In run field type regsvr32 "Path\name of file.extension" Path is directory where you placed the file on your computer Name of the file is name of your file that you want to register. and extension for example is ".dll" or ".ocx".

How To Checked Unchecked Show Hidden File

Yesterday i was attacked by virus, after i delete it with my anti virus there is something wrong with my hideen file.It won't showing. I'm affraid because i have been hiding my collage homework.I try to search what is the problem. After few hours i found it. In folder options the radio button "Show hidden files and folders" is going to unchecked again after i check it.

One problem is solving..!

But the main problem is how to make it checked..?

In my mind i think every settings is written in registry.Then i'm usng method "try and error". if wrong then try the another one.After tyring ang trying. I found the main problem.
In registry key:
"HKLM\Software\Mirosoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL"
the strng "CheckedValue" set value to 0x00000001(1).

Then the radio button "Show hidden files and folders" could be checked again.

This will allow you to bypass the Microsoft Genuine Validation thingythis method works better than many others i've tried before.

forget the cracks and injectors etc... this is the BEST WAY:

1) start > run > "regedit" (without the quotes of course)

2) go to the

key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents\OOBETimer...and doubleclick on it.

Then change some of the value data to ANYTHING ELSE...delete some, add some letters, I don't care...just change it!now close out regedit.

3) go to start > run > "%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" (again, dont type the quotes)

4) the activation screen will come up, click on register over telephone, then click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, enter in this key: JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ.

Now you can dl all the updates without activating,and the Genuine Microsoft Validation thingy won't bug you no more!!Works with most WinXP versions though ther r some exceptions...

1. Log into your Yahoo! mail with your username and password.

Lock your favorate folder without any software

Suppose you want to lock the folder games in d: which has the path D:\Games.In the same drive create a text file and type in it
(without the quotes):
"ren games games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
Now save this text file as loc.bat

Create another text file and type in it(without the quotes):
"ren games.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} games"
Now save this text file as key.bat

Now you can see 2 batch files loc and key.
Press loc and the folder games will change to control panel and you cannot view its contents.Press key and you will get back your original folder.
try it out!!!!!!!

Important note:
How to rename your text files as bat files?
Just go to my computer->tools->folder options->go to the view tab.
Now uncheck the 'Hide extensions for known file types'.
Press apply.
Now rename ur text files as bat files.

How to recover MOST of scratched CD data discs

I learn an old thecnique to how to recover damaged or scratched diskswith some lost of data. In this case i have one borrowed game - MAX PAYNE 2
with a chunck of 4 mb lost with a scratch in CD1 Install. Here we cover some
special thecniques of how to create a full working CD from the scratched one.

First some tools will be needed:

1. Alcohol 120%
2. UltraISO
3. Windows XP/2000 (not tested on 95/98/me)
3. Small piece of cotton
4. Dry cleaner paper
5. Finally, oil for cooking.

First step - preparing the CD

Get the cotton and drop some water, start cleaning vertically the surface of CD.
Do it 3 times and dry the water with a piece of dry cleaner paper. With a new piece of cotton, drop some oil for cooking and start to wet the surface like you arewashing the CD with the oil. Dry carefully now. Some particles of oil will stay on the microsurface of the scrath. It's okay. Seems the oil helps the laser of the CD/DVD driver to read the surface again. Sure this will work with small unreadable scratchs - some hardscratchs loose parts of the surface of the CD where we have data and it's lost forever.
But if it is loosed try anyway. Whith this tip 80% of the small scratched CD's coud berecovered.

Second Step - testing the CD

With Alcohol 120% make an ISO - image making wizard - and lets see if the app can read the loosed surface. In my case Alcohol 120% had recovered 60% of the data. This is not enough. Have tryed other appz, they do not recover all the data. But the CD/DVD driver laser CAN recover all data in this case. the data is still there, what we do?

