I haven’t blog here for a very long time! For a while, I worked at several jobs, was making good money, but than, I got laid off from one my job. As for now, I am making a decent living but I am not making as much money as I want. While being busy working outside, I had find some times to write articles on HubPages. Some articles had done well, other didn’t. But anyhow, I enjoy my time on HubPages. Really strange sometime how can life can keep you away from little things and this blog was one of them. But I am back!

I wanted to begin a job search and seek for another job but as for now, I decide to put this project on hold, because I had a pretty bad experience with my recent laid off at BMO Bank of Montreal because I got fired just before the RSP season. There was a 6 months tried out related to the job and I was at about 3 months when I got laid out. I had been treated like shit and I haven’t been able to proof my skills as a sale person. Because BMO Bank of Montreal, at the Montreal call centre, it was all about sales. I was doing great, but my supervisor decides to lay off me because I wasn’t quick enough, that the calls were not fluent enough, not enough sales… But also, that I was considered as a danger for BMO Bank of Montreal because once, a customer that I had put on hold hang up. There wasn’t too much floor support at BMO Bank of Montreal. In many occasions, the supervisor herself couldn’t answer many questions I asked her, she often refer to other persons of the team. She wasn’t really available to answer questions and same thing to the co-supervisors. Those 2 were quite busy and sometimes, it could get long before someone get to answer. Also, we had been poorly train. One of the trainers was very aggressive with me. After a couple of weeks working at BMO Bank of Montreal, I applied for a credit line, which I received, among with a credit card. I guess I also been victim of jealousy because I have a 5 stars credit score, my credit is well establish since 2005.

After giving a 5 000$ credit line and a 4 000$ credit card, BMO Bank of Montreal fired me, this being after 3 months of work, which is very unfair. They could had giving me another one month for the try-out, I would had made a good job. I didn’t have too much experience in the banking sector when I started working at BMO Bank of Montreal, but I had experience in credit and investment. I am myself an investor since 2005. I am currently working at reaching 100 000$ in assets. I am currently at 87 000$. And I am doing well. Not only did BMO Bank of Montreal laid off a good employee, but laid off a pretty good investor. On my way to reach my first 100 000$, I use a bit of leverage, and it’s working extraordinary well. Since 2005, we acquire some investment skills. Ever since the early beginner, our assets continue to grow, despite recession and bad treatment coming from BMO Bank of Montreal. We never been stopped in any aspect of our live and as a New Brunswicker, I won’t let myself slow down by Quebeckers. Especially now that NB Power now officially belong ONLY to New Brunswickers. No one is on my way, New Brunswickers are unbeatable. When you get to this lever of personal skills (check myfirst50000.com to understand what I am taking about), you have to be ready to eat shit. BMO Bank of Montreal makes me eat shit and my laid off of BMO Bank of Montreal mark a new beginning in our journey. So welcome us back on my 200 project blogs that had turned mostly in a 200 all-you-can-do project. And BMO Bank of Montreal can kiss my ass.

Using HubPages to make money from Google AdSense

It had been a very long time I didn’t visit Amy Bass web page My Debt Free Goal. It’s with her I discover HubPages. HubPages had excited for a while now, but I haven’t ever heard about it… Why? LOL

See, HubPages is very fun to use. HubPages is not like Associated Content: your article doesn’t need to wait for approval before getting publishes on the Web. Which mean that as soon as you feel that your article is ready, you can actually publish it within a matter of seconds. HubPages is perfect for me! It’s easy to set-up an account, very user-friendly and, watch out: It’s allow you to register your very own Google AdSense account, Ebay and other if you are register with any pay-per-link program. So far, I am only register with Google Adsense, but I plan to register to other program that HubPages propose to use to make money.

Yesterday, I wrote and publish my first article on HubPages! And check it out, I just did a seach in Google with the following sentence: a taste of recession in my mouth. The sentence belongs to my first article I publish on HuPages. I find my article as 6th result on Google! Awesome! Never any of the articles I publish on my blogs got, I believe so well ranked. I haven’t been too much active on my different blogs so far, other than My First 50 000$. This is an exciting time for me as I am currently very close to reach my first 50 000$ value in investment.

