The final report for the London 2012 Olympic bid was delivered today to the IOC ,and a press conference by lord Coe head of the London bid announced that London was ready .

But the problem with the London bid (and I would like it to take place in London) is that it lakes support on the national level and clear economic assurances. Look at the Paris bid its not a Paris bid its a French bid all of the people are behind it its turned in to a national cause with Chirac at the helm .

I think if London wants to host the Olympics they have to prove 2 things:

1. That this BIG project isn't another dome... Or a failed attempt to host a world gathering like the world athletics bid that was a disaster.

2. Turn the London bid into a UK bid with every body supporting it from the government and the queen to the cab drivers in London and all the cities of the UK let them be energiesed by it....Like the "footballs Coming Home" campaign of the euro cup in London a few years back.. Otherwise the IOC will be saying "Oui à PARIS"

The Fallujah tape of a marine killing an unarmed wounded Iraqi who wasn't a threat ,and the shocking reaction of the rest of the solders in that area (couldn't care less) attitude, really needs to be re-evaluated by the us military if they want to get out of this as liberators, and not as the new flavor of tyranny in Iraq .
Bare in mined that it was the reporter that reported this barbaric act to the authorities NOT THE MARINES
....Unfortunately this is the 2nd tape showing a wounded un-armed Iraqi being killed as broadcast by Sky News on the 11th of Nov,Which makes many(unfortunately)think if there isn't a camera around(Fallujah,Abu-graib...ect)is this the true face of the us (liberation !!??)

what's with this company its the biggest constructor in the world but from the Big Dig that sprung several leaks last week threatening to be a (Big Leak), to the new multi billion dollar airport hear in Qatar delaying it for a year at least causing Qatar airways to postpone receiving the new airbus fleet.
This company seems to be having problems and if I was the Qatar civil aviation authority I would do something about it before its to late
