Hey MPIII Fans!  The Motley Players return to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival for another season of shows featuring our flavor of high energy 100% un-scripted shows!    We will be at the Whimsey again this year with laughs and comedic insanity.

The Motley Players present another of their “Family Friendly” shows on Friday March 2nd. Bring your family, your coworkers and even your kids (not the really young ones…they are still best left with the in-laws as payment for those noise making gifts they gave’em last year – after all, its not a children’s show, its a show that your older kids will enjoy with you and they won’t learn any new words you have to explain at the next pta meeting).

The Motley Players & PCT for National Arts and Humanities Month

Join us this Saturday, Oct. 22 as the players take the Black Box stage in a special family friendly performance supporting Plano Children’s Theatre in honor of National Arts and Humanities Month.

Don’t miss this opportunity to have an evening full of laughter with the entire family while supporting the local arts.

This is your last chance this year to see the players turn audience suggestions into hilarious, squeaky-clean scenarios and commentaries as we present the last “family friendly” show of 2011. Bring your kids, your grandparents, the PTA, your friends from church, and that co-worker who might not want to see “other” types of live comedy.

Quinceanera – That’s Spanish…I’m from south Texas. Can;t fool me!

Musician – THAT would be Rob. If you saw the show, you KNOW its not Dave. The boy has no rhythm.

Dreams – The Motley Players had those at one time…a LONG time ago

Watermelon – No thank you. Got sick off it one summer and have never recovered.

Glitter – I have no idea how that glitter got here. Really.

Goldfish – Thanks for the reminder. I need to feed the fish.

Stuborn  – Well, kudos for this…you spelled it right the first time. (stubborn)

Malignant – Thanks for the concern. Dave came thru the operation just fine. Still cant find his hair tho.

Rio – Another Spanish word! Means cheese, right?

PB&J – We asked for a single word but I do like the sandwich.

Penguin – The politically correct term is “nun”

Porcupine – We had a plethora of animals at this show

Accidental – We haven’t had one of those in our beds in a LONG time. But…we are getting older now

Whoopie – It’s OK to yell this at our shows.

Watch out for water balloon – *sigh*…one word. ONE! Besides, balloons aren’t until the Spring

Crablegs – Technically I think that’s supposed to be two words. But I do think they are tasty.

Shihtuzu – I think this is supposed to be Shih Tzu. No relation to Lao Tzu.

Gnostic – Yes Doug, you ARE all knowing, (and we love you)

Jeter – Whoever wrote this, you leave my cousin outta this!

Monkey Dog – Yet another animal. Or two, as it were. There is no inter species fraternization.

Troll – This one was just mean. Just because we live under a bridge doesn’t make us trolls.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidotious – Disney is serving you papers for copyright infringement.

Suspenders – Were my pants that baggy that you thought I needed them?

The Motley Players specialize in high energy improvisational (that means, we make it up on the spot, based off audience input) comedy, unlike ANY you have seen before. Our family friendly shows add another dimension as we not only make sure our content is “family safe (um…a lot more safe than anything else out there…barny had issues)” but have enough relevant themes to keep kids of all ages in stitches.
