The author of this project is Andrei Mehiläinen.This project is very simple thermometer with PIC16F88, two LM35 sensors and KS0108 graphic LCD.The code is written for CCS C compiler. There’s also Proteus VSM simulation file and compiled hex file.The Author also has completed a number of interesting projects, like: Project MapViewer, Audio spectrum analyzer, GPS logger on PIC16F88 and many more microcontroller projects.

Picture Frame with PIC 24HJ256GP206

This project is based on PIC 24HJ256GP206 processor and add a dash of knock-off touchscreen and a pinch of SD card compatibility for a DIY digital picture frame. [Daniel] wrote his own driver for the HX8347 controlled LCD that can achieve 15 FPS at 320×240 resolution with 16-bit color. As this was a gift for his wife, [Daniel] included a heart-shaped ring of LEDs that fade in and out like an electronic pulse.

CNC Milling Machine for Under $100

This CNC milling machine that costs less than $100 (currently $87) to build. It can mill PCBs, wood, and even mild steel. All of the machine’s structure is MDO and is designed to be milled on the ShopBot. The leadscrews and leadscrew nuts require drilling and tapping operations that are preferrably perfomed on a lathe. The stepper motor drive board must be assembled and integrated with the control software. The remainder of the assembly tasks are designed to be completed with hand tools.
