When you have just one iPod and one Mac, it’s easy to manage your library and sync your music, videos, audio books and data. But do you want to use more than one iPod with the same Mac or even share music and videos between different iTunes accounts on a single Mac? It gets a bit confusing.
Here provides several pretty simple ways for you to connect multiple iPods to one Mac and share the iTunes library.

Generally, each user has his or her own OS X user account, and iTunes is designed to store music in a user’s Music folder. OS X user accounts employ permissions to prevent one user from rooting around in someone else’s folders.

Method One

How to sync multiple iPods on one Mac?
Create a separate iTunes library for each iPod. Note: It is important that you make a new iTunes Library file. Do not just make a copy of your existing iTunes Library file.
Learn more: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1495

How to share music between different accounts on a single computer?
If you want to share music with other users on your computer, you need to move your iTunes music folder to a publicly accessible location.
Learn more: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1203

Method Two

Free download TransPod. (It works for iPhone in the same way)

No need to create any other iTunes library, TransPod could automatically detect any iPod when you connect it with Mac.

You could manage iPod music, video and photos on TransPod interface directly.

With TransPod it will be no problem for you and your friends share each other iPod content freely, it lets you copy iPod videos and music to iTunes to enrich your iTunes library.

You can also transfer your local music and videos to iPod via TransPod easily.

Tips:

iPod compatible file formats:
Video: mp4, m4v, mov, etc.
Audio: mp3, m4a, m4b, m4p, etc.
Image: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, etc.

Only iPod compatible formats can be played successfully on iPod, if you need to put DVD movie and other kind of video like WMV, AVI, MKV, AVCHD, etc to iPod, convert them first, using DVD to iPod converter and Video to iPod Converter for Mac.

.TOD

The .TOD file format was created by JVC, to be used by their high-definition camcorder range (I.E JVC Everio).

The known camcorder TODels that use the .TOD format are:

JVC: GZ-HD7, GZ-HD3, GZ-HD5, GZ-HD6, GZ-HD30, GZ-HD40

AVCHD

AVCHD is a format for recording and playback of high definition video. Video is compressed in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, and audio is recorded in Dolby Digital. It is always used for Camcorder video of Sony and Panasonic.

AVCHD specification allows using several kinds of recording media, in particular recordable DVD discs, memory cards, non-removable solid-state memory and hard disk drives. AVCHD camcorders do not use magnetic tape.

Lately, Wondershare DVD Ripper for Mac has updated to V1.9.1.8 with more output formats available, but the price remains unchanged: $49.00.

The new output formats added this time are:
New video outputs: WMV, DV, F4V, TS
New audio outputs: WMA, Au, AIFF, FLAC, CAF, SD2

WMV and WMA are compressed video and audio file formats for several proprietary codecs developed by Microsoft. Many users has a Mac and a PC, they need to convert DVD to WMV or WAV on Mac for playback on Mac.

Digital Video (DV) is a digital video format created by Sony, JVC, Panasonic and other video camera producers. Video in DV format is always in high definition.

F4V is Adobe’s wrapper for H.264 video, because of restrictions in the .flv format, Adobe Systems has created new file formats including F4V. FLV and F4V are the de facto standard for web video today; over 75% of broadcasters who stream video on the web use these formats.

TS is one of the HDTV (high-definition) video format, the video quality is joyful.

The Au file format is a simple audio file format introduced by Sun Microsystems. Hardware from other vendors often used sample rates as high as 8192 Hz, often integer factors of video clock signals.

AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format) is one of the two most-used audio file formats used in the Apple Macintosh operating system.

Wondershare DVD Ripper for Mac can now rip DVD to more video and video formats, such as: WMV, DV, F4V, TS, MOV, MKV, FLV (online video), MOV (QuickTime), AVI (Xvid), MP4, MPG, M4V, MPEG, VOB, 3GP, 3G2, etc on Mac.

The DVD can be played on Apple TV, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPod Classic, iPod Nano, QuickTime, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, TiVo, iDVD, iTunes, YouTube, PSP GO, iPhone 3G S, PSP, PS3, PSP 2000, MP3 Player, Zune, Creative Zen, Cell Phone, PDA, Archos, iRiver, BlackBerry, etc.

System Requirements:

1. MAC OS X 10.4 or above operating system (include Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, Mac OS X v10.5.7 Leopard, Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard, Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac and PC with Mac OS X).

2. 1G Hz or above Intel processor or Power PC.

3. 512M or above RAM.

The Apple iPhone 3G has been on top of the world since its debut this past summer. It’s broken records, dominated markets and made iPhone app and accessory makers rich. While competitors like RIM’s BlackBerry have tried to topple the mighty iPhone 3G, no one has even come close. Some say the Google Android will be the one to slay the mighty iPhone, I think it’s a good match, but it’s just not up to par yet. The iPhone has its fair share of haters, but there is no doubting the functionality and good looks of the iPhone 3G. So who is next to challenge the king of the smartphone hill? Enter the Palm Pre, the ailing Palm’s new smartphone determined to be the next, and hopefully successful, iPhone killer. So to find out if the new Palm Pre is a serious contender for top smartphone or not we decided to do a side-by-side comparison of both the iPhone 3G and the Palm Pre. So comes out on top in this iPhone 3G vs Palm Pre comparo?
