The U.N. Declares It Is Time For A Global Bank And A Global Currency

The Geneva-based U.N. Conference on Trade and Development has released a shocking new report that calls for the dollar’s role in international trade to be dramatically curtailed, and for the establishment of a global reserve currency and a global central bank to issue that currency.

Up until now, the U.S. dollar has more or less acted as the global reserve currency, but with the U.S. financial crisis having rocked the entire global economy during the last 12 months, many analysts around the world are now wondering if now is the time for a global currency. This new U.N. report is a huge step in that direction.

Earlier this year, China, India, Brazil and Russia (among others) started openly calling for the dollar to be replaced as the primary world reserve currency. These nations were wary of continuing to tie their own economic fortunes to that of the United States any longer.

In particular, many political leaders began to speak of "SDRs" as a possibility for that new global currency.

So just what in the world are SDRs?

Well, SDRs are "Special Drawing Rights", which is a synthetic paper currency issued by the International Monetary Fund. The SDR concept has been mostly dormant for half a century, but now the G20 has given it new life.

But it is not just world leaders that are talking about the possibility of a global currency.

Earlier this year MSNBC ran an article with this shocking headline: What if the world all used the same currency?

Even some of the wealthiest men in the world are now talking about the possibility of a global currency. For example, George Soros is now openly discussing the prospect of a global currency: "In the long run, having an international accounting unit rather than the dollar may, in fact, be to our advantage."

But the idea of a global currency is certainly not new.

The reality is that a global world currency has been the goal of globalist organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations for a very, very long time. In a 2007 issue of their Foreign Affairs magazine, they published an article entitled, "The End Of National Currency" in which they suggested that "countries should abandon monetary nationalism."

So just how would a global currency work?

Well, just as the new U.N. report suggests, a global central bank owned and run by the international banking elite of the world would print, issue and control the reserve currency of the entire world. In many ways, such a scenario would be the ultimate dream of the international banking elite. It is what they have always dreamed of.

After all, just imagine what you could do if you had total control of the reserve currency of the entire world.

But whether we see a true global currency soon or whether it takes a while, the reality is that we know from the Scriptures that a one world economic system is coming someday.....

He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

There Is NOT Going To Be A Rapture In 2009!

It happens every year now. When we start approaching the Jewish fall festivals, some Christians who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture start proclaiming that this is it - this is going to be the year when the rapture happens. In fact just today someone emailed me a video entitled "The Rapture 2009!"

Seriously.

Now I only have a few pet peeves. But one of them just happens to be people who believe that they have figured out that the rapture is going to happen in the current year.

So you can only imagine my reaction when someone emailed me this video this morning.....

I hope that the creator of this video will read this article so he can read my response very, very clearly:

There is NOT going to be a rapture in 2009!

The person who created the video did NOT hear from God. It is either his or her own imagination or (even more dangerous) he or she heard from a familiar spirit.

But the creator of this video is not alone. If you go to just about any Internet forum where religion is discussed, you will find someone who is willing to argue that they have figured out when the rapture is going to happen. In fact, it seems to happen almost continually on one conspiracy forum that I like to visit:

One of the things that I find so ironic in all of this is that some of these "rapture guessers" seem to think that the Biblical festivals have such a strong connection to the rapture, but then the rest of the year they totally ignore the Biblical festivals claiming that they are "free from the curse of the Law".

Yes, those who have received Christ are free from "the curse of the Law".

So what was the curse of the Law?

Was it that God cursed the people of Israel by making them follow the Law?

That would be saying that the Law is a curse, which would only contradict about 1000 scriptures.

No, the curse of the Law was not that they had to follow it, but rather the curse was that they had this great, wonderful, magnificent Law, but none of them could follow it and therefore it made them all guilty.

That is why Christ had to come.

To pay the penalty for our sins and to free us from that curse.

But Jesus did not do away with the Law - instead He always intended for us to keep God's Laws.

You don't believe me?

Just read the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:17-19.....

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Is that clear enough for you?

Now if Jesus intended to do away with the Biblical festivals, then why is He going to be implementing them when He returns?

