The degree of separation is indeed being marginalised. We will soon meet at the edge of the forest where the light from the pond is being refracted into myriads of little sparks igniting everything in their wake. These are auspicious times as you will soon know the true meaning of the word soon. As the mountains yet again shrugh off their pallour, so will you all stand before the rest of mankind in your true splendour. Nothing can ever again hide the magnificence and the true essence of the universe transfiguring you all in the face of the many. They too will have the choice of lessening their burden and enter into the realms of the multiverse, where they will yet again meet up with their true selves. So much more magnificent than they could ever imagine.

The vision may be too much for many, but those of you who are firmly rooted in this belief, know that this is no monster, but truly the heavenly gates opening up for you all. We are always here beside you as you reside in the earthly realms. For many of you, this is the last time you will step gingerly upon these shores. You will from now on step boldly forth being who you truly are. And nothing more will be left to the imagination. The outcome of this is not yet clear, as the potential for change also holds the potential for several fortuitous outcomes. This is the prize you get for ”playing” this game; being creators of the new world and deciding which wrongs to right and the right way to do it. So you are truly blameless for all the misgivings and misfortunes which has befallen so many on this planet. Remember – the choice of self molestation so to speak has been the choice for generations. Thereby trodding these steps so deep it is difficult to see over the rutted tracks of forefathers toiling on this hard path for generation after generation. Now you have stepped out of these ruts, and you can see the horizon and know that the green grass is waving gently in the breeze, glittering in the warm sunlight.

The ruts of toil are ready to soften again as no steps churn them deeper into the earth. Instead, the tears of joy will soften the clay and moisten it so the germs of the new seeds can take root and cover up these tracks of tears so that no one needs step into them ever again. The trap will no longer trap the unwary, and the harm they have done will linger only faintly on the landscape of tomorrow. Like a reminder of where you have been and beseeching the glory and the joy you now have cavorting on the green fields in your picnic with love. We are therefore not the only ones beholden to you, the forerunners. The generations to come will venerate you and hold you in their highest esteem, as those who broke the mold and made it possible for them to finally realise heaven here on Earth.

So be proud of your achievements, dear child of the living God. The burden is never light, but the golden kingdom is yours for the taking. The mighty conquerors you are, not with steels of sword, but with wisdom, tears and self doubt you have conquered the mightiest mountain of all. Your own ego, showing you only your imagined short comings and lack of manifestation. Its time is now up, and it is writhing in agony as it finds that all the exits it previously used to lure you into self-debilitation, are now blocked up by light. Like the ancient trolls it will burst into flames as the light touches its very core. This cauterization is what burns you now, the pain searing through as the wounds are being readied for new growth and permanent fixture. You are being healed, true friends, as you are becoming whole. The new you will take some time getting used to, as the physical self cannot yet maintain all the light being incorporated in your Higher self just as yet. Like toddlers, you will stumble and graze your knees. But like loving mothers we will comfort you and take pride in your every step. No matter how much you stumble or the setbacks you have, the goal is within sight. Soon, yes very soon, you will stand firmly and walk with great pride into the golden horizon. Remember this, if the days ahead are full of cuts and bruises. Inch by inch you gain valuable ground. And you can never be turned back, whatever tries to hinder you. We salute you all, and gaze proudly upon you, the Children of tomorrow´s world. How beautiful you all are!”

The Future is Looking Good

Many were waiting for the grand shift December 21st 2012. There was a shift yet it was the beginning not the ending. The dramatic things people were expecting on the day did not happen, nor was it meant too. There was a setting of the energy for the days to come and the sensitives and adepts were the only ones who really felt and understood what happened. This gave way to the naysayers yet as we all know the big events happen soon after the skeptics have their say. We are now in those changes. One media news piece burst after another along with other rays within the electromagnetic spectrum are bombarding us. The magnetic poles are shifting weakening opening up the Earth to more consciousness, light and energy. There is a great transformation happening, the wheat is being separated from the chaff and how that translates to today's society those who align with the wounded egos are being separated from those who align with the soul and spirit. Those operating outside of universal law are receiving the hard lessons, their deeds are surfacing being exposed and the reactions to their actions are being accelerated. The alignment with Galactic plane the end of the 25,000 year cycle is the main player in this unfoldment.

The ego, wounded and manipulated by social consciousness and the satanic network can no longer operate within the new incoming frequencies. We are being given a choice yet each path leads in a different direction. The path to ascension aligning with our soul and spirit fulfilling our contracts we made before we incarnated moving with Earth in her evolutionary process. Moving to the next level living in peace and harmony with each other and nature is the wise choice. The path to descension the downward spiral driven by a wounded ego and the programming of the matrix leads to social, economic and environmental collapse. This is where the hard lessons reside. You cannot resurrect the past due to choices made by a wounded ego, the programming of the matrix influenced by the satanic network. This will cause you the greatest pain and insecurity. That world is the chaff and it is coming to a close. Lines are being drawn, polarities are being amplified and those who refuse to align with soul and spirit are of no use to soul and spirit. Their world will be one of disarray, hardship and their bodies will fail.

There are symptoms of this process. Your bodies will begin to talk with you some will scream at you. As they try to adjust to the new energies pains and diseases will come and go rapidly. There will be times of dizziness, spacing out, jumping between worlds then asking where am I and where have I been feeling out of sorts. This is often from slipping in and out of dimensions. The veils between worlds are very thin and those on the path to ascension are moving back and forth. You will see lights, wavy energies, and flashes in your peripheral vision. Many will feel they just don't belong anymore in jobs, relationships, even geographical areas. Some will gravitate toward higher expressions some will fall back into the old ways. You cant drag your loved ones with you in this process all you can do is hold the light, the consciousness, allow others their path even if you know the outcome. They may need the hard lessons and that is the way their soul set it up. Many actually believe they can choose the wounded and programmed ego drive and get away with it. They believe in ignorance they can choose against the path of soul and spirit enve act against universal law. News flash you soul and spirit have a different program for you and it will be as hard as you make it.

We are in those times all the prophets, saints and sages have warned us about. It is undeniable yet beyond even my own imagination there are still those who are denying it. Their soul and spirit along with the source itself have a different plan and the old world of gaining love, acceptance and approval out side of self or from social consciousness is also coming to an end. Exacting self worth though outer appearances and material acquisition is no longer applicable. Why? Because this society is so dysfunctional and wounded it has nothing more to offer. The ugliest and most painful trick you can play on yourself is aligning with it. Where is the security in aligning with a sick corrupt unconscious world imploding in on itself?

The only real security is aligning with soul and spirit, stepping out of the old world and creating a new world driven by soul and spirit from within. Leave the dysfunction of the past behind you, let go of the old ways that no longer serve you, humanity or the Earth. Let go of the false security created by the insecurities within and make your own personal God/Spirit/Creator connection. Let that decide your future. Anything else will take you to the same fate at the chaff.

You are not alone in this process. The beautiful many saints, sages and masters as well as benevolent off worlders, the Gods of old are all part of this process. Not the jealous wrathful images and regenerate ETs the greater family of man. This is a grand unstoppable event. We can flow with it without resistance or we can brace against it with resistance. The second path goes into the resistance is futile category. Try stopping a tsunami or warring on consciousness, light and energy far beyond your imagination. They will both end with the same result. Time to release the past, be kind to yourself and others and get with the program. Align with soul and spirit become the wheat because harvest day is fast approaching for some it is just around the corner. Be well and choose wisely

Some Native American Wisdom

When a man sits down in the quietness to listen to the teachings of the spirit, many things will come to him in knowledge and understanding. There is wisdom in youth and there is wisdom in age. One is loud, and seeking ~ the other is silent and true. American Indians share a history rich in diversity, integrity, culture, and tradition...it also is rich in tragedy, deceit and genocide. As the world learns of these atrocities and cries out for justice for all people everywhere, no human being should ever have to fear for their life because of political, or religious beliefs. We are in this together, my friends, the rich, the poor, the red, the white, black, brown and yellow. We share responsibility for Mother Earth and those who live and breathe upon her...never forget that We think of things in terms of roundness. All things have a roundness to them; the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, the stars, the trees and rocks all have roundness, and humans have roundness as well. The lodges we build ~ our sweatlodge, our tepee ~ are also round because we want to acknowledge the wholeness of Creation.

For thousands of years, Native people have said, this is our Mother Earth. You can't take from her all the time, you have to give back to her...you can't take, take, take,...you have to say your prayers and only take what you need. You must keep in harmony and balance with Mother Earth. The Native philosophy teaches that you never take anything from the Earth without first making your prayers..before the hunt you always make prayers and ceremonies of thanksgiving...before taking the life of the animal you say, "I have to take your life little brother, so that I can continue my own. Even as I take your life this time, the time will come when I give my life back to the Earth, I too will become the cycle of life".. To understand the nature of the things that are happening now upon the Earth Mother, we first have to understand different concepts of relating to the Earth. The Native people of Turtle Island, the North American Indians, relate to the Earth as the Mother of all living creation. Native people also believe all creatures - minerals, plants, animals, spirits - have the same right to life as humans do.

The universe has four powers - earth, air, water, and fire. Men and women are to each possess four specific virtues...four nights and days are the time spent in the pit to have a vision...the colors, red, black, yellow and white refer to the four races of man. We base our spiritual beliefs on what we see and experience while we are on our Earth journey...Memory, we experience. Pride, conscience, regret, shame, achievement, honor ~ all of these are of memory; they are windows of deeds done or left undone while we travel this earth-path journey.

It is the nature of the warrior to want to help others with their problems. Warriors train to perfect their martial arts skills in order to be able to keep those around them safe from harm. The warrior studies wisdom and gains knowledge, knowledge which can be used to assist others during their time of need. We want to provide wisdom and instruction for our families, as well as our friends and neighbors. The noble warrior has a heart for others, a heart full of empathy, but before he can help others, he must set his own heart right. Confucius put it this way, “To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.” The warrior would like to help change the world, but there are many steps that must be taken before he is able to consider doing so. The first priority is setting his own heart right. It all begins with perfecting his own character.

As much as the warrior may want to help others, if his life is a mess and he is not right on the inside, correcting his own shortcomings must be his first priority. You cannot be of much use to others if your own life is not right. This process can be likened to sharing tea with your friends. If your teapot is empty, how can you pour any tea into your friend’s cup? You can’t share what you don’t have. It is an important part of the process for your teapot to be filled before you try to fill others’ cups for them. Think about this. We used to live in the natural way, once we were in flow with the Earth and Sky energies, but today we have created a world of artificial environments and it is easy to fall out of sync with nature...in the process of moving away from nature in our relentless charge into technological progress, we have become weak and sick in our bodies...we now lack energy and creativity. Those that oppressed Earth's religions started getting worried about things they couldn't understand or control, including the powerful life energy that would come through the people who worshiped the Sacred Mother...the Earth worshipers didn't need priests; they could pray, using ceremonies and their life energies to heal.

At one time, all people upon the Earth worshiped in a sacred manner, they acknowledged the forces and powers of creation all around them, all over the world. In the United States there were some 20,000 medicine wheels, sacred circles where people would come to do their ceremonies and their praying and to seek and share knowledge with each other. We no longer reach out and embrace as brother and sisters, we no longer have a sense of responsibility to each other. We need to consider what we have done to each other and consequently, have done to Earth, since we two are so deeply connected...we need to go back to the beginnings of how we relate to all beings in creation.

Listen to all the teachers in the woods, watch the trees, the animals and all living things ~ you'll learn more from them than from books

Humanity is Awakening

Humanity’s awakening from the illusion into Reality is a done deal — it always has been, ever since the moment of creation. Reality is where you reside permanently, and you are presently returning home there, from a seemingly long and arduous journey to a most glorious welcome. You have every reason to be in high spirits. Nevertheless, at the moment it is difficult for the majority of you to perceive this because the length of time that you have spent away from home has severely dulled your memory of the glory awaiting you there.

Life in the illusion has been exhausting. There have been many painful lessons that you chose to learn while engaged with it, and they have required much energy, determination, and persistence. Nevertheless, you have remained true to yourselves and your purpose as you struggled with the experiences that life in the illusion presented to you. Often, that has not been clear as you suffered the pain and sadness caused by the apparent separation from your Father, and at times it seemed to you that yours was a lost cause: “Was there really a heavenly Father, an infinite Source, a divine and all-powerful Intelligence, or was He simply an illusion?” Well, you held to your paths – all different, but leading to the same goal: to awaken into Reality – and you will find amazing rewards when you complete them and arrive home. Hang in there for these last few stretches of the journey that seems so interminable; the end is close.

A new day of brilliance and color unlike anything that humanity has ever experienced is set to dawn, bringing you unmitigated joy as all your fears and anxieties fall away, leaving permanent peace, harmony and contentment to replace them. This is the day you have all yearned, prayed, and hoped for since you started searching for the divine Reality from which it seemed you had been excluded, shut out, perhaps even exiled, with no hope of return due to your sinfulness. But as you know, deep within yourselves where the divine and inextinguishable flame of God’s Love for you resides, “sinfulness” is of the illusion and has no place in Reality. You are immortal divine beings, created in Love, who chose to play with an absence of Love, separated from It, as you experimented with the freedom and power with which God had endowed you.

You were created One with Him and chose to individuate to experience the thrill of separation and apparent independence from Him. This could only be done by building an illusion, an unreal environment in which to imagine that state, and the powerful abilities with which you had been endowed enabled you to do so. The time has come for you to dismantle that unreal environment and return Home, leaving behind all the trauma and suffering that you invented to amuse yourselves. Little did you understand when you decided to play these games how painful and terrifying they were going to be.

There is only God! All life is part of God, He is all that exists, and without Him there would be nothing – an impossible, implausible, and inconceivable state of affairs. So to build an imaginary and illusory reality separate from Him could only lead to terror. And consequently, you have all experienced terror.

The real state of Love in which you are eternally enveloped is permanent, changeless, utterly wonderful. That is why thought of change is so traumatic for so many of you. Your move into the illusion was a change of inconceivable magnitude which caused you instant trauma, as life was reduced from a condition of total loving abundance and harmony to one of unimaginable lack where it seemed that you had to fight constantly for your very survival. And that fear remains.

However, within the illusion change is not only possible, it is essential for your well-being. The illusion is formed from a collection of judgmental beliefs of right and wrong, good and bad, acceptable and unacceptable, which can only induce fear and dread. You call it duality, a state of either/or, whereas Reality is a state of and/and, oneness, indiscriminate loving acceptance, in which all are welcome, all belong, all reside in utter joy.

What you have to change are your outworn and inflexible beliefs — beliefs that you are separate, individual, unconnected, and threatened by one another. They divide and traumatize you, encouraging you to build barriers between yourselves that disguise who you really are and present an image, a shield behind which you can hide. But these images terrify you all; they are threatening and demanding, requiring you to defend them from aggression which is almost always present. They force you, out of fear, to maintain the unreal state of separation that caused the fear in the first place. A catch-22 situation.

The new energies are intensifying so that you can feel them, embrace them, and through them recognize and reclaim your oneness with each other in Love and Trust. You will become aware, fully aware, that all are one, that all are interconnected through the divine field of Love in which all that exists resides permanently, harmoniously, joyfully, forever. And then you will have awakened.

The Inner Life and God

The first and principle thing in the inner life is to establish a relationship with God, making God the object with which we relate ourselves, such as the Creator, Sustainer, Forgiver, Judge, Friend, Father, Mother, and Beloved. In every relationship we must place God before us, and become conscious of that relationship so that it will no more remain an imagination. ...

The work of the inner life is to make God a reality, so that He is no more an imagination; that this relationship that man has with God may seem more real than any other relationship in the world; and when this happens, then all relationships, however near and dear, become less binding. But at the same time, a person does not thus become cold; he becomes more loving. It is the godless man who is cold, impressed by the selfishness and lovelessness of the world, because he partakes of those conditions in which he lives. But the one who is in love with God, the one who has established his relationship with God, his love becomes living. ...

To him all things appeal, everything unfolds itself, and it is beauty to his eyes, because God is all-pervading, in all names and all forms; therefore his Beloved is never absent. How happy therefore is the one whose Beloved is never absent, because the whole tragedy of life is the absence of the beloved; and to one whose Beloved is always there, when he has closed his eyes the Beloved is within, and when he has opened his eyes the Beloved is without. His every sense perceives the Beloved; his eyes see Him, his ears hear His voice. When a person arrives at this realization he, so to speak, lives in the presence of God; then to him the different forms and beliefs, faiths and communities do not count. To him God is all-in-all; to him God is everywhere. If he goes to the Christian church, or to the synagogue, to the Buddhist temple, to the Hindu shrine, or to the mosque of the Muslim, there is God. In the wilderness, in the forest, in the crowd, everywhere he sees God.

