As regular readers will know, I thoroughly enjoy, and often quote, the work of Abraham-Hicks.
Sometimes however, hearing a new voice with a fresh perspective triggers little leaps forward in our spiritual journey.
Today I want to bring you 15 principles taught by another ‘non-physical entity’ known as Bashar.
You’ll notice an obvious parallel to Abraham, and indeed others, in what he says…

1.) Firstly, you are a non-physical consciousness that is experiencing physical reality.

2.) You were created in the image of The Creator, your essential essence is unconditional love and the experience of ecstasy is your birthright.

3.) You are here on Earth at this time because you chose to be.

4.) The highest purpose of your life is to be yourself to the best of your ability and live each moment as fully as possible.

5.) You always have free will and the freedom to choose.

6.) Anything you can imagine is possible for you to experience.

7.) You attract your life experiences through the interaction of your strongest beliefs, emotions and actions.

8.) Excitement is the physical translation of the vibrational resonance that is your true, core natural being. Follow your excitement!

9.) You are naturally abundant and your choices are always supported by Creation.

10.) There are only Four Laws in Creation:
i. You exist.
ii. The One is All and the All are One .
iii. What you put out is what you get back.
iv. Change is the only constant…
Except for the first three laws, which never change.

11.) There is actually only one moment in Creation. Everything you experience is the same moment from a different point of view.

12.) You create the past and the future from the here and now.

13.) You are an eternal being and while you may change your form, you cannot cease to exist.

14.) Everything you experience is another aspect of yourself.

15.) You are loved so unconditionally by Creation that you can even choose to believe that you are not loved.

—

If this has piqued your interest, you can read more at Bashar’s site here — http://www.bashar.org/
(I have no affiliatation whatsoever with Bashar - I just like his attitude!)

P.S.
Big Thanks to those of you who have already commented via email on my new attract weight loss program - I’ll be contacting you personally to ask if I can use your comments as testimonials.

Those of you interested in making money online will have heard the buzz about Squidoo and the benefits of having a squidoo lens.
[In simple terms, a squidoo lens is like your own free website - hosted by Squidoo.]
The content can be related to whatever niche you are in - e.g. if you sell essential oils, you might want a lens all about that topic - with links to your own products and affiliate links added so you can make even more money from related products (amazon books etc…).
A well made squidoo lens can boost your passive income very nicely.
Squidoo gets over 10 million page views each month and has a PageRank of 7!
In short - if someone googles “essential oils” - they’ll likely find the squidoo lens first. It makes sense to claim your lens URL asap before all the best ones get taken.
If you are a little unsure where to start, there’s a special offer available right now from my friend Tiffany Dow.
Tiffany will create a high quality lens for you - including all content! plus affiliate links.
[- i.e. you can decide what you'd like on the lens - or Tiff can do the whole thing for you!]
The normal price she charges is $249 for her ‘BuildMyLens’ service.
But for the next 134 days only (and you’ll see why!) you can have your very own professionally designed Squidoo Lens designed and built, including high quality content and money making affiliate links for $100.
Go check it out here.

A lecturer was explaining stress management to an audience.
He raised a glass of water and asked
‘How heavy is this glass of water?’

Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.

The lecturer replied, ‘The absolute weight doesn’t matter.
It depends on how long I try to hold it.

If I hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem.

If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my right arm.

If I hold it for a day, you’ll have to call an ambulance.

In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.’

He continued,

‘And that’s the way it is with stress.

If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later,

As the burden becomes increasingly heavy,

We won’t be able to carry on.’

‘As with the glass of water,

You have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.

When we’re refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.’

–
Thanks to Barry for sending me that little piece of inspiration.
An apt story for January with New Years Resolutions abounding…it’s one of those times of year we can be a little hard on ourselves, setting high expectations.

It’s ironic, but one of the ‘side effects’ of learning about Law of Attraction can be subsequent feelings of failure and despondency.
This may seem strange, but I’ve personally received so many emails from people at the end of their tether asking why the Law of Attraction hasn’t worked for them.

Here’s the thing.
The popular message out there talks about this very cool ‘Law of Attraction’ which can bring us unlimited riches, great relationships, and basically a wonderful life.
The most prominent teachers are those who are already leading very comfortable and seemingly ideal lifestyles. They make it all sound so easy.

