As if straight out of the Alice in Wonderland storybook comes a milk tea place named after the character who obsessed about his tea -- The Mad Hatter. The stacks of books, mushrooms, wall murals and ceiling clocks looked all too pleasantly familiar. It was like being a kid again! Mad Hatter has a nice selection of iced milk teas that can quench a daily tea craving.

360 Hand Shaken Tea opened its first branch in Yahu! Plaza located in Davao City's Chinatown. I found out about it through a friend, whose friend at work bought him a cup of their milk tea. I was pretty content with whipping up my own milk tea at home with my stash of Old Town and Gold Kili, but nothing beats a fresh cup of milk tea.

I think Drew and I have been so busy drinking milk tea we both have not been able to blog! I have quite a number of posts though which I should be able to work on while I'm billeted in Singapore.

Since I'm in a milk tea country I thought I'd try out the different milk tea stations in my vicinity. My pick this week was Gong Cha which I found nicely situated where I get off the bus on Somerset

In a recent trip to Hong Kong, my brother's family and I visited Ocean Park a day after a hectic New Year's celebration. The park was a far cry from what I recall during my last visit a decade ago. I was pleasantly surprised by how it's become this sprawling, full-fledged theme park. We arrived at noontime, and boy were we famished. A restaurant, the Panda Cafe, was a stone's throw away

I managed to sample Max Tea Tarikk because of my friend Brian who recently visited Singapore. He gave me two brands to try out and Max Tea Tarikk was one of them. As I've been accustomed to, I added a teaspoon of condensed milk which I shouldn't have done since Max Tea Tarikk was sweet enough. This one tasted a bit like Super Milk Tea since it had a citrus after-taste.

Owl Teh Tarik (hand-pulled milk tea) is probably one of the best instant milk tea brands I've sampled. It's the closest rendition of hand-pulled milk tea in powder form. I couldn't help but ooh and aah when I first tasted it and had to stop myself from finishing the pack I bought from Singapore in a week. It because too sweet though when I added condensed milk, but was perfect when I added fresh

I just tried Super's instant milk tea just now. Tasted like milk tea from hawker centers but with a citrus twist aftertaste. I think I should have added some condensed milk when I had a glass. It's not so bad though, I think I'll have another try soon.

I was pleasantly surprised when we were served peppermint and lemon grass tea at Caffe Ti-Amo during their store blessing today. The store manager brought us this cool looking device and explained that they would steep fresh tea leaves in it. You just need to place hot water, the tea leaves and wait 15 minutes. When it's ready just put it on the cup and it will automatically transfer the tea

Aside from the aquarium area we were pleasantly surprised that the mall side was almost filled up with stores and restaurants. One great addition was Makansutra, a resto that offers a variety of Asian cuisine.

Finally got a chance to go to Starbucks after attending an event. We were forced to leave early because the venue was filling up