Third step - making the new CD

With the main copy system of windows explorer you can do it. Just create one folderwith the same name of the CD label for future burn reference, and copy the CD content to the folder. When the CD copy process find the scratch, in majority of the cases, it's slow down the reading and will recover ALL loosed data. If not, it just tell you there's an unreadable sector. In this case your CD is lost. But it's not my case, finally windows explorer got all the data from the scratch and made a copy in the folder. with the ultraISO, wrote the original CD label, drop the content of the folder andsave as Iso. You can Test the new CD just mounting the iso in the Alcohol 120%. In mycase i did ISO of the two discs from MAX PAYNE 2 and tested installing from the mountedISO. Works like a charm. I got the 4 mb lost again. So, I have burned the CD and now i have a working copy from the scratched one.
Sounds too bizzarre, but works. Course you can jump the cleaning process and try to copy the content with Windows explorer. But in my case did not work without oil...

It is Amazing to say compressing 1GB data/move into 10MB. Really it is possible with the KGB Freeware (Open source) software. you can Down load the software fromhttp://kgbarchiver.net/?page=downloadand follow the following the steps.

Its damn simple..Heres the procedure.. you compress that data in two formats..1) KGB format2) ZIP format ..

Everyone knows the ZIP format..I tell u which is better & why..If you do it in KGB format it takes 5-6 hours on a 256 mb RAM, to compress 1 GB data/movie in less than 10 MB , but (this is not which i prefer) because to decompress you take the same time..

So its useless..

& u need KGB archiver only only for this format to decompress..

But if u do it in ZIP format it takes 6-7 hours on a 256 MB ram, but i tell u its worth because WINRAR & WINZIP both can decompress it in seconds..

OK now its clear that which format to use & which is better..

Now we'll go how to use that software..

Run the application>> It asks for which file u wanna compress>>select the file>>after u select>> you get two options in which format u want to compress it>>select ZIP format ( I prefer ) >> and then set compression level to maximum (maximum the compression level , small the size of it will be compressed)>> Just ignore the time given below it because its just useless.......

There is option that you can auto shutdown your computer after the compression is over..

SO u can got school/college/office & keep it to get compressed..

Regardless what is the type of your website/blog is, you must create a truly original content for it. Donâ€™t spend your time searching for free artilces because Adsense really donâ€™t like duplicate contents.

Another tips is let your visitors know what your website/blog offers to its visitors. Create a section for your new website visitors what they can gain by visitng your website/blog. Suggest them to comment on your entry so that they will feel they are belonging to your blog/website.

Suppose, for instance, that you're trying to find an old post of mine--say, the one about using Gmail to filter spam. One option is to head to PC World, type in a few keywords, then wade through the results in hopes of finding the post.

Or, you could save several steps and type this into your Google search bar:

Try it. You'll see that the exact post appears in the first two search results. Now, suppose you recall hearing an NPR story featuring the music of Brendan Benson. Instead of slogging through NPR's own less-than-stellar search engine, just hit Google with this:

Get the idea? Just prefix any search with site: and the domain name, making sure to leave no space after the colon.

1, Increase external USB hard drive performance.

By default, USB storage devices have write caching totally disabled primarily so you can unplug them without bothering with the Safety Remove Software icon in the Tray. Although this is handy for flash drives, it significantly slows down external USB hard drives. First, plug in your external USB drive, right-click Computer in the Start menu, and choose Properties. Then, click the Device Manager link, expand the Disk Drives entry by clicking the plus (+) sign, and double-click your external USB hard drive. Click the Policies tab and then click Optimize for Performance. This makes two more options appear: Enable Write Caching on the Disk and Enabled Advance Performance. Enable both options and click OK. Rebooting enables the change.

2, Increase SATA drive performance.

Vista's write caching is fairly conservative by default in order to prevent data loss in the event of a power failure. It your desktop PC is connected to a UPS (uninterruptable power supply), or if you're using a notebook computer with a reliable battery, you can set the write caching to be more aggressive. Right-click Computer in the Start menu, choose Properties, and then click the Device Manager link.