But the reality is that it can be a lonely journey. You may find yourself at odds with your family or friends who tell you it’s a load of rubbish.
You try to maintain your vision and stay the course.
But nothing appears to be changing in a material sense.
At some point, a hint of desperation may creep in to your thoughts.

The message this month is to go easy on yourself.
Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
Comparing yourself to high profile LoA ‘celebs’or spending your cash on info products that promise you will attract untold wealth and success can all leave you feeling pretty low when the results don’t happen.

There’s no magic formula for success other than simply:

‘Stop forcing and start allowing’.

As Joe Vitale mentioned in last month’s interview, the divine can sometimes overrule our specific requests. The real secret is to allow whatever comes – always trusting it’s serving you in some way.

When you do that, your trust becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

It’s never about hard work or getting stressed out.
Let go of the burden of trying to get ‘results’, hand that job over to a higher power.
Release stress by focusing fully on every moment of every day.
The best way to actually get results is to enjoy what is in the now.
Paradoxically (so much is paradoxical to our normal thinking when it comes to LoA!) but paradoxically, when you stop wishing things would happen faster, and when you instead savor today, that is when wonderful changes start happening very quickly.

So relax!
Put down that glass for a while and take a break.

You might just find that, while you rest (and release that resistance!) all those good things that you wished for will start to flow into your experience….

– One of the most common New Year’s resolutions is to get in shape and lose weight.
If you’d like an easy way to lose weight permanently - without diets, slimming pills or going to the gym - then you may be interested in a brand new LoA inspired Weight Loss Program. Launching soon!

One of the undisputed greats among Law of Attraction teachers is ‘The Secret’s very own Dr. Joe Vitale.

I recently put 12 - interesting! - questions to Joe and here is what he said…

AM: What, in your opinion, is the biggest misunderstanding out there about applying the Law of Attraction?

Joe: Everyone thinks they get what they consciously think. Not so. You get what you un-consciously think. You have to clear up the beliefs in the un-conscious mind to get what you consciously prefer. This is why I wrote The Key and recorded The Missing Secret.

AM: Sometimes, people feel completely stuck and cannot see a way to get things moving - e.g. a person in a lot of debt. Is it ever possible to be backed into a corner with no options left?

Joe: You always have choice. The first choice is to decide to be happy now. You might want circumstances to change but you can accept your current reality while working to improve it. Actually, not accepting where you are is a great way to stay stuck. I say do whatever it takes to get into the flow. You’re still connected to the Divine and you are well, but you can let circumstances talk you out of it. Find a way to be grateful now.

AM: Do you believe that we always get exactly what we ask for - or do you believe there is a higher intelligence who sometimes grants our request in an unexpected way?

Joe: There is the Divine which can trump our desires. I write about this in Zero Limits and in my audios The Awakening Course. The goal is to awaken to the place where you take your intentions from inspirations; where you serve the Divine and not request it serve you.

AM: Have you ever had a ’spooky’ experience? (Spiritual/Supernatural/Miraculous).

Joe: I have had many satori experiences, where I disappear and merge with the Divine. I talk about this in The Awakening Course. When I get quiet, and relaxed, and in the flow, I can let go to the essence and more or less drop the ego, at least briefly.

AM: Do you believe in reincarnation?

Joe: Yes.

AM: Which teachings do you most identify with? (Abraham / Christianity / ho’oponopono / Bashar /etc?)

Joe: I’m a huge fan of Abraham but these days I know the Divine is more powerful than me. I’m more of a latter day Transcendentalist, following in the steps of Emerson and Thoreau, and taking my orders from the Divine.

AM: What is your current ambition?

Joe: To end homelessness. I started Operation YES to stop foreclosures and end homelessness once and for all. It’s based on improving self esteem, teaching the law of attraction, and educating people to think like an entrepreneur.

AM: What is your favorite place in the world and why?

Joe: Melbourne, Australia. Great people, great country, and my favorite Italian restaurant on the entire planet is there.

AM: What do you think your friends would say is the nicest thing about your personality?

Joe: I inspire everyone. I got the name “Mr Fire” because I’m always lighting fires under people.

AM: Do you have any strange habits or rituals?

Joe: I smoke cigars in the hot tub while talking to God.

AM: Cats or Dogs?

