in an instant blink of the moment.
Deep in yours, I see Me;
as You can see You, in mine.
We are One, looking at Oneself;
no matter whom you see,
You see no one but Yourself.
When you hate, You hate Yourself;
when you love, You love Yourself.
Be aware of how you judge others;
It is exactly how you value yourself.

One Reality, Infinite Perspective

Once there were three blind men,
trying to understand an elephant.
One felt the proboscis; he concluded that elephant is long,
like a snake.
Another touched the ear; and concluded that elephant is thin and wide,
like a giant leaf.
And yet another one held the leg; he concluded that elephant is tall and erect,
like the trunk of a coconut tree.
Three blind men debated,
each felt that he is right, and others are wrong;
they failed to see the bigger picture, the truth of an elephant.

What a pity.

Today, I have seen people from various religions,
and various belief systems,
debated on The Nature of Reality.
Each felt that one is right, and others are wrong;
they failed to understand The One, The All-Inclusive.

What a pity.

First Year’s Great Supporters

I am grateful that along my work with The Soul Sanctuary, I have met numerous people who have inspired continual development, and improvement, of this blog. Remarkable ones among them are:

Ta-Wan talks a lot on Tao and nonduality in simple, and beautiful way. I was fascinated when I found his blog “Tao Wow” almost a year ago… he was an inspiration in simplicity. You can visit his currently active blog, Daily Cup of Tao.

Shinzen has been a generous, often humorous, Karate Master who know spiritual awareness very well, a Master worth learning from. He has written a book on Karate, and owns a great blog on practical spirituality of Karate in The Broken Bokken.

C. Om writes his spiritual contemplations with down-to-earth and explanative style of article. His posts are enriching as well as common reader-friendly. You can visit his blog at What is Really Good?

Doug ‘1Yogi2Many’ McMillan has a quirky way of conveying the message of nonduality awareness. He writes with full spirit, both reflected on fairly long comments and long blog posts One among his blogs that I follow is 1Yogi2Many.

Surjit has a blog of great quotes and inspiring pictures from widely various point of views. You can visit him at Gurushabad.

Alexys Fairfield primarily looks at spirituality from the way of love, a more feminine way of looking at the Truth. She has two enriching blogs that are worth visiting, Soul Meets World and Speak The Speech.

One Year Anew

A year has passed since The Soul Sanctuary was launched. A lot of development has unfolded. And now, one year after its birth, I decided to make major improvement to The Soul Sanctuary. Those will mainly include:

Simple, minimalist design. Simplicity is bliss. After half a year of short and simple posts, now The Soul Sanctuary also uses lightweight, minimalist design and display, for less distraction and better reading experience.

Uncopyright. Possession is illusion of the mind, and also a source of suffering. Thus starting now, I let go of my ownership toward the contents of this blog. After all, I cannot lose something I never had. See About page for more info about this.

Shortlisted Links. The moment is always fresh and new. And so our links. Starting now I exclude static webpages as well as blogs that do not update in 30 days. I also sort out blogs that are not open to comments.

I hope this changes make you enjoy this blog better. Please let me know what you think about this new look–any inputs (or even critics) are welcome and highly appreciated.

The cat on our yard has
smashed and destroyed some of my mother’s plants,
left footprint all across the cars,
even clawed our hands to bleed.

We love him anyway, for,
deep inside, we realize,
he knows not what he does.

I wonder why it’s harder to have the same forgiveness,
and the same understanding,
to fellow humans.

* and to rats, flies, mosquitoes, roaches, ants, and termites :p

Enlightenment
