<p><strong>
<h3>Vegas Tea Business Secret #1</h3></strong>This tip is my take on the talk done with marketing great,  Jay Conrad Levinson of Guerrilla Marketing. He says commitment, investment and consistency are KEY to making your marketing strategies work.
<p />
<p><strong>Commit to long term not instant results.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Invest in yourself </strong></p>
<p><strong>Consistency takes long term trust.  You must trust your market and continually treat them with amazing customer service and follow through.</strong> <a href="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef0128756271a7970c-pi" style="FLOAT: right"><img alt="Bigseminar4" border="0" class="asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d8341c097f53ef0128756271a7970c " src="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef0128756271a7970c-800wi" style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 5px 5px" title="Bigseminar4" /></a> </p><br />
<p>How can this help your tea business?  </p>
<p>The number one problem I see in tea shops around the country are impatient owners who did not invest in their own education (to understand their product and their business strategy) and owners who are inconsistent in their tea, their customer service, their hours and their image.</p>
<p style="TEXT-ALIGN: left">Is this you?  If so, it's not too late to change. <a href="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef01287562711f970c-pi" style="FLOAT: right" /></p>
<p>Just dreaming of a tea business?  <strong>Start on the right foot.  Don't let 2009 pass you by without investing in your dream and discovering how to be committed and consistent in your tea company.</strong></p>
<p>Tune in tomorrow for another tea business secret!</p>

A great presentation sets you apart as an expert in your field .<strong>  Here are a few simple tips to keep you in tip top form:</strong></p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">1. Research Your Audience</span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>(even do phone interviews with people who are planning to be in the audience.)</p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">2. Practice</span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>Use the bits, chunks and series method.  Practice small bits, then larger chunks and finally the entire series of the presentation. Practice 50 times while you are doing something else out load. Especially rehearse the intro and close.  </p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">3.Have Strong Opinions and Use Emotional Language</span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>Share a story such as childhood memory or an emotion that you have experienced in your life. Emotions evoke trust and will help you connect with your audience.</p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">4. Reveal Yourself</span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>Tell them a little bit about who you are, what your hobbies are, your family.  When you are a real person people connect to you. Find something "inside" that they can connect with.</p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">5. Use Props</span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>Anything that you touch on stage can be a prop.  Choose a hat, a tea pot, a costume or even keys.  Desperate for help? Hide your speech notes within a strategically chosen prop.</p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">6. Use Humor </span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>Humor makes your information more memorable.  Use a point, a humorous illustration then repeat the point.  Your audience will beg for more!</p><p /><p><strong /></p><strong><h3><span style="color: #7f003f; ">7. Move Them To Action</span></h3></strong><p /><p /><p>Challenge your audience to do something. And give them calls to action.  Should they incorporate tea into their health regime?  Should they take more time for themselves?  Should they treat someone they love to a tea date?  Move your listeners by encouraging them to “Seize the Day!”</p><p /><p /><p /></div>

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p />
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">
<p class="asset asset-image"><a href="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef0120a5f595f9970c-pi" style="FLOAT: right"><img alt="Teamug" class="at-xid-6a00d8341c097f53ef0120a5f595f9970c " src="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef0120a5f595f9970c-320wi" style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 5px 5px" /></a> </p>There are two seasons in “dreaming” that are difficult. The first is the action. Taking action, actually doing something about your dream is the number one thing that keeps people from moving forward in life. Sure, <strong>we have a tea dream but do we believe in ourselves enough to make it happen? </strong>
<p />
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Are we taking simple forward movements like: <em><strong>taking a tea business class, becoming a home tea consultant, enrolling in a catering or restaurant management class, learning to cup tea or hiring a trainer to help us get started?</strong></em></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">I can already hear your response, “Well, that takes money...” No doubt it does, but then doesn't everything that is worth something have a cost? Somehow we find time and money for our cars, our jewelry, our clothes, our fattening groceries yet <strong>we don't invest in our dreams? WHY?</strong></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><strong>Your tea dream could change your life.</strong> It could take you from where you are now to where you want to be. Of course, in order for anything to change your life<strong> you have got to take action.</strong></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">
<p class="asset asset-image"><a href="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef0120a59edfb6970b-pi" style="FLOAT: left"><img alt="2009" class="at-xid-6a00d8341c097f53ef0120a59edfb6970b " src="http://tearadio.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c097f53ef0120a59edfb6970b-320wi" style="MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px" title="2009" /></a> </p>So stop right here and if you do not have a tea business... ask yourself.... “<strong>What action can I take to move forward with my tea dream?” Got it? Now, GO DO IT.</strong> It's not enough to think about it. You HAVE to leap of the cliff, you just have to. No looking back just take a flying leap into the great unknown and find your future waiting for you.
<p />
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">What if you fail? </p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Henry Ford said it best, <strong>“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” </strong></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">What if you waste money?</p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Are you telling me you have never wasted money on a latte, a pair of too tight shoes or Tupperware that you didn't need? If you are investing in yourself it will never be a waste. You are worth it.</p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>The second season in a dream if holding on when things get rough. </strong></span>Getting started can be tough, but hanging in there when your dream suddenly looks impossible, improbable or an utter failure is tougher yet.</p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in">Just as love has seasons, so do dreams. Dreams take commitment. <strong>My dream is to change the world one tea business at a time </strong><span style="font-weight: normal">and there are days where I feel like giving up</span><strong>. Dreams have UP SEASONS and DOWN SEASONS. </strong><span style="font-weight: normal">Summer and Winter. Yet, without winter how would we prepare for new growth that is sure to come?</span></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><span style="font-weight: normal">My point? If your dream is in winter don't give up. </span><span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: normal">Stand firm with your dream.</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal"> See it before you. </span><strong>Trust that HE who gave you the dream is able to complete it for you. </strong><span style="font-weight: normal">No, it's not easy but it's worth it. Being true to the desire of your heart will always bring long term blessing. </span></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><span style="font-weight: normal">Focus on what IS working. Focus on what IS exciting. Remember what your passion TRULY is and not just what it USED to be.</span></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><br /></p>
<p style="MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0in"><span style="font-weight: normal"><strong>Dream on... dream long... dream BIG. You can do it. Your dream is worth it.</strong></span></p></p></p></div>
