Thai Movie: Ong Bak 3

Synopsis

The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda's Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang). Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers. Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve 'Nathayut'. His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King's Guard (Supakorn 'Tok' Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.

I must say it look like Saw series from American since there are traps and find-your-way-out-without-dying scenes. And for the first time, it will be in 3D version of real terror, hopefully they know what they are doing since i hate watching with glasses.

"Marine Boy" tells the story of a former swimming athlete (played by Kim Kang-woo) desperately in debt and because of this, becomes employed as a "body packing" drug mule by a heartless drug lord (played by Jae-hyeon Jo). After swallowing a 10-meter-long drug package, "marine boy" must swim across waters between Korea and Japan. Among the many things that beckon death, an alluring beauty (played by Si-yeon Park) tries to seduce him.

I saw this movie already and i must said it got everything to be a great thriller. The plot have many twists.

I like original and intelligent movie, this one should catch everyone's attention since it related on scaming the stock marketers.

Synopsis

We have a great trio Hong Kong actors in this thriller so just hope it will live up to the hype.

After Tokyo Gore Police, i must said this director is very talented to make such great FX visual effects. But i don't know why it's always involve school girls in every movie he made. The trailer is extremely explicite violence and ultra bloody, watch as your own risks.

Synopsis

In a calm and peaceful mountain village Sameri where there has not been a crime for years, the community’s headman dreams about developing the village to bring an economic boost to the town. One day a terribly mutilated dead body is discovered in the grove of the new development and as the news break the entire village descends into a panic. Upon investigation it’s confirmed that the victim, a young girl was murdered and attacked by a cannibalistic wild boar. The villager’s call for the project to be closed but the headman greedy for money ignores the pleas and pushes the project ahead. Soon CHAW attacks again and terrorizes the entire town.

After The Host, we get CHAW, a bone-chilling horror about a wild boar that eat humans.

From the fight scenes we got in the trailer, there no doubts this is a Tony Jaa-clone movie. Hopefully, there are something more than that or this one will be forget in no time compare to Ong-Bak or Tom Yum Goong.

Kyoichi Kagenuma, the Nightmare Detective is a man cursed with the ability to enter someone else’s dreams. Kyoichi tells her that it is too risky to enter someone’s dreams and that he has quit being a Nightmare Detective. But Yukie insists that she will die if she goes to sleep, and will not leave his side. She refuses to listen to Kyoichi and begins to explain what happened to cause her nightmares.

The whole thing started out as a prank. Yukie and her friends, Mutsumi and Akiko locked their classmate Kikukawa in an equipment room in the gym, to scare her. Though they let her out in the end, Kikukawa stopped coming to school the following day. Yukie began to have nightmares about Kikukawa. In the dream Kikukawa stood with her back to Yukie and her friends in a huge gymnasium, her hands shaking uncontrollably and exuding a nightmare menace. Yukie wanted to leave, but the only way out was past Kikukawa. Kikukawa ran towards her, suddenly turned around, and threw a cup of water at Yukie, which landed on her friend Mutsumi. When Yukie woke up in class she found that Mutsumi had died of a heart attack.

A few days after her death, Yukie has the same dream, but this time, it is her other friend, Akiko who gets the water thrown at her, and the following day, she too dies an unnatural death. Yukie is convinced that she will be the next to die. Shaking with fear, and fighting the urge to sleep, Yukie begs Kyoichi to help her. When he hears her story, he realizes that Kikukawa’s behavior reminds him of his own mother who was scared of everything and eventually committed suicide. Thinking that he may be able to get a step closer to the mystery of his mother’s death, he enters Yukie’s nightmares, to confront the very nature of fear itself.

Synopsis

In the early 1990s, a tractor mechanic from China nicknamed Steelhead (Jackie Chan) enters Japan illegally, in search of his girlfriend Xiu Xiu (Xu Jinglei). When Steelhead finds out that Xiu Xiu has married a Japanese Yakuza leader named Eguchi (Ken Watanabe), he decides to remain in Japan. To obtain citizenship, he agrees to work for Eguchi as a killer, but quickly becomes used to the power.
