Last Evening at Capital University

So its my last night here at Capital University…It’s been an eventful day. I woke up this morning, showered and then went to get lemons. (It was for my hair…I wanted highlights but I didn’t want to pay $40 for them) Lets just say sitting in the sun all day sucked. I have almost zero highlights and I got sun burned pretty bad. After that, I started packing and cleaning my room…and wow…I never realized how much shit I had. I took nearly 3 hours just to pack clothing let alone all my games, food, etc.

It’s going to be a long four months away from Capital. I have made so many friends here its unbelievable. (Some of my closest ever) I’ll be going home to almost no one except family. I mean I hated high school and after I went off to college i basically abandoned most of the friends I made there. At least I’ll still have Pittsburgh to go to for a good time…even though it’s nothing like Columbus with all my friends.

So this summer is basically going to be composed of a lot of work, the beach at the end of May, and Cedar Point July 24-26. I hope to also visit some friends in Ohio. (Tony, Ryan, Colin, Kyle, Meredith) I hope I can make some time to see them all this summer. They are all an amazing group of people. I am happy to have met them. =)

Auction House Economics 101…sigh

So i wake up this morning and log into World of Warcraft only to find out that some douche bag has undersold my titansteel bars…This is getting so annoying. I HATE people that undersell you…i mean cmon really…i had my bars in the Auction House for 80g, ONLY 80g! Then some bastard comes along and puts his in for 60g, clearly ruining the Auction House value for Titansteel Bars from now on. Way to go Tanzo…way to fail…

On a brighter note, the weather here in Columbus has been amazing! This weekend is supposed to stay in the 80’s everyday. =D It makes me want to go swimming but alas, memorial day is a month away. =( Seems like too long to me but i guess it’s something to look forward to.

World of Warcraft 3.1

A new patch recently hit the World of Warcraft. It was huge in scale and added a ton to the game. Blizzard added to their current graphics system making it even more phenomenal! They also added more interface options such as a new color blind mode. This was perfect for me being color blind and all…now I will never mess up gemming my gear again! =p Also, they completely revamped the arenas in the game. When you start a new arena team, you no longer start at a 1500 rating, Your team must work their way up the ranks from 0. This stopped the problem of teams getting little or no points from winning games and losing 20 or so points from losing in the original ranking system. (Really pissed me off) The big hit of the new patch was the new raid, Ulduar. The new bosses are insanely rough and hard to take down. My guild has only conquered 2 of them as of now. The first boss in Ulduar requires the use of siege vehicles. (new from WotLK) Ill let you guys check it out for yourselves. =) Ulduar More postings to come…later.

Hey there! My name is Jordan Huseman. I am 19 years old and am currently attending Capital University. I am a percussionist majoring in Music Technology. I live a wonderful life. I enjoy listening to music, drawing, playing video games, drumming, tennis, and most of all being with my friends. Music is a huge part of my life and I think always will be. I am currently sitting hear listening to my roommate’s Reason project. His name is Tony and well he is awesome. He is composing a hard core electronic/techno song that is pretty BA. Which reminds me….i’ll have to post some of my compositions later. I also play a lot of World of Warcraft. (I know nerd right…oh well. deal with it. =p) I’ll be posting a lot of info about the game as well as strategies, specs, and class info for other WoW players. Well enough for now…later.