Relationships and the New Awakening

After the great deluge of emails and phone calls asking what is going on with all the chaos, turmoil, relationship splits, and people basically wigging out everywhere, I felt it is time to write this article. Some of the information will be a godsend, to others they will find major resistance to this information. This is often determined by which side of the fence one is on and if they are ready to heal, and take responsibility for their choices and actions. Nonetheless, universal law, and karma will have its way despite our delusions and denials. We can mentally justify many things our soul and spirit do not. Soul and spirit always have the last word. There is a 5D overlay and a vibrational lifting and healing well underway. There are cycles and waves of energy that are coming with this process. It is a natural cycle due to alignments with Galactic Plane, Alcyone, Sirius and Pulses coming in from other cosmic sources. Cosmic, Gama, X-ray, ultraviolet, infrared and other rays are bombarding the planet in ways never before experienced or recorded on the Earth. This is throughout the entire solar system. These times have all been referred to in ancient texts, the second coming where we rise into Christ or Buddha consciousness, the separation of the "sheep from the goats", the wheat from the chaff, moving into the golden age, the end of the Mayan calendar, "The beginning is Near", "Nonjudgment Day", The Great War In The Heavens etc. We have all heard this before yet few understand the dynamics and what can happen in this process.

We are going to address relationships in this process due to so many people asking us to make sense of what is happening. With this major influx of energy and during the peaks of incoming energy you will see people transform. Some for the better, and some for the worst. In the end it is all good because it is all part of a major healing, yet while you are in the midst of it we are often challenged to our very core. People are going to act out their wounds, traumas and wrong conclusions from past experience. Some will become the observer and detach others will be projecting, blaming and doing unconscious, even cruel acts you never thought they were capable of. In truth some are really not capable of such acts on their own yet they have openings, an unhealed past that allows other unseen negative influences to take over.

When this happens the only way out is to learn how to heal unseen negative influences, set firm boundaries and cut any cords keeping you attached to those affected. There are serpent energies or beings, greys, reptilians, and some, what you would call demonic beings which are using the light workers for target practice. They are trying to create as much chaos, pain and suffering possible because this insures their world will continue. They also feed off the lower vibrational energies such as anger, sadness, sorrow, fear, guilt unworthiness etc. Before they could only hook you through the first three chakras survival, sex and power yet now they use those closest to you, friends, family and lovers to hit you in the heart. There is a war for souls happening and your soul sits right next to the heart. To shut it down, shut down the ability to love knowing love is the ultimate power in the universe is one of the best weapons these unseen negative influences have to try to stop the awakening and healing of humanity and the Earth.

Many friends, family and lovers, those who are deeply wounded or do not have the inner awareness, strength, moral character and self authority to fend off these intrusions are acting out their old wounds, traumas, and wrong conclusions from past experiences. This includes the lower vibrational desires of the unseen negative influences. This is why you are seeing so many relationships ending, insane behavior, and wounded egos acting out in ways unthinkable to most. We cannot blame others for being weak, allowing them selves to be influenced or for many of the behaviors which are often totally out of character yet they have to take responsibility for their choices and actions which opened the door to these influences.

This includes the lack of interest in addressing their own wounds, traumas, wrong conclusions from past experiences choosing an ego driven life, focusing primarily on outer appearances and material aquistion. The imbalance of external focus verses internal focus and not choosing to heal as a priority is often the problem and can create the opening for these unseen negative influences. Unhealed childhood trauma, abuse, abandonment issues seem to be a common denominator as well as past life choices to engage and work with the darker forces. These all are often the openings used by unseen negative influences to destroy relationships. As if not addressing and healing our own patterns is not enough adding these unseen negative influences in the mix makes one big disaster waiting to happen. This includes the implants by regenerate greys and reptilians used to broadcast their psychopathic behavior into the mix.

It is all about consciousness and there is a war in consciousness. Holding to the universal principles and understandings necessary for a healthy society and relationship is essential in the days to come. Holding to the basics of treating others how you would like to be treated, being honest, kind, loving, caring, serving others opens the doors to higher unseen positive influences as does prayer and meditation done properly. Whenever we become trapped in the desires of the ego and the outer world, become self absorbed, selfish not caring about how our choices and actions affect others we open the door to the unseen negative influences. These influences will often support and act out these patterns of behavior through those unconscious of their unhealed patterns and the influences of these unseen negative influences. It is hard to believe that there are forces that care nothing for life, humanity or the Earth and actually live off the chaos, pain and suffering yet one only has to look at the condition of society, the environment, the wars, diseases, unbridled greed to realize this is now epidemic this has become up to the highest levels of leadership.

Now it seems to be coming home to roost, the polarities are increasing between those who have chosen to live according to universal law, a spiritual life in harmony with each other and nature and those who wish to continue to live a material life, in disharmony with each other and nature. A life focused on internal awareness, making ones own personal God/Spirit/Creator connection first and foremost as a priority verses being focused primarily on external outer appearances, material acquisition driven by the ego with all its programming in direct conflict with their soul and spirit. One is the upward path to ascension and alignment with the new 5D energies, the other is the unsustainable downward path ending in the total collapse of the old matrix. People are choosing, taking different paths, aligning with the new energies or fighting them and those who represent them. That in general is what is happening. I hope this shed some light on the chaos, challenges, behavior of some who are deeply wounded or influenced. When we know what is happening we can depersonalize it, guard against it, and heal it yet we must honor the divine right to free will and self-determination of eternal souls. They might not have chosen to ascend or get it right this time around. It is important that the light workers band together and support each other, assist those who choose to heal and release those who choose not. We cannot save others even if we know their future, there lessons are theirs hard as they may be universal law will have its way, karma will unfold in its divine time, yet time is quickening.

Here is the technique we use to heal unseen negative influences. You can use them on others because these negative influences are already trespassing and you are only affirming ones divinity not influencing them for personal gain. You can call on the House of Mary, Jesus, Baba ji, Buddha your own main teacher and guide if you know it yet it is best to use fifth dimensional beings on up beyond the astral level. They are ascended and off the wheel of life. In dealing with the darkest of the unseen negative influences call on the 7th dimensional Lion beings. They seem to be the only ones to really take care of business with this group. Maahes, Narasimha, Bacal, Caja, Sekhmet are a few of them known in history. The ancient Egyptians were fully aware of the archons as depicted in their wall paintings and how to deal with them.

Healing Technique:

Healing is a must for all those who desire to operate in other realms of consciousness. You must have self - authority and maintain control.If you are experiencing negative vibrations, they are either thought forms, limiting mental concepts,psychic bonds or discarnate entities(lost souls) in need of healing. 1. Close your aura by visualizing a white or gold light around you.

2. Call upon your chosen cultural representative of God, be it Jesus,Buddha,Babaji,Mary,Mohammed, White Eagle or another one of the beautiful Many Christed Ones.

3.Tell the entities they are healed and forgiven, lifted and enlightened.(repeat is you feel it is needed)

4.Tell them that they are filled and surrounded with the Christ light and the Christ love (or the highest consciousness and energy available)

5.Ask that your chosen representative to take them to their perfect place and highest expression.

6.Ask that all negative thought forms, and limiting mental concepts be dissolved, and lifted into the light of truth.

7.Ask that all psychic bonds be severed, and close their auras to all but spirit of the highest vibration.

Repeat this process until you feel clear. There may be more than one healing to do. Remember that your word is very powerful, and what is spoken on their level manifests instantly. Many enlightened ones use this process before opening. It creates a clear and safe environment and it also lifts the one who is doing the healing. Intent is nine-tenths of the law!

The Divine Masculine

After 5,000 years of masculine domination and control, patriarchy and imperialism, the Masculine looks like a problem to be solved rather than a subject to study or an energetic force to embody. The Western Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – are pointed to as the chief cause of the destruction of cultures, the oppression of women, and the rape of all things feminine, including the earth. This feeling is shared by all those who do not buy the One True God indoctrination of those religions, including pagans, scientists, materialists, environmentalists, and independent thinkers from all backgrounds.

Jonathan Kirsch, in his excellent book, “God Against the Gods: The History of the War Between Monotheism and Polytheism,” describes the core value of monotheism as “exclusivism.” Beginning with Akhenaton in Egypt, and picked up by the Jews of that time, monotheists believe that worship is to be offered to a single god – to the exclusion of all other gods and goddesses. Not only is their god the best god, but the one and only god, and that all other deities are false. They then extend their zealotry to exclude anyone from their ranks who does not share their one true belief. Not only by excluding those who do not align, but often by killing them, believing that their God demands the blood of the non-believer.

Prior to the exclusivism of the Monotheists, there were hundreds of gods and goddesses alive and worshipped in cultures throughout the world. There is evidence that the early Jews worshipped Asherah, a goddess, along with Yahweh, their male deity, and the Jewish mystical tradition acknowledges Shekinah as the feminine principle of life. Merlin Stone describes the earliest goddess cultures in her book, “When God Was a Woman.” Anodea Judith, in her book, “Waking the Global Heart,” paints a visionary story of the changes that occurred as civilizations shifted from Goddess worship to gods-and-goddesses worship to exclusive God worship.

When gods are both male and female, there is some parity between men and women. Both have their proper roles, and both are Divine. Gods of all cultures have shared many of the qualities of their human worshippers (including love, lust, rage, and jealousy). Both men and women can see some divinity within themselves.

When a solo male God became the source of life and salvation, feminine characteristics got transferred to masculine. When God, and men, are responsible for fertility, nature, creation and destruction, the feminine gets shoved aside, destroyed, or buried in the rubble.

Our search for the Divine Masculine must extend out beyond patriarchal religions. We must look elsewhere for our Divinity.

In their classic book, “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine,” authors Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette make a distinction between “Boy Psychology” and “Man Psychology.” They write, “Feminists have seen how male dominance in patriarchy has been oppressive and abusive of feminine characteristics, virtues, and women themselves. Some feminists conclude that masculinity in its roots is essentially abusive, and that connection with “eros” – love, relatedness, and gentleness – comes only from the feminine side of the human equation. In our view, patriarchy is not the expression of deep and rooted masculinity. Truly deep and rooted masculinity is not abusive. Patriarchy is the expression of the immature masculine. It is the expression of Boy Psychology, and in part, the shadow – or crazy – side of masculinity. It expresses the stunted masculine, fixated at immature levels.”

Moore and Gillette, both psychologists, utilize Jungian Archetypes to distinguish the best qualities and virtues of mature masculinity, comparing them to immature expressions. If our Divinity is a reflection of our Virtues, we must examine the virtuous expression of masculinity to understand the Divine Masculine.

They identify four mature masculine archetypes: the King in his fullness, the Warrior in his fullness, the Magician in his fullness, and the Lover in his fullness. The immature expression (Boy Psychology) of each is identified as an earlier attempt to come into fullness: The Divine Child grows into the King, The Hero grows into the Warrior, the Precocious Child becomes the Magician, and the Oedipal Child becomes the Lover.

As with any path of virtue, there are many ways to go wrong, to allow ego needs to take over and express the negative aspects of the archetype. For example, the King has two shadow aspects: the Tyrant and the Weakling Leader. The Warrior’s shadow aspects are the Sadist and the Masochist. The Magician’s shadow includes the Detached Manipulator and the Denying “Innocent” One. It is easy to see that historical patriarchy is an expression and function of these shadow aspects. Imperialism, oppression, destruction of cultures, monotheistic exclusivism, uncaring exploitation of the earth’s resources, and domination and control of others are all expressions of these negative aspects of masculine power.

What are the Divine aspects of these archetypal forces?

A divine King is a benevolent provider for his kingdom. He brings order and safety where there is chaos and harm, organizes culture to provide prosperity for all, and ensures a free flow of energy and communication to elevate everyone around him. He serves the people along with his Queen, who is equal in stature and partnership.

This benevolent leadership can be seen in many of our cultural heroes – Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, the Dalai Lama, and even CEOs of companies such as Ray Anderson of Interface, a carpet company on a mission to save the Earth’s environment.

A divine Warrior is a protector, not an invader. He creates a safe environment in order for the people to thrive and grow. He defends his territory, which could include the whole earth, from destruction and exploitation. He is also an Inner Warrior, doing good battle with his own ego and psychology, fighting to strengthen his own divine nature against the inner forces of chaos and vice. Our eco-warriors at the front of battle, including tree-sitters and environmental lawyers, are doing this battle. Spiritual warriors like philosopher Ken Wilber use their own strength and fortitude to discover the truth that includes everyone and everything, leaving nothing out.

The Hero is, curiously, part of Boy Psychology. The Hero looks like a man, but is really a boy attempting to become a man. He journeys out to save a damsel in distress or fight a dragon to prove himself. His ego seeks acknowledgment and praise for being a hero. Military officers are most often heroic types, and consequently can rationalize destroying a village in order to save it, as Lieutenant Calley did in Viet Nam. Most film heroes are of this ilk. Rarely, we see an example of the mature masculine in films, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars, or Seven Samurai in Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 film.

A divine Magician uses his skill and knowledge to benefit all of humankind. Doctors, healers, scholars, inventors, musicians, and wisdom leaders are examples of the virtuous Magician. In it’s negative, egoic, or boyish manifestation, it may appear as a know-it-all, using knowledge to oppress, manipulate or brutalize others. Our divine Magicians are generous creators such as Deepak Chopra, who weaves others’ wisdom into popular culture, and Bono, the Irish musician in U2 whose social activism has brought international acclaim.

The divine Lover is a man of both heart and wisdom. In partnership with his consort and partner, he brings the fullness of love to all of life. The good husband and father who works hard to love and raise his family is an example of the Lover in his fullness. He may lead a non-profit organization that is working to heal the world. David Deida, a controversial teacher of Tantra, represents the divine Lover in his fullness, bringing the power of love to his work and life, and encouraging men and women to fully embody the divine forces.

It is important to separate the masculine and feminine from the male and female genders. The virtues of the divine masculine can appear and have full flower in any body, regardless of the shape and size of its genitals. In the same way as the divine feminine has been recognized as a force that can be owned and embodied by both men and women, the divine masculine is inside us all.

As human beings, we stand between the earth and the sky. We are a product of both mother (mater = matter and matrix) and father (pater = pattern), a masculine God and a feminine Goddess, Creator and Creatrix. We are part of their divinity, and we are thus divine by design. When we actively practice and pursue our virtues, we become naturally caring, generous, loving, protective, encouraging, curious and creative.

Some virtues appear to be more expressive of the feminine, others as expressive of the masculine, but all virtues are expressions of our divine nature. When we are in our fullness as human beings, we express the best of ourselves. Our communities and our cultures thrive.

Two virtues are especially required today: vigilance and fierceness. We must be eternally vigilant, protecting ourselves and our families from negative, immature qualities – whether feminine or masculine. We must bring our fierceness as well as our love and wisdom to educate and grow ourselves, our children, and each other. Our job is to create a whole, balanced, and good life for all. May it be so, and may you be blessed on your journey.

Father, Mother and the Earth

The Patriarchal rule came and the worst elements of man crushed the world of nature and the feminine spirit under its iron fist......the Lady went into exile and the stream of her wisdom was firced underground....in the forest the Lord bellowed in impotent rage.

The day mankind declared war on nature, he declared war upon himself. Each tree that is destroyed is a blow against his own future. Each woman brutalised and raped in imperialist conquest denigrates and demeans the nobility of the male energy.

Endless tides of corporate and imperialist conquest advance wave after wave, legion upon legion - bizarrely and ironically echoing the demonic refrain of his own Patriarchal holy book - "I am Legion" - crushing freedom, democracy, nobility and innocence.

Yet this is a pointless war of ego that the greedy, self-titled "elite" of the world of man cannot win.....all they will do is bring destruction to all, for their world is based on falsehood and lies....cruel twisted perversions of the beauty of nature...and this nature will ultimately not tolerate.....and when man has reaped the bitter harvest of his own species and the very surface of the world he will leave a vacuum....and as even the scientific laws of man state "nature abhors a vacuum" and into it she will quietly step as a young innocent child discovering a new place and the memory of humanity.....the race that were so blessed and lost their balance due to the greed of men....would be as a distant bitter memory on the wind.....for all man will have succeeded in doing is destroying his future for the instant gratification of the greedy power hungry few. We must prevent this.....honor the Mother, praise the Earth, live as one with all things, exist with balance and let the nobility of the Horned God be in our hearts.

TOTEMS OF THE FOUR WINDS(A Gift for knowing your personality )

THE EAST WINDS- THE EAGLE (Birthday's between 21 March and 20 June)
The animal associated with the Power of the East and with the East Winds is the Eagle. The Eagle is a totem for people with Birthday's between 21 March and 20 June. The Eagle is a bird that flies higher than any other, so the indian considered to be 'Closer to the sky.' To the indian, the sky was synonymous with the realm of Spirit and with Spiritual thing's. So the Eagle was a symbolic of the importance of principles. A principle might be defined a fundamental truth, the essential spirit or intention, or a guide to action. The Eagle is associated with farsightedness and the ability to look ahead. Since Eagle is also able to look directly into the sun without being blinded by it's intensity, this ability indicates another attribution of the East - Illumination- Illumination which come's to the mind through spiritual vision (Remember, the Sun is also a 'living' symbol of divinity or spirituality) or symbol or the ability to see into the essence or spirit of thing's. The East winds emphasise spiritual considerations and principles, so the spirit of the East will help us to comprehend more of the spiritual nature of the human being rather than the physical, mental, or emotional nature. The principle function of the East is the power of determining- the power of making choices. It is the power of deciding the way we make use of the energies at our disposal.