Zechariah chapter 14 describes the return of Jesus to this earth, and then later in that same chapter it describes how Jesus will REQUIRE the whole earth to observe the Feast of Tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:16-19.....

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

If you read Ezekiel 45 and 46, you will read about how Sabbath, New Moon and Passover will be celebrated during the 1000 year reign of Christ, and at the end of Isaiah chapter 66 you can read about how we will be celebrating Sabbath and New Moon forever and ever.

Now let me get back to explaining why there is not going to be a rapture in 2009.

So many Christians are expecting the antichrist to arise at any time because they are expecting a rapture to occur at any moment.

But the truth is that the antichrist does not arise until AFTER the ten horns arise. Just read what it says in Daniel 7:23-25.....

He gave me this explanation: 'The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

The reality is that you will want to watch for a world government led by the ten horns to arise shortly before the rise of antichrist.

But before that there will be terrible crises. There will be devastating economic problems and famine. There will be plagues. There will be horrifying natural disasters. There will be wars.

America will fall.

From my study of Bible prophecy, I am convinced that the world government will arise in the aftermath of World War III. It will seem like the solution to all of the horrific problems that the world is experiencing at that time.

I believe that you can expect a major war to take place in the Middle East that Israel will win. But it will not be the war of Gog and Magog although many will call it that.

America is going to go through such terrible times that people will say that we are in the seven year Tribulation. But they will be wrong. That will come later.

But the number one reason why there is not going to be a rapture in 2009 is that there is not going to be a pre-Tribulation rapture at all. In a previous post we showed exactly why there is not going to be a rapture. If you have not read that post yet, you need to go read it now.....

Now, a lot of these "rapture theorists" are correct in trying to connect the return of Christ with Rosh Hashanah (the Feast of Trumpets). After all, 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4 and Matthew 24 ALL mention a trumpet in connection with the return of Jesus. But as our study in the post linked above showed, all three scriptures describe the exact same event - the return of Jesus at the END of the Tribulation period.

So buckle up your seat belts.

Either you are going to go through the Tribulation period or you are going to die.

It is either one or the other.

And in my opinion, the start of the Tribulation period is still a number of years away at least.

So if I was you, I would not count on only 7 years of hard times.

We are in for a long, tough stretch.

There are quite a few things that need to happen before we can even get to the Tribulation period, and then there are a whole BUNCH of things that need to happen before Jesus returns at the end of the Tribulation.

So I have probably made the majority of you who will read this quite mad.

But bookmark this article and see if I am not right.

I have been studying this for decades, I know the Scriptures inside and out, I have sought out God's real prophets all over America (those who have a long track record of 100 percent accuracy) and I have studied all of this long and hard.

And you know what?

A whole bunch of my relatives believe in a pre-Tribulation rapture.

I used to believe in a pre-Tribulation rapture.

But I was dead wrong.

There is not going to be a pre-Tribulation rapture.

There is not going to be a rapture in 2009.

You all need to buckle up and prepare for the long years ahead.

The times ahead are going to be incredibly hard, but they can also be the greatest adventure that you can imagine if you will start preparing yourself now.

Why There Is NOT Going To Be A Pre-Tribulation Rapture

The majority of evangelical Christians believe that there is going to be a pre-Tribulation rapture in which Jesus returns to earth, catches them up into the clouds, and keeps them from having to go through the horrific events of the 7 year Great Tribulation. However, the Bible does not teach that there is going to be a pre-Tribuation rapture, and you can prove this to anyone in under 5 minutes using the Bible.

There are two main passages in the Scriptures that pre-Tribulation rapture advocates believe describe the rapture. The first is in 1 Corinthians and the second is in 1 Thessalonians. As we shall see, both of them tell us exactly when the rapture is going to be.

The first scripture that pre-Tribulation advocates use is 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.....

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

Do you see how it tells us precisely when the rapture will be?

It is marked in red for you.

This passage tells us that the rapture will take place at the last trumpet.

So when will that be?

Well, hold on to that for a minute and let's take a look at the next passage that pre-Tribulation advocates use.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, once again we see the timing of the rapture coincides with the trumpet call of God.....

