AppSync on iOS 4.1

As usual AppSync will be available for iOS 4.1 as soon as apple release the public version of iOS 4.1. So if you jailbreak your device you’ll be able to install Appsync via Cydia then install cracked ipa files by iTunes (it’s working with iTunes 10). -How To?-

But the problem is in jailbreaking newer devices. As one knows the newer iDevices (including iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad & iPodTouch 3G & 4G) can’t be jailbroken by jailbreaking tools that uses pwnexploit such as PwnageTool, redsnow, etc. Note that there is a huge diffrence between pwn tools (redsnow,etc) and userland jailbreak tools (Spirit, Jailbreakme).

So You should wait until someone find an exploit or a hole in iOS 4.1 to jailbreak it. I think it will happen soon.

Please save your SHSH blobs for you current firmware & also 4.1 as soon as it available

I think Apple release the iOS 4.1 in near future. So every iPhone (iPad, iPodTouch) users should get ready for this happens. I myself do the following jobs to ensure that my device is ready for future iOS version.

1. Make backup of everything

2. Save SHSH blobs

3. Sync Contacts with a 3rd-party app such as outlook

Downgrading 4.0.2 to 4.0.1 now possible without SHSH

BigBoss today post a new article which is about downgrading iOS 4.0.2 to 4.0.1 WITHOUT SHSH saved. As one knows 4.0.2 is not jailbreakable on iPhone 4, 3GS and iPodTouch 3G, So by downgrading to 4.0.1 you have a chance of jailbreaking with JailbreakMe.
I’m looking for similar way for iPad users for downgrading 3.2.2 to 3.2.1.

A user named CodeBlue has discovered an unconfirmed method that may allow you to downgrade your 4.0.2 iPhone to 4.0.1, jailbreak, patch the safari exploit with Saurik’s patch and be jailbroken safely.

My favorite iPhone Apps [Part 1: Social Apps]

Ok, today I want to write something about “Social Apps” on the iPhone. Now a days everyone joined to at least 2 or 3 different social network such as Facebook, Skype, Yahoo! Pulse (Also known as Yahoo! profile or Yahoo! 360), Google Buzz, Yahoo! IM services (Yahoo! Messenger), etc. As you may seen on Social App section of AppStore you can find dozen of apps (both free and paid) looking for you to download and use them. as I prefer to use official apps, I choose the following

Facebook : for facebook
Yahoo! Mesenger: for yahoo IM services
Skype: of course for skype calling services
Windows Live: for hotmail IM services
And Yahoo! : for yahoo pulse.
I DON’T USE GOOGLE BUZZ

I know that there is several 3rd-party apps with multi servies such as IM+, Meebo, eBuddy, etc. I know! but I prefer to user officials.

Advantages of using official social apps

They provide full functionality of service
Official Apps are free (also ads free)
You can trust Official apps they don’t stole your username and password but 3rd-parties …

Advantages of using 3rd-party social apps

They are more stable (you can see it in action when comparing Yahoo Messenger vs IM+)
They get much more updates
They provide multi services in one apps, so you don’t need to switch between apps

After near two years of introducing AppStore by Apple there is hundreds of thousands of apps that are waiting for you to download and use them to have a better digital life with your amazing smartphone. But who can test them all? NO ONE!

Developing iPhone App without paying apple $100, iOS 4.0.1

Once again, Alex post an article for users who wants to develop app for their iPhone (iPad, etc) but they don’t want (or they can’t) pay Apple $100!

As usual, we want to be able to click “build and go” in Xcode and get the app we’re working on to load to the phone and start up. Also, we want to be able to debug from within Xcode itself.

iOS 4.0.2 Released, DO NOT UPDATE!

Few hours ago apple was released iOS ver 4.0.2. Of course it will render the jailbreakme exploit. If you update your jailbroken iDevice, you will lose all jailbreak software! So DO NOT UPDATE!

So what happens if someone accidentally apply this update? Is it possible to downgrade to 4.0.1?

The answer is yes and no! Yes for those who saved their SHSH for iOS 4.0.1 (or 4.0.0) and no for those who did not!