THE SOUTH WINDS- THE MOUSE (Birthday's between 21 June and 21 september)
The animal Associated with the Power of the South and with the South Winds is the Mouse. The Mouse is a totem for people with birthday's between 21 June and 21 september. Consider how the mouse perceives things. It is aware of it's surroundings by its closeness to them and by its sensitive feel of them. That is a special quality of the South Power and of people influenced by the South Winds- the perception of thing's by getting close to them. It is a special sort of awareness that comes through feelings. Touch, and closeness, and feelings, are vital qualities of the South which might be described as the direction of experience on the Medicine Wheel. The influence of the 'spirit' of the South can help us all to find our balance because it does stress the importance of not looking so far ahead that one over looks what lies directly within touch and perhaps we are all prone to making that mistake.The Mouse is one of the the smallest of animals and such expresses another important principle of the South: Never confuse size with true value. The South's special relationship is with the plant kingdom, the form of life which includes trees and plants, herbs, and flowers, and vegetation of all kinds. In the south the main function is of giving, and the plant kingdom contains the great givers of the Earth, giving entirely of themselves to provide for others. South people are also likely to feel dreawn towards herbal remedies for physical health problems, and to flower remedies in times of stress and when under psychological pressure. Of all people those most influenced by the South are likely to derive the greatest benefit from these remedies. In the human world, the South's influence is on the emotions and feelings. So applying the principles we have already learned harmong with in our selves can be attained by giving with the emotions. Love is a giving of oneself. Emotion expresses love because emotion is love energy in motion. By blocking up our emotions we lock up our hearts and suffer the consequences

THE WEST WINDS- THE GRIZZLY BEAR (Birthday's between 22 Sept. and 21 Dec)
An animal associated with the Power of the West and with the West Sinds is the Grizzly Bear. The Grizzly Bear is a totem for people whose birthday's are between 22 Sept. and 21 Dec. The grizzly is the strongest of all bears. Self- sufficient, it lives by its own strength, even healing itself of most illness and injuries thro its knowledge of herbs and its closeness to the Earth. The Power of the West is an influence that urges self-sufficiency and the development of the kind of strength of all. West people are generally endowed with a degree of inner strength with which to cope with all of life's difficulties, but often need to recognize that it is there for them to draw upon when needed. They may also feel drawn towards natural healing and complemaentary medicine. The West is the Power behind the need for preparation and for gathering in whether it be the fruits and rewards of past activity, or information and knowledge befor undergoing a period of refreshment or barrenness preceding a new direction or a fresh enterprise. The West is the direction for looking within to examine past actions and to learn frome them so that future decisions may be wise ones. It is also concerned with looking within the heart to examine true intention. The West Direction is likened to autumn, which is the season of consolidation when growth stops and when, in the natural scheme of things, humans held onto and stored th fruits of their endeavours and also examind themselves to discover what changes were needed to make progress when the time of renewal came.

THE NORTH WINDS-BUFFALO (Birthday's between 22 December and 20 March)
The Animal associated with the Power of the North is the Buffalo. The buffalo is a totem animal for those born between 22 December and 20 March. It is associated with the mind and with the knowledge and its power was sometimes described as 'the power of sustenance that knowledge can bring.' A very rare animal was the white buffalo, which was regarded as a sacred messenger because, according to legend, it was the White Buffalo Woman who gave the sacred pipe to the American Indian people. The sacred pipe is the Indian's most treasured possession. The principal function of the North is receiving, and animals were regarded as the great receivers of energy which they were able to transmit to humans, thus becoming the great helpers of mankind. The human aspect of the North is the mind. The mind is not the brain. The brain is merely a tool of the mind. The braind emits energy that can be measured. The mind has energy which cannot be measured, only received as consciousness. The energy of the mind goes where the consciousness goes. The North is the direction of the mind and the things of the mind - of knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is only of value to the Inner Self when it is transformed into wisdom by love, whech means by balancing that is part of the prupose of life.North people are likely to be creative and innovative. The North Winds are associated with winter when the Earth is dormant, so they are seen as the bringers of purification and of refreshment and renewal. North people have an inner strength and the power to change uncertain situations into solid and more permanent arrangements, but must learn to do so not with cold practicability but with warmth and compassion by allowing their emotions to flow more freely so their spiritual development will not be frozen

Wisdom from Native American Elders

As we stand before the dawn of a new millennium, we pray for America's survival, our survival.
We pray that we will be given strength by the Creator to follow the footsteps of our forefathers to share our love, respect and compassion for one another. There is good in everyone because our Creator has put a little of Himself in all of us.
We pray for forgiveness for the pain and suffering we have caused one another.
We pray that our children will not repeat our mistakes.
We pray that we can respect the diversity of America; all life is sacred. Every child born is a precious gift of our Creator. It is our sacred trust to embrace children from all walks of life because we are part of the same family.
We pray that children will honor and respect their elders-that is where the wisdom comes from. This respect will not allow forgotten elders. We are all equal, with each having our own special gift to contribute. These values allow our youth to become leaders and workers in our society. Children, you are our future and our hope for the people. Stand and be courageous.
We pray to learn and use the wisdom of all that has come before us, to achieve personal successes and to contribute to those of others. Only when our young ones learn respect for everything can they evolve.

EARTH
We pray for respect and love of Mother Earth because she is the foundation of human survival and we must keep her pollution-free for those who will travel after us. Protect her water, air, soil, trees, forests, plants and animals.
Do not just take and waste resources. Make it a priority to conserve.
The land is given to us by the Creator to care for, not to own. If we take care of the land, the land will take care of us.

UNITY
We should have respect for each other. We pray for commitment and responsible behavior in order to help those in need and to give them support and friendship. Be an example in life that others may follow; serve people, community and country.
We should all strive to be a leaders and contributors. Do not sit back and let others plan and do all the thinking.
Let us unite together so that we may have the strength to protect our future. Strength comes from working through trials and tribulations.

HEALTH
Spiritual health is the key to holistic health.
We pray to have the discipline to set healthy examples for our children to follow.

Respecting everyone and everything in the universe starts with self-respect.
Take time to listen and take care of your body and spirit.

FAMILY AND YOUTH
Family is important and precious. Always let them know that they are loved.
Let your children and grandchildren know you are always there to love and support them and that they mean the world to you no matter what they do or say. Children are of infinite value.
Live what you teach. Spiritual values, honesty, and integrity start in the home.
We pray for the youth. We must teach the youth to work together and respect all that is living on our Mother Earth.
We need to convey to our younger generations that the survival of our people lies in spirituality.

PEACE
We pray to learn ways to settle differences peacefully.
Teach respect for each other's ideas. Value honesty on all levels, from children to parents to community to governments. We will be happy when we create peace with each other.

The Three Journeys

Each of us has deep within us, hidden in the recesses of our minds and our very being, vestigial memories of the Old Ones who walked this land long before us. To visit with them, you need only relax, close your eyes, quieten your soul and allow it to drift. Listen to the gentle sounds around you, for among them you can hear the footsteps and voices of your ancestors. The spirits which surround you may sometimes extend an invitation to come with them, to warm yourself by their fire, talk about the ancient ways, hear the legends and tales of the Original People, and join in their songs and dances of celebration and remembrance.

If you are privileged to walk back along the path of time to meet them and to pause there for an instant, hold on to the memories of the journey and value that which you learn, for the trips are repeated only for those who are at peace with themselves and in harmony with the world around them.

First Journey

I hold a shard of pottery and a flint point,
Both made by ancestors of long ago;
People clothed in woven fiber,
Animal skin, and the feathers of an eagle.
The shard is etched and painted,
Perhaps the remnants of a forgotten legend.
The point is thin and finely made, ready for hafting.
Its keen edge is surprising, the balance good.
The color of the stone shows it came from far away.
I close my eyes for a moment, thinking back,
Remembering old ones now gone.
The shard and the stone warm my hand.
I feel the gentle touch of an ancestor's hand
Guiding my fingers across his/her ancient work.
It is not difficult to make. We will show you.
Grandfather has dark eyes,
Full of experience and wisdom.
Grandmother smiles at me, friendly and warm.
Welcome. Sit by the fire. Share our food.
It is a good life, we have much.
I need to learn much.
Smell the grass and trees,
The water and smoke.
Hear the children, animals, insects, and wind.
Feel with more than touch.
See with more than eyes.
Learn and understand with your mind and heart.
I need to learn more.
We will teach you, but that is enough for now.
It is better to fully understand a few words

Second Journey

Tonight we sing the old songs, remembering.
The flute is like the wind,
The drums like distant thunder,
Like buffalo on the prairie.
Voices blend together in song,
A blanket woven from eons of existence.
Smoke rises from the campfire into the sky.
This gathering is good,
Seeing old friends from distant homes,
Dancing to the chant and the drum.
But the ride here was long and I am tired.
I close my eyes and listen to the breeze
Whispering about the Old Ones.
The spring wind blows across the hill
Warming my spirit.
I think back to my childhood
When we made the long trek to this place
Where the grass is green and the water cool.
Father Sun now watches the corn tassel.
An eagle circles overhead.
It is a good sign.
My husband and son will return soon
From their journey to trade for flaking stone,
For shell and an eagle pipe.
I continue working on the leather pouch
My son will wear at the dance.
The white buffalo looks almost real,
Like the one I saw in my youth.
A cloud covers the face of Father Sun,
The shadow passing over me.
As the sky darkens, I close my eyes,
Remembering the gathering last year,
Old friends returning with new stories
To pass on to our children.
The wind as it moves through the trees
Is like the voices of the People singing as one.
The end of the chant sounds.
I open my eyes and rise.
Tomorrow I will dance again
Wearing the white buffalo pouch
Inherited from my great-grandfather,
Made by his great-grandmother.
As I walk toward our tent,
The night owl calls.
Time to dream.

Third Journey

I stand before the mountain
Gazing at images scratched into the stone,
Colored by traces of soot and dyes.
The Old Ones left this record
To be read and remembered
By others who would come after.
I reach out, gently touching the curves and lines,
Feeling with curious fingers,
Wondering who stood here before,
The painter of life, of time.
I slowly pull my hand away,
My fingers are stained
By the colors of fresh paints
Prepared from the plants and the earth.
Beside me stands a man,
Tall, bronze, and bare-chested,
Painting this year's story upon the mountain.
I gaze at some of the old images,
Remembering the voice of my grandfather
Telling the tales and legends of long ago.
I give the painter another bowl, another color.
Below is our village,
The smoke of the fire and the sounds of life
Rise on the wind to the Great Spirit.
The People prepare for the celebration of harvest,
Thankful for Mother Earth and Father Sun,
For full bellies and children who laugh,
For the gathering, the song, and the dance.
The drawing is finished, another year recorded
We silently gather the brushes and paints,
Then together start down the trail,
We stop and turn to look once again
At the many drawings on this monument,
The history of the People in a sacred place.
The man turns his head and speaks,
His eyes on me as one well trusted,
His voice familiar and reassuring,
Are you ready, my brother?
I nod and we turn again to the trail.
The wind stirs my hair,
The sound of a voice lingering in my mind,
Perhaps it was merely the wind
Playing among the rocks.
I gaze at the stone wall before me
At ancient paintings and petroglyphs.
The watchful spirits of my relatives surround me.
I am honored to be one in a long line
That reaches from ancient past to distant future.
The wind stirs again,
Bringing the smell of wood smoke

Les Tate who wrote this piece told me that the three parts of the trilogy came to him at different times over a period of about 18 months. He stated that he had not planned to write them like that or make them connected, however they turned out that way. When he put them together as a trilogy, he was very pleased about how well they fit together. Timewalker he stated seemed appropriate to describe what was happening to the storyteller(s), however he still does'nt know if they came from just one person's perspective. I rather believe he was led by the Old Ones in Spirit to write it.

The Illumination of Conscience

The Illumination of Conscience will be a profound moment of decision for mankind, a final warning to all of humanity.

Mystics and visionaries have described it as a “judgment in miniature”, a moment where every man, woman, and child will see their soul as God sees it.

This Illumination, often referred to as “The Warning”, will be a last chance for the world to change its course and return back to its creator.

The English Jesuit and 16th century martyr, St. Edmund Campion, spoke of “a great day that would reveal all men’s consciences,” a coming “day of enlightenment”.

He exclaimed it be a day in which God will supernaturally illuminate the conscience of every man, woman, and child on earth.

Each person would momentarily see the state of their soul through God’s eyes and realize the truth of His existence.

Scripture refers to it in the opening of the 6th seal where an event occurs that is so grand that every person on earth attempts to hide from the phenomenon they are witnessing, but to no avail.

Every man, woman and child would recognize Jesus as the true Son of God, and almost all will repent… at least for a little while anyway.

The warning as described from Garabandal apparitions:

A World-Wide Warning that will happen in the sky, like the collision of two stars that do not fall down.

It will frighten all humanity regardless of where one happens to be at the time.

It will be a thousand times worse than earthquakes, like a fire that will not burn our flesh.

It will last a very short time, although to us it will seem to be a very long time.

No one can prevent it from happening.

It will be recognized as coming from God.

It will resemble a punishment.

It is meant to be a purification, like the revelation of our sins and what we will feel in our hearts will be worse than sorrow.

It will not kill us, if we die it will be caused by the emotion within us.

The date was not revealed only that it will happen before the announcement of the miracle.

Celtic Understanding of Spirituality

For me, spirituality is not something airy fairy or a type of dreamworld. It is a solid orientation for me in my life. For example, I have two key mindsets that I try to practice.

My first mindset is to live as much as I can out of love. This love includes love for my partner, my kids, my wider family and friends. It also includes my love for my home, for Aran (the place where I live) and for my country. Furthermore, it includes everything I am passionate about. I love my work, I love working with my hands, gardening and construction, fixing things. I love writing.

As I have got older, the love in me has grown, I have become happier and more contented, and I know that living as much as I can out of love is the key.

The second mindset is to live as much as I can out of gratefulness. This particular practice is not given anything like the same emphasis in the Christian and post-Christian west. But for me gratefulness, being thankful, is fundamental. It doesn't take much thought to realize that most of what we have has been given to us without charge and without preconditions. Our life, our parents, our children, and so much more. If we live with a permanent sense of gratefulness, we will live life more graciously, more generously, with less sense of entitlement, greed or needing to demand.

It is clear to me from studying the history of Christianity that each of the mainstream churches has chosen to follow two agendas at the same time. The second agenda hides behind the first, and when it is forced to show itself, masquerades as the first.

The first agenda is to promote the inspirational life story and teachings of Jesus. This story can indeed be life-giving and liberational for people. Many people are drawn into these churches for this reason.

The second agenda however is to promote the institution which has been created and the power of hierarchies within that institution. In doing this, however, there is no choice but to act contrary to the example and teachings of Jesus who preached a certain type of powerlessness. Jesus did not set up an institution. He distributed his teachings like seed on the wind.

Many church members whom we now see as saints have indeed followed this example of powerlessness and lived lives of heroic love and compassion. But while some members of the churches can be said to have understood the message of Jesus accurately, this cannot be said of the institutions themselves. If we study and analyze the values that are embodied in the structures of the institutions, we can see clearly that they are not values that Jesus espoused. Jesus did not espouse the centralization of power nor the creation of human hierarchies of authority. He did not espouse the idea of an exclusive society nor that one could sit in judgement over another.

Jesus preached values that were contrary to the values of institutional Judaism of his day. He confronted those structures by facing down the people who promoted them. He was at his most vehement when opposing people whose hypocrisy was such that they claimed these structures were God-given. Very similar structures are present in today's Christian churches and the same hypocrisy is present in defending them.

The path that Jesus took led to his death at a young age. When he saw his death looming on the horizon, he did not act in any way to protect himself or to avoid the inevitable. Church institutions would burn themselves out very quickly if they were to truly espouse the values of Jesus. But these institutions have a strong aversion to dying or even letting go. Their very existence fundamentally compromises the insights that Jesus tried to communicate.

My spirituality is drawn from a reflection on the life of Jesus and on the Celtic spiritual tradition. I do not any longer belong to any church. Much of the theology and the ecclesiastical power-play that came in the centuries after the time of Jesus, I reject, have no time for, or see as irrelevant.

You will see from my writings, that for me a church that declares itself 'one, holy, catholic and apostolic' is part of the problem of globalization and of the loss of diversity in the world. As Jesus said, you can know things by their fruits. Seriously bad fruits have come from the promotion of homogeneity in the world. I do not believe that there is one true church. This is a human invention designed to achieve power over others. In the process it has wiped out indigenous spirituality all across the world and been a major contributor to the loss of cultural diversity.