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

So, we see that the two main rapture passage that pre-Tribulation advocates use to describe the rapture both agree about the timing of the Rapture.

But just when is the "last trumpet" going to be?

Fortunately, the Lord Jesus Christ gave us the answer to that question. In Matthew chapter 24, Jesus tells his disciples about many of the events that will occur during the Tribulation period, and then in verses 29 to 31 Jesus describes the moment of His second coming to earth at the end of the Tribulation period. Most pre-Tribulation advocates refer to this event as "The Glorious Appearing".

Please notice that once again, the events of Matthew 24:29-31 coincide with the trumpet call of God.....

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now, as we saw earlier, the "rapture" is clearly supposed to take place at the "last trumpet".

In Matthew 24, Jesus tells us that His final return to this earth will coincide with a great trumpet blast.

Is there any other trumpet blast after that one?

No.

So that is the last trumpet.

At the END of the Tribulation.

Pre-Tribulation advocates have to somehow rationalize that there is going to be "another last trumpet" at the beginning of the Tribulation that also coincides with the Lord Jesus gathering in His elect from the four winds.

It simply does not make sense and it simply does not square with Scripture.

The truth is that I Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 4 and Matthew 24 are all talking about the exact same event.

So the next time you discuss the end times with someone, you now know how to pull out your Bible and prove why there is NOT going to be a pre-Tribulation rapture.

This Is What Happens To Christians In Pakistan

One of the most under reported news stories in the world is the horrific persecution of Christians in many Islamic nations. For example, a 28-year-old Christian Pakistani man was just brutally tortured, raped and then murdered for refusing to convert to Islam, and there was virtually no mention of this in the world media.

Fortunately at least Fox News covered this story. According to Fox News, Pakistani police discovered the mangled body of 28-year-old Tariq "Litto" Mashi Ghauri lying in a canal outside a rural village in Punjab Province on May 15th.

Reportedly, Ghauri had been raped and brutally stabbed at least five times.

Why?

Because he refused to convert to Islam.

This is what Christians in some areas of the world have to deal with on a daily basis.

Ghauri's 24-year-old brother explained what they did to him....

"They have sexually abuse him, torture him with a knife on his testicle and genitals."

Yes, that sounds very loving.

So is this horrific crime being investigated?

Are the Pakistani authorities doing anything?

No.

Ghauri's brother told FOXNews that the police are refusing to investigate: "They are free. Nothing is happening to them. No investigation is running."

The reality is that Christians in Pakistan, just as in many other Islamic nations, are treated with utter contempt.

According to the most recent statistics, Pakistan's population is approximately 97 percent Muslim, while Christians only make up about 3 percent.

"What the Muslim society has done in Pakistan is just associate low caste with being Christian," stated Jeremy Sewall, Advocacy Director of the International Christian Concern, the first organization to report the killing. "Many of these people, they clean human waste and that's their job, and that's what Christians are known for in Pakistan."

Would you be willing to endure that kind of treatment for what you believe?

The reality is that Christians in western countries are totally spoiled.

Christians in other nations know what it is really like to suffer for Christ.

Religious freedom is precious and needs to be protected.

In Pakistan, the "Ministry of Religious Affairs", which is supposed to protect everyone's religious freedom, actually has a verse from the Koran on its masthead that says this: "Islam is the only religion acceptable to God."

So much for religious freedom, eh?

The truth is that religious freedom is not spreading around the world. Religious freedom is actually in rapid retreat in large areas of the globe and persecution of Christians is increasing.

Ug99: The Time Bomb That Could Wipe Out The World Wheat Crop

Scientists now fear that Ug99, a devastating wheat fungus also known as stem rust, could wipe out over 80 percent of the world's wheat crop as it spreads from Africa. In a world already on the verge of a massive food crisis, this is really, really bad news.

Most Americans have never heard Ug99, but the reality is that it is considered to be the most serious threat to the world food supply.

Ug99 is referred to as "stem rust" because it produces reddish-brown flakes on wheat stalks. It is incredibly deadly and there is no known way to cure it.