Joe: Five cats and one dog. I LOVE my critters.

AM: Favorite meal?

Joe: The Vitale Steak at Cedar Grove Steak House in Wimberley, Texas.

A Big Thank You to Joe for giving me his time.

I’m delighted to see that he has decided to launch a new venture aimed to bring thousands of like minded people together, leveraging the power of numbers to attract miracles.
you can check it out here:

http://www.attractmiracles.com/

All I can say is that he last time I joined an online group similar to this, I ended up with two excellent joint ventures, as well as making a huge number of new friends….many of whom signed up to my newsletter. So - whether you have a blog of your own, are actively looking for a JV partner, or simply are interested in having thousands of people backing you with your personal goal, this site is the place to be. Interestingly, it comes with an affiliate referral scheme - [ which I'm sacrificing just so as I can get the word to you guys early!]

[ and you can see a handy list of all of Dr. Vitale's most famous books right here: http://www.mrfire.com/hypnotic-products/books.html ]

PS - before I go for this month, I just have to mention an innovative new blog. It was created by an experienced partner at an executive job search firm. It is aimed at those looking to find suitable employment or move within their career. However, it takes a very different approach to what you might expect…!

Do check it out (and leave your comments).

Finally! Can I wish each and every one of you a Wonderful Holiday Season. Thank you for the support all year.

A little off my usual topic but, since I started blogging and working online, I’ve learned many lessons on everything from getting my blog set up quickly and cheaply, to growing my list, to writing e-books and getting involved in JVs.
I know many of you have websites or blogs. I’ve had requests from quite a few people over the past year asking me how I got started or how to go about building lists etc.
So, for what it’s worth, I’ve put everything down in this post and hopefully some of it may be of benefit.
(If you’re not interested in above topics - read no further.)

Here’s what I learned when I was starting out…

Getting Started - The Nuts and Bolts.

If you simply want a blog, you can get it free in a matter of seconds by going here:

http://wordpress.com/signup/

There are other options also – Wordpress is the one I use and have found meets my needs very well.
Regards a static website and web hosting, there are plenty of providers all offering different levels of quality, service and cost. Feel free to investigate for yourself.
One clear winner providing top notch professional service, excellent quality and one of the lowest cost packages you’ll find is Blue Host.
Even if you already have a domain or website in place- they can still offer you cheaper hosting or help you seamlessly move over to a full Blue Host package deal.

Once you’ve got the basics in place, it’s time to move on to the next step…

Start Blogging and Building Traffic to your Site.

In my opinion, the best guide to blogging out there is Yaro Starrak’s Free Report:
Yaro explains in simple steps how you can get started blogging and bringing lots of traffic to your site. What I loved about Yaro’s approach is that he is quite analytical in what he does. If something works, he compares it to other efforts and ranks its effectiveness. The result is you get a very nice list of the best (and easiest) ways to get traffic to your site and continually grow your list.
This free report can save you a LOT of wasted time and effort.

blog mastermind report

Another method of pulling traffic is using the power of articles on StumbleUpon.
This especially suits those who are strong on article writing. The steps are explained to you in Free Lessons here:

Stumble Upon Traffic Rush

And finally….
Now that you’ve become a blogger and grown your readership, you may want to start making an income from your efforts and time.

There are 3 recognized ways you can make money online.

Listed roughly in order of potential, these are:

1.	Publishing your own E-books or Downloadable Reports.
2.	Affiliate Selling.
3.	Ads on your site.

Taking each in turn:

1.	Publishing your own E-books or Downloadable Reports.
If you have an idea for an ebook, or have the ebook partially or fully written but aren’t quite sure where to start with getting it ‘out there’, here is one excellent guide that will answer all your questions. It’s called ‘Building an E-Book Empire’ by Tiffany Dow.
Not only does it answer all your questions, but this e-book will actually save you a lot of money by listing the sneaky, (often free) ways of getting your e-book done and out there.
Tiffany reveals secrets and tricks not commonly found online.
Without a shadow of doubt, this is the single best guide I have ever read on making money from e-books. I have actually read quite a few – and this wins hands down.
Take a peak and download a free chapter here:

Building an E-Book Empire

(Be advised that Tiffany focuses on the publication, marketing and sales of your ebook. If you are looking for a step by step guide to actually writing your ebook, you may want to look at a different option.
One of my favorite authors is Dr Joe Vitale.
Joe teamed up with an expert in ebook marketing, Jim Edwards.
Between them, they created a book that promises to help you write an ebook in 7 days!
My personal opinion, having read the book, is that 7 days is a bit optimistic. But certainly, 7 weeks start to finish is very achievable if you follow the steps outlined.