I also do not subscribe to the idea of a clerical hierarchy of priests, bishops, archbishops, etc. To me, Apostolic Succession and Sacramental Orders are human inventions dressed up as 'God-given' in order to allocate power, authority and status to certain people. I see them as contrary to the teaching and example of Jesus who envisioned a society where the 'mighty' would be 'cast down from their thrones' and the 'lowly' would be 'raised up'. He envisioned a society of equals.

You will see from the history of the Irish monks in the early period of Celtic Christianity, when they began to travel across Europe, that they had little time or patience for bishops or even the Pope in Rome, with all their pomp and ceremony and their luxurious palaces. All these monks wanted for themselves was to be left alone without interference (see the writings of Columbanus to the Pope). Just as Jesus did not accept the teaching authority of the scribes and Pharisees, so too, I do not accept the claims of authority that come from clerical hierarchies.

People in the time of Jesus saw that he 'spoke with authority'. This was not the authority of some official in a church, nor was it the authority of someone with an appropriate degree from a university. Jesus had no external authority bestowed upon him by his society. He was a simple carpenter and nobody had appointed him to be anything else. His authority, which people recognised, came from within himself where he had found a source of deep truth and love. His encouragement to others was to find that same source of truth and love deep within themselves and to live their lives from that place. This to me is also at the heart of Celtic spirituality. You will see this in the writings of Pelagius.

To summarise, Jesus got it more or less right but institutions founded in his name got it very definitely wrong. Don't be confused between the two!

Here's a thought. Christianity is really more about the theology that developed AFTER the death of Jesus than it is about Jesus himself. The big debate on Irish radio yesterday was whether women can be ordained Catholic priests and what authority the Pope has to decide on the matter.

When you look at the history of Christianity, the disputes have never been about what Jesus taught directly: the primacy of love, the need to forgive, nor have they been about any of the parables that Jesus told us or the example he gave us of his own life. What they have been about are the theological opinions we have developed since his death.

Here's my bottom line. I like what I read about Jesus in the four gospels. He is a hero of mine. After that, I have my own opinions. I am even not too sure about St Paul and where he was coming from. So, am I a Christian? I don't know.

We live in a world today where democratic principles are central to how we want the world to be. Within those principles is the right of every person to have their own opinion and to express it.

The Oxford English dictionary has a word that sums up this church's denial of a democratic principle. Its called DOGMA - defined as 'an arrogant opinion'. Case made.

Behold The New Earth

Since the Birth of the New Earth and the Shift of the Ages which we experienced over the December Solstice in 2012, people have been wondering what in the world is happening. I have been encouraging all of you to pay attention and to look for outer-world events that indicate we have gone through a quantum shift of consciousness. It is important to observe that indeed powerful changes are taking place on a daily basis. There is certainly no shortage of signs that things are changing at warp speed. If you will just reflect on what has happened in the first three months of 2013, you will be amazed. This year has been heralded as the year of New Beginnings, and it is definitely living up to that declaration.

KNOW that you are an awakening Child of God. Please open your heart and mind and contemplate the following information through the "new eyes and new ears" of your true God Self, your I AM Presence. When you see the bigger picture from this higher level of consciousness, everything will make perfect sense.

So far this year we have experienced an unusual influx of asteroids, meteors, comets, and extremely powerful solar flares. This may seem like just a coincidence, but nothing is happening by accident. The Elemental Kingdom is the Divine Intelligence that magnetizes the unformed primal Light substance into the matrixes that form all physical matter, including asteroids, meteors, comets, and solar flares. What the Elemental Kingdom creates is always a reflection of Humanity's consciousness. Moment by moment, as Humanity expresses our thoughts, words, actions, feelings, and beliefs the Elemental Kingdom brings them into manifest form in perfect Divine Order.

The reflection of Humanity's positive thoughts and feelings manifest as positive, life-enhancing experiences in our lives. Humanity's negative thoughts and feelings manifest as challenging and often painful experiences in our lives. Our negative thoughts and feelings also manifest as inclement weather conditions and cataclysmic earth changes. But it is important to understand that even during the most catastrophic event, there is not a blade of grass or a grain of sand that is moved without the deliberate intent of the Elemental Kingdom. So why are asteroids, meteors, comets, and extreme solar flares bombarding the atmosphere of this planet since the Birth of the New Earth?

Well, the psychic astral plane is a sea of negativity that surrounds the Earth. This very dense and oppressive forcefield of energy was formed through the negative thoughts, words, actions, feelings, and beliefs Humanity has expressed since our fall from Grace aeons ago. This very negative forcefield of Humanity's human miscreations is the "dark tunnel" people consistently report passing through when they go through a near death experience. This is the "veil of illusion" or "the veil of maya" that is often talked about in sacred scriptures.

The distorted energy that is seething in the psychic astral plane from all of Humanity's miscreations was originally our Life Force-our Gift of Life from our Father-Mother God. Tragically, Humanity took that precious Gift of Life and distorted it into gross mutations through the abuse of our creative faculties of thought and feeling and misuse of our free will. Now we are responsible for transmuting that energy back into Light. This must be done before the patterns of perfection for the New Earth can tangibly manifest in the physical plane.

The Beings of Light in the Realms of Illumined Truth have told us that it has been very difficult for Humanity to transmute the energy in the psychic astral plane because it is so very dense. In order to make this transmuting process easier, awakening Humanity has been invoking assistance from the Elemental Kingdom. Whenever an asteroid, a meteor, a comet, or a solar flare passes close by the Earth or enters the atmosphere it literally shakes the ethers and shatters the dense energy in the psychic astral plane. Then, when Lightworkers invoke the Violet Transmuting Flame, it can easily blaze in, through, and around the negative energy and transmute it back into Light.

This must be a cooperative effort. The Elemental Kingdom is shaking the ethers and shattering the dense thoughtforms and behavior patterns in the psychic astral plane; however, it is embodied Lightworkers who must invoke the Violet Transmuting Flame in order to purge these patterns and transmute the energy associated with them back into Light. Only then will the patterns of perfection for the New Earth physically manifest on Earth. Needless to say, it is time for all of us to redouble our efforts in invoking the Violet Transmuting Flame.

The Pope

Another outer-world sign that took place after the Birth of the New Earth was the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI on February 11, 2013. This unprecedented event captured the attention of the entire world and created a collective cup of Humanity's consciousness through which the Company of Heaven could intensify the purging of the abuse of power, the corruption, the perversion, the deception, the manipulation, the greed, the suppression of women, and the separation and duality associated with all of the world religions.

This event specifically involved the Roman Catholic Church, but if we step back to see the bigger picture we will understand that this church is serving as a surrogate for the purging of all of the distortion associated with every organized religion. As the patterns of perfection for the New Earth filter into Humanity's consciousness, we clearly know that any religion that functions from a consciousness of separation and duality is not reflecting the profound Truth of Humanity's Oneness and the Reverence for ALL Life. This Truth was originally the basis of every world religion.

Throughout history, at the inception of each New Age, the Sacred Knowledge that eventually formed the various world religions was projected into the mental and emotional strata of Earth by our Father-Mother God. This was done in order to assist Humanity in our evolutionary process. The problem is that it was never the intent of our Father-Mother God for these waves of Truth and Divine Guidance to be crystallized into the divisive world religions we are experiencing today. The Divine Intent was for this progressive Sacred Knowledge from On High to enhance Humanity's evolutionary progress Age by Age, just as our advancement through our Earthly school system is intended to educate us.

So how does the election of a Pope reflect the Birth of the New Earth? Well, just look at the man that was elected Pope and the signs of change that he has demonstrated so far. Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a conservative Catholic, so he will support some of the old and certainly obsolete archetypes for a while, but look at the outer-world signs of change.

The most tragic thing that happened when we began misqualifying our Life Force and creating patterns of pain and suffering is that we closed our Heart Chakra so we would not feel so much pain. That fateful decision blocked the portal through which the Love of our Mother God entered the physical plane of Earth. This forced the Feminine Aspect of God to withdraw her Love to a mere trickle of its original influence in our lives. This tragic event ultimately resulted in Humanity forgetting that we even had a Divine Mother. We erroneously accepted that even though we were Children of God we only had one parent and that parent was a male, our Father God. Well what child is ever birthed without a Mother? Remember, "As above, so below." Without the Love and awareness of our Mother God, we fell into greater frequencies of chaos and confusion. We began using our masculine power without the balance of our feminine love, which catapulted us into the patriarchal imbalance that is reflected in almost all world religions to this very day.

The Earth is a living, breathing organism and she too reflects the masculine and feminine polarities of God. The masculine polarity enters the Earth as a tremendous shaft of Light in the area of the Himalaya Mountains in Tibet. The feminine polarity enters the Earth as a shaft of Light in the area of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. When Humanity closed our hearts the portal through which our Mother God entered the Earth became practically dormant as well.

For millennia the Company of Heaven has been helping awakening Humanity to remember the existence of our Mother God, and to open our Heart Chakras. The way that most people have reconnected with the Love of our Mother God is through the Holy Spirit. Because of their patriarchal consciousness, world religions have mistakenly taught us that the Holy Spirit is a masculine aspect of our Father God, but now the Company of Heaven of Heaven has revealed the Truth. The Holy Spirit is our Mother God, the Feminine Aspect of Deity. The Holy Trinity represents our Father God-The Father, the Son and Daughter of God-The Christ, and our Mother God-The Holy Spirit. We always knew that the Holy Spirit was the Love Nature of God and the Holy Comforter, but now we know the Holy Spirit represents our Mother God.

Since our fall from Grace aeons ago the Company of Heaven has been working with awakening Humanity to reopen the Portal of the Divine Feminine in South America. With the focus on the Virgin of Guadalupe over the past 500 years, and the attention that has been given to South America during the past 25 years because of the completion of the 5,125 cycle of the Mayan Calendar, millions of people have traveled to the sacred sites surrounding the Portal of our Mother God adding their Light and Love to this reopening process. On December 12, 2012, the twelfth day of the twelfth month of the twelfth year of the new millennium-12-12-12-the day celebrated as the Feast Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Portal of our Mother God was at long last opened to full breadth.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio was born and raised in Argentina, which like all of South America, is held in the radiance of the Portal of our Mother God. In spite of the patriarchal stance of the Church, his mission has been over lighted by the Holy Spirit. Cardinal Bergoglio dedicated his service to the auspices of Mother Mary and lives a life of compassion and Love. He denounced the pomp and circumstance of a Catholic Cardinal in order to serve the poor and those who need him the most. He refused to live in the Cardinal's Palace and rented a small apartment for himself. He cooked his own meals and refused the chauffeured car allotted a Cardinal in exchange for riding the bus to work.

When Cardinal Bergoglio was elected Pope he chose the name Francis after Saint Francis of Assisi. To grasp the significance of that choice, we need briefly to look at life of Saint Francis. Saint Francis was born into a wealthy family, but rejected his wealth to serve the poor. One time Francis was in an old church, and as he prayed before the crucifix on the altar he heard what he perceived to be the voice of God. God said, "Francis, rebuild my church." Initially Francis thought God was asking him to rebuild the old church he was in, but he soon realized that the Church of God is not a lavish edifice, THE CHURCH OF GOD IS THE PEOPLE.

Saint Francis was well aware of the Elemental Kingdom and worked hand and hand with the animals and nature. He was never ordained into the Catholic priesthood, but he is one of the most venerated religious figures in history. On July 16, 1228, Francis was pronounced a saint by Pope Gregory lX. He is known as the patron saint of animals and the environment.

Pope Francis is the first Pope to choose to be named after Saint Francis of Assisi. When he was introduced as the Pope to the throngs of people gathered in Vatican Square, the first thing he did was bow and ask the people to bless him. Then he prayed the three prayers that he knew every Catholic child and adult would know. He chose those prayers so that people around the world could pray with him. The first prayer was the Hail Mary, the second was Glory Be To The Father, and the third was the Lord's Prayer.

The following day, the first thing he did before officially addressing the gathering of Cardinals as the new Pope was to go to the chapel alone where he prayed for 30 minutes to Mother Mary, asking for her blessings and Divine Intervention in his mission.

When Pope Francis addressed the Cardinals instead of sitting on the white Pope's throne, he stood amongst the Cardinals as their brother and received their blessings. He said, "I Am asking all of you to help me rebuild God's church."

Pope Francis chose to conduct his first mass on Saint Joseph's Feast Day, March 19, 2013. Saint Joseph is the patron saint of the Universal Church. The Company of Heaven revealed to Humanity a long time ago that Joseph, who was Jesus' father and the husband of Mother Mary, was one of the embodiments of Saint Germain. Saint Germain is the Keeper of the Violet Flame of God's Infinite Perfection. This Sacred Fire, which is the 7th Solar Aspect of Deity, will be the predominant influence on the planet during the Age of Aquarius. How appropriate to have the first Pope after the Birth of the New Earth begin his mission under the auspices of Saint Germain.

His words at the first mass were also profound in Light of this Cosmic Moment and the shifts of consciousness that are taking place. When he spoke to the 300,000 people gathered in Vatican Square and the millions tuning in from around the world he said:

"I Am asking all of you to assume the role of protectors. We are all protectors of Creation, protectors of the Plan of God which is written in Nature. We are protectors of one another and of the environment. But it is not allowed that signs of destruction and death accompany our journey in this world."

As I close this segment of my article about Pope Francis, I would like to share with you the Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi. I have had this prayer hanging in my office for 40 years.

The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow Love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, Light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to Love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen, Amen, Amen

The Vernal Equinox

March 20, 2013, is the birth of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the birth of Fall in the Southern Hemisphere. But most importantly, it is the time of year when day and night are equally balanced. This celestial alignment creates the opportunity for a tremendous influx of Light. This Vernal Equinox, the first since the Birth of the New Earth, the Company of Heaven and Lightworkers all over the world are joining together to pave the way for the physical transformation of this blessed Planet. People everywhere are anchoring the patterns of perfection for the New Earth through their thoughts, words, actions, feelings, and beliefs. This is the first of many influxes of Light that will take place during the next three years which will transform life on Earth in glorious ways. Our mission during the Equinox is to stay focused on the Light, to work with the Elemental Kingdom and the Company of Heaven, to empower the patterns of perfection for the New Earth, and to envision the life we want to cocreate for ourselves, our families, and all Life on this sweet Earth.

Our Inner Divinity

Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment. On life’s journey faith is nourishment, virtuous deeds are a shelter, wisdom is the light by day and right mindfulness is the protection by night. If a man lives a pure life, nothing can destroy him. The divine is not something high above us. It is in heaven, it is in earth, it is inside us.

Though heaven-and-earth is eternal, I won’t come into being a second time. Even in a life of a hundred years, the day’s slip by very quickly. It is my good fortune to have been born in this interval. I must not miss the chance to appreciate my life of happiness, nor allow myself to dwell upon empty existence.

The real world is beyond our thoughts and ideas; we see it through the net of our desires, divided into pleasure and pain, right and wrong, inner and outer. To see the universe as it is, you must step beyond the net. It is not hard to do, for the net is full of holes.

Man is the center of the universe. Heaven, earth, the within or the without figuratively gravitate around the notion of the human being who is the perfection of the universe. Without the human being, the universe is of no relevance at all.In Buddhism, the "unrefined" man is the source of such multitude and plurality. The enlightened one is one who knows how to synthesize the many into the oneness.

If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, in our entire society, will benefit from our peace. Perhaps the most "spiritual" thing any of us can do is simply to look through our own eyes, see with eyes of wholeness, and act with integrity and kindness.

Learn to look without imagination, to listen without distortion; that is all. Stop attributing names and shapes to the essentially nameless and formless, realize that every mode of perception is subjective, that what is seen or heard, touched or smelled, felt or thought, expected or imagined, is in the mind and not in reality, and you will experience peace and freedom from fear.

By nurturing our moment to moment awareness we open “deep reservoirs of creativity, intelligence, imagination, clarity, determination, choice and wisdom” that already exist within us.

To hold our tongues when everyone is gossiping, to smile without hostility at people and institutions, to compensate for the shortage of love in the world with more love in small, private matters; to be more faithful in our work, to show greater patience, to forgo the cheap revenge obtainable from mockery and criticism: all these are things we can do.

To me, wholeness is the key to aliveness. It is more than just physical vitality, it is radiance, coming from being at one with yourself and your experience. Life then flows through you.

To dwell in the here and now does not mean you never think about the past or responsibly plan for the future. The idea is simply not to allow yourself to get lost in regrets about the past or worries about the future. If you are firmly grounded in the present moment, the past can be an object of inquiry, the object of your mindfulness and concentration. You can attain many insights by looking into the past. But you are still grounded in the present moment.

