I've been an internet marketer going on 12 years now. And it has been a blessing and a curse. Lots of long hours, staying up days, hoping my affords pan out and I can take care of my family one day. Since that time the internet has changed so must, there is something new every 3 to 4 months that will make you have to change your whole game plan or a new Google policy that will have you redesigning your whole site.

I though about giving up more than 10 times to go into the real world and find a job. I said to myself, at least that would be consisted money coming into our home that could pay a bill. My wife has been the real trooper through it all. She has stood by me in every lame brain campaign, every new program I purchased from the GURU of the month that's promising a million dollars in a week and every penny I spent on advertising the hundreds of affiliate links for products from around the globe.

One of these affiliate site I started with a while back was Google. They had a service called Adsense, which at the time was extremely complicated to setup and you had to know how to research your keywords and other programming I could not grasp. I made a little money, not must, maybe a few hundred dollars and I did it by mistake. I guested up on a few keywords and dropped them in and boom, I made a money. But than I got greedy and started to embed too many ads in my pages and than I got clapped from Google. They froze my account and I just let go in started something else.

Now to present day... I was going through some drawers and found a tablet with several gmail logins, so I checked them out to see if they were still open. To my surprise most were, but the main one I did most of my business with was still active, I never closed it. So I checked out this account and found I had a balance of $15.47 left in the account. Enough for coffee...

I started looking through the new Google interface and it was like night and day compared to years back. So I decided to setup my present site and it took me less that an hour. Than I went on Youtube to do some research and notice how some people here making real money by blogging. I must say, I got a new respect from something I through was for women only (sorry ladies), but I did. So I started my own and set every thing up in Adsense. In less then 4 weeks, I'm seeing result, not million, not ever thousand, but real money. All I have to do is continue to blog and promo myself and I should be ok. I have a new respect for Google and for bloggers everywhere. So Blog On!

What Is Your Mission In Life?

I had a moment of clarity today as I read the local newspaper about the amount of deaths in my city of Chicago. It made me cringe as I read how many have die this year. It was over 400. I have been told that my city has a higher death toll than our U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan They are even calling us “Little Chi-raq”, their version of Iraq. I have never been more driven to succeed with this wonderful system I simply call my home business blog than I am right now.

I don’t know how spiritual most people are here but when the creator presents you with an opportunity that can make way for more opportunity for others, you have to do your best and take advantage of the moment. My unique home business blog is the vehicle I am using to help empower the community I live in and hopefully as many communities across this nation and the world.

I know this will be challenging because empowering people does not mean they will see your vision and it does not guaranteed your mission will be successful. That is why you must really select your team wisely. Not to say everyone you meet are not qualify for this unique opportunity. I mean before you set out to change a piece of the world, the team you uses for this mission must be of like minds. They must know your plan and how the whole team is going to achieve it.

Most of the killing in my fair city of Chicago is from a lack of money, homelessness and just pure neglect. The youth have little or no opportunity to go pass the walls of their community. With most awaking each day with little hope at all of a future.

So my mission is fueled by pure desire to effect change by branding hope again in the hearts of teenagers, young adults and families. So I must plan and plan well to empower my team of people with this fantastic system I simply call my home business blog. Pray for me…

When The People Around You Don't Believe In Your Empower Network

I remember when I started in internet marketing 6 years ago, it made me feel like I was on top the world. To be able to write my own check and that check would be based on whatever I wanted to make. I knew than I was hooked. My family and friends would always joke about me "playing around" on the computer with those "get rich quick" scams. It would never be "how's things going with your business" or something possible or encouraging. I guest most of us who wanted better out of life and used the internet to obtain it, got the same flack.

But there are a few family members who have always looked at me as the smart, brainy kid who would definitely succeed. My oldest sister was one of them. She herself was called the smart one early on in life and was a computer science major in college. But she missed her dreams due to partying too much and later starting a family. I myself have always wanted to own my own business. I did my first business proposal at the age of 16, I guest having a father who was a business owner kind of rubbed off.

I got married at 21 after leaving the family business and decided to gave up my dream of owning my own. It was after leaving a publishing position is when I got into internet marketing. My family and friends were test subjects for my first business and trying to convince them of how great the product was and its benefits was like pulling tooth from a horse. I got shot down on everything I said about the product and was even walked out on during the presentations (and this was my own family).