I am currently out of weekend job. It’s giving me the chance to blog and to do whatever I want!

I subscribe not so long time ago to John Chow newsletter. And I am glad I did! I learn by John Chow that Jeremy "ShoeMoney" Schoemaker had started a new program, an Internet Marketing Course for beginners like myself, free to join! Of course, I register to the course right away. Shortly after, I was receiving my first week of course. The first course is an introduction, easy to understand, a PDF document of about 11 pages. ShoeMoney provide usual tips on how to start. He also talks a bit about himself. Beautiful story and you will be amaze by his easy way to look at the whole Internet Marketing deal.

Working at being searchable part II: MSN search engine

Quick update

Time pass so quickly! I have so little time in hand to complete all of my projects (consult previous post)! I currently had submit The 200 Project Blogs to Blog Catalog. I also submit The 200 Project Blogs to some social bookmarking. I am not with it still. But in the meantime, to do a change, I submit my blogs to the MSN search engine.

Submitting The 200 Project Blogs to MSN search engine

Since I already had a hotmail email address, I log into the Live Search – Webmaster Center with my current hotmail ID.

Here are the steps taking in order to register your blog to MSN search engine:

1. Once log in, you will arrived at a page name “Site List”. Click on “Add a site”.
2. Enter your URL under “Web address”. Click “Submit”.
3. A new page show up title “Authenticate your ownership of your website”. Go under “Meta tag authentification”. Copy the meta tag.
4. Save the meta tag just before or after the Yahoo! one in your HTML blog template. Once completed, click on “Return to Site List”.
5. Click on the URL. A message saying that your blog had been authentify will quickly appears. After what, you will arrive to the summary of your URL.

Nice job, your registration is now completed!

I follow those steps for my major blogs. My blogs have now been registered in Google, Yahoo! and MSN.

Next project: complete the registration of all of my blogs to Blog Catalog and complete the social bookmarking step.

Getting started: upcoming projects

I work extremely well last night. I work until 5AM in the morning. As I wake up (at 1:30PM lol), first thing I did is again, start my computer and log online. I have a quick look at my Yahoo! email and… surprise, My First 50 000$ had been approved and is now from Blog Catalog!

Next step will be to register the blogs I have open recently and who have relevant content. I am thinking of Advertisement for Blogs, International Organization of Prepaid Workers, Happy and Simple Living. At this time, I am currently active on 5 blogs, which is a good start, knowing how much time and effort it can take. Blogging is so much fun!

Those little steps will probably keep me busy for the rest of the week. But the sooner I will be done with it, the better it will be.

What I like about this project, The 200 Project Blogs, is that it’s allowing me to share all the steps I am talking among the way. And I just hope I will be able to reach my goal one day and received a Google check. Wouldn’t be fun?

Working at being searchable: Yahoo! search engine

Now that I am done with the social bookmaking step, my next project for My First 50 000$ is to submit the Web site to the major search engine. I already submit My First 50 000$ to Google, but to Google only. My next project will be to submit my Web site to Yahoo! and other search engines. I was able to submit my blog to Google search engine through their Google Webmaster tool. But for Yahoo!, I have no clue on how to proceed. I did a search on Blog Catalog and I went through a wonderful site, call Tips and Tricks. I find all the tips I need on how to get my Web site add to the Yahoo! search engine.