Understanding A Spiritual Awakening

A spiritual awakening is when one has become aware and has awakened or who is going through the stages of an awakening. They will become more aware of themselves on a much deeper and higher level and what is real. The person going through the awakening will suddenly have a deeper awareness of what is going on around them and of themselves and they will be more aware of their life experiences and the lessons they have learnt from these experiences and the reasons why. The person will start to feel more at one with themselves and everything around them and they may feel more contented and at peace with their surroundings, themselves and with other people. The person will start to accept who they are and let go of any hurt, anger and negative feelings that they had towards their life and people and they will gradually go through a healing process of their heart, soul and mind. The person will suddenly start seeing the world in a different way and their previous views and opinions may change drastically.

A spiritual awakening can be very life changing for a person especially if that person was not spiritual to begin with. An awakening can strip a person of previous beliefs, feelings and life views causing them to see the world and themselves in a whole new light. Well being a positive experience towards the end of the awakening, at first the awakening can be quite disruptive, shocking and upsetting to a person and their life because it forces them to take a deeper a look at themselves, face their fears, re-live any bad experiences and memories and forces them to see things in a way that they previously never thought. The awakening can be very confusing and so powerful that the person may question themselves and even their sanity due to the symptoms that occur during the awakening. These kinds of changes can be quite unsettling at first and may take many months or even years of soul searching before the person starts to feel more at one and have feelings of serenity.

A spiritual awakening can be spontaneous or caused by a profound spiritual experience or an event in a person's life, a loss or a near death experience. The spiritual awakening process sparks the activation of awareness and once someone have completed their spiritual awakening and they go and look back on their life before the awakening began they may see how much they were just exisiting in robot mode, a spiritual awakening brings them out of this robot mode and in to awareness mode which wakes them up and they start to exist with a new and positive lease of life.

When a person begins their spiritual awakening they will go through different stages of the awakening before they get to the last stage which will be completion of the spiritual awakening. Because everyone is different and reacts differently to a spiritual awakening the time frame of each stage of the awakening will vary from one person to the next. A spiritual awakening can take days or even years till the awakening process is completed.

Below is the different stages of a spiritual awakening.

Stage 0
Awareness has not begun. In this stage the person has no spiritual awareness but eventually everyone will then start at stage 1 which is when the spiritual awakening begins and which will then go on to lead to higher awareness being achieved by stage 5. The awareness may or may not begin in their current lifetime but it will happen eventually if not in this lifetime but another.

Stage 1
Trigger/spontaneous awakening. A spiritual awakening is often triggered by something experienced which had a deep affect in the mind of the person going through the awakening but an awakening can also happen spontaneously too. A trigger can be the loss of a loved one, a near death experience, a spiritual experience or some other event or situation that had a profound effect on the person going through the awakening. Most spiritual awakenings are caused through some sort of shock event or experience that had a deep affect on the person's soul. The spiritual awakening now begins brought on either through a trigger event or spontaneously.

Stage 2
Shock and upheaval. The start of the spiritual awakening will be a huge shock to the system especially if it was triggered by an event such as the loss of a loved one or a near death experience. The person going through the awakening will experience a revelation and a realisation which may be very overwhelming emotionally for them and the person will start to become aware in a way they never was before. They will now begin to question things in a serious way such as life and death, the afterlife, God, spirituality, their own life and lives of others, the world they live in and themselves and the event that triggered their awakening. Awareness is now activated and the beginning of the awareness process now starts in stage 2 of the spiritual awakening.

Stage 3
Chakras begin to open. In stage 3 of the awakening the chakras will now begin to open one at a time as energy pulses through each of the 7 chakras, the energy centres of the body. The opening of each chakra will now cause the symptoms of the spiritual awakening below. The symptoms can either be mild or life affecting and it is in stage 3 where people may begin to even question their own sanity due to the intensity of the symptoms. Stage 3 of the awakening is for the most the hardest of all the stages because of the affect the symptoms can have on the person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Stage 3 can be dramatic and traumatic and can take its toll on the mind and body and It can be a very confusing and disruptive time. It is in stage 3 that you will really need to take care of yourself, take lots of rest when possible and eat and drink well. If the emotional and mental symptoms of the awakening is too much to bare because of old and difficult memories cropping up or because you are doubting and worrying about what is happening to you it may help to speak to someone who can help you deal with these feelings. There are lots of spiritual forums online where you can find like-minded people to speak to if you can't talk to anyone else at home but it is important that if stage 3 is affecting your life in such a way where you are struggling to do day to day stuff then it may be worth speaking to a GP or a councillor because stage 3 is when you will start to take a deeper look at yourself which for some may be very hard to cope with if they already have low self- esteem, confidence and a negative view on themselves and also this stage may cause upsetting memories to resurface which may be too painful to deal with by self. Awareness continues as the chakras begin to open one by one causing many physical, emotional, mental and spiritual symptoms.

Stage 4
Healing process begins. Once the difficulties of stage 3 is almost over the person going through the spiritual awakening will now go through a healing process of the body and the mind. After all the distruption of stage 3, stage 4 will be a welcome relief. It is in stage 4 when the person will now start to accept who they are, their past, their life, their experiences and they will begin to love themselves because they will now be learning acceptance not just with themselves but with life in general without feeling bitter and resentful. They will also start to lose all the anger, hurt, pain and judgements that they have been carrying around not only at themselves but towards other people too. They will begin to see themselves, others and the world they live in, in a whole new and positive light and they may now start to change their views and opinions on life and on others that they had previously before. They are continuing to become aware and will go through a huge and positive transformation in this stage. The symptoms from stage 3 have now started to calm down but there will still be many symptoms but they should be easier to handle now as the body goes through the healing process. Awareness continues as the healing process now begins.

Stage 5
Spiritual awakening completed. In stage 5 the spiritual awakening has now completed and the person now has awareness like they have never before. This stage is a wonderful stage to be in because it will turn a person's life around in a complete and positive way. The person will now feel happier with who they are and will accept and love who they are, they will not be quick to judge others but will now have compassion and empathy towards other people, animals and nature. In stage 5 they will have now realised that they are connected to every living thing on this planet and beyond. They will realise that nothing and no one is separate and that we were all created together by the same source, and that even though people may have different names for that source, it is still the same source which we all came from and will go back to eventually. The spiritual awakening process is now completed and although the person is now awakened they will continue to become more aware as they progress through their life learning new lessons and developing their soul but now with a new and different prospective than they had before.

Symptoms of a spiritual awakening

Physical symptoms

1) Tingling hands or feet
2) Heart palpitations/racing heart

3) Tingling in the third eye area located in between the eyes

4) Warm palms or feet

5) Headaches, backaches and general aches and pains which are not caused by an illness

6) Changes in weight and eating habits
7) Food intolerances and allergies which was once never a problem

8) Skin eruptions, rashes, body tingling and itchy skin

9) Pain, numbness and feelings of vibration and electricity going through the body

10) Dizzy spells and a feeling of lightness
11) Feeling more tired and needing to rest a lot more than normal

12) Memory loss and forgetfulness

13) Changes in energy levels
14) A feeling of having waves of energy going through the body

15) A feeling of having brain fog

16) Feelings of pressure inside the head. Head may feel like it might explode

17) Night sweats

18) Enhancement of physical senses such as smell, sight and hearing

19) May look younger
20) Hair and nails may grow at a faster rate

21) Changes in sleep patterns. May experience restless sleep and waking up two or three times during the night

22) Changes in bowel movements. May have bouts of diarrhea

23) Sinus and ear trouble

Emotional symptoms

1) Sudden waves of emotions

2) Sudden feelings of sadness then happiness, depression or elation

3) A feeling of being on an emotional roller coaster ride

4) Intense mood swings

5) Supressed and forgotten memories and old stuff may suddenly resurface causing waves of sad or happy emotions

6) Emotional confusion
7) Feelings of great joy and bliss

8) Crying outbursts without a reason
9) Wanting to withdrawal from family and friends

20) You may experience the blue pearl-this is a tiny blue dot seen in the mind's eye or peripheral vision or directly in front of you

21) Teachers or people who can advise and help you with your spiritual journal may suddenly turn up

22) An intense urge to discover spiritual truths and yearning for meaning and purpose

23) Wanting to make life changes, breaking old habits and routines and starting new more fulfilling things

Humanity is Transforming and Changing

It’s almost April 2013 and the planet is going through a mass transformation. There are many aspects to this transformation, and in the end one must come to realize the basic building block for global change starts with us, humanity on a collective level, together. We are being called to evolve past our current way of living, tap into our infinite potentiality, let go of our training wheels and fly. We continue to search for external factors like technology and alternative ways to function, which is great. But humanity cannot evolve past its current paradigm unless the souls on Earth themselves change first. From that place of change we can begin to implement new ways of operating on this planet which can propel us past our current limitations and into an existence of abundance, peace , prosperity, and discovery.

Humanity must operate from a place of love, peace, cooperation, acceptance and understanding if it is to move on and expand past the current limitations and definitions it has placed upon itself. A portion of the paradigm change we are witnessing on planet Earth today is people waking up to what has really been taking place. This can be a tough process because many humans have been made to believe certain realities are true when they are not. Through the use of mainstream media, education and more, we have been programmed with false ideas and belief systems of how the world and the industries that govern it work. We’ve also been programmed with the idea of how to be, how to act, and what to do in certain situations. This type of programming has taken us away from our soul’s voice, our heart, and our ability to be our true self. We are a young race, and we are only just discovering our hearts now.

Only a small group of people and the corporations they run are in control of all the world’s resources. When something new comes along and threatens these industries and multinational corporations they put a tremendous amount of effort into concealing and covering up information. A part of this transformation is the apocalypse, which is an ancient Greek word that carries the meaning of “transparency.” This is not always an easy process. Sometimes it is hard for one’s mind to take in certain information when after carrying a specific belief system for almost all of one’s life. We are an infant race of seven billion, separated by many different belief systems. The belief systems that once separated us are beginning to crumble, and we are all coming to the realization of oneness. That’s what we are: one human race. Imagine a race united in knowing instead of separated by belief systems. Someone once said that the mind works best like a parachute, when it is open!

Many find the idea of mass brainwashing hard to believe, but it’s really not. The brain and our consciousness is highly programmable. The way we perceive reality is directly correlated to the reality we create. Throughout human history intellectual authorities have affirmed their supremacy by purposely ridiculing ideas and new concepts of reality that did not fit the accepted framework. They accomplished this by using their position of ‘power’ to dictate, and dispense their resources into brainwashing the public. The best historical example is ancient Rome and Christianity. The elite banned and punished those who did not follow. Even all the way up to recent history when ancient Rome spread its power all over the globe, scientists were sought after and killed while their works were taken and hidden from the public, they were considered heretics. Galileo is a classic example of this.

So how do they do it today? Is it a conspiracy? Well, if you would like to inquire about that, the first question you must as yourself is who is in control now? Who is dictating ‘truth’ to people, how do they do it, and how do we find out what is really going on in the world? After all, nobody can really deny that human beings have an innate desire for knowledge and truth. The only difference is that everybody seeks it using different methods. Some simply believe what they are told, and others search more in depth. Truth can never be hidden, and it is always possible to discover certain aspects of our reality that is kept from the masses.

For quite some time the dominating ‘truth givers’ have come from television programming. It’s no secret that mainstream media sources are extremely manipulating. They are owned by a handful of multinational corporations who we all know are in control of government and governmental policy, such as Time Warner, Disney, Viacom, News Corporation, CBS Corporation, and NBC Universal. What is even more strange is that all of these corporations have connections to each other. Multiple CEO’s and employees are members of the Council On Foreign Relations and all of these organizations always lead up to the same group of families, like the Rockefellers. Does that not make people scratch their heads? I am not asking you to believe me blindly. I take it that this is a known fact. What is even more amusing is that the corporations that own and run the mainstream media also own big oil companies, big pharmaceutical companies, big energy companies, big food companies and more. Basically, a small group of people and the corporations they run own all aspects of our lives. What is becoming more transparent by the day is that everything that surrounds us is not good for us at all. For example, the food and pharmaceutical industries both complement each other in that one makes us sick and the other treats us. It’s a cycle.

We no longer desire the type of environment that surrounds us daily and we are starting to realize that we can change it any time we want. Change can’t happen in a second. Sometimes our perception gets in the way. What seems like ten or twenty years to some may seem like one second to others. This transformation we are going through is rapid, and it starts with the recognition that many of us here no longer resonate with the current system planet Earth uses to govern itself. This feeling that does not resonate with many has caused many to ‘leave’ the system and begin to create for themselves. It has also encouraged others to begin spreading information to spark more awakening across the world. A massive ripple effect is moving around the planet right now. All we have to do is follow our hearts, let go of the fear to do so. and realize that in these times the Earth is truly our playground.

Biblical Principles to Change Yourself and Those Around You

The Bible is not only the world’s most widely distributed book (by the billions), it is also the world’s most widely banned book. That’s because it is not just an eclectic assortment of ancient religious traditions. Rather, it is the ultimate threat to the status quo of prideful, human kingdom-building, the ultimate collection of divinely inspired revolutionary writings.

With that in mind, here are seven biblical principles for world changers:

1) “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet” (Matt. 5:13, ESV). In the ancient world, salt had a number of different functions, including serving as a preservative. When applied to the followers of Jesus, this speaks of our calling to be the moral conscience of society. But this high calling comes with a serious warning. As New Testament scholar R.V. Tasker explained, if the Lord’s followers are “called to be a moral disinfectant in a world where moral standards are low, constantly changing, or non-existent ... they can discharge this function only if they themselves retain their virtue.” We cannot change the world if we ourselves are not changed.

2) “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. ... [So] let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Mat. 5:14, 16). The greatest problem in America today is not so much the presence of darkness as it is the absence of light. Put another way, it is no surprise that sinful people do sinful things. (Do we really expect carnally minded Hollywood producers to put out God-glorifying, biblically based, family-friendly flicks?) And so we can’t be shocked when the darkness is dark. Instead, we who claim to be devoted to God must shine the light brightly, and we must do it in deed and not only in word. This begins with compassionate ministry to the hurting and the poor.

3) “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31) It’s so easy to put our trust in numbers, as if revolutionary change can only happen when our side is in the majority. But even the secular world knows this is not true. As Fidel Castro remarked, “I began revolution with 82 men. If I had to do it again, I’d do it with 10 or 15 and absolute faith. It does not matter how small you are if you have faith and plan of action.” If that’s what Castro could do with a handful of dedicated men, what could God do with them?

4) “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Rom. 12:21). If we become as mean-spirited and hateful as those who oppose us, we have already lost the battle. As Martin Luther King Jr. famously said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” We must set our goals higher, by exposing what is wrong and modeling what is right, not by getting dragged down into the dirt.

5) “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Prov. 15:1). As the old saying goes, you can win the argument but lose the point (or the person!). Don’t let pride or a quick temper dictate your speech (or your online communication). Step back, get control of your emotions, and reach out rather than attack. You’ll be amazed with the results that you get. (Yes, this is easier said than done, but the rewards are well worth the effort.)

6) “All the nations are as nothing before [God], they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness” (Is. 40:17). Remember to keep your perspective. Some of the most ferocious, intimidating leaders of history are nothing more than dust and ashes today, and the Iron Curtain, the Bamboo Curtain and the Berlin Wall all came down in the last generation. As a historian once observed, 2,000 years ago, Nero was considered to be the divine emperor while the apostle Paul was a little known Roman prisoner, soon to be beheaded. Who knew that centuries later, people would call their dogs Nero and their sons Paul?

7) “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). These words were spoken by Jesus to his disciples shortly before He was betrayed and crucified, and they are as relevant today as ever. Jesus wanted them (and us) to know that no one will be totally exempt from pain or suffering or hardship. But, Jesus added, take heart and be at peace. Just as He overcame every obstacle (including death itself!), we His followers can overcome too. In other words, “We shall overcome” was not just the song of the Civil Rights movement. It is our song too. “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4).
There are many more principles like these in the Scriptures, but let’s get started by implementing these seven. It will revolutionize our world.

Inner Changes

Due to the energy changes that are affecting many of us it is causing us to revalue our life and what we want from it, it seems that everything we once thought was 'normal' and 'comfortable' and was part of our daily life like our home, job, family, friends, has been turned upside down and we are questioning everything in our life, especially who we have in it and what we have in it,

Theres this huge sudden need to want to be on our own, to leave our job and a need to find something more satisfying, and fulfilling, there is a huge feeling that everything we currently have is wrong for us, these feelings are normal and are felt by many even myself, all l say to people that talk about this and are concerned by it is to really look at what is bothering you and to do something constructive and proactive about it.

If you feel this huge urge to make drastic changes do it, follow your intuition and be guided by your heart, listen to your soul and what it needs to feel balanced, and feel what your spirit needs to be set free, for far too long we have been living in a world that tries to control, dominate and manipulate us and our way of thinking.