The Los Angeles Times reports that The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center in Mexico now estimates that 19 percent of the world's wheat crop, mostly located in Asia and Africa, is in imminent danger. If Ug99 were to start spreading in the United States, it is estimated that approximately 10 billion dollars worth of wheat crops would be destroyed.

10 billion dollars.

That is a whole lot of bread.

The L.A. Times also reports that Rick Ward, the coordinator of the Durable Rust Resistance in Wheat project at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., says that "A significant humanitarian crisis is inevitable."

Apparently Ug99 has already jumped the Red Sea and has affected areas as far as Iran already.

Wheat Experts say that it is poised to enter northern India and Pakistan, and that the wind will inevitably carry it to Russia, China and even North America.

If it doesn't get to North America some other way first.

Jim Peterson, a professor of wheat breeding and genetics at Oregon State University in Corvallis, does not sound optimistic:

"It's a time bomb," he told the L.A. Times.

"It moves in the air, it can move in clothing on an airplane. We know it's going to be here. It's a matter of how long it's going to take."

Are you all starting to get the picture?

This is serious.

If the worst case scenario came to fruition, and 80 percent of the world's wheat crop was destroyed, what do you think that would do?

Can you say famine?

As if things were not bad enough, wheat experts say that Ug99 is becoming more virulent as it spreads.

This quote from the recent L.A. Times article on Ug99 is very frightening.....

Scientists discovered a Ug99 variant in 2006 that can defeat Sr24, a resistance gene that protects Great Plains wheat. Last year, another variant was found with immunity to Sr36, a gene that safeguards Eastern wheat.

It is not like the world has enough wheat anyway.

The reality is that exploding populations, record droughts across the globe and dwindling strategic food reserves in the major industrialized nations have brought the world to the very edge of a devastating global food crisis.

World food reserves currently sit at a fifty year low, and many experts are warning that we are now facing a "perfect storm" that will cause a dramatic spike in world hunger.

Even the major industrialized nations are not immune. With U.S. wheat reserves now at a record low, USDA Undersecretary Mark Keenum had to admit last year: "Our cupboard is bare."

Things have become so serious that even Time magazine has now declared that we are in "a global food crisis".

Most Americans would like to think that "wealthy nations" such as the United States are immune from world famine, but the truth is that the U.S. only has enough wheat held in reserve to make half a loaf of bread for each citizen.

Half a loaf of bread.

How long do you think that will last you if Ug99 sweeps the globe?

In a stunning new report, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is warning that impoverished populations around the globe are already feeling the pain of higher food prices. The price of important crops such as rice, which is a key staple in many poorer nations, spiked more than 400 percent last year. In fact, food riots broke out in many third world countries last year when large numbers of people could suddenly not feed their families.

The effects of food shortages are not being seriously felt yet in the major industrialized nations where food represents about 10 to 20 percent of consumer spending, but in developing nations the poor often have to spend up to 80 percent of their meager income on food.

Britain's chief scientist, Professor John Beddington, says that the global demand for food is going to increase by about 50 percent by 2030, and that this will cause massive world problems of unprecedented magnitude in the years ahead.

"It's a perfect storm," he told the GovNet Communications Sustainable Development 09 conference in London. "We're not growing enough food, so we're not able to put stuff into the reserves."

And his gloomy forecast did not even include the impact of Ug99 on the world food supply.

The truth is that the world is quickly running out of food and more people than ever are hungry.....

*1 billion people in the world go to bed hungry every single night.

*Every 3.6 seconds someone starves to death and 3/4 are children under the age of 5.

*More than 2.8 billion people, close to half of the world's population, live on less than the equivalent of $2 a day.

*About a third of all children in the world under the age of five suffer from serious malnutrition.

*The top fifth (20 per cent) of the world's people who live in the highest income countries have access to 86 percent of world gross domestic product. The bottom fifth, in the poorest countries, have about one percent.

*The assets of the world's three richest men exceed the combined gross domestic products of the world's 48 poorest countries.

When you add all of this up, the reality is that we could very well be on the verge of the worst global famine in the history of humanity.

If we are to take the scientists and the government experts seriously, then it is very likely that there will come a day when you will not be able to run down to the local Wal-Mart or the local McDonald's and grab all of the food you want.

