If you religiously follow this blog, randomly check in, or land here off some weird google search result, you have no doubt noticed that things here at The Zeppo have been pretty dead since the middle of last year. I found that a lot of what I wanted to post was readily available at sites like Reddit and Imgur, so I really kind of felt unauthentic and unecessary.

That said, I really didn't want to shut things down around here so I took some time off to (very) casually consider what else I could be doing here without straying too far from what it was. In the end, I decided to take it back to its roots and actually review and discuss media that interest me. I know, crazy!

So, what does that mean? Basically, I will be offering up info and sometimes reviews of things that interest me, particularly boardgames, theology, music, and movies/tv. I will still post funny videos and particularly funny images, so don't be sad. And while I will begin posting more often, I am going to take the pressure off myself by not having a real post schedule.

Anyway, that was a lot of nothing to just say that you should actually start seeing some posts from me again so. So, Huzzah!

Seeing the trailer for Catching Fire is bittersweet. I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to seeing how they translate it to the screen. The sad part is that the last book (the one after this) is absolutely terrible. For the first time in my life I want the screenwriters/producers to completely ignore the source material and do it their own way. For now, though, I am excited for this.