I have since let go of convincing the people dearest to me about my business, even the Empower Network. I just go forward with my eyes on the big prize, bringing the opportunity to people who really want it. I stay focus by doing something productive for my business everyday. And listening to positive, motivational people who encourage me as my business grow. So the only thing you need to do to convince anyone about your Empower Network business... Is to just work hard in the beginning and become success-FULL.

Posting The Right Time, For More Facetime, On Facebook

What is the right time to promote on Facebook...

That has always been the main question for most internet marketers. When, if any, is the best time to promote on Facebook. I, myself have ask the same question. A great deal of my marketing on the internet is done on Facebook, through fan pages and groups. I would just randomly pick a time in the day to promote, never really caring about what time it was. I would sometime promote as late as 1 or 2 a.m. in the morning, just because it seem like Facebook ran faster with less members on it at that time. I guest most of us have done the same to promote our businesses, not knowing we were spinning our wheel at it.

But I found this out by reading an article by blogger Ryan Pinkham on "What is the best time to promote on Facebook and Twitter." This article gave you the best days of the week to promote as well as the best times to get the most effectiveness out of your marketing campaign. I also found out that there is a legitimate formula to marketing on Facebook and Twitter that if done right, would definitely increase your membership and hopefully increase your overall profits. I'm excited because... :) I wake up every morning since I joined the Empower Network filled with uncontrollable energy, brought on by the possibilities this system will bring to me, my family and others. I've even started creating a partial to-do-list of things I want to do when the big money rolls in. Have you ever ran across a person who inspired a little extra out of you. You see them reaching for their goal and it makes you want to achieve more.

Well that is Tracey Walker to me...

She is a young African American woman who is energetic, smart, beautiful and outgoing. All the things I love in a woman (taking nothing from you wifey), but that can uplift you to want to do better and be better.

My first encountered with Ms. Tracey Walker was through an email she sent me about the Empower Network. After I looked it over, I bookmark it so I could come back to it later. Than I started watching some of her videos on Youtube.com about the system and her fantastic outings with the company. This had me ready to go. Than a few weeks later my computer crashed and I lost everything.

I was devastated...

I later got my computer back up and started from scratch. A while later I got another email from the Empower Network and since I knew what it was all about, I signed up. But much to my surprise I found out the email was not from Tracey Walker, it was from someone else. I did not mind, because the guy I signed up under is great and he is helping me along.

But I missed my opportunity to be with Tracey... :)

I have only been in the Empower Network for about 14 days now and I am seeing a little progress, but I know it is coming. And she and others will continue to keep me pushing to excel, setting the bar in which to reach.

To Rise In A New Direction Through Empowerment

Good Morning World ...

I woke this morning with new energy and ideas on the possibilities of using a new platform called the Empower Network. First off, everything I have been doing manually to setup blogs is done. This is something I can put my children in front of and they too can make money around what they like to do!

I'm sorry... Let me introduce myself.

My name is John F. Kennedy (yes, really), from Chicago, Illinois and I'm a digital media designer of 20+ years. I've also been a internet marketer for the past 6 years and I love it. I use to work at one of Chicago's oldest community news papers (about 108 years old at the time) in Hyde Park as their production manager for several years. I enjoyed it very much because they gave me the freedom to express myself there. I had the opportunity to create the newspapers first ever website, the redesign of the newspapers and headed the creation of a completely new publication for the company. I later left there after a pull with the general manager on if I could be compensated for doing production on two weekly newspapers (it was not good). But that situation inspired me to step out and start my own creative firm and I've been creating every since.

How I got into internet marketing was through an email I opened from one of my clients. It was for a company selling health products and it interested me on how I could make extra money from home. My company was making money, but this extra stream of income could definitely help out. So I started researching online about the company and create my own marketing material because their sucked. Then I set out passing flyers around to family and friends, which later resulted into 3 sells. You would have through I'd won the lottery the way it made me feel. I continued on pushing harder, putting in long hours, taking away time I should have spent in my other business. I started to lose clients because in the back of my mind this internet marketing "thing" was going to save me. But I was wrong...

I later want on to other opportunities, bouncing around the internet for several years. Learning on the way how to become a good internet marketer and how to make good money online. I can now say this; internet marketing is something I would not give up for the world because it gives me the freedom to make as much money as I want (when it comes), whenever I want. And being a part of the Empower Network I feel like I'm on the right path to a very profitable future for me and my family.

