care what we think. The source says that “Rihanna still wants him and has told all of us to ‘get over yourselves. … I’m with him, so deal with it.'” The insider did say, though, that Ri and Chris are going to lay low as a couple for a while.

A rep for Chris had no comment.

Despite some onstage tensions, The Pussycat Dolls frolicked nicely together in Las Vegas Saturday night. The ladies are currently opening for Britney Spears on her national tour.

After Saturday’s Circus stop, the girls hit Pure Lounge at Caesar’s Palace. Group members Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt partied with Dolls creator Robin Antin, enjoying Grey Goose bottle service.

Turbulence has surrounded the hit makers of late as their new single “Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)” is credited to “The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Sherzinger.”

Sherzinger is widely considered the lead singer of the group, but never distinguished in such a way from the rest of the girls. At a recent stop in Phoenix, Az, Melody thanked her hometown for their support “even though I’m not featured.”

Hopefully the girls will keep those perpetual smiles as the tour pushes on.