How to Write an E-Book in 7 Days

2.	Affiliate Selling.

In the world of affiliate selling online, of course there is Clickbank!

Simply go to Clickbank, sign up and research products that are suited to your niche, check out conversion rates, refund rates and if possible independent reviews.
When you are satisfied that you have found a really good product, best route is to buy it yourself and then write a thoughtful and interesting review saying what you got from the product. In this way, you have both your own credibility and also the power of their sales page to convert sales.
You get typical affiliate payouts of 50% so it’s not to be overlooked.
There are lots of other affiliate options, but to be able to start selling straight away, and for sheer variety and choice of products, it’s hard to beat Clickbank.

Speaking of it being “hard to beat Clickbank”….!

Here is an affiliate model that has caught on fast at my side of the Atlantic in the UK.
The model is called Info Product Killer.
And the whole idea behind it is this:
If you compare ‘Information Products’ (like what’s typically offered on clickbank, ebooks etc..) with ‘Real Products’ such as books on Amazon.com and products from other recognized and trusted sellers, the comparison will show that WAY more people buy ‘Real Products’ from trusted sellers.

Pretty obvious statement really!

However, it is very easy to get caught up in the hype of Clickbank affiliate selling.
But why limit yourself to Info Products?
Why not set yourself up to sell Real Products, leveraging from the giants like Amazon?
How would you go about doing this and making real money on time for Christmas 2008?

It’s explained further here:

Info Product Killer

Given all the scams out there, here is undeniably a very legitimate way to make ‘real money’ online - selling ‘real stuff’!

If it’s your thing, go for it.

(and it’s backed up with a full 60 day refund guarantee).

3.	Ads on your site.

I don’t know of anybody who makes more than a few dollars a week using this.
On the plus side however!
It’s very low cost – or often free. You can very quickly and easily get something like adsense running on your site and generating some cash for you with absolutely no work on your part other than a few minutes to set up.
Check out Google’s adsense here:

https://www.google.com/adsense/login/en_US/

More on advertising is to be found in Yaro’s Report that I mentioned already.

In addition to the above, here are my own Top 6 Tips on blogging successfully.

Quality over Quantity!
If you write high quality articles, people will return again and again to your site and you will establish a strong reputation and a steady readership.
Put yourself in the shoes of your readers, would you keep going back to a site offering what you offer?

Be Generous.
What this means is that your primary focus is on helping others through your information.
When you write in this way – you build reader loyalty and trust and your integrity shines through VERY clearly.
On the flipside, if you’re always looking for a way to extract a few dollars from your readers, this is a huge turnoff and counter effective.

Get Chatting.
A great way to attract traffic is simply to join forums in your niche and get involved with the discussions. Always use a link to your own website in your signature. Over time, as people get to know you and like what you say, they will check you out at your own site.
Similarly, leave comments on other blogs, again with your website included.

Joint Ventures.
If you have an idea that you feel confident enough to approach somebody high profile with, then this can be a fast track way to building traffic and getting well known very quickly.
My advice is to think in terms of what’s in it for the person you are approaching. If you choose somebody successful and high profile, they are likely to be quite busy. So don’t go with some half-baked plan asking their opinion.
Instead, take the time to prep your idea (e.g. you may have an ebook and request somebody well known to write the foreword, or you may have a more ambitious JV idea..in which case you should present it like a business plan).
Most will respond favorably to a politely written and well presented idea.
In fact, you may be surprised at how easy a high profile JV can be to initiate. As long as you have a genuinely good idea and are willing to put in the work.
The result, of course, is a real ‘heavyweight’ promotion of your product and your site!

Reciprocal Links.
Work to get links from other sites to yours. You can do this by creating a link directory on your site and offer your visitors a reciprocal links to your site for adding a link to yours on theirs.