Here’s a summary of my own steps taking in order to register to Yahoo! search engine:

1. Log in into the Yahoo! Site Explorer with my Yahoo! ID (the same ones you use for your Yahoo! email)
2. Click on “My sites” located on the left column. Inside the space bar, insert your blog address and click “Add My Site”.
3. Click on “Explore” – which is just next to your blog link. You will probably get the result “Invalid Request”. But no problem, continue with step 4.
4. Click on “Submit it for free” and after “Submit a Website or Webpage”. Enter again the URL of your blog and click “Submit URL”. After what, you should be reading the following: “Thank you! Your URL has been added to our list of URLs to crawl. Please expect a delay of several weeks before your URL is crawled”.
5. Return back to the main menu by clicking on “My Sites”.
6. Manually click on the new URL. Right next to “Authentification Status”, click on “New”.
7. Click on “By adding a META tag to my home page”. Copy the meta tag that appears in bold.
8. Open your Blogger account. Access to your blog.
9. In your Blogger account, select “Layout” and than “Edit HTML”.
10. Right on the top of the template, directly below:

head (with symbols <> after the d)
b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/ (with symbols <> after the /).

Save your Yahoo! meta tag. But just before the > symbol, add /. If you don’t do so, you won’t be able to save your template.
11. Click on “Save template”.
12. Go back at your Yahoo! Site Explorer page. Click on “Ready to Authenticate”. After what, you should read: “Your site has been authenticated”.

I plan to repeat this operation for all of my blogs…

The social bookmarking for my main blog is now completed

This step was quitted long. It took me sometimes as I had to create a new account for all different social markers found in the Web site socialmarker.com. But now that my accounts are all created, I will be able to, later on, submit all of my blogs and also submit by favorite links. So far, for all of those social markers, I submit my main blog, My First 50 000$. I am happy to be done with this first step.

About Blog Catalog

I find another great site where to advertise my blogs. This Web site is not from socialmarker.com. It’s call blogcatalog.com. Blog Catalog is very great. You can submit your blog for free. You need to confirm the ownership of your blog by adding one of their widgets or by adding a meta tag in the HTML template of your blog. For my part, I add a widget. The registration for My First 50 000$ is currently Pending. It should take about 48 hours to be completed. Blog Catalog is very nice to consult.

Slowly building my empire one blog at a time: my activities so far

This post title is very funny. But it’s actually what I am trying to do.

I start the week badly yesterday as I wasn’t up to do that much. I was feeling tired when I wake up and for today, I wake very late, at noon. I arrived from work around 1 AM. After what I usually stay online until 2:30AM – the latest. Usually, I am good to wake up around 10AM and sometime earlier, which I really like.

I begin to slowly begin to feel the result of my hard work on the traffic on my blogs. I am not reaching the 200 visitors per day yet, but the number is slowly increasing and seems to be relatively stable. For all of my blogs included, I have an average of 35 visitors per day. This is not too bad at all, since I start with an average of 10 visitors per day.

Here are some actions I took in order to increase the number of my visitors (all free BTW):

-Social Bookmarking
I subscribe to some social bookmarking that I find on socialmarker.com.

I complete the registration to the first column list so far.

-Active on forum: My Lot and Twitter

-Visit some other people blogs and leave some comments

-Write several posts for my blogs

The results could had been better if I would had work harder in each of those tips, but I am happy with the result I had so far and like I said, I am slowly building my empire… I am still waiting for my first Google AdSense check.

Slowly getting searchable…

My multiple blogs are slowly getting searchable. I regulary do some search for some of my keys word in the Google Blog Search. Until now, I was not ale to find any of my key word for my most recent blogs, Advertisement for Blogs, International Organization of Prepaid Workers, and this current blog, The 200 Project Blogs.

But the good news is: I am slowly getting searchable!

Here are some examples of search that came with positive results:

For Advertisement for Blogs

I conduct the search “elegant template” in Google Blog Search. And Advertisement for Blogs is on the third place in the search results. For the search “free pixel ads for bloggers” in Google Blog Search, Advertisement for Blogs is on the first place. I also conduct a sentence search “Being active on forums can help to bring traffic to your blog”. Always in Google Blog Search, Advertisement for Blogs arrives on the 10th place.

Conclusion: In order to increase the search results, I think the best is to post on a regular basis. But this won’t be easy to do, since I have several blogs I am currently working on at this time.

