Ireland, 1966.

A skipper sails into Dingle bay with a very unusual catch. What follows is a ridiculous series of events involving Eamon De Valera, Queen Elizabeth, and a surprising amount of nuns.

An unbelievable true story built from interviews, Catch of the Day is a raucous and little-bit-political play with live trad music, all set in a pub. This “side-splittingly funny” (The Irish Post) show has been teaching audiences about Anglo-Irish relations in very silly ways since 2018.

See the New York premiere of Timothy Takach’s new choral and orchestral masterwork, We Are Phoenix, a thought-provoking piece that draws on the connection between earth and humanity and how that relationship is continuously tested and reborn, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Learn more about We Are Phoenix: https://timothyctakach.com/phoenix

But that’s just the start. Witness the subtle elegance of Sir John Rutter’s Requiem, a stirring meditation on death written in dedication to Rutter’s late father. The renowned piece offers a deviation from traditional Requiems: intimate rather than grandiose, contemplative rather than dramatic. The Youth Series Choir will open the program with a series of short works, setting the scene for the evening of music to come.

All that and more for $14 for skint subscribers!

Use code CLB53914 today to access $14 tickets.
