The world attempts to redefine “truth” due to a wrong understanding of tolerance.  Tolerance is to disagree but treat with respect. We must honor those we hope to influence. The Bible, as your filter, provides clarity for all issues. You’re going to believe and honor somebody’s word, why not Scripture that have been forever settled.

Truth is discovered and verifiable through:

1)      Creation – Examine the ecosystem, tilt of earth, varieties of beetles and flowers, baby fingernails, etc.  I just don’t have enough faith to believe anything else but intentional design by a Creator God.

2)      Conscience- Can become calloused, but people know right and wrong. They know when to run or lie. People are wearing out under the load of guilt.

3)      Consideration –Truth is observable, rational and verifiable. Consider the result.  With over 2.1 billion believers, consider the lives and lifestyles. Don’t accept a belief without looking at the life behind it. 

Everyone is betting their life on something. Bet your life on that Jesus that He is who He said He is.  Absolute morals truths exist and the Bible defines them. God is true and His word is truth. Look at the world through the filter of God’s Word.

Biblical worldview means to view the world, people, problems, governments, issues, solutions, and the future through God’s Word.  Problems and solutions are both spiritual and will not be solved through government intervention, education, or technology. The underlying problem is spiritual emptiness.  A Biblical worldview gives you confidence, answers for life’s problems and provides hope for the future.  How you see yourself and the world around you determines your quality of life, direction and destiny. Your beliefs determine your decisions, behaviors and outcomes.

Your life is shaped by your thoughts/beliefs. If you don’t know what you believe or why you believe it, then your life is being shaped by something you’re not even aware of.  What you believe governs your life.  The outcome of discontentment or disappointment with life is actually created by decisions based upon beliefs and thoughts. Bad outcomes point to errors in beliefs which were not based on truth.

Answers and life are found in God and revealed by His Word. Everyone would benefit from having a Biblical worldview. Though it requires them to believe and honor God’s Word (Bible). We need to start making decisions based on God’s instructions/values.

Stop by our Adopt-a-Soldier table to honor our active duty personnel.  The Adopt-a-Soldier program is the bridge to connect grateful Americans with deployed soldiers.  You may encourage and express your gratitude to the brave men and women serving our nation by writing and sending care packages or by prayer.  It only takes a few minutes, once or twice a week, to encourage and pray for these young men and women.