For International Organization of Prepaid Workers (IOPW)

I use the expression “prepaid worker” several times, but when I search the expression in Google Blog Search, IOPW appears no where. So far, I only 3 posts are elaborating about the International Organization of Prepaid Workers. Maybe the number of post needs to increase before my favorite’s expression can become searchable in Google tool.

It’s now that I find out that My First 50 000$ is very well index. When I perform the search “prepaid workers”, the first result is coming from My First 50 000$, and not from the International Organization of Prepaid Workers. Intriguing, isn’t? Especially knowing that prepaid workers is from the title of my IOPW blog. I thing that IOPW than should arrived on the first place. But it’s not the case.

But I am not too surprise, I had been blogging for My First 50 000$ for 3 years now and I almost have 200 posts of my original writing in it. The key might be in regular and quality posting. Maybe later on IOPW will become fully searchable just like Advertisement for Blogs or My First 50 000$.

Never without my coffee

I worked last night on My First 50 000$, my major blog. I want to continue to be actively blogging on this blog because I had been working on that one for 3 years and I wouldn’t like that my other blogs begin to take too much of my time. It probably won’t ever happen because I really enjoy My First 50 000$ - it’s my first Web site. I blog about my investments and some of my investments are well-ranked in Google search (I actually did some tests). Of course, my ranking could be improve in the results, but knowing all the major and specialize sites that exist in Canada about stocks, mutual funds and others, well, I find myself in a pretty good position, knowing I am do not have access to the same sophistical tools than the major players to improve my ranking in search results.

Trying to be organize

Time pass by very quickly. I had to leave today to do some groceries and well, in the meantime, I didn’t have the time to write as much as I wanted on my blogs today. Life by itself can be very consuming. And not to talk about working as, in top of that I have 2 jobs… The trick is I am trying to do one little thing per day, and the rest of the time, I can blog or do anything I want. But most of the time, I spend my free time blogging. And when I don’t have time to blog, when I do not even the time write one little post, I just miss it.

I usually connect to my computer as soon as arrived home, which is always around 1AM. And I made myself some coffees. When I don’t feel too much tired, and I easily spend the whole night on the Internet. Once I feel that what I wanted to do is complete, I go to bed. Sometimes, I wake early, sometimes I don’t. I work 7 days a week at my 2 jobs and adding the time to blog to my schedule is not always easy but I enjoy it very much. The best will be to plan a time to write, another time to be active on forums, and some other time to visit some other blogs and leave comments if I have something to say. It could seem like something that can be easily achievable but it’s not. Being an active blogger is not an easy task and the money do not come easily either.

I have other ideas, but I just didn’t have the time to develop others yet. I just to be able to realize the other blogs I have in mind later on as I enjoy all of them, but it’s true I have my favorites one. And will see if I can make money from Google AdSense with all of those original posts of mine. I just like this little challenge!

I had many ideas and different project I want to work on. Blogging is so much fun!

Progress and learning phase

I am still at an early stage of my project, but I had been able to post in many of my blogs so far. I am in the process where I want to develop more content for each of my blogs. But I am quite realist with it. Among my favorite, this current blog, My First 50 000$ and Advertisement for Blogs. The trick is to write in all of my blogs even if I have my preference. At the end, I might only be actively blogging on 3 blogs.

I wouldn’t mind if it’s something that would had to happen. I am quite realistic with it as I probably won’t be able to be active on 200 blogs at the same time anyway :)

My Google AdSense Challenge and how I plan to make it happen

Now that I officially open almost 15 blogs, my Google AdSense Challenge is officially launch! I am only missing like about 180 other blogs now! What a crazy challenge! The whole things help to keep me busy. I don’t want to spend my 9am to 15pm by doing absolutely nothing until I begin job searching. And this goal is giving me the opportunity to do what I like to do and at the same time, practice my English without opening spam blogs, just some good dynamic writing of mine.

A have a couple of good ideas for other blogs. But to those different blogs, I need to drive some traffic… I was doing some test; I try to find some key words of mine I had into my recent blogs into the Google Blog Search tool, but I couldn’t find any. Seem like my new blogs have not been indexed by Google yet.

