MLG: For those of you who have no idea, of what I’m talking about, it stands for Major League Gaming. It’s a competition of pro gamers that has been held in the US of A since 2002. Last week-end it was held on Florida on the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando. I had the luck of being in Florida at the moment, and a friend who wanted to go.

Now I do play Starcraft, the original one, but I have never seen anyone play like this. I had heard that the Koreans play really fast, but you don’t believe it until you see it. I attended on Sunday, the day of the finals; because I figured that the best games would be that day. I was not wrong. Now I don’t really know the names of the teams, because I’m new to the whole Pro-Gaming thing, but the player I did see impressed me. On the losing ladder the Canadian player Idra, was the only Zerg player to reach the play offs, but he lost to DSTC, Protoss player, who then lost to MC, another Protoss player of the same team. On the winning ladder Huk was the champ, and now was waiting for the losing ladder champ to play against him.

Huk, a Canadian, played against MC, a Korean, and both are Protoss players. Now the final I had to stream it cause my friend had to leave early, but it was worth it. In like 15 minutes Huk had defeated MC three times. I was shocked. 15 more minutes and Huk had defeated MC again in a roaring rampage, crowning him champion. Huk became the first non-Korean to win since Korea started competing, and the first player to win for the second time.

I, probably, will never be as good as these guys. I did learn quite a few strategies and will definitely start following the scene more closely. Shame that the last tournament of the year will be in Rhode Island.

Yep, and she’s back with a vengeance! If you all remember the awful song that came out  a few months ago that triggered a mass ranting by millions of people about how music would never be the same and everything sucks, among many many other things. I know, I was one of them.

Is ok if you want to hate on the song, but don’t be so freaking melodramatic about it. She doesn’t have to die, you haven’t wasted 3 minutes of your life — which I think you waste many more on Facebook –. The childish acting by many people is the reason why this girl is so famous.

However,  I do got to give this girl some props. Even with all the hating, she continued working towards her dream. But it’s because I think she figured out the formula for now becoming famous. Make a shocker! That’s what she did, by placing that horrible video of a horrible — and too catchy of a  song — and people hating on her made her even more famous.

And guess what.. the more you hate… the more fame she will get.

Anyways, here’s my little gift to you and if you get pissed off by it, oh well it shouldn’t really affect you because is just a song.

I’ll be honest, this is definitely an improvement over Friday. As long as everyone keeps hating, she’s going to keep getting more famous….What do YOU think?

We’ve all loved Harry Potter since the minute that movie set on the screen of that movie theater we all love to go to. Till this day we have crazy fans all over the place talking about Harry Potter, dressing up being nerds like harry potter… Literally one of my friends dressed up for the premier of this movie, he had the wand and everything…and the cloak, yea -.-’.

Anyhow this movie I’m speaking of is the one that’s in the title…Duh. But I will not deny, this movie was by far the most spectacular movie of all time. Needless to say there was actually comedy in it, even though they were in very intense parts. There also was a beautiful moment between harry’s mother and harry. Yes I’m a grown up but I almost cried. The best part that I loved in this movie was the conclusion. I will not spoil it for you but I am telling you this. Get up off that chair and go watch it because it will be worth the cash you will be spending.

I will always be a fan of Harry Potter and I will most Definitely pass on to my kids this movie. Trust me I bet you five dollars that if in the future when you have kids, this movie will still be as popular as it is now, or at least decently popular. Now go out there and watch that movie .

So apparently there is a new dress out there that can be made from something that is always used in your bathroom. I hereby declare a new and interesting design called: The Toilet Paper Dress. Apparently this is some kind of contest and it is encouraging woman to go to the bathroom and design their own dress…out of toilet paper. I’m amazed this isn’t some kind of contest made up by Lady Gaga. Well I’d expect Lady Gaga to end up wearing this kind of dress to some kind of award or one of her own concerts. They’re actually quite pretty, but I would never wear one to my own wedding.

I suppose when  you go to the bathroom you will get inspired while your doing  your necessities. That’s when you will go “YES!! I have been inspired and this is how my wedding dress will look like! ”. I don’t know why they’re saying its one of the coolest contests, but they can certainly entertain themselves. Lets just hope that none of these dresses have mysterious stains. That would be big no no and would most definitely get you eliminated. You would also be embarrassed as well.

OH MY GOSH! STOP THE PRESSES! Say it ain’t so?! Casey Anthony…not guilty? How could this possibly be? How could the system be so stupid? Now you can kill your own child and get away with it?!

Those were the questions and thoughts going through everyone’s mind yesterday when the verdict was reached at 2:15pm (July 5, 2011) in the case against Casey Anthony for first degree murder on her daughter among other charges.

However, here’s my opinion. As sad and as bad as you want Casey to go to jail and be guilty of first degree murder, the problem is that there was no hard evidence that linked her directly to that poor child’s death.  The prosecution failed to prove that. It ain’t the system’s fault, but the defense had a better case protecting her than the prosecution had involving her directly with the death of that child. So the jury had no other choice but to say Not Guilty. Because, what if she didn’t actually do it and would have been given the death penalty? Then years from now, they find out who the real killer is? That’s two innocent people that have died. The only way you can judge on what happened if  you were in those juror seats for all those days listening to every detail of this tragic story.

Now, could she have done it? Maybe… is she innocent? Possibly, who knows. That’s the sad part. We don’t know for sure, because we weren’t there when the events occurred.  So if she didn’t do it, why don’t we focus on trying to find out who the hell did it? Or maybe remember that little girl by showing affection somewhere else like: donating toys to other children in need, etc.