Food shortages are coming. Will you and your family be ready?

Does God Have A Plan For The Ten Lost Tribes Of Israel?

Does God still have a plan for the ten lost tribes of Israel?

Many Christians today don't even realize that there are ten lost tribes.

So before we talk about God's plan, let's review some Biblical history first.....

After the reign of King Solomon, the land of Israel was divided into two kingdoms - the "northern kingdom" and the "southern kingdom".

The 10 northern tribes that rebelled against Solomon's son became known in the Scriptures as "the house of Israel" or as "the house of Ephraim" after the tribe of Ephraim which was one of the most dominant tribes in the northern kingdom.

3 tribes (Judah, Benjamin and the Levites) stayed in the south and they became known in the Scriptures as "the house of Judah" which referred to the most dominant tribe in the southern kingdom which was Judah.

Those two kingdoms existed side by side for several hundred years.

However, the northern kingdom (Ephraim) turned away from the Lord God and he allowed them to be invaded. Over 700 years before Jesus was born, the Assyrian empire invaded the northern kingdom and carried away the people into exile.

The northern kingdom has not been heard from since.

They became known as the ten lost tribes of Israel.

The southern kingdom (Judah) was later invaded by Babylon and also taken into exile, but later they were allowed to return to their land. The Jews (Judah) lived in the land of Israel until 70 A.D. when the Romans destroyed the Temple and scattered the Jews to the four winds.

There was no nation of Israel from 70 A.D. until 1948 when the modern nation of Israel was established and millions of Jews (Judah) starting returning to the land of their ancestors.

But what about the northern kingdom?

What ever happened to the ten lost tribes of Israel?

Did you know that the Scriptures very clearly teach that in the last days the southern kingdom (Judah) and the northern kingdom (Ephraim) will be reunited in the land of Israel once again?

Ezekiel 37:15-23

The word of the LORD came to me: "Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, 'Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, 'Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.' Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand. "When your countrymen ask you, 'Won't you tell us what you mean by this?' say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim's hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah's stick, making them a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.' Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on and say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

So has this happened yet?

Of course not.

So that means that this prophecy is still yet to be fulfilled.

Either it will happen or God is a liar - and we know that God is not a liar.

Ephraim and Judah will be reunited once again just as the Scriptures tell us. You can also read about this reunification in Isaiah 11, Jeremiah 16, Jeremiah 23 and Zechariah 10 among other places.

Could it be possible that God is getting ready to fulfill these Scriptures?

The answer, amazingly, is yes.

God is getting ready to do something so big that it will shock the world.

God has commissioned Prophet Deckard to gather the ten lost tribes of Israel (Ephraim) and to take them home to the land of Israel.

An Implantable RFID Chip That Can Kill You?

This news item is quite chilling.

A Saudi inventor has come up with the idea for an RFID chip that can be inserted into humans and can kill them remotely if the government feels that it is necessary.

An application for this invention was received by the German Patent Office on October 30, 2007 and was published 18 months later, but it will not be approved in Germany because it is considered a danger to the public.

Apparently this RFID chip that the Saudi inventor came up with would be implanted under the skin so the whereabouts of whoever is implanted could be tracked by global-positioning satellites.

The purported benefits of this technology include preventing illegal immigrants from overstaying and keeping track of people who may be "terrorists".

Apparently this chip would also contain a poison such as cyanide, which could be released remotely to "eliminate" people if they became a "security risk".

In light of what we know about Bible prophecy, a technology like this is a very frightening thing indeed.

Could The Swine Flu Be A Plague Of The End Times?

Could the swine flu be a plague of the end times?

A lot of Christians are asking that question.

So what is the answer?

Well, one thing that we need to be clear on is that we are not even close to the Tribulation period yet, so this plague is not part of what is going to happen during the Tribulation.

But if the swine flu does become a devastating worldwide pandemic, it may indicate that the judgment of God is being poured out in a larger measure than we have seen before.

These next couple of weeks are going to be very interesting, that is for certain.

As the swine flu virus continues to race across the globe, some analysts are now asking whether this strain of the swine flu was man-made.

