Gul is hosting an event at The Bustard Inn near Shrewton on Sat/Sun 20th/21st August from 2-6pm. Hi Everyone, On the 19th June there was a hive of activity at Riverside, with lots of familiar faces as well as some new ones who came for activities in the early afternoon, along with a film crew from the BBC! All those in Shrewton should already know about this through the leaflet that will have come through their door, but for those who haven't heard the awesome news-Gul is having an Open Day on Saturday 7th May. Hi everybody! On the 10th May, Gul is hosting the Horses in Education and Therapy International (HETI) Spring Meeting. This is going to be held at the Bustard Inn, Rollestone (Gul's latest acquisition) and will run from 10am-4pm, and include talks, demonstrations, discussions, a chance to get out and about, and a choice of activities in the afternoon, as well as lunch and some wonderful cake!

Everyone who has been involved in our Easter activities has been enjoying wonderful weather at Riverside. The ponies are losing the rest of their winter coats - Billy has turned back to his summer palomino colour and Goblin is showing his darker summer coat. Hi everybody! Yesterday evening saw the first Community Choir held at the Bustard-we had a select group, but the quality of singing was really good, and everyone had a lot of fun! The songs all had a Salisbury Plain Theme to them, and ranged from rugby songs to jazz and a song by Tom Lehrer. Between Christmas and New Year (up until the 2nd January) there will be no activities at Gul. Equine Assisted Therapy Course

Hi everybody! Yesterday saw the first course held within our new site, The Bustard, which was incredibly exciting!! This was the Basic Mental Health module and was a great success. The group enjoyed it so much that it went on for over an hour longer than planned! Lots of exciting things happening over the coming few weeks in the run up to Christmas, not least our Open Day and Christmas Carol

Fencing Finished

The new School Arena has been finished with the final touches to it's fencing at Riverside. While we still need to raise the money for a riding surface, we can now use the arena this winter (when the snow clears!), saving the paddocks from poaching. Particular thanks must go to all the volunteers for their time and effort and to Mr. Gallagher for helping Gul to get the best price for the wood. -