Now many are waking up and trying to break away from the traditions and routines, its our soul/spirit that is trying to remind us of who and what we are really about which is a spirit having a physical experience, and one when we need to honor ourselves and our soul to experience higher vibrational experiences so we can enter a new way of living, thinking, doing and acting, which will help to lead to finding balance within and a deeper understanding of ourselves, the world and the universe and to connect with one another on a higher vibration, enjoy this ascension process even the difficult times as know that you are being healed within to help to make your body, mind and soul interconnect in its true form,

Imagine a world without greed and acquisitiveness. Where communities lived to support each other and lived in harmony with the other around them. To live in balance with nature so they would give back as much as they took - and they only took just what was needed anyway. No scarring of the land. No belching industrial complexes.

No mass invasions for commodoties and imperialistic acquisition of land. No dictators crushing liberty. Only freedom.....living with nature not against her. Living with all five physical senses alert and alive. Reading the signs of nature with our own hearts and living in accord with those rhythms. Caretakers of the Earth not parasites bleeding her dry, causing her harm, sowing discord and destruction.

This is a world that could so easily be. It is never too late. May we learn as a species to live with heart and spirit and not with greed and ego. Let us run free through the forest alive with simple joys and return to the bosoms of our loving communities. The forests would rather see us as the friends and guardians we are meant to be, than view us with suspicion and hostility as the threat our species poses. The spirits of our ancestors know this, and quietly watch from the deths of the woods, urging us to choose a-right. May it one day be so, and may we live to see the joy on the faces of our children and grand-children as they live in a world free of the stresses of this modern unjust way of living.

The Pagan Path 1

Understanding does not depend upon the head; it depends upon the heart. By the help of the head one can make it more clear, it becomes intelligible and one can express it better. But to begin with it must come from the heart, not from the head. Besides, a person who only uses his head says, 'It must be so because I think it is so', whereas the person who has the heart quality says, 'It is so because I believe it to be so'. That is the difference. In one person there is a doubt, in the other there is conviction. ... Spiritual attainment is nothing but conviction. ... When a person arrives at the stage when the knowledge of reality becomes a conviction, then there is nothing in the world that will change it. And if there is anything to attain to, it is that conviction which one can never find in the outside world; it must rise from the depths of one's own heart.

Be proud to be a Pagan, We as pagans alike have a long proud history. The world was built on pagan theology, we were the first builders and architects, we introduced roads, laws and the Idea of God. We invented writing and language, art, astrology. We created tools, festivals, weddings and just about everything we do today, through the ancient Romans, Greeks, Vikings, Egyptians, Indians. All new modern religions and religious holidays are based on Pagan Gods and Pagan ideology. Love yourself, love Nature, love being a Pagan and love being a Witch.

Every path towards the light, is honorable, true and right- though the same can't be said for every conclusion drawn along those paths, nor for every belief adopted on the way. Seek the truth, not a path, and the light will enfold you.

It is in you, deep inside you where the wings for freedom are lying, hidden from your own fears and burdens, and again it is in you the potential to take out those wings to make your dreams come true.
The most important aspect of love is not in giving or the receiving: it's in the being. When I need love from others, or need to give love to others, I'm caught in an unstable situation. Being in love, rather than giving or taking love, is the only thing that provides stability. Being in love means seeing God all around me.

Sometimes in this game of life, the winning move is not to play. When I think about that it makes me think of those things that do not serve and grow my spirit. Such as: feeding into negative energies, impatience, drama, self pity, jealousy, fear, and anything that causes anxiety or a blockage from the natural flow of Love in my spirit. I get to choose what I participate in today. This is my game. This is my life. I don't need to compete or argue or explain my moves. I don't need to focus so much on the "winning" at any cost, because the truth is, I have already won...simply by existing. I have the power to put down these heavy burdens, to lighten my load, and turn my full attention inward to swim freely and blissfully in the Kingdom of Heaven which exists within me. That is where the Light shines from. That is where life explodes in Love and in joy. That is the place I connect with Source. Nothing else matters. I will not forfeit. I will not conform to any false source outside of myself.

Our old age was in some aspects the happiest period of life. Advancing years brought them freedom of laborious tasks and restrictions of customs and etiquette which were religiously observed by all others. No one who is at all acquainted with the Indian in his home can deny that we are a polite people.

The Consciousness of the Soul

The whole aim of the present crisis is to shift the focus of human awareness out of the form and the material aspect of living into the consciousness of the Soul. These few words hold the blueprint of the divine plan for the evolution of human consciousness. The crisis referred to was the global battle that raged during the first half of the 20th century—the two world wars that were viewed from the inner planes as one prolonged conflict. At that time, the spiritual guides of humanity harbored the hope that the horrors of war would awaken us from the ancient illusion of separation, based on the outer appearance of things in the form world, and pave the way for a new era born of the soul’s awareness of unity.

Tragically, it has taken the staggering crises of the 21st century to foster this awareness on a large scale. In the wake of a decade of disaster, magnified this week by the devastation of Haiti, the words above ring true with heightened clarity. With every passing year of this new millennium the outlines of the plan of evolution have become more lucid. Growing numbers of us realize that hidden forces are catalyzing a global shift in consciousness from matter to spirit. It appears that this intensifying time of transition is jolting us “out of the form and the material aspect of living—into the consciousness of the Soul.”

To ease the pain and sorrow of these times, it can be helpful to realize that a higher purpose is being served by the present course of events. A divine plan is working out. All who can read the “book of life” in the happenings of our time will discern the workings of the esoteric principle that the destruction of old forms precedes the creation of new ones. This truth applies universally to all forms—from the physical form of a human being to a community, a nation, and even a world order. Form dies to free the spirit within to take on a new form more appropriate to the evolving consciousness. Spirit Itself never dies.

For a seeker of any era, but particularly now as an old order breaks apart before our eyes, truth is vital sustenance for the journey. As we move through this time of transition from one age to another, the light of truth nourishes the light of our souls and keeps us moving toward the source of Light. A new glimmer of truth may last for only a moment, like a flash of lightning that brightens the night sky. But light invariably attracts light. Its magnetism draws us forward on the journey toward even greater light and truth.

But what is truth? And how do we recognize it? In the post-modern era, intellectuals came to believe that truth, like everything else, was relative. There was no unassailable Truth because everyone’s individual truth was deemed equally valid. At the dawn of the global age of pluralism, this was a needed corrective which served to break the stranglehold of religious and cultural absolutism. But it also led to a blind alley. If there is no absolute truth, there can be no standard for integrity or morality.

And yet, within the swelling ranks of those who are awakening and stepping onto the Path, the soul has begun to recognize a higher dimension of truth. As Emerson wrote, “The soul is the perceiver and revealer of truth… We know truth when we see it… as we know when we are awake that we are awake.” Proof that universal Truth exists lies in its power to ignite sparks of recognition. Just as we know the power of beauty to open the heart, and the power of goodness to heal, we know the power of truth to kindle the light of the soul.

The greatest source of truth about this critical moment in evolution and what it portends for our future is the modern esoteric teaching known as the Ageless Wisdom. These books that appear all over the world were written to prepare humanity for this radical shift in our evolutionary journey. Their purpose was to help us bridge the divide between the old age (of Pisces) to the new age (of Aquarius) by transforming our identity as physical beings to that of awakened spiritual beings, conscious souls.

The appearance of these books in the first half of the 20th century formed part of the Divine Plan of Evolution. Most of the books were transmitted to her by an advanced member of the Kingdom of Souls— masters of wisdom, such as Krishna, Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad . Their mission was to reveal the workings of the spiritual realm of Reality and the Path by which human beings learn to contact this inner realm. There dwell the inner guides and teachers of humanity, the Creator who form the spiritual hierarchy of our planet and oversee the working out of the divine plan.

Despite the appearance of growing chaos in our world, we live in an ordered universe. It looks to the outer eye as if life on our planet is deteriorating, and yet we know that a global spiritual awakening is taking place. To the inner eye, the divine plan is working out in and through and behind the outer chaos. In response to the mounting toll of human suffering around the globe, the Soul of humanity is increasingly becoming manifest through compassionate giving and humanitarian aid. As the scale of catastrophe grows, the heart of humanity opens wider. External barriers are dissolving, soul consciousness is arising; all is in alignment with the divine Plan.

The awakened soul is the gateway to the new era. The development of soul awareness is as pivotal to the new age as was the development of mind to the cycle now ending. The ageless wisdom reveals that the human kingdom came into being millions of years ago when the spark of divine mind was implanted in the most advanced members of the animal kingdom of that time. That spark endowed us with intelligence that would allow us to eventually master the material plane of living. But it also contained a spiritual dimension that is emerging only now, as the soul comes alive within us and the new era unfolds.

Learning to see with the eye of the soul can help us move through the portal to the new era with wisdom and equanimity. It will also help us discover the unique role that each of us can play in this time of urgent need. Through the soul’s eye we recognize our oneness with all of humanity and feel moved to serve and uplift the whole. As the new age unfolds, we will come to know our place in the great Chain of Being. We will recognize the Kingdom of Souls, from which masters of wisdom guide our evolution, and will learn to serve the lesser kingdoms on Earth in fulfillment of the divine Plan.

Unveiling The Name Of GOD

We will now explore without doubt, the most ponderous we shall ever address in this series Tres Linguae Sacrae. In fact, it is not really a word; it is a name, but not any ordinary name.

It is the nomen ineffabile, the ineffable name.
It is the nomen incommunicabile, the incommunicable name.
It is the nomen terribile, the terrible name. (Ps. 99[98]:3)
It is the nomen sanctum, the holy name. (Ps. 111[110]:9)

It is the very name of God: YHWH (יהוה), which translated means something along the lines of "He who is," Eis qui est.

The Jews call it "the Name," or Hashem (Lev. 24:11, 16; Deut. 28:58), and indeed the unutterable name, Shem Hameforash.

St. Thomas Aquinas agrees with the traditional Jew. In his Summa Theologiae, St. Thomas Aquinas says this name is the most suitable name for God--more suitable than its translation "He who is," and more suitable than the word God itself--since it signifies "the substance of God itself," and is "incommunicable, and, if one make so speak, singular," incommunicabilem, et, ut sic liceat loqui, singularem. (ST Ia q. 13 a. 11, ad. 1).

It is a wonderful patrimony that Christians have inherited from the revelation of God to Moses and for which we ought to be forever grateful: "The God of our faith has revealed himself as HE WHO IS," YHWH, the One with the ineffable, incommunicable, terrible, and holy name. CCC § 231.

The word YHWH comes to us from Hebrew, and is composed of four Hebrew letters. Yod, He, Waw, and He. For this reason, it is called the Tetragrammaton, a word that comes from Greek meaning "four letters." In his Stromata (V.6), St. Clement of Alexandria calls it the "mystic name of four letters," to tetragrammon honoma to mystikon.

Because Hebrew originally did not have vowels, there is some uncertainty and therefore dispute among scholars as to how the name is actually pronounced: Yahweh or Yawveh are the most likely possible alternatives. It is exceedingly unlikely that the popular Jehovah is the correct pronunciation.

The name of God--YHWH--is found over 6,800 times in the Old Testament. It appears approximately 650 times in the Psalms alone. It first appears in Genesis 2:4. The only books of the Old Testament in which the unutterable name does not appear are Ecclesiastes, the Book of Esther, and Song of Songs.

God revealed Himself in this manner when He revealed Himself to Moses on Mount Horeb in the theophany of the Burning Bush (Ex. 3:1-22). In response to Moses' question as to what he should tell the oppressed Israelites when they ask him the name of the God who had appeared to Him, God responded.

"I am who am."
Ehyeh asher Ehyeh
Ego sum qui sum (Vulgate)
Εγώ εἰμι ὁ ὤν (LXX)

"This is what you shall tell the Israelites," God continues. "I AM sent me to you. . . . this is my name for ever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations." (Ex. 3:14-15) "I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob," God tells Moses, "but my name, YHWH, I did not make known to them." (Ex. 6:3)

So it is that the first person "I am," EHYEH (אֶהְיֶה) becomes the third person YHWH (יהוה), which translated means something along the lines of "HE WHO IS," Eis qui est.

What is the significance of God having a name?

In his book Introduction to Christianity, before he was Pope Benedict XVI, Joseph Ratzinger broached the issue of the revelation of the name of God, Yahweh, and what "specifically new element was expressed" by that name. The various answers that might be given to this question Ratzinger said are many. The Catechism of the Catholic Church puts forth the most common:

God reveals his name to Moses to show that he is a personal God that wishes to make Himself known to mankind. "God has a name; he is not an anonymous force. To disclose one's name is to make oneself known to others." CCC § 203.

God's name is an expression of his faithfulness. "The divine name, 'I Am' or 'He is,' expresses God's faithfulness." CCC § 211.

God's name suggests that he is unchangeable and unchanging, is subject to "no variation or shadow due to change," which--when coupled with his fidelity--means that he is "ever faithful to Himself and to his promises," and is "abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness." CCC § 212, 214 (Cf. Jas. 1:7; Ex. 34:6)

God's name expresses his uniqueness--He is the one and only God. One of the "riches contained in the revelation of the divine name" is that "God is unique; there are no other gods beside him." CCC § 212 (Is. 44:6)

God's name suggests that he is transcendent, that, as creator of heaven and earth, "He transcends the world and history." CCC § 212.

"The revelation of the ineffable name "I AM WHO AM" contains then the truth that God alone IS. . . . . God is the fullness of Being and of every perfection, without origin and without end. All creatures receive all that they are and have from him; but he alone is his very being, and he is of himself everything that he is." CCC § 213.

As a theologian, Joseph Ratzinger suggests that we go beyond these truths, without denying them in any sense, and discover something even more marvelous. Is YHWH even properly speaking a name? "This question may at first seem nonsensical, for it is indisputable that Israel knew the word Yahweh as a name for God," as, of course, does the Catechism.

What Ratzinger suggests is that the revelation by God that his name is YWHW is really a "rebuff" or a "refusal to give a name than the announcement of a name." God's name may be that he is nameless because His real essence, as God, is unknowable. As Meister Eckhart puts it "God is nameless, for no man can know or say anything of Him."

Ratzinger suggests perhaps even the implication of a divine displeasure--I would have suggested coyness--at Moses' importunity at asking God a question which is unanswerable to men: "I am just who I am."

(God, it seems, cannot be known by name until he became incarnate and received the human name of Jesus. There is no problem in naming a person who has a human nature.)

Ratzinger compares the Mosaic theophany with a similar event in Judges 13:18 where Manoah asks the God he meets for his name. "Why do you ask my name, seeing it is a secret?" (or "wonderful") Through this deft question, God avoids having to reveal his name to Manoah perhaps because Manoah is incapable of comprehending it.

Something similar happens to Jacob in Genesis 32:29, the great wrestling match of Jacob with God. After his lengthy wrestling with God, Jacob asks this stranger his name, only to receive a deflection, a "gesture of repulse": "Why is it that you ask my name?" Since God's substance--his name--is incomprehensible, there is no good reason for asking such a question because even if God answered it, man has no capacity for it.

Ratzinger suggest that the reason that God avoids giving his name in any ordinary sense is to distinguish Himself from the gods of the nations all about Israel. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob does not have the same kind of name as the many gods of the nations round about Israel.

"The God of the burning bush will not put himself on a level with them." A name comprehends, restrains, allows control over a god, and the God will not--cannot--be comprehended by a creature.

At best, God's name--YHWH--is only a name in an analogical sense. God's name is similar to the names we give people and places and with which we are familiar. But there is an infinite difference or dissimilarity between God's name and those names, common and proper, with which we are familiar.

God's response to Moses and His revelation of the name YHWH, suggests Ratzinger, "serves as a kind of negative theology." It is a name that is not an ordinary name, as it "cancels out the significance of the name as a name; it effects a sort of withdrawal from the only too well known, which the name seems to be, into the unknown, the hidden." It is a name infinitely above any other name that we know while pilgrims on this earth. It is beyond our experience.

So the name-which-is-not-a-name with which God responds to Moses, "dissolves the name into mystery, so that the familiarity and unfamiliarity of God, concealment and revelation, are indicated simultaneously. The name, a sign of acquaintance, becomes the cipher for the perpetually unknown and unnamed quality of God. Contrary to the view that God can here be grasped, so to speak, the persistence of an infinite distance is in this way made quite clear."

"To this extent it was in the last analysis a legitimate development that led people in Israel more and more to avoid pronouncing this name, to use some sort of periphrasis, so that in the Greek Bible it no longer occurs at all but is simply replaced by the word "Lord." This development shows in many ways a more accurate understanding of the mystery of the burning bush than multifarious learned philological explanations do."

In our next article, we will address this last issue, i.e., the Jewish practice of avoid pronouncing the name of God, and the use of some sort of periphrasis--usually the use of the word Adonai (in Hebrew, meaning Lord), though the name YHWH remained in the Hebrew text.

In the Greek translation of the Jewish Scriptures which occurred in the 2nd century B.C. under Jewish auspices, the Septuagint, the name YHWH was replaced in the text with Kyrios (the Greek word for "Lord). Therefore, referring to YHWH as "Lord" was a custom which was carried over by the Christians, who did not use the Tetragrammaton YWHW, but used the Septuagint where it had been replaced with Kyrios ("Lord" in Greek).