Article Submission.
If you can pen a decent article, it is well worth submitting articles to article directory sites who will then publish them and allow others to use your article – complete with your credentials at the end. The nice thing is once you put the article out there, it continues to work for you over and over again.
I use ezinearticles.com

And that’s all I can think of for now…

Hopefully some of this will be helpful to those of you already with online enterprises or thinking of starting.
As always, I welcome feedback and if you have any additions, feel free to add a comment to this post.

Til next time,

I’ve had questions from quite a few of you following my ‘LoA Formula’ article. The questions were all around the same thing.
How do you know if you are offering ‘resistant thoughts’?
Is there a way of knowing that you have handed over your request successfully?
As a matter of fact, yes, there is.

Probably the best answer I’ve come across is given in a book called ‘The Grand Design Vol 3’. (’The Grand Design’ is a series of 5 books written by author Patrick Francis channeling ‘Shebaka’ - first published in the early nineties, they contain huge parallels to the Abraham Hicks writings.)
Here, with thanks to the author, is the advice given on ‘handing over’ our requests.

************************************

In the ‘handing over’ process, ask yourself:

1.	Are you looking for a specified outcome?

2.	Are you looking for an outcome within a particular time limit?

3.	Are you saying to yourself that because you’ve been doing everything ‘right’ that life owes you what you would consider a favorable outcome?

4.	Are you stipulating that you won’t be able to get on with your work of, say, service to humanity unless your situation changes in a particular way?

5.	Are you leaving the outcome completely open, knowing that whatever it is, it will bring the best possible solution to your situation in a way which you will find not only enjoyable but better than anything you could have envisaged?

If your answers to all or any of questions 1 – 4 above are yes, then you know that the process is still conditional as far as you are concerned.
If you can give a positive answer to q.5, then your handing over is unconditional.

So, then you have handed over (or ‘turned over’ if you like) unconditionally. What next?
You still have to go on living your life. How does the solution happen?
You are, of course, a participant in the emergence of a solution. You literally ‘go with the flow’, follow your feelings, do whatever feels best to you, constantly reminding yourself of your unconditional handing over of the situation. Life is never stagnant. There’s nothing passive about the handing over process. It means aligning yourself with all the evolved energy of the universe in fulfilling your life purpose.

************************************

A simple message - but a key one to grasp.
Law of Attraction stripped back to the basics.

Did you know there is a simple formula that can predict what result Law of Attraction will deliver?

Here it is:

Your result = amount of desire / amount of resistant thought.

This was nicely explained in an Abraham-Hicks session taking place on an Alaskan cruise. One of the people asking questions of Abraham mentioned that he so wanted to see a whale on that cruise, but had so far not seen one. He wondered why that was, given he had such a strong desire to see a whale.

Another lady came up shortly after. She said she had seen whales numerous times on the cruise.

Abraham asked why she thought it might be that the first guy - who really wanted to see even one whale - had seen none.

Yet, this lady (who didn’t particular care either way) was seeing them almost every time she looked into the water.

The lady responded that it might be because she got to see whales often in her day to day life. In other words, seeing a whale was no big deal - and so she didn’t offer any resistant thought.

Abraham used this real life example to make a very important point.

The likelihood of you bringing into your existence a particular thing is dependent upon two factors:

(i.) Your desire to have it.

(ii.) Your resistance to letting it in.

If you really, really desire it, then you are certainly setting the manifestation in motion.

But, if you continue to believe (deep down) that it’s unlikely. Then you are resisting it.

And, just like the guy who wanted to see a whale but couldn’t, you will be held apart because you’re the one making a big deal of it.

Have you noticed that many people who have great relationships, fabulous homes or wealthy lifestyles often seem to do it effortlessly?

There are lots of very wealthy people who care very little for material things. Yet, they have accumulated wealth easily nonetheless.

Why do you think this is?

Look again at the formula.

Your result = amount of desire / amount of resistant thought.

Even where desire say, for wealth, is not that high, if resistance to it is low - in other words, if the person is relaxed about their financial status, never worrying about bills or income. Then, the way is clear for money to come.

Now, what if desire is high but resistance even higher?

i.e. you really want money, but you keep noticing that you don’t have it and cannot imagine how it could realistically manifest.

Well, this time we’ll give a score out of ten for each factor.

Result = Desire (8) / Resistance (10)

>> Result = 0.8

Less than 1.

Ain’t gonna happen!