But for this kind of situation, Google has a tool for users of its platform Blogger, its call Add your blog to Blog Search. You just need to add your blogger address in and press the key “Submit Blog” and that’s all. I just did so for all of my new blogs. Hope it will help! I was feeling like almost desperate, not to be able to find my great new blogs on Google Blog Search. But I remember my very first blog, Homespace. For this one, also back than, I had problems at first to find some of my own key words, like my blog was not searchable via the Google Blog Search tool. But it’s become searchable later on. Indexation may take some time, as it’s a blog and not a Web site – maybe its part of the problem. In the meantime, waiting for my blogs to become fully searchable, I can begin to add content and blog like crazy. Sometimes, life is good like that!

Yesterday, I add all of my new blog to my Google Webmaster Central. I highly recommend the Webmaster Central. I am a beginner at building Web sites and blogs, but each time, when I refer myself to Google tools, the result are there and it’s so user-friendly and so simple to use. The only problem I had been with Google Analytic. Just bits more complicate. But I didn’t have time to set-up correctly the whole thing yet.

I just hope to become fully searchable very soon!

200 blogs: I am slowly getting started

Because life is an adventure. To come out with 200 blogs original idea is difficult. 200 blogs represent a lot of work and… a lot of writing lol. As its seem I cannot get published on Associated Content, I do not need any authorization of anyone to open 200 blogs.

So far, I find myself 20 or so blogs topic. The idea is to get started with as many blogs as possible, get a nice template (which is not easy either) and post at least one relevant post under the opening of each one. What a crazy project! But so far, I like it and it make something to invest myself in. It’s seem like the more I write, the more ideas come to my mind for posts. And I find it very cool.

In another 2 weeks from now, I will be actively job searching. In the mean time, I want to launch as many niche blogs as possible. It’s really not easy as its sound to come with multiple ideas and concept for all of these blogs. Once I will have a day-time job, the biggest challenge will be to continue my activities as a blogger, write and post and so on… The challenge won’t be that much about ideas but more on time management. 200 blogs will keep me busy-busy. Among the way, I might become more involve in some of them.

What the 200 project blogs is all about…

This idea of 200 project blogs came at first from another blog of mine, Advertisement for blogs. On the post of May 15th, I came with the final conclusion: knowing how difficult is to drive traffic to a blog or Web site, instead of having one major blog, which for me is another blog of mine, call My First 50 000$ and trying to reach the 100 000 visitors and up on that only page, why not trying to get 10 visitors per day on multiple blogs? This might be achievable. And this is actually how get started The 200 project blogs.

My goal is to set-up 200 blogs and to make 200$ per month from Google Adsense. The whole concept can sound crazy and stupid, but I had been actively blogging since 2007 and since that time, I never been able to make some money online.

I lose one of my jobs a couple of weeks ago and since that time, I had been investigating and very work hard at trying to make money online. And one way that appears to be correct to make money online is to start different blogs, with all different contents and original ideas from mine.

So far, I have about 20 good topics for blogs that I feel comfortable with. As for the rest, I do not know for sure if I will be able to build and find ideas for 180 blogs. But this is not really what matter for me. It’s just the fun behind the concept. But I will definitely try to make money online form my blogs – as much as I can possibly can.

I want to launch each blog one-by-one, with valuable content and regular posting. By regular posting, once I will be working during day-time, I mean a monthly or even better, bi-weekly posting. I do not plan to purchase a domain for each blogs. Only my major blog had its own domain address.

This blog will content updates on The 200 Project Blogs of mine and I plan to post in some summaries and comments on my different blogs.

I probably won’t be able to start 200 blogs by the end of May (beginning of June I will begin job searching for a day-time salaried occupation…). The overall project is not about opening 200 blogs by the end of May – it’s to try something different to make it happen. It’s more about self-achieving and « try to » make money online and, by the same occasion, improve my English (I am French Canadian) and, later on, be published on Associated Content (2 times I had been refused already).
