This is the 437th edition of the Epileptic Gibbon podcast music show and the playlist to accompany it. You can CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD but note that the shows are large files. This show is largely focused on previewing EppyFest 13, the latest of the live music events connected with this show, which will be happening on the weekend of July 25th and 26th, 2026. At Smokey Joe’s in Cheltenham you’ll be able to see six acts perform and on this show, you’ll hear tracks from nearly all of the acts playing at EppyFest this year, and in the one case where we don’t have any music from an EppyFest act, I’ll be playing you music from musicians involved in that act instead. Which leads us nicely to this show’s feature artist, Bill Bruford, the legendary English drummer and percussionist, who will be one third of our headlining act on the Sunday of the festival (26th of July) as part of the Pete Roth Trio, consisting of Pete himself on guitar, Mike Pratt on bass, and the aforementioned Bill Bruford, on drums. And you’ll hear a number of terrific tracks featuring, or in one case, referencing Mr Bruford throughout the show. You’ll also be hearing some spoken word contributions from all but one of the EppyFest 13 acts, so you’ll get insights into what you can expect from them and what they’re looking forward to about the festival, and we’ll cover the usual diverse selection of styles and genres across the playlist. This latest show continues to focus mainly on new 2026 music, whilst also dipping into the past from time-to-time, including some references to films I’ve watched so far in 2026 that have musical connections. Episode 430: The Most Adequate Christmas Ever

We have a feature album this time, ‘2112 Days of Christmas’, a 2025 charity compilation album put together by Bad Dog Promotions, a UK-based music PR agency.