Keeping desire high and/or resistance low is key!

(This is why we frequently manifest what we don’t feel so passionate about but equally are offering little resistance to.)

Here are 3 simple tips on managing resistance.

Most important is to be AWARE of resistant thought. It’s easy, resistant thought feels bad. When you think about some desire and find it leaves you feeling frustrated or down, then you have resistant thought. Instead of trying to zap it all at once, try to work your way up the scale. Find a less resistant thought. Over a short time, this WILL bring results.

Very often, the resistant thought is all coming from the ‘how’ part. In other words, you think it won’t happen because YOU cannot see a way. This is a bit like trying to force something big through a tiny opening. There are many more openings for good things to come to you that you have not even thought of. Let law of attraction find the best opening. This is such a simple thing to learn and when you get used to leaving the ‘how’ part to greater powers, you’ll feel such a relief that all you have to do is ask. Then stop resisting (i.e. stop figuring out the how!) and simply receive!

Finally, do notice when you are becoming too caught up in something that hasn’t yet happened. Take a timeout and focus on something else entirely for a while. Allow the swell of resistance to simmer down. Timeouts can help you reset your thoughts and work far better than struggling on.

Interestingly, if you can get your resistance right down to zero, the result of this LoA formula approaches infinity….

PS - I’ve been reading a great new book on Law of Attraction sent to me by Jonathan Manske. It’s called ‘The Law of Attraction Made Simple’. If you’re the type who prefers using the best tools and tips to get fast results — rather than wading through endless text! – then you’ll love this book. Jonathan starts by explaining in amazing clarity how Law of Attraction works. He goes on to introduce techniques that you can learn and then immediately apply. (I enjoyed his clearly explained EFT section, as it was something I’d been wanting learn more about. The ‘Sand Technique’ is amazingly powerful, I’ve been using it since I read the book!). Jonathan also recommends my Smart Attractor website which is cool! I loved this book - if you’d like to find out more, or read some of his free material online, just pop over to Jonathan’s site:

I haven’t got my hands on it yet - but, his first edition was a true classic in the field. This 2nd edition has even more useful ‘hands-on’ type material. [Plus I'm in there somewhere so it's just got to be good!]

Abraham Hicks speaks regularly of the importance of aligning ourselves with Source to bring about the manifestation of our desires.

So, is there a way we can close the gap and ‘become source’?

To, even temporarily, cast off the distractions of physical life, and see through the eyes of source?

Well, here’s a technique that doesn’t require years of meditation or any other qualifications. You can try this straight away, and see what happens!

The technique of stepping into source is called ‘Witness Consciousness’.

Witness consciousness is the process of watching the internal drama without getting sucked in by it. It is a moment by moment experience of being “outside” of your self looking in.

With this perspective, you can move from ‘being’ your moment to moment worries and desires, to ‘having’ your moment to moment worries and desires.

i.e. Instead of ‘being worried’, you notice that you are ‘experiencing a worrying feeling’.

Having the power of this perspective puts you in control of your feelings, and to quote Abraham - “How you feel is everything!”

So, how do you apply Witness Consciousness?

Well, to take an analogy, say you become engrossed in a TV drama, as you watch it, you are simultaneously feeling the emotions it evokes, while witnessing the fact that you are feeling like that, in other words, you have the power to easily step back out of the drama into reality at any time.

In the same way, by applying witness consciousness to your own real life drama, you give yourself that dual perspective. You will be able to feel what’s happening on the level of personally being part of the drama, but also be able to observe your emotional reaction from the outside.

If you have difficulty doing this, try seeing yourself as a neutral observer of your life. Your job is to take note of what thoughts and emotions are swimming through your mind. You must do this without getting caught up in them.

To get started, it’s easier to try out witness consciousness at times when you are not feeling an extreme emotion, as it takes practice to rise above those feelings.

The simplest method is to ask yourself at various points throughout your day, how am I feeling now, and why?

Perhaps you are nervously about to make a presentation to a group of people. By stepping into W/C, you can see your own nervousness as a temporary, insignificant and passing thought pattern. You can see that it will likely give way to enjoyment as the presentation begins to a sense of satisfaction when it’s done. You can see this through the eyes of witness consciousness because you’re completely detached from the feeling instead of ‘being the feeling’. Of course, if you do this, the result will be that the physical you will feel relieved and more at peace because you have bridged the gap between you and source.