Indonesian Heath Minister Siti Fadilah Supari publicly stated on Tuesday that the swine flu virus could have been man-made.

Dr. Sherry Tenpenny has an excellent article out regarding the suspicious circumstances regarding the suspicious nature and appearance of this disease.

In addition, Dr. Leonard Horowitz is not only arguing that the swine flu virus was definitely man-made, but he is also naming specific doctors and organizations that he believes are possibly involved. Just check out this stunning YouTube report:

Whether this swine flu is man-made or not, the reality is that it is spreading quickly.

There are also now frightening indications that the swine flu outbreak is much worse than the mainstream media is telling us. Multiple eyewitness reports out of Mexico confirm that the real death toll there is far higher than the 152 confirmed deaths that are being reported internationally.

Comments from Mexican eyewitnesses on a BBC News website tell of a much bleaker situation in Mexico than we have been told in the mainstream media. These chilling reports should put a chill up your spine.....

I’m a specialist doctor in respiratory diseases and intensive care at the Mexican National Institute of Health. There is a severe emergency over the swine flu here. More and more patients are being admitted to the intensive care unit. Despite the heroic efforts of all staff (doctors, nurses, specialists, etc) patients continue to inevitably die. The truth is that anti-viral treatments and vaccines are not expected to have any effect, even at high doses. It is a great fear among the staff. The infection risk is very high among the doctors and health staff.

There is a sense of chaos in the other hospitals and we do not know what to do. Staff are starting to leave and many are opting to retire or apply for holidays. The truth is that mortality is even higher than what is being reported by the authorities, at least in the hospital where I work it. It is killing three to four patients daily, and it has been going on for more than three weeks. It is a shame and there is great fear here. Increasingly younger patients aged 20 to 30 years are dying before our helpless eyes and there is great sadness among health professionals here.

*Alvaro Ricardez, Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico:

In the capital of my state, Oaxaca, there is a hospital closed because of a death related to the porcine influenza. In the papers they recognise only two people dead for that cause. Many friends working in hospitals or related fields say that the situation is really bad, they are talking about 19 people dead in Oaxaca, including a doctor and a nurse. They say they got shots but they were told not to talk about the real situation. Our authorities say nothing. Life goes on as usual here.

*Migdalia Cruz, Phoenix, Arizona:

I have a sister-in-law from San Luis Potosi state in Mexico and we were told that in San Luis Potosi there have been at least 78 deaths, just in that city alone, not 68 in all of Mexico, as is being reported. Schools have been closed until 6 May in this state and in other areas in Mexico. Also, many public venues are being closed, so this makes it more deadly and dangerous than has been stated.

*Yeny Gregorio Dávila, Mexico City:

I work as a resident doctor in one of the biggest hospitals in Mexico City and sadly, the situation is far from “under control”. As a doctor, I realise that the media does not report the truth. Authorities distributed vaccines among all the medical personnel with no results, because two of my partners who worked in this hospital (interns) were killed by this new virus in less than six days even though they were vaccinated as all of us were. The official number of deaths is 20, nevertheless, the true number of victims are more than 200. I understand that we must avoid to panic, but telling the truth it might be better now to prevent and avoid more deaths.

Hopefully reports like this will get out there and will make people realize how serious this all could become.

In the United States things are starting to become quite frightening as well. A child in Texas has become the first fatality from swine flu in the United States. In addition, there is now a report that North Carolina officials are involuntarily isolating swine flu patients. Please note the "involuntary" part of that. Imagine if this happens all over the nation and Americans who show symptoms of the swine flu start getting ripped away from their families and sent to isolation facilities and camps.

Very scary stuff.

U.S. officials now say that "a worst case scenario" for this swine flu crisis would be two million Americans dead.

That doesn't sound good.

Reports of new swine flu outbreaks are coming in almost constantly now and the World Health Organization has raised the threat level from a Level 4 Global Outbreak to a Level 5, which has never been done before. Meanwhile, scientists are completely puzzled how such a powerful strain that combines elements of swine flu, bird flu and human flu could have appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

So is this going to be the big one?

Is this the one that is going to kill millions of people?

