It’s here, it’s called the3nd and we think it’s a bit fab. We’re huge fans of Jeremy Deller, Ai Weiwei, Grayson Perry, Gerhard Richter, Ed Ruscha… and many more, so there’s plenty of cool stuff in stock.

We’ve always loved art and so we set up a little shop, but also we thought we’d add a social change aspect.

While most galleries have some focus on diversity we realise that there’s a real need for change for people who have been born into, or hit, hard times. We love people of all skin colours, genders, sexuality and age… but if you need a leg up we’re here to help… what little we can. We’ll be focusing on a new artist as often as possible, putting their art on the same pedestal as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, David Hockney etc.

So if you’re an artist who has outstanding work, but comes from a working class background, or perhaps you’ve hit hard times and don’t have the safety net some people have… we’d love to see your work! The other thing is we are hoping the gallery will be able to bankroll our charity. We’ll write more about this but essentially it’s a little production company that makes films for charities, for free… more to come!

We’re still getting questions about what we are up to. We’re up to a lot. There’s the art gallery, the production company and another book in the pipeline. And that’s before we get on to all the films we’ve made, the babies we’ve grown and all the love and parties.

The ‘pigbutt worm’ or ‘flying buttocks’ is a naughty looking creature newly discovered in the oceanic abyss.

There is very little we can tell you about this delightful derriere as we’ve only discovered it and it lives so damn deep in the ocean.

We at The Proceedings are of course men of science, and like to deal in truths. All we can really say about the pigbutt worm is that we are rather fond of it. In fact for the above reasons it’s fair to say we like pigbutts and we cannot lie.

One knows by now that you are a rather erudite bunch, so we don’t need to tell you that in ant society there are a number of castes; workers to bob out to get food, soldiers to deal with any oi polloi, the males that fertilize the queen who lays all the eggs. Well dear readers may we introduce you to another caste you may not have heard of… the lazy fat buffoon.

As ants don’t have any household staff to ensure a steady supply of pickles and dried meats through the winter months they have instead evolved a living pantry. The fat belly of some of the honey pot ants swells to the size of a grape, and is full of goodies and liquid to help the nest through any ‘dry’ spells.