Fact: The more often you can practice W/C, the more peace of mind and relief you will feel.

Try to get into the habit of applying W/C regularly, using little triggers, perhaps an interruption, a loud noise that breaks your concentration or make it a regular practice as you drive to work each day. The trick is to step out of yourself while simultaneously living out your experiences.

If you can ‘get’ the idea of W/C and apply it often, then you’ve added a very powerful tool to your toolbox.

Remember, negative thoughts are simply obstacles that come between you and your desires.

By using W/C, you have a trick up your sleeve to immediately zap the negative feelings. From the perspective of source you calmly cancel their power over you by labeling them as passing and meaningless.

The practice of W/C can become more and more profound as you get better at it. When you step out of yourself into source, all the complications of who you believe yourself to be are taken away. While in this state, you have no personal identity, you rest simply as awareness itself.

All of that top layer, superficial, personality clutter is cleared to become just a white light of pure positive energy.

You no longer have a name, or a physical limitation, you weigh nothing, you simply are.

This brings incredible peace and bliss, even if only practiced once a day.

In terms of lining up with source and achieving true success in using the law of attraction, it is probably one of the most powerful things you can do.

”What matters most: Closing the gap and coming into alignment with who you really are!”

– Have you tried this technique??

– I’d love to hear your comments and feedback!

You may feel that some of these questions cannot be related to the Law of Attraction but, in fact, what these questions are testing is just how much of your thought energy is being diverted to unproductive and even self-sabotaging thought patterns.

This is an interesting question as it’s not checking how sociable you are – it’s really asking whether you have deeply buried ‘issues’ that you don’t want to think about. By keeping busy and distracted, you can always push away the uncomfortable thoughts. A healthy balance is to have times when you seek out company as well as times when you enjoy the solitude.

Do you feel jealous or envious of others who may be financially better off than you?

The root of envy is our ingrained fear that we are somehow not worthy or deserving of the same abundance that others enjoy. Therefore, seeing examples of success and abundance sparks feelings of jealousy within us. If instead, we can see others’ success as proof - if we needed it - that ‘success happens!’.

It is simply a state of mind – shared by all who are truly wealthy and loving it – which is an ‘acceptance of wealth’. This means, simply, that the lifestyle and trappings of wealth are accepted as being deserved and normal. That person has made the mould in their mind, as Robert Collier put it, which corresponds with wealth. There’s no guilt, there’s no incredulity that life could be so good to you – and no beating oneself up as being undeserving.

It also helps to remember that we are already wealthy - ( statistically, if you are sitting in front of a computer screen you are near the top of the wealth pile on the planet!) – don’t exaggerate the gap between what you perceive as abundance and where you already are. Instead, find ways to bridge the gap.

Do you find yourself frustratingly at loggerheads with those who have views very different to your own?

The phrase ‘unconditional love’ gets bandied about a lot these days. It can be taken to mean a few things, but if you distill it right down, here’s what it means:

You love life and the universe unconditionally, such that you are happy just to be alive.

You love yourself unconditionally, such that that a hurtful remark, or a ‘failure’ along the way doesn’t bother you.

You love others unconditionally, such that that whatever they say or do, you can allow for it freely without feeling threatened.

This is key when it comes to our interactions with others. In fact, there is a big difference between ‘tolerating’ and simply ‘freely allowing’. When you love life and all its diversity and when you feel happy and at peace in yourself, the need to impose your will upon others will disappear and you will not only tolerate but freely allow, and even enjoy, all the diversity of creation.

Stressed?

Do you feel stressed or do you worry so much that it keeps you awake at night?

Stress is a normal part of life. In fact, if we didn’t have what’s known as a healthy level of stress, we’d be miserable and bored! However, too much stress and worry is a limiting factor in your life. In turn, you cannot truly be giving out a harmonious vibration.

The root of stress is almost always a tendency to take on too much and getting weighed down by the responsibility. There is typically a feeling of being ‘not in control’ of your circumstances.

Instead, make the mind shift to accepting that what you perceive as stressful circumstances ‘out there’ are actually all emanating from you, then you can get back in control.