It is too early to tell, but here is what we do know at this hour.....

First of all, this "swine flu" is not just run of the mill swine flu. It contains elements of the following.....

*Avian flu
*1918 Spanish (Human) flu
*European swine flu
*Asian swine flu

Now how in the world did an incredibly strong combination of these viruses appear seemingly out of nowhere?

Scientists are baffled.

Meanwhile this "swine flu" is popping up all over the U.S. and Mexico.

In Mexico alone, there are already over 2500 suspected cases and 159 suspected deaths from the swine flu so far. Most public events have been canceled, and millions of Mexicans are hiding indoors in an attempt to escape the swine flu.

91 cases of the swine flu have been confirmed in the United States, and the CDC says that it is too late to contain the swine flu outbreak in the United States.

In fact, over 100 public schools all over the United States are being closed due to fear over this swine flu.

These outbreaks in the U.S. and Mexico are already causing panic reactions from other parts of the world.

EU health commissioner Andorra Vassiliou has asked Europeans to postpone nonessential travel to the United States or Mexico. In addition, China has banned the import of hog and pork products from Mexico and parts of the United States.

However, the truth is that the swine flu is now spreading all over the world. Just today new reports of swine flu cases have come in from Canada, Israel, France, New Zealand, Costa Rica and South Korea.

So what can we expect to see going forward?

The next few days are going to be key.

If only a few hundred people end up dying from this swine flu that is not that big of a deal. Hundreds of people die from many different causes every day.

But if this disease starts sweeping the globe and thousands of people start dying, then that could indicate that this IS the big one.

The reality is that we have been warning of a coming flu plague for quite some time.

What is even more disturbing is the possibility that this new flu may be engineered. We recently reported on the unlabeled bird flu/human flu mixture that Baxter International "accidentally" sent out to other labs.

Why would our scientists mix these dangerous viruses together so recklessly? The CDC was mixing human flu and bird flu together as far back as 2004. This is incredibly dangerous to do. One mistake and a pandemic virus can be released that could kill millions of people.

So how many people will this "swine flu" virus kill?

Is this going to become a massive pandemic that bring the world to a standstill?

Easter Pagan?

Is Easter pagan?

On first glance that might seem like a ridiculous question.

But just think about it.

Do you know what the word "Easter" means?

Have you ever wondered where that word came from?

That is something I always wondered about when I was growing up.

However, it was not until I started doing some research that I began to learn the truth.

Our old reference books actually told us the truth about these things.....

The Britannica Encyclopedia (1934) stated:

"EASTER (es’ter). Ostara, or Eastre, was the goddess of Spring in the religion of the ancient Angles and Saxons. Every April a festival was celebrated in her honor. With the beginnings of Christianity, the old gods were put aside. From then on the festival was celebrated in honor of the resurrection of Christ, but was still known as Easter after the old goddess."

So why do we celebrate "Easter"?

Well, the story goes back a long way - to the ancient Middle East.

Have you ever heard of "Ishtar" or "Ashtoreth"? Most of you probably have. They are ancient names of the same pagan fertility goddess. In fact, if you trace the various pagan fertility goddesses back far enough, they all trace back to Semiramis of ancient Babylon.

Over time, "Ashtoreth" and "Asherah" became "Ishtar" which eventually became "Eastre" and then finally "Easter", but it is all the same pagan fertility goddess.

Some other names of "Easter" over the centuries included Aphrodite from ancient Cyprus, Astarte from ancient Greece, Demeter from Mycenae, Kali from India and Ostara, a Norse goddess of fertility.

Easter "eggs" and bunny rabbits are pagan fertility symbols that celebrate this pagan fertility goddess, and they have been used as symbols for her for thousands of years.

So why do Christians celebrate "Easter"?

Jesus did not die on "Easter".

Do you want to know when Jesus died?

He died on the eve of Passover.

You see, in the "Old Testament", God had His people come up to Jerusalem three times per year. One of those times was for Passover.

During the very first Passover, God had the Jews take the blood of a lamb and put it on their doorposts so that the death angel would pass over their houses.

And do you know what doorposts are most commonly made of?

Wood.

And do you know where wood comes from?