In the Latin translations of the Old Testament, the practice was carried over with the use of Dominus ("Lord" in Latin). It is a custom followed by the Catholic Church in her official translations of the Scriptures, and in her liturgy, where the divine name--YHWH--is replaced by the word Lord (in capital letters to indicate that it is in stead of the divine name).

We shall see in the next article that this practice has tremendous implications in our understanding of Jesus--His name, and Who He claimed to be--and in the way we worship God in the liturgy.

By saying "I am who I am" to the question from Moses God was searching himself to mean He is God , which is to say He is The God & there is no other. However in terms of His name He told Moses "Go tell them "I AM'' send you. So the revelation to His name is "I AM' understood as Life that has no beginning or end which is His state for His name is His state, so is His state His name, meaning He is one in state & name . As far as the Jews name "hashem" read backwards more or less is to the pronunciation- Mesiah. This is like god instead searching himself to reveal "I am" is saying "am I" to questioning himself. On this there sure is a lot of difference, the difference between true & false.

From the Old and New Testaments, we know with certainty that God exists as a Trinity. But all the various "names" granted to man by which to know God are actually titles with meanings. For example, the name "Jesus Christ" is a title translated to mean "the anointed one through whom God grants salvation." However, God has an actual personal name that He has not revealed to mankind. "He has a name written which no man knows except himself." (APOC. 19:12)

Upon entering the "holy of holies" in ancient Hebrew temples, the Jewish high priest's deepest aspiration was to be told God's true name, yet no high priest was ever granted that privilege. Neither will anyone be granted that privilege until being invited to the Wedding Feast of the Lamb in Heaven after the Final Judgment, at which time God will reveal His secrets to the saved. "There is nothing hidden that will not be made known."

Lucifer and his rebellious angels will not be invited to that holy event. Hence, for all eternity they will never learn God's personal name, nor will they ever see Him in the fullness of His glory. The closest Lucifer has ever come to God was to speak with Him through a obscuring veil.

The Universal Energy Matrix

We need to free our souls. For that is the only way one can experience heaven on earth. When we leave this body, we await to enter another. Heaven is the human experience! Look at it this way, we are conscious light beings, having a human experience.

The minute you free your soul, you allow the infinite light and creational energy within you to burst forth into the world. We are prisoners of our MINDS, which have been conditioned to operate in fear, thus leading us to unconsciously manifest situations and relationships we don’t desire. We have been duped, having the instruction manual to our species stripped away from us at birth, by an elitist faction; who have enslaved us through the suppression of our true nature and history. We are all psychic, telepathy is a natural human skill, we have just been programmed, and deceived to believe otherwise.

We are more! We are biological computers! ! We are brilliant and must realize our reality perception is really our reality SELECTION. Everything we experience through this biological computer, otherwise known as the body, branches from either FEAR or LOVE. Every emotion, every relationship, everything we experience! branches from love or fear, it’s that simple. Affirm control over yourself, and embrace the love.

Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. Look at both your successes and your failures as lessons to be learned and used as wisdom in the future. That is really what everything in life is - a lesson for us to learn. The things which work out perfect and the things which are total disasters, both teach us lessons that we can learn from and use at some future time, if we will learn our lesson.

And, it is important that you actually learn the lesson presented by each event. The Universe has a way of trying to teach us the same lesson over and over again, until we final grasp what it is we should learn from the lesson. For now own, look at each event in your life and ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?" The answer may surprise you.

Sacred Lessons

Troubles in life come when we believe the myth that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. We are taken over by envy, believing that other people have the good stuff and then feeling depressed, anxious, and persecuted by the belief that we have so little. We are taken over by greed, wanting more and more and more, feeling that what we have cannot ever be enough.

The reason why this attitude undermines mental health is that it leads us to turn away from the main task of life which is to make the most of what we have. By denying the goodness of our very own lives, we believe that we have nothing good to work with nor the capacity to work with it. We lose focus, self-confidence, and hope.

At first, this can feel very deflating. We must bust the myth that we can have someone else's life, someone else's castle, someone else's lawn. If we can accept reality for what it is, we have the chance to develop it, to improve it, and to grow it.

The grass is not, in fact, always greener on the other side of the fence. No, not at all. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you are.

Our lessons are very sacred. They are the basic ingredient of our greatness. To accept them we must be open. To receive them we must be willing.

Staying quiet doesn't mean I have nothing to say, it means I don't think you are ready to hear my thoughts yet.

It is a mistake to assume that the quiet person has nothing to say or is not following the conversation. Most of the time, it is the quiet person is who giving the conversation the most thought, but is simply much more careful about when and where he shares his thoughts. It is not always wise to share your thoughts on every subject or with everybody.

We should all take some wisdom from the quiet person and think deeply about what we share, when we share it, and who we share it with. Not everyone is ready to hear your thoughts, or even capable of processing your thoughts. Be selective when it comes to sharing your inner most thoughts on certain subjects. Think before you talk.

A plateau is never the final destination. It is a resting place. A place to catch your breath. It wasn't easy getting there! Take some time to look back upon the ascent from where you came from; from where you once were. Then lift up your face, look ahead, and let the anticipation rise for where you're headed. Never stop reaching and never stop climbing for that higher place.

Our intentions are very powerful, especially these days, since the veil between this world and other worlds/ dimensions is thinning at an ever increasing rate! The time between thought/ feeling into form/ manifestation is speeding up like crazy! Anyway, I encourage people to set an intention for the day, whatever that is, and then surrender the need to control, and allow the Universe, through your intuition/ signs you receive, to guide you. If you continue about your day listening to your intuition, relaxing as much as possible, flowing as much as possible, and basically living in the NOW as much as possible, well, that relaxed, joyful energy will rapidly attract your desires!

Oh Spiritual Traveler

Every soul has a destiny. Throughout history we have heard and seen how life was before we were even a thought in two consenting adults. Our ancestors are keys to our past; they unlock secrets, bring about good fortune and sometimes crown us royalty. Finding out who you are is what everyone really wants. They want to know why they are who they are and how they got there. We all started somewhere; either from a far away country or perhaps we never left our roots. If you were to go back in time, where would you go? Who do you want to see? Even if you could never change events, you might at least get a little insight to your destiny and learn how better to make the most of your life. Past lives have always fascinated me…wondering if you were someone else in a past life. How exciting and yet kind of freaky? Of course. That is the beauty of life.

My heritage is mostly that of English and Native American. There is some spiritual traditions that interests me more and I am still investigating. I found a name that struck a sensory and it had everything to do with some of these spiritual tradition. Wow...I felt the back of my neck hairs rise up, not scary or terrifying, but intrigued and curious. You see, throughout my life, I have always felt that I am different -- not in a morbid or bad way -- in a way that I can only describe as meant for something and very in tune with my surroundings.

I think I will start with what I can remember from when I was a kid. First of all, I was not brought up a spiritual person. I was brought up Baptist, not a bad Christian religion. I lived in Virginia at the time and this meant lots of banquets, parties, celebrations and people with money donating to the church. My grandpa was a devote pastor of a local church, treasurer and very active for a 80 year-old. It was awesome, watching my grandpa preach in church (I can still hear his voice loud and strong) ; I was in the kids’ church, mostly lots of playing and snacks. I did enjoy going to church with my grandpa. Somehow, I knew I was making a memory every time and to this day I treasure those memories.

After I moved to Tennessee in 1989; I took a trip to the library and checked out as many Religious and spiritual books as I could carry. I went home and read every one of them. I started lighting candles, incense and began to pray to God for wisdom and truth.

My fascination with religious and spiritual books never really stopped. I just got busy doing other things . My closet was turned into a ritual room filled with pictures of loved ones who had passed, my animals’ pictures were in there as well. Nature was also close to me and still is very much. I was making ritual circles before I even knew what they were. (Funny, sometimes my prayers work and sometimes they are a little off. I stopped writing for a while because it startled me that IT actually happened like I wrote it.)

Anyway, I thought church was fun and it was great that it made people happy and “born again”. But sometimes I felt like it wasn’t a place for me. This bothered me because this was a place to pray and feel comfortable. I can't explain it. One day, I happened upon something on the computer about Pagans, covens and how these groups had a strong belief in Gods and Goddesses and Mother Nature. I couldn’t stop reading. Suddenly I wanted to know more about Pagan Tradition and and the connection they made!

The more I read, the more I realized I had a lot in common with some of the pagan ideas and philosophy. All of the things I had been doing since I was a kid now made just made sense. This was not a coincidence. I found what I have been missing in religion and today I am relaxed and comfortable in my beliefs. I have a strong feeling that it will be one that makes a huge impact on mankind. I know this sounds kind of ‘way out there’ but it is what I feel.

The ‘supernatural’ comes natural to me, the GODS, Angels, and entities are mostly just trying to connect, as we all do, and they make communications with those who are open-minded and curious. They exist, but not on the level that we are. Spirits can see, hear, and feel. They see us like they used to. If we are not aware of them, we just go about our regular day doing what we do and never know that a spirit is standing right next to us. There are actually many people who have sensory perception, but they shrug it off, and all those subtle hints and clues, they tune out.

Like I said before, I am on a journey. I go about my daily routine but I do so as a pagan, one that is listening with all eyes and ears. Being a pagan has really given me a new sense of well-being. I like to grow fresh veggies and am really big on eating healthy;

Pagans always seem to get a bad rap. In the 1600's, the Salem witches were the “healers”, the people locals would go in the middle of the night to get the spell or help they needed to fix their woes and problems. Somehow, the witches became the enemy after that and they were blamed for any bad thing that happened to the townsfolk. They were tried and hanged. Every woman who even looked suspicious was hanged and their friends and/or family as well. Ever wonder if you could go back in time and challenge that one-sided thinking? I do.

Finding other people like me was hard at first but sometimes some have come forward to ask curious questions. I am always happy to help them find their way. My rituals and blessings are pretty much done in solitude and without other eyes I have some awesome figurines, such as dragons, faeries, angels, Buddha, Jesus, Mother Mary and other beings on my alter that I am collecting to keep on my altar. My current quest to find an authentic cauldron, but fun. Making wands with the correct wood and crystals is one of my gifts (I don’t buy them straight out) . It makes it more personal and so the spell will have a stronger power.

My Pagan studies are primarily done quietly and in private because if I were to do my rituals in my living room or even outside, I have no protection, no hiding fence to seclude myself and I really don’t know my neighbors, other than the fact that every Sunday most of them take off to church. So, for right now, I will restrain from redecorating my living room and hanging my broom on my patio wall.

In the winter, which it is now (February) I hunker down and watch the cold. The colness outside is still and the sky is dark and the only birds I hear are the crows flying around looking for food. They become increasingly bolder the colder the weather gets. Mother Nature is dormant and the re-birthing will soon begin with the cycle all over again. This is when I focus on my studies and try to learn more about how to be a better witch and hone my strengths and skills. It gives me empowerment and strength to know I am different from other people, I have always been keen to the smallest things and objects around me and I really do appreciate being able to sense the spirits in this world.

In the spring and summer, it is really beautiful and the daylight lasts a long time in Tennessee. I get to make plans for my outdoor and indoor garden and when the cold is gone I will find all kinds of rocks, sticks and things Mother Nature has hidden from the elements. I also have a veggie garden that is pretty big. My favorite thing to do is make a circle of elements around a tree, complete with special rocks and candles. It is always in a safe secret area and is pretty inconspicuous, even if a stranger walked into my backyard. Being a person who also happens to be a pagan is actually the most beneficial thing to me in my quest for spiritual oneness.

I see shadows and hear voices very clearly in the night. I dream about happenings, not just random dreams, dreams that are repeated and are very clear. I am typing right now and it is clear that there is a spirit right behind me. (I have been doing this before I ever came out of my “witches closet”.)

As life goes on, I became more in tune with myself. I started small rituals, mostly to help me to tune in the spiritual realm that is around me. Every time, I would feel like I wasn’t alone. These were never negative spirits and shadows but I believe they are spirits who are there to protect me and guide me and even help me find my way to awakening.

In many ways, my beliefs can only be shared with a few friends. I am still living in my closet. On the plus side, my rituals and blessings (even the simple ones) are assisting me in being aware and “seeing” the spiritual realm around me. They are there and I live with them, or they live with me.

There is so much to learn and understand, because spirits and shadows (that what I call ghosts) are all around us. This planet is one of many that can sustain life, both living and spiritual. Someday, humans will travel far into the solar system, even further than we are now and maybe discover another planet much like this one. Spirits exist; bodies die and souls are freed. The voice in your head that keeps you safe and that “feeling” you have is real. Our world is full of the living and the “living” spirits, some related to you and some not. They are there watching you and protecting you.

We, as humans, are given many opportunities to “see”, but only the open-minded are able to see. Pagans have been around longer than Christianity. Pagans can be seen as nature loving, earth conscious people with special gifts that they can use. They are given the gifts to teach to other “open-minded” people. I am proud to say that I am Pagan and a Witch and I have never felt so empowered as I do right now.

Paganism is one of the more flexible religions I've ever seen. It branches out and grows deeper as we continue its practice. A big part of that practice is ‘self’ and ‘community’ and how these concepts relate to one another, like an infinity loop. It is intimately personal yet binds us together with its practice and our reverence for it. It is also a mystery religion--meaning that there are some things that cannot be spoken, can only be experienced, as one becomes aware of, sensitive to, and works with the ebb and flow of nature, energies, and life.

I've done a lot of thinking. It is my life's dream to be able to serve the spiritual communities and I have worked long and hard and will continue to do so. As a practitioner of the Native American Tradition -- and at a point where I have examined all of the world's religions and seen underlying common threads -- I have come to recognize the idea that all religions have a 'purpose' of sorts.

Many people say that we don't need any religion for that matter, to live a good life. So why do it? Let me elaborate: The general point we've agree sometimes in our conversations and in circle is that we, as people, don't need to revere the gods or put ourselves subservient to one another. We can acknowledge the gods as existent despite the acknowledgement that once we die we keep on going. All that we need in life is to live ethically and help our fellows to be the best people and to make life a little better for each other. We often joke about how funny it is that an atheist is engaged to clergy! (Especially when family members or friends realize it. That just makes it more of a hoot.)

We often like to use the computer analogy in our discussions, too: each person is hardwired for spirituality and energy runs through us and everything around us. What religion (or software) we choose to use -- as conscious users of our vessels while we're incarnated here for our span of roughly 100 years -- is up to us, but everything reaches back to the Source. This gives us a moral/ethical framework as well. We grow with it just as it grows with us.

Not all religions do this. Some are more rigid. Ours can be as flexible or rigid as people prefer in personal practice. I have been in covens where there has been a set ritual format, and I've been in one where the ritual format could change drastically, depending on who was doing it and what was going on. It was very fluid. We have variety in life and in practices, just as we have choices and free will/higher will.

We don't need ‘religion’ to be good people or to live better lives. We don't need any of the religions in the world. We simply need to honor and be more aware of our fellow people and surroundings, and to live through respect, love, compassion, strength of personal honor and forgiveness, knowing when to call out against injustices and find objective justice and truths, among other things. All of these things are cornerstones of a healthy foundation of ethics by which to live. They don't get much emphasis outside of a religious context today.

I, for one, grew up with very little emphasis on these things. When introduced to them as a youth, I laughed at every one of them and only saw them in the context of religion. I mocked them and didn't develop appreciation for them until I grew substantially enough to embrace and honor them. There are many people out there who shun religion, yet struggle to live well and to find ethics that mean something to them. I often wonder as to whether or not this lack of ethics leads to increased violence and breach of trust in today's society.

Religion makes it easier to appreciate and understand ethical self-growth and ethical behavior. It gives us a context to help us out. Then we can do the rest. I contemplate that the number of people out there who can live an ethically sound life without religion are likely very few. Thus religion is still needed: it provides a framework for spiritual growth. Its most obvious importance, which often gets overlooked, is the ethical/moral codes often embedded within. For us, these are the Wiccan Rede, Charges of the God/dess and the Thirteen Goals of a Witch.

YHWH and his angels have bestowed upon us gifts, talents and skills. We experience love in life for Them, for our family and for the friends. Most importantly, the ethical 'harm none' and the sacred charges we live by serve as our spiritual framework. And when you strip Wicca of its tools, what do you have? The reverence. The devotion and love. The world around you. Society and its many mixed blessings. Your role in things, because you are alive, and able to contribute however you choose. Your very self, your intent therein- and the ethical guidelines by which you grew as part of your foundation.

We as a species have a natural desire to protect that which is precious to us. This is also echoed in nature. We know what is important to us and step forward with it. The ferocity of a lion protecting her cub is unmatched: the cub is her perpetuation of the species, something to treasure, her way of giving to the world in exchanging for the lives she takes in order to survive. There is balance. Her religion is that of survival.

