They say it is ever so easy to find things that are useful but look boring. However, to find something that is absolutely pointless but interesting can be a daunting task. Well, if you traveled to Japan, you might find a lot of things that are useless but look damn interesting.

Here is a weird and pointless mouse which comes covered in grass. While the idea may look good to those who advocate green living, it is rather funny to imagine you might have to water the mouse so that the grass stays green and fresh.

The mouse is one of the many objects covered in grass by Japanese artist Hanaoka, who has also covered cars in grass. If you ever visit Japan, make sure you do ask people around who they plan to water this mouse if you see someone having it. Perhaps this would be great for those in the computer industry as that would remind them that the junk that computer hardware generates after becoming unusable creates a lot of ecological and environmental problems.

It actually might be a good gift for such people! If you are tired of all the grassy and mousey stuff that you read just now, you might want to read about an equally pointless Cassette Case for the iPod Nano or the Grass Cellphone concept. It certainly could be declared to be a work of art, but with not much functionality whatsoever.

Mad Hatter Hat Takes You On A Fantasy Ride

It’s time for the ghosts to get slimed one more time, for you have the power to bust them with the help of the Ghostbusters Proton Pack built by Dan Thomson. Well, if you spot any ghouls, that is! Humor aside, this is a perfect tribute to the cult classic ‘Ghostbusters’, which hit the screens (both small and big) during the 1980s. One would have to be waking up from a prolonged coma or lived in the ice age to have not heard about, let alone swooned over, the heroes who kicked specter ass. And if you love the movie and the characters as much as we do, we are pretty sure there is a beeline to find out more about this interesting creation.

There isn’t a lot of information available about the Ghostbusters Proton Pack, but we can tell you for now that it incorporates a Proton Gun with a Proton Pack, much like the original equipment that the movie characters carried. If you believe in apparitions and fancy yourself playing the role of a ‘ghost buster’, you certainly should get your hands on this one.

Ghostbusters Proton Pack: Kick Specter Ass

The quilt is made to show the periodic elements in their respective places on the periodic table, and definitely a good idea for one to be amongst the elements.

The quilt is stitched perfectly, with every square the same size and in perfect place. Every set of elements are differentiated and made in different colors in this quilt – Red for the Alkali Metals, Pink  for the Alkaline Earth Metals, The Transition Metals are all in shades of grey, Post Transition Metals are in shades of purple, Metalloid and Non Metals in orange, Halogens in yellow and the Noble Gases in shades of green. Google has recently released a Google Chrome 4 beta of its browser that is gradually becoming increasingly popular, especially among users of various Google services, including one of the most recent called Google Wave.

Google Chrome Beta 4 has some substantial changes to the previous version Chrome 3, such as the use synchronization of bookmarks. Called “My Bookmarks Sync”, the tool is useful for those who want to keep the favorites in more than one PC. The synchronization feature is on the Tools menu of the browser and is called Synchronize My Bookmarks.

By clicking on it, the browser opens a window to the Internet user to enter User name and password from Google. With that done the synchronization is initiated. To access the bookmarks on another PC, just do the same thing.

Google engineers have also developed two new features for the Chrome 4. The first is the Web Works. With this feature, the browser does not crash when processing heavy code or scripts. The second is the local Storage. Thanks to this technology, the Internet user has the ability to access web services even with the computer disconnected from the Internet.

The browser brings improvements in the JavaScript engine and the source code. So, it is faster to process pages and scripts of the Internet as well as compatibility with the HTML 5 standards. One important detail: Google Chrome is a version still in development. Therefore, the Internet user to use the software can, in certain moments, will find bugs in the browser.

Thundercats and Xbox 360 fans can now unite with this amazing looking Xbox 360 paintjob that leaves the shell looking beautifully classic and resurrects old memories of childhood geekery.

The old Thundercats TV show created many fans still who still cherish the animation today, with the characters and story being hailed as one the greatest cartoon shows ever and many cannot deny its coolness.

Well, there isn’t anything new released from the Thundercats, besides a rumor of a Thundercats movie…but then again, that rumor has been for some time, and I will only believe it when I see it. Thundercats Xbox 360 Paintjob is Amazing

In case you wanted a complete Cheeseburger combo with all the fixings, french fries and coke but without the calories, then this Lego Cheeseburger combo looks really brickalicious. The only thing is that it isn’t edible, but it sure could get a Geek salivating.

Another beautiful Art creation by Let’s Brick that almost stacks up next to the Cheeseburger Bed we saw before, but this one provides a new form of inspiration and really went all out with so many different Lego bricks. It doesn’t use just the regular bricks, but it made sure to get into a full stack, as to make up with all the details.

This cool Cheeseburger combo is made up of the actual Burger, that is built from the ground up with the Sesame seed bun, burger, a slice of melted cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles and even some sauce for an extra flavor. In order to make sure you are not left hungry, the paper bag of Fries is completely full, and the actual thick fries sure look fresh. Once you are finished with you meal, you can quench your thirst with a Lego coke that seems like a mighty tasty beverage.

This is a complete Lego meal that cannot be passed up, and as mentioned before, is not calorie ridden. unfortunately, just like the Hamburger dress it also won’t satisfy your actual taste buds. If you are truly interested in a tasty burger, then the huge Burger and Fries cake is a sweet one to take a bite of.

Lego Cheeseburger Combo is Brickalicious!

One of the most talked about movies is the upcoming A-Team film that is being made, which I must admit I am extremely excited about. Now until the movie is released, in respect to the old TV show and retro 80’s style pixel images, here is a great A-Team characters artwork including BA’s famous Van made with Perler Beads.

This cool artwork by Doctor Octoroc brings the foursome back together in old styled video game pixelated graphics that is so true with that decade. It shows B.A. Baracus, Hannibal, Murdock and Face in battle ready mode and ready to take on any foe. Moreover, the infamous A Team van is also well constructed by color, shading and complete awesomeness.

I always loved the old TV show, even though the concept was repeated with every episode, and this artistic remake really brings back old memories…including NES times.

The A Team Perler Beads Art of the Van and Characters

There are many new designs and concepts coming out for the Playstation concepts, and this new one is aimed to be a PS4 Controller that is entitled Cobra controller.

Although the PS4 console doesn’t seem to be the main thing on Sony’s mind, designers have already added it top their futuristic themed project. Besides the actual future console, this cool looking Cobra PS4 game controller was designed by Jiang Qian with style and trend in mind.

The PS4 controller has fans built in that must be envisioned to help gamers who spend long hours have a little comfort by cooling their hands and drying the accrued sweat. Moreover, it seems like this controller is interested in a little ‘look at me’ design with the sleek style and the bright colors on a clean white controller.

Since it is just a concept, there aren’t any tech specs to provide, but along with the PS3 Wand concept, it is a great design we hope provides good feedback to Sony.