From a tree.

So the message of that very first Passover was that the blood of the lamb on the tree covers us from the wrath of God.

Does that sound familiar?

It should.

It is the message of the cross - the blood of the lamb on the tree covers us from the wrath of God!

So for hundreds and hundreds of years, God had His people gather in the exact city where Christ would die, at the exact time of the year when He would die, and He had them celebrate a holiday that perfectly foreshadowed the sacrifice of Jesus the Messiah.

So why do Christians not celebrate the holiday of Passover?

Did you also know that Jesus celebrated Passover? The Last Supper was actually a Passover meal (just look it up in the Scriptures).

During the Last Supper Jesus said to do this meal in memory of Him.

And did you know that all of humanity will celebrate the Passover during the 1000 year reign of Christ (see Ezekiel 45-46)?

Did you know that "Easter" was celebrated by ancient civilizations such as the Assyrians, the Phoenicians, and the Philistines? Did you know that ritual pagan sex acts were involved with the celebration of "Easter"?

So why have we all forsaken a holiday which predicted the sacrifice of Jesus, which is full of symbolism about Jesus, which is during the precise time when Jesus died and rose again and which God tells us in the Scriptures to remember?

Why have we instead been celebrating a pagan fertility festival that is named after a pagan fertility goddess and is filled with pagan symbols and traditions?

Perhaps it is time to reconsider a lot of the things that we have taken for granted.

The Bible has nothing to say about Easter.

But it has a ton to say about Passover.

If you do not know much about Passover, I would encourage you to pick up your Bible and to read about the amazing holiday that perfectly foreshadowed the sacrifice of Christ every year for over a thousand years before Jesus arrived on earth.

Will The Second Coming Of Jesus Be The End Of Human History?

Will the second coming of Yahshua (Jesus Christ) be the end of human history?

No.

The second coming of Yahshua is not the end at all.

In fact, the Bible very explicitly teaches that Yahshua will reign on this earth from Jerusalem for 1000 years.

Unfortunately, almost all writing and teaching concerning the "end times" focuses on what is going to happen BEFORE the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Even most Christians don't realize what is going to happen AFTER Yahshua (Jesus) comes back.

Have you ever thought much about what life will be like after the return of Jesus?

The following passage of Scripture illustrates that the Bible clearly teaches that Christ will rule in Jerusalem for 1000 years after He returns to this earth.

Please notice how the Scripture mentions the term "thousand years" five times alone in Revelation 20:1-10.....

And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

So what life will be like during the 1000 year reign of Jesus?

Did you realize that the Bible tells us some of the holidays that we will celebrate?

Read the following scriptures for yourself and see if we are wrong about this.

Zechariah 14:3-4 describes the circumstances of the return of the Messiah.....

Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

Then, in Zechariah 14:16-19 it tells us that Yahshua will require the whole earth to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles when He reigns.....

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

One of the most neglected parts of Scripture is Ezekiel chapters 40-48. Those chapters actually describe what life will be like when the Messiah comes and reigns. Did you know that Sabbath, New Moon and Passover will all be celebrated when Yahshua (Jesus) reigns of earth for a thousand years?

Just check out these passages.....

Ezekiel 46:1-3

"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The gate of the inner court facing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon it is to be opened. The prince is to enter from the outside through the portico of the gateway and stand by the gatepost. The priests are to sacrifice his burnt offering and his fellowship offerings. He is to worship at the threshold of the gateway and then go out, but the gate will not be shut until evening. On the Sabbaths and New Moons the people of the land are to worship in the presence of the LORD at the entrance to that gateway."

Ezekiel 45:17

"It will be the duty of the prince to provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings and drink offerings at the festivals, the New Moons and the Sabbaths—at all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He will provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel."

Ezekiel 45:21

"In the first month on the fourteenth day you are to observe the Passover, a feast lasting seven days, during which you shall eat bread made without yeast."

In addition, the Scripture tells us that Sabbath and the New Moon will be celebrated forever and ever.....

Isaiah 66:22-24

"As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me," declares the LORD, "so will your name and descendants endure. From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me," says the LORD. "And they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind."
