Apple iPhone 5S/6

Though Apple has not announced its next generation smartphone, rumors are rife regarding the successor to the iPhone 5. It could be named iPhone 5S or iPhone 6. This smart device is rumored to come with a fingerprint scanner under its home button and a faster A7 processor. There is buzz of this new Apple device ready for launch this summer.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Expectations have been high after the success of Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which sold 5 million units in just 2 months. Remember, Samsung has not revealed plans for the Note 3. But the rumors point to a device with a 5.9 inch screen with 1080 pixel resolution Super AMOLED display. Also, it is rumored to feature a more square and rigid design.

Apple’s low cost iPhone

The iPhone Math, a low-cost iPhone featuring a large screen is rumored to launch along the same time as Apple’s next generation phone. This budget device is supposed to come with a 4.8-inch screen.

HTC One Mini

Though not announced, a much more pocket-friendly HTC One Mini is rumored. The device is likely to feature a 4.3-inch display and a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor. The launch could most likely take place in Q3 of 2013.

ZTE Open

The entry-level ZTE Open runs Mozilla’s brand new Firefox OS and will be powered by a Cortex A5 processor. Features include a 3.5-inch touch screen display. The ZTE Open will premiere in Spain, Venezuela and Colombia in mid-2013, and then will reach the US and Europe later on.

Blackberry A10

Blackberry A10, to be launched during the 2013 holiday season, is a high-end smartphone designed to compete against its rival Samsung’s Galaxy S4. This will be a touch screen handset and will reportedly to go on sale on Sprint in November.

ASUS FonePad Note

Asus launched its FonePad Note, a 6.1-inch phablet at this year’s computex. This is a 6.1 phablet with 3G connectivity boasting a 1080p IPS touchscreen display. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean and features a slew of note-taking apps. Its lack of LTE is a drawback for the North American market.

Google Nexus 5

The successor of Nexus 4, Google Nexus 5, is somewhere in line for launch, but not yet confirmed by Google. It is rumored to be powered with a graphics-intensive Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will run the next version of Android OS. It will feature a 5.2-inch OLED 1080p display. It is also rumored to come with an upgraded 13 MP camera.

Nokia Lumia 925

Finnish manufacturer Nokia’s Lumia 925 was launched in the UK and Germany and is yet to land in the US. This new device comes with a new metallic design featuring a 4.5-inch AMOLED display and 8.7 MP rear snapper. The smart device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor with 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory storage.

Sporting a strikingly great design like the name, Beats by Dr. Dre Pill punches with great sound quality and volume for its smaller size. Features include tap -to-pair for NFC enabled mobile devices and has Apt-X technology. Beats Pill goes for $ 167.79, but has reported issues running along with iOS 6.

Creative D100

For $52.88 apiece, Creative D100 is good for the buck you spend. It gives brilliant bass production with its dual 3-inch drivers. D100 runs on four AA batteries and doesn’t have functionalities like speakerphone or remote control.

Samsung DA-E750

This one is the rich kid on our list, but is the most beautiful audio dock with Airplay and Bluetooth support. Sounds great, but the $700 premium price point doesn’t make it any exceptional compared with other speakers.

Essentially, it’s based on the idea that eating too quickly can lead to all sorts of bad things like weight gain, indigestion and reflux. The electronic fork has inbuilt sensors which measure how many times you bring your fork from your plate to your mouth and back again (one “fork serving”) during a meal, and sends off an alarm if it detects that you are eating too quickly. This is probably the most interesting accessory for those users that want to protect their new Galaxy S4.