I've spent lots of money as a internet marketers, I mean a lot. This pass year 2011, I spent well over $2,000, I know that not a lot for some, but ever penny counts these days. It Takes Guts To Get The Job Done

I remember the first time my father let me repair a huge truck tire. It was the most terrifying feeling I had even felt, because the tire was almost as tall as I was, plus it was heavy as hell. This was a 10/20 tire (one of the biggest) with a lot of feet-per-pound pressure, and if you make one mistake with any part of the repair procedure, it could take your life.

After he explain how to repair the tire to me my anxiety went through the roof. He told me what to do and what tools to uses to make the job as safe and as easy as possible, but that didn't stop the fear that was building inside of me. It was only after applying the techniques and step-by-step instructions he gave to get the job done, was I relieved and build-up the confidences to do it.

Compared to the larger autoresponders, this new guy looks pretty good. There are some features I wish it had like audo & video, but that just me. But if you know a little HTML you can embed AV into your landing pages yourself.

Taking "The Leap Of Faith" When Starting A Online Business

I am not one to wait for "the perfect time" or "the opportunity to arrive". That is why I have lost my shirt in more than a few ventures. But it is also why I have had some great success in others. I think when it come to bettering yourself, you have to grab the moment. Instead of waiting until the car is paid off or the kids to graduate, you should go after what you want, now. You must take the leap of faith, because time is "money" you are losing, especially within this economy.

If you monitor yourself on how much wasteful spending you do, most of the time you will find that you have more than enough to start a internet business.

For example:

Say you spending about $45 a week eating out with your family.
That is $180 a month!

You could invested this amount into a business that could pay you $1000 or more per month.
That is $820 profit!

There are a lot of internet business affiliates that will let you in for FREE, than after their trial period, you would pay a small monthly fee to continue with their program.

All you have to do is save enough to cover your monthly fee and some for advertising.

The reason most people who jump into online businesses are not successful, is because their priorities are not in order. It take "disciple" in budgeting your money if you want to be successful.

Now here is a scenario for using the same $180 for a business.

Find a business affiliate with a good reputation and a good product. With a modest monthly fee around $50. Make sure they have marketing materials like banners, email samples or splash pages, so you can start selling immediately. Now after you have studied the material and know what your selling. Find your affiliate link to promote the product (usually found in your new back office area).

Next is advertising. And out of the $180 you will have $130 to invest.

I would suggest to anyone starting out to advertise through Google Adwords (Pay-Per-Click). And why... Because it would give you the most targeted traffic to your products. Plus most visitors that click on your ad are ready to buy. But be careful because its the most expensive (I have seen it as high as $1.50 per click and up).

The main part of Adwords advertising is your "keywords". If your product is "wellness" related, you want to find "keywords" in that category. But remember again, it can get a bit pricey if you are going for a single keyword like "energy". Words like that will cost you BIG. And some are owned by advertisers. It would be best to try using 2 or more words to create "keyword phrases" (more about this in upcoming blogs) in your campaigns.

So first, go to Google Search in type in "Adwords" or "Google PPC Advertising" and read up on it. Once you get a good idea of how to advertise there, I would suggest you start off with a small campaign budget, around $5 per day. This would be enough to see how well your "keyword phrase" is doing by bringing traffic to your site. And you should be on your way to a successful business.

Now see what is possible with a little budgeting. It is all in how you spend your money. So the next time a great opportunity comes your way, do not push it away. Just pull out your notepad and your bank book and start writing down all your purchases from the last 2 weeks and I can almost guarantee you will find enough money to start your new Internet venture. Now take the leap... you might not regret it.

This is what I ask myself when I'm questioned about the validity of online entrepreneurship. The #1 frequently asked question is "Isn't most online programs scams". But when it's asked, all I can do is smile. I don't think they're trying to bad-mouth what we do as internet marketers, I think it's partially because they have no knowledge of the internet and this is their way of defending themselves or the residue of a bad seed (internet scam) they may have heard about from someone else.

But I must confess, I'm a little sensitive about this subject, because most who question what we do don't see the long hours spent building friendships and partnerships online. The hours spent preparing material, designing websites and setting up the different marketing tools to make it all work. This is not easy people... But we do it for the joy of helping others live a better life (I think most of us do).

As internet marketers and home business owners, we just want to make a decent living, plain & simple. To provide for our families and give them a better life. And hopefully by presenting our opportunities on the internet, would give others the same.

So why am I a internet marketer... because I love helping people, help themselves. To empower people to create their own way of life and take it out of the hands of others. Every new person I meet online is like meeting a new brother or sister. I just want to tell them and teach them everything I know, so they can be successful.