In ho’oponopono teaching, we are reminded that we create our physical reality and accordingly, we are responsible for changing it. When you see something you perceive as negative and want to change, there is great power in ‘cleaning’ your thoughts by repeating:

“I’m sorry, Please forgive me, Thank You, I Love You.”

In cleaning your thoughts, you are cleaning your reality – it’s that simple!

Just saying those words, directing the sentiment to the divine, creates an impact.

In saying “I’m sorry.” You drop your need for pretence that everything you have created is perfect. It’s quite liberating.

In saying “Please forgive me” You can sense the forgiveness being willingly granted and the burden of guilt lifted.

In saying “Thank you” there’s a reminder of all that is good in your life.

One common factor that can hold us back, is a fear of others’ reactions. Whereas, others amongst us are happy to live and let live, without passing judgement.

Where on that scale do you come?

Holding extremely strong views – on anything in existence – has the effect simply of narrowing down our vista on the world.

In addition, holding that rigid stance in our minds can cause us to literally discount opportunities that the universe puts our way. Perhaps, we refuse an offer of business partnership because we do not agree with the other person’s political views, or we won’t listen to an alternative way of dealing with some obstacle, because we don’t like the guy offering the advice etc… This category can even extend to phobias such as flying, or fear of open spaces, confinement etc…

All of these are ultimately beliefs that we are controlled by. The more of these internal beliefs we hold, the more controlled we are.

Open up to new alternatives and the opportunities will become a lot clearer.

Do you ever have feelings of resentment, anger or even hatred toward another or others?

Of all the clutter in our minds, the one thing that can most easily trigger an auto-pilot reaction is anger or feeling resentment toward another.

Typically we only have to hear the name, or see the person on the street, and we’re off! Emotion runs high and we waste our brain power thinking about that person.

For the Law of Attraction to bring about our wishes – the two pre-requisites to manifesting are belief and highly-charged desire.

Clearly, when we are caught up in emotive feelings of resentment toward another, our desire emotion morphs into a self-sabotaging anger type feeling.

This gets us nowhere, and spoils our harmonious vibes that we want to send out.

Remember what you get put is what you get back.

Next time you get that trigger, ask yourself, ‘is this the feeling I want to keep re-manifesting?’

If not, then it is up to you to break the cycle.

Missing the ‘Now’ - Living in the past or in the future.

Do you spend a large portion of your time thinking about your past or worrying about / wishing for the future?

One unfortunate side-effect of trying to utilize the Law of Attraction is the tendency to think ahead. We set an intention, and then, fall into the trap of wishing it would hurry up and happen!

The real secret is to make an intention, then forget about it and get on with enjoying life.

It is about demonstrating faith in the process. If we continually notice that what we asked for isn’t here yet, we effectively keep pushing it away. Likewise, a tendency to dwell in the past, perhaps regretting poor financial decisions or relationships that went badly, will only generate more of the same. As in the previous question, always remember that what you put out is what you get back.

Wishful thinking for a better future will keep you wishful thinking for a better future, regretting the past will keep recreating more things to regret.

It is up to you to break the cycle.

Feeling Separated from divine consciousness?

Do you feel like you are somehow connected to a higher/divine consciousness?

Finally, we come to ‘what lies beneath’!

The Law of Attraction did not somehow accidentally come to exist in our universe.

Like everything else that exists, it is part of a perfectly designed environment in which we live out our physical experiences.

Therefore, all of this perfection must have been created by a God of some sort. It is worth pondering upon what you truly believe in a religious or even purely philosophical sense.

Get in touch with the divine and feel your oneness.

The Law of Attraction hinges on faith. That is the part most of us cannot quite get our heads around. The most worthwhile exercise for any of us is to build that faith.

The more ‘connected’ we feel, the more easily our faith will come.

A good test of your faith is in how you approach the process. Do you feel as though you are asking something or someone outside of yourself?

Do you feel like you are practicing a ‘law’ that somehow exists in a vacuum?

Or do you feel a part of everything and, accordingly, a part of the law of attraction.

Remember the power is in you, never outside of you.

But you must redefine ‘you’ to know your own divine power.

Go for it!

The Cat’s Diary

Day 983 of my captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates my capabilities. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a “good little hunter” I am. Evil People!!

Day 984 of my captivity.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of “allergies.” I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Day 985 of my captivity.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow, but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released, and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.

The bird must be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now……