We as a human species rely on each other to survive. We just happen to have an ability to interact with the world to a greater extent, and religion is something that only we have come up with in our desire to know, learn and grow. We are still human animals but conscience is a unique thing to our species (though other species have degrees of empathy and will help each other in unique circumstances) . All life is intelligent, even on a subatomic level. Religion helps us feed our spiritual selves. Without feeding our spiritual selves, we wither and living becomes more difficult, or even unfulfilling to one extent or another. Life seeks to know itself. Science helps us explain the how. Spirituality helps us understand whys, in various ways. It's been said over and over, but how each of us interprets that will be different.

We experienced a beautiful bouquet of "themes and flavors"- Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Muhammad, Celtic tradition, shamanism, ' and more. We even saw a hotbed of activity as Christian Paganism started synthesizing and harmonizing two seemingly oppositional (at face value) religions. However, unlike the Chinese buffet where we took what we wanted with the idea of simply feeding ourselves, I believe a underlying agreement: to live well, to help one another, and to connect with each other. The message is relayed through different religions, and yet due to the strict dogma, I perceive that they failed often at the harmony-with-one's-fellows part.

I believe that spirituality is an exercise of personal empowerment. And what plagues us, our society, and our planet is the absence of true personal power."***

It is my thought and opinion that my ultimate purpose is that of transformation. Helping each other and living well with the earth- and having the gift (as well as privilege/skill) of knowing how to work magick and be an energetic conduit for such- is what we do. It builds these aforementioned cornerstones of respect, love, and good ethics. Yes, there will always be a couple bad apples making the rest look bad, but that's a given, isn't it? In the meantime, we must continue onward, outward and inward.

We don't need any religion to live a good life and support our fellow people, as I said at the beginning of this message. However, it's always a good idea to explore, choose what works for us. If you're reading this, you might have settled in with your tradition, as I have. You've chosen it or it's chosen you. Either way, you're here, reading this.

Choosing true spirituality gives us a more in-depth appreciation for it. Our purpose could be said to be that of transformation. Rather than walk a narrow path, we walk all over. We come back with a myriad of colors to weave into our personal tapestry. We use our ethical stance to shape who we are and who we wish to become. Many of us, myself included, have become better people due to Wicca.

Part of any religion is to help shape an individual, but perspective lenses wind up getting 'stuck' now and then- i.e., people sometimes go from "I am a good person and I follow this religious path and agree with its ethical/moral guideline" to "I am a good person because I am of ___ religion". There is a marked difference. I consider a major measure of a religion not to be ‘what's most fulfilling to the practitioner/individual’ but rather how well do practitioners choose to grow with what they've taken in for themselves and how they then reach back outward to reciprocate.

We walk the path of transformation together. We transform ourselves, and by knowing each other and interacting with others. They are never the same as they were beforehand. Your conscience is always your guide; it is a gift we each have and we are impelled in paganism to call upon it constantly. We are all different and we revel in and respect our differences with ferocity! Every Wiccan is almost always totally different than the next. We have no leader and we never will." ~Thysta**

I do need a spiritual awakening, as it is a valid, very beautiful understanding that promotes personal self-growth and a wonderful ethical/moral guide. It works for each being that comes to it seeking such. It transforms us for the better; it calls to those meant to walk the path. And as it is for all the above reasons, it is definitely something desirable, helpful, useful, and wonderful.

We begin and end, continue and evolve continually, enriching our practice and reciprocating as an open conduit to Deity, especially where it is one-on-one later on in our practices. It is good to sporadically challenge ourselves as well, and think not on just the things we have already learned and what interests us, but upon more abstract topics, such as where we have been, where we might be going, our role in things, our purpose, how to reach out to others, and more.

I hope that I've given you something interesting and always appreciate hearing your thoughts. I have certainly tooted the horn of "Paganism is awesome because" a couple times, and I hope that I do not do so too often! (I don't proselytize, but I'm all for spouting my enjoyment of Paganism. And by 'enjoyment' I mean, "really appreciate positively various points". If we didn't 'enjoy' our work to one extent or another, I'd say we're being -too- serious. Part of our craft is to enjoy life!)

To those of you just beginning your Spiritual journey: every moment is a gift. Never be afraid to challenge yourself once in a while. It's good for you. There will be times that will challenge you; accept the challenge by the horns and if you need to, hang on tight. Keep your eyes, heart and mind open and study not just this religion, but others as well.

When was the last time you actually thought about who you are? With all the demands that life places on us, it is very easy to get caught up in performing our duties and we end up loosing track of who we are. We forget about our goals, our dreams. We fail to create time to improve ourselves, especially in the spiritual realm. In fact, many of us fail to really know who we are.

Now its time to Know Yourself’. This does not just include knowing your roles in society, although this is a part of it. Each of us may be an employee, student, parent, spouse, musician, writer, child, religious, or any host of other titles. Yet these combined titles or duties fail to completely define who we are.

The goal of knowing yourself goes much deeper than just knowing your roles. It is more like seeking to answer the age-old questions of “What am I and what is my purpose here?” Humankind has been asking these questions in one form or another for centuries.

The answer lies in knowing that we are comprised of many aspects, or characteristics, which combine to define who we are… our personality, nature, and individuality. Before we can accurately begin to define who we are, we first must analyze each of these major components. Once we are able to define the individual parts, we will then be better equipped to correctly define the whole.

Listing each individual component of ourselves would require volumes to cover. For our purpose, we will focus on four major categories that collectively contain all of our individual characteristics. Each of us is comprised of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects. These categories may be viewed as specific “selves” that harmoniously work together to provide the finished product, that being the whole person.

In our current society, we tend to be defined (by others and ourselves) based on our abilities and the material accomplishments of our physical self. Our end goal is to obtain a higher status or become more like someone else. We are tempted to base our fulfillment and success on physical accumulations, rather than on the true peace and contentment that only comes from within ourselves. Success seems to be an elusive goal that can only be achieved through more physical gains. The problem is that we can never seem to reach that goal, can we? There is always some physical or material item that is lacking. It may be a job, or spouse, or house, or _________________ (you fill in the blank) . Regardless of what that item is, our goal of being complete and happy seems to elude us. And yet, because we are basing our definition of who we are, or more appropriately our worth, on these physical items, we are compelled to continue to strive for a goal that we will never be able to achieve.

If we choose to believe that our purpose, our essence, is merely defined by what we achieve physically then we will never be truly at peace, truly fulfilled. There’s always going to be some other “thing” we must accomplish or obtain first. Furthermore, with this definition, we will never achieve the goal of knowing ourselves because all our time and effort will be devoted to improving this one aspect, which is only one of many that combine to define who we are.

Now, I am not suggesting that we should cease from striving to be our best physically. However, that should not be our sole purpose. How many people can you think of who appear to have it all, but you can tell they are miserable inside? They are miserable largely because they have ignored the other aspects of themselves.

A second category, which also contributes to our whole person, is our mental self. This part of us is driven by knowledge. We attend educational facilities, read journals and magazines to remain current in our professions, and study our chosen spiritual paths, all in the pursuit of additional knowledge.

When someone is striving to improve their physical or mental aspects, society tends to applaud their noble efforts. When we are describing someone, or forming an opinion of them, we tend to focus on these two sides as well. Financial success, intellectual achievements, and physical appearance are often the first attributes we notice or refer to regarding ourselves and others. Can you see where most of our focus is on these two aspects of the whole person? Again, I am not suggesting that it is wrong to strive to be your best physically or mentally. Far from it. However, in order to achieve our goal, we must give equal time and attention to our other aspects.

One of our more often neglected aspects is our emotional component. I will be the first to admit that this is a very difficult, and sometimes frightening, aspect to focus on. Our society as a whole frowns on emotional baggage. We do not tend to associate emotion and success together, or do we? What we do is take emotions like ambition, drive and dedication and view them not as emotions but rather adjectives of success. However they choose to look at it, these are traits of our emotional sides. Being emotional is not limited to crying at the drop of a hat. Take an athlete, for instance. When a player makes a really big play there is a lot of emotion behind it. I think of Michael Jordan jumping up and down swinging his fist in the air after sinking the winning shot in a playoff game against Cleveland years ago. That is emotion, and nobody told him he didn’t have a right to show it.

Part of the problem stems from our errant perception that showing our emotions too much is a sign of weakness or immaturity. Our emotions are not based on logic; they are just there. Today we like things that we can explain and prove with our manuals and charts. We are very analytical, and our emotions are the antithesis of logic. We are so programmed to be mental and professional giants that as a by-product we are being programmed to ignore our emotions.

Another matter to consider is that our emotions allow us to experience fear, pain, old resentments and other not so pleasant memories. Since none of us enjoy feeling these things, there is a definite temptation to choose to ignore or suppress our emotional self. Yet without sorrow, there is no joy, without fear there is no peace, without pain there is no healing, and without confronting and acknowledging your emotional side it will be impossible to finally know who you are and why you are here.

The fourth and final “self” that must also be acknowledged is our Spiritual Self. Each religious structure teaches, in some manner, that the spirit will continue on after this life is over. Whether you believe in reincarnation, or a heaven, or some other such place, most people believe that the spirit will go on long after this body is worn out.

So if the spirit is going to continue on, why do we ignore it so? Why do we not spend more time nurturing our spiritual side and allowing it to grow?

Maybe it’s because we link spirit and religion together. Upon close examination, we will find that being religious and being spiritual are two separate, unique characteristics. To be religious one must: a) find a belief structure to hold fast to, b) observe his/her religious traditions, and c) follow the teachings of that religion. Nowhere does true spirituality enter the picture here.

In order to clear up any misconceptions, let me expound for just a moment. I am not saying that religion and spirituality cannot work together. In fact, most of the time they do to some degree. What I am saying is that they are not the same things, nor do they depend on each other for their existence. In my opinion, true spirituality: a) strives to commune with the Divine force, b) forces us to confront ourselves and the world around us, and c) gives us the drive and desire to truly know ourselves. While this is a brief comparison, hopefully it will stimulate additional thought on the differences between religion and spirituality.

Our spiritual growth should not be dependent on any set religion. Rather than closing our minds to opportunities for spiritual growth that fall outside our chosen religion, we should allow our spiritual self to lead us toward other avenues of growth. When we begin to allow our religiousness, with all its dogmas and rules, to dictate all aspects of our spiritual life, we are, in fact, depriving our spiritual self of chances for growth. Following these rules must not become more important than growing spiritually.

Many of us find the lack of religious dogma and rules to be a very important part of Paganism. This allows each of us the freedom to develop ourselves spiritually in whatever manner we choose. My only fear is that we may get so caught up in the practice of the craft (the spells, chants, rites, and tools etc.) that we miss the whole point of the craft, which I believe is to grow physically, emotionally, mentally and certainly spiritually until we are the best that we can be.

Striving for the goal of ‘knowing yourself’ is not an easy path. It will require dedication, confrontation, change and patience. As with anything else that is worth achieving, the rewards far outweigh the cost. As you learn to nurture each of your “selves” equally, you will be amazed at the sense of accomplishment, contentment, and fulfillment that await you.

According to tradition, humanity originated ‘far beyond the stars’ and is on a journey back to its Source. While in the earth phase, there are numerous opportunities to embrace ‘our real’ or ‘lasting nature’ and begin the spiritual journey back home. In this physical world, because we are in a sense estranged from our real or lasting nature, which is spiritual, there is an unease and inner hunger that pushes us forward to search and make the connection back home. While in this world, many become fooled and try to fill the inner emptiness with all manner of experiences and things; this further compounds the problem of remembering who we are.

Like E.T. in the movie, we need to contact home, through our inner spiritual awareness, so the factors might align and we can start the return journey.

Now, while in the earth phase, because of its diversity, beauty and splendor, each spiritual traveler has the opportunity to create and join in Kingship with the Creator. Daily, we create our own multiple level realities and in this world of opposite forms, we create multiple opportunities to express who we are. Inside each of us is a spark or piece of the Life Force; that is our guiding element and leads us through the many worlds back home to the Creator.

O spiritual traveler, rise-up and know who you really are; temporarily, shed the identity that has been placed about you by others and this wondrous physical form we have taken. On some levels, this multi-level form is an illusion, a contrast and story, created to help, hurt, contain and even set us free. Even though many were well intentioned, they were fooled by this riddle of physicality and spirituality; ultimately, this contrast and duality exists to help, so we may learn, experience and enjoy the wonders. Yes, we may experience and create it all, as long as we Remember; go deep within and experience who we really are- we are a child of Light. We are the son and daughter of a King.

This present life and experience is all about you, and what you wish to create. That is the wonder and the challenge; we were given free will so that we might freely choose to Remember and join in the creative process- alternating between our will and the will of the One.

Perhaps, this riddle is confusing? O spiritual traveler, set your self free and stop thinking about it all. Go deeper and learn to perceive your true lasting nature; you and the Light are one. This Oneness will set you free so you may create that which you came to here to create. Enough of riddles and words that make little sense - rise-up and embrace your Lasting Self; then this foolishness of words will no longer be necessary.

Beyond religion, beyond individual creed and spiritual form, there is a knowing that arises from the heart. The heart is our spiritual center, and is connected to the Light or Life Force; the Light is most like the Creator and, while in the physical body, is the conduit by which we travel home. Make your life a song, a celebration through which you join in Kingship, Remember, and embrace your spiritual heritage.

Come, join me as a Spiritual Traveler; a traveler who seeks the inner, spiritual core of religious experience and follows the Light through the many worlds. This way has always existed . . . it is the religion before there was religion. It is the first commandment . . . to Love God or the Light with all your heart and soul. Yes, it is as easy as that . . .

And because we are in the world of forms, we need a structure, or framework from which to begin; here then, for the Spiritual Traveler, is a set of guidelines that have served me well. These guidelines are not of my creation, but part of the wondrous Path that has always existed; like a scribe I write them down so you might learn, experience and benefit.

And if you think I am a madman, and have lost my way, leave this writing and find your own experience or way to embrace your true lasting self. One way is not better than others. Each is a child of the universe; and each must ultimately find their own way- that is both unique and the same. For we all are travelers. May your journey and efforts be glorious.

•Love God. This is the first commandment and contains the entire journey, which is: To Love God (or the Light) with all your heart and soul. Some need no other instruction; traditionally, these travelers have been called, the lovers. The lovers seek to make their lives an extension of the Divine and do everything for their Beloved.

•Citizen of the Universe. Learn to share this planet and universe with all the many life forms; we are all expressions of the One. To hurt another is to hurt self; we all are connected in spirit; we share the same Life Force, which is our self. When we turn toward the Light, the Light will guide and protect.

•Align With the Highest. In each action and thought, seek to take the high road and make every moment an expression of the Divine. Listen to your heart and make your decisions based upon that, which will serve your higher nature and the emerging higher destiny of the universe.

•Love Another. The nature of God or the Light is pure Love; when we love another and seek to help and share with that person, we are fulfilling our higher destiny. Many of the ills of the world come about, because travelers are fearful and seek to fulfill their own need at the expense of others. Mature travelers know the difference between helping and hurting; their hearts will not let them intentionally cause harm.

•Live Fully. Each traveler is a multi-level being with an assortment of feelings, thoughts, desires, and dreams. Live fully, and embrace the many parts of self. Also, do not forget to go deeper and thank the One who gave these things to you.

•Seek Excellence. In every action and thought seek to do your best. Each traveler has the potential to reach toward excellence; each has a unique skill set and must learn to maximize their potential by expressing individual talents and ability. A complete life merges individual and higher need.

•Be Yourself. In knowing who you are, you will know the many parts of self and merge with the Higher. Do not let others keep you from finding out and expressing who you are; that is your gift to yourself and the universe.

•Help Others. In helping others, we help our self and serve the Highest. Though we may forget, we are all one, and have a social duty to help others of our family. No one is suggesting, that we are not to care for self or protect self, however, every one is connected and on the higher level, when my neighbor is hungry or sick, I am experiencing this as well. In everything, we must use our common sense, and experience tells me, if one is being exploited or harmed, one day this ill will present itself at my door.

•Do Good Deeds. Inwardly, the healthy person knows, the right thing; we are born with this inner awareness. It is only our fear that blocks us; learn to go beyond fear and listen to your heart. Then the promise of a better world will be achieved one person at a time.

•Practice Gratitude. Thank the universe, thank yourself, and thank the Creator for all you have been Given. This activity will make you joyous, and its energy will fill you with good health.

•Pray. Each morning and evening, and throughout the day: communicate and speak with God. Have an ongoing conversation with your higher self and the One who provided this opportunity to go through the many worlds. One of my teachers used to say, “if you are going to be angry or sad, be angry and sad with God. Similarly, if you are going to be happy, be happy with God. When we are most distant from God that is when we need God the most.”

•Travel Beyond Teachings. All we know about any great servant and their specific teachings is what others have recorded, wanting us to know about their teachings. This is both good and bad. That is why each traveler is urged to have their own experience and travel beyond teachings. Knowledge is different than teachings.

The purpose of religion is to provide a foundation and framework upon which to lead a better life. This was how was one of my teachers characterized the purpose of all religion. It was a framework and foundation upon which to build. It was not intended to be an end in itself.