As an internet marketer, most of my time is spent trying to generate traffic to splash pages and websites to make sales. I think I've tried almost everything on the internet to draw traffic. But for most new comer marketers starting out, this can be expensive. So the first thing I suggest are traffic exchanges. Because It's the cheapest way to promote your website and almost guarantee it's visibility. Most traffic exchange systems are free to start and surf (promote). And most have premium services to reach a larger audience.

Unlike other promotional vehicles for drawing traffic (solo ads or per-per-click), most traffic exchanges require manual labor (about 2 hours per day) to get good traffic flowing to your site. Most are setup the same way and can be loaded with up to 5 web addresses (some are unlimited). There are some systems that run automatic, (but who's looking at the ads).

If you don't have the money to promote you website, but have lots of time on your hands, than traffic exchanges are for you. They work on a I-see-your-site, you-see-mine situation, which work out pretty good if the other person likes what they see.

I myself have joined numerous affiliates (home business), browsing traffic exchanges, so they work. If you train yourself to a time schedule for surfing everyday for two hours, you'll see a big different in the amount of traffic as well as sales that come your way.

A lot of guru marketers my thumb their nose at others who use them. That's because they have the money to buy high-end services. But until you get to that level, use traffic exchange. They will save you a lot of money, but will use a little of your time.

On Friday, May 22, 2009 at about 5:30 p.m. I looked into the eyes of the most precious gift God could have given me. My 18 year old daughter. She was all dress up for prom, looking just like her mother. Her smile lit the room as she walk from end to end taking photos with her friends, her brothers and sisters from my present marriage and other family members. But this day was not like any other day seeing her. One thing kept popping into my head and that was her birth. My daughter was not suppose to be here. Based on what the doctors told us. You see, her mother was a high risk patience (because of other miscarriages) and they did not expect her to go the full length of her pregnancy. The doctors scratched their heads every time we walk into the office for her weekly check-up. It was amazing seeing her grow every week, getting stronger and stronger as the pregnancy went on. She was a fighter. Now looking at my miracle child (young lady) standing there, so perfect, really put my life into perspective.

We are here, but only for a very short time. And we must make the most of it. A lot of her childhood without me was lose between the separation and us moving around. I lose out on a lot of her growing up. Time I can't get back.

But as she walked to the limo, holding hands with her date for the evening. I reach in and whispered to her "this is the start of a new beginning. Time to create new memories and experiences. Time for us to live life".

This experience has giving me a whole new outlook on my life. And what I do from this day forward. How I spend my time networking and building my business, to how must time I spend with my family doing what we love. It was like yesterday, I was headed this wonderful bundle of joy. Now she's all grown up and my heart is breaking, because I wish I could have been there for her first outing, her first date or just for advice. I guest this is just part of being a father.

All I know is, grabbing every opportunity to better yourself financially, should be equally balanced with family time. I would give a millionaire dollars to get each moment back. To give her the time and resource to make her life the best it could be. So we would never miss another moment. Her mother called me for this send off and I thanked her because it was wealth more than all the gold in the world to me.

This is the first thing I suggest to everyone who says to me "I want to be successful or rich, or wealth or whatever", because its essential to making yourself successful. People who are rich and successful just don't wake up one morning and "puff" their rich. It's a process to "creating" wealth and success. And the first thing is to see yourself in that place. Driving the car of your dreams, living in your custom home with the "80 inch flat screen television" you are going to build.

I know at this time, "thinking" and "feeling" successful can be hard during this recession. But it is also the best time to dream and work to make them come true. Because there has never been a better time to help people than right now. Giving others an opportunity to create wealth also give you the same opportunity. Everything I will bring to my readers will have this concept as its foundation. Because everything we've create on this planet has come from a through first and than into reality. So in your process of "visualization", start to think of people who may want the same opportunities you want and write them down. These same people will be part of your "building block" system for your success.

I read an article stating that this small town is looking for a push in small business to help put their people back to work. That tells me how much power there is in small business and how much room there is in creating wealth. New Launching Pad To A Better Life

Hello All,

I know this blog has been dormant for some time. Mainly due to my lack of interest in written. It's not that I can't write, it's just because I like to talk to people direct, (I got this from my father). He was in business for 36 years in our family owned trucking company. I think he talked his way through every contract he ever received. I never seen him write anything down. He just loved people. I'm a lot like him, when I meet someone I just like to talk and get to know you.

The more I look at the news and continue to see the job lose in America, the more I'm fired up to get the word out on how to make money online.