You think because Casey Anthony is just going to walk and live a happy life ever after? You think WRONG. She won’t. With the outrage that this has caused and the media attention that this case has gotten all over the nation Casey will never have a peaceful life, no matter where she goes. That woman will forever live as the woman who got away with murder. Or the OJ Simpson of 2011.

A week ago, I sat down to enjoy what I thought was a kids animated movie. However, I did not expected to witness a political movie about overthrowing a government.

Rango, starring Johnny Depp, is a movie about a chameleon that gets stranded in the middle of the highway when his owners run over a crossing armadillo. Given only one direction Rango heads to find the nearest town in hopes that he could get reunited with his family. However, in the nearest town he takes the opportunity to reinvent who he is. Invents a story of being a sheriff on the far west, but what he didn’t know is  that the lie was going to come back to haunt him.

That may be the story of the movie, but it’s much more than that. This story goes political, when we learn about the town running out on their water reserve. Also, we also learn whoever controls the water, controls the town. Now there’s something fishy going on here…

So in terms of analyzing all this amazing data, we can concur that water = oil. The town’s mayor, is the government. And the investors are all the lobbyists that pay and control the government.

Overall, the movie was entertaining and the acting was surperb across the board. Here’s  a scene from the movie:

Imagine taking a pill that will allow you access 100% of your brain functions. Would you take it? Or would you prefer to continue living life normally and finding out stuff on your own at your own pace?

These are the questions in life we make ourselves everyday…or at least it sounds more dramatic when you put it that way. That’s what the whole movie Limitless is about. The movie tells the story of a writer going through a horrible (and I mean horrible) case of “writer’s block”. The problem is that the “writer’s block” is affecting his life, hygiene, and everything else. He looks just like a homeless person or even a drug addict.

However, this is when a friend comes in to the rescue and offers him a pill that will let him access all of the different parts of the brain and be able to access all the different types of information he has stored over the years. Even the information he didn’t think he paid enough attention to. However, is it all worth it? Eddie Morra, played by Bradley Cooper, then becomes the target of something much bigger. His life is now at stake. However, he did not cared as he now had the power over the pill and with it, was able to be ahead of everybody’s game. However, what if it is the pill that he has to worry about and not the people?

Overall, the movie is really entertaining. With great acting by Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro, this movie was sure a treat. However, the movie falls in many cases with plot-holes and weird camera editing that if you are prone to motion sickness, you should look away at these scenes. Also, the movie tried to imitate way, too much the style of Inception. Not because it was in a dream or anything, I’m talking about the style of the movie. To keep you guessing or to keep you wanting more. But in the end you realize that it tried too much and thus failed at creating that emotion.

All I have to say is wao… what do you have to say?

Don’t let the title mislead you as the title could have a double meaning. Take hot chicks, awesome special effects, action with a soundtrack to die for, and what do you get? The Perfect Movie for Men. However, is it truly the perfect movie? Well that question is still running on my mind since I saw the movie.

Sucker Punch tells the story of a girl who is instituted in a house for mental patients after an accident that led to the death of her sister. In order for her to cope with her emotions, she must find her inner peace and freedom. To do this, she creates her own little world, in which, she becomes this super hero in search for freedom.

To simply explain my feelings, I am right now in a Love/Hate relationship with this movie. Why? I really can’t say whether I liked this movie or if I completely hated it. So in order for me to find my inner peace, I’m gonna explain why I hated it and why I loved it. You make the final judgements and the decision to see it or not.

Why I Loved it!

I loved the movie because of the hot girls (I’m a guy, so…), the action,  the special effects and part of the story. The acting was superb by everyone (yes even by Vanessa Hudgens…). The special effects cannot be badly judged as they were incredible and really gave the film a complete different look and feeling. The action sequences spoke for themselves; I found myself pumped and excited in every action sequence. The soundtrack was incredibly amazing because it kept you pumped up throughout the whole movie. Finally, the Wiseman; by far the best character in the whole movie with the best lines.

Why I hated it!

I hated the movie mainly because everything was so freaking predictable. I knew how the movie was going to end right when she enters her first “fantasy world”. So I already was not liking how the movie was going to end. Second, *SPOILER ALERT!!* — The fact that you never see what happens in the real world.. is a fantasy inside of a fantasy… — *END SPOILER!!!* you never know exactly what is happening until the very end. This is technically not a bad thing, but it is annoying because you are confused by one thing: knowing how the movie will end but you are completely clueless as if the beginning of the movie was either completely pointless or some kind of fantasy that builds the story.

Overall though, it was an entertaining movie…was it the perfect movie? For some people might have been, for me… I don’t think so. Was it Awesome? Depends on your meaning of Awesome.

Well, when we couldn’t get enough Auto-Tune, now it shows we can have just a little bit of respect for the bit of music that was still left in this world. I mean, this is just atrocious. It’s so bad, it’s making me speak in big english words.

Which brought to me this question: “Is this a Joke?” I sure hope so. Why? This video was first premiered and made viral by appearing in the Tosh.0 show. However, after doing a little bit more digging, I found that this is actually TRUE!

Wha???? True? Yes, you read it correctly. The label behind this horrible and painful song does a casting call for kids and records a song with them, finally releasing it on YouTube and see if they become internet sensations like Justin Beiber once did. I sure hope that this doesn’t happen with this artist. But knowing our current world and its “Farm Animals” (– Mark Zuckerberg ‘The Social Network’) I’m sure this girl will enjoy fame for at least a couple of weeks…or months… possibly years (Oh I hope not.. please..)
