How to Withdrawal PayPal Funds to local or US bank

Log into your PayPal account, click on ‘Withdraw’.
Click on the ‘Withdraw funds to your bank account’ link.
Enter the withdrawal amount and select the bank account, then click ‘Continue’.

How to Request a Cheque From PayPal

Log into your PayPal account, click on ‘Withdraw’.
Click on the ‘Request a cheque from PayPal’ link and It usually takes 4 to 6 working days to process the cheque.
Enter the withdrawal amount and select your mailing address, then click ‘Continue’.
Click ‘Submit’ to confirm your request.

How To Reset iPhone and iPod touch

If an application or a feature is not working, then you will need to reset your iPhone or iPod touch in order to resolve the issue. To do this, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

How To Reset iPod with a Click Wheel

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold and turn it off again).
Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons together for about 6 to 8 seconds, until the Apple logo appear. Ensure that the finger pressing the Select button is not touching the click wheel and that you are pressing the Menu button towards the outside of the click wheel, and not near its center.

How To Reset iPod with scroll wheel, touch wheel and iPod dock connector

Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold and turn it off again)
Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons together for about 6 to 8 seconds, until the Apple/iPod logo appears. If it does not work you may need to repeat this step.

If the above steps do not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet, or connect your iPod to the computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and it is not set to go to sleep.

How To Reset iPod shuffle

Disconnect the iPod shuffle from your computer (if connected).
Move the switch to the OFF position. Tip: When iPod shuffle is off, the green stripe near the switch is not visible. Wait 5 seconds.
Move the switch to the “play in order” or the “shuffle” position. Now the green stripe will be visible in either position. For iPod shuffle 2nd generation, just slide the power switch on (so you can see the green stripe).

Please be aware that when you reset an iPod all your music and files will be automatically saved. However, some of your custom settings may be lost. Other customized settings, such as Bookmarks, Shuffle, Backlight timer, On-The-Go Playlists, and so forth will be automatically saved from the last time the hard drive turned on.

Couple of days back PayPal has stopped local bank withdrawals to Indian users and the only way to get money from PayPal is to request for a Cheque. But very soon to everyone’s surprise PayPal has sent out another mail saying that Indian PayPal users can continue to enjoy electronic withdrawals just as before.

Without any clear reasons PayPal has sent out an email to its users saying that they restored the electronic withdrawal service to Indian users. Moreover PayPal will still provide the $5 USD processing fee refund for any cheque withdrawals made from July 29, 2010 until further notice.

Google has introduced the “remote wipe” feature in the Android 2.2 Froyo Update, to the general public. This administrator feature has been created by a member of the XDA developer forum, Vespera Novus. This particular feature in the software permits your device to automatically wipe itself clean, conditionally. That is, if the conditions that have been set are applicable then this application will wipe the memory in the device.

However, to perform the memory wipe feature, the user must have enabled the administrator. This “Autowipe” feature is particularly helpful when your device containing confidential data and information gets stolen or lost.

So, how does this feature work? Firstly, you need to set some conditions, which on being satisfied will cause the memory to be wiped off automatically. So, what are those conditions? Well, you can set conditions like unsuccessful attempts to unlock the screen using passwords, Password received via SMS or Subscriber ID altered(change in SIM card). So, now suppose that your device has got stolen and the person who stole it attempts to unlock the screen using his own password. The administrator recognizes this unsuccessful attempt because of the condition set. And since the administrator has encountered the set condition, the application wipes of the data from the device’s memory, automatically. This prevents misuse or theft of confidential information stored in the devices.

Following numerous complaints on Apple support forums and various tech blogs with regard to the performance issues of iOS 4 encountered by users of iPhone 3G, Apple has said that it is investigating the issue. In fact, these issues had been on the backburner as Apple was focusing on complaints about iPhone 4 antenna issues. BTW Apple is giving away free bumper cases for iPhone 4 users.

iPhone 3G users who had upgraded to latest iOS 4 have been facing 3 major issues,

Performance is slow after an upgrade to the new OS
Battery is drained quickly, hence requiring frequent recharge
When in use, the phone is getting heated up very quickly

Although these issues are not uncommon in any other iPhone, the recurring issues have annoyed the iPhone 3G users making them vent out their ire on Apple Support forums. As such, the latest iOS 4 from Apple is great, but it is not compatible with older versions of iPhone, except the iPhone 3G and 3GS. However, features such as multitasking are not working on 3G.

Adding to these is another issue, those users of iPhone 3G who had upgraded to iOS 4 and wanting to downgrade to an older OS, are encountering problems as well. Downgrading to an older OS seems to be a difficult task. However, the only option seems to be restoring the iPhone to factory settings. This too is not without an issue, since restoring to factory settings deletes any information you have stored on your iPhone.

So if you haven’t yet upgraded your iPhone 3G to iOS 4.0 then do wait for sometime until Apple clearly comes out with a solution.
