Makeup Storage - Ikea Alex

It's been two years since I redid my makeup storage and I have out grown my present storage. After a few months on researching storage ideas I decided to go with the Ikea 'Alex'. I thought that it would take me a couple of days to get everything organized into my new storage drawers, but I was wrong. It has been four weeks since I started on this project and I'm still not finished. I knew that I had a lot of makeup, but nothing to this extent. I am still in shock over the amount of makeup that I have managed to Hoard.

I purchased two nine-drawer Ikea 'Alex' sets. Once I figured out how to put them together, it only took two hours to assemble both sets. These are the ideal storage drawers for makeup. My only complaint with these st that they only come in white.

Once I finish getting everything organized into the drawers I will do a post to show you the finish sets.

My Thoughts:
This foundation has a lot of red in it, and will not work for my NC50 (yellow under tones) skin tone. Hazelnut and Nutmeg are the two darkest shades available in this foundation. Hopefully in the future Benefit will expand its color range.

I was really hoping that Chestnut would be the perfect match for me, but it's not. This appears to be a neutral tone foundation. It doesn't have any noticeable Red or Yellow undertones. Once applied to my face, this foundation looked gray. I'll just add this to the list of Revlon foundations that are not in my skin tone.

So many new foundations came out in January and most of them came with a pump. This foundation has no pump, which is a deal killer in itself.
