Flipping Out - New Season Starts Aug. 17 on Bravo

I just found out Flipping Out will premiere its new season August 17 on Bravo. I can't wait. This has to be my all time favorite Reality show. I think I love it so much because it has to do with flipping houses and buying and selling real estate and I love anything to do with real estate.

Leave it to Big Brother to come up with a Wedgie and Super Wedgie competition.

If you missed the Super Wedgie action or if you're not familiar with the definition of a "Wedgie" let me educate you on this rare art form.

A wedgie is the state of having one's underwear or other garments wedged between the buttocks. While a wedgie can happen naturally, through underwear riding up due to tight garments or physical activity, wedgies are probably best known as a prank or as a form of bullying, where the underwear is forcibly pulled up by a second person. The act of receiving a wedgie is often referred to as "getting a wedgie."

Real Housewives of New Jersey

OMG! I've only watched 1 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and now I'm hooked. I've taped all the reruns Bravo has aired recently, but I've missed so much. Now I want to see if the other "Housewives" series are just as good.

I really want to see The Real Housewives of Orange County since I live in S. California. I want to see where they live and where they go in O.C. I hope Bravo airs them again, maybe this summer when there's nothing else on.

I think I might start watching the Atlanta series too, it's supposed to begin again July 30 I think. That one looks good too.

TV News & Reviews Page Rank up to 3 - Yippee!

This blog, TV News and Reviews has finally gone up in page rank, to 3. This actually happened a little while ago, but I forgot to write a post about it. I am super excited that my blogs are doing so well. I have 2 blogs with a PR of 3, 1 blog PR 2, and a 4th blog that has no page rank. I am working on getting the last blog up again, it used to have a PR of 3.

In case you haven't heard, I am donating all my blog earnings to charity so if you would like to donate, or just place an advertisement, 100% of the money will go to charity.

I am currently raising money for FeedingAmerica.org. Once I earn $100 I will select another charity to donate my earnings. I will continue on like this, changing charities for every $100 earned. That way I can spread the love around to several charities, and not have to decide on just one.

Oh my gosh. I can't believe Michael Jackson is dead.

I used to love him back in the 80's. I wasn't really fond of his latest work, but he was a great performer throughout most of his career.

And even though he was considered a "freak" for some of the things he did, I think he still deserved respect for being such an influential part of music history. He was definitely the King of Pop, and a music icon that will be missed.

I hope his friends and family are doing okay, my thoughts and prayers are with them.

Farrah Fawcett has died at the age 62

Farrah Fawcett has lost her battle with cancer at the age of 62.

Whenever I think of Farrah Fawcett I will remember her for her role in one of my favorite movies, Logan's Run. And although she didn't have a large part in the film, she still portrayed herself as the popular sex symbol she was in the 70's.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all her friends and family.

Today I decided to donate all of my earnings from my blogs to charity. I have been pondering this decision for some time, and I finally decided to just do it. I don't need the money I earn from my blogs, plus it's not that much any way, so why not give it to some one who needs it more.

The last few months I've been writing, dropping cards on EC, and trying to promote my blog to make more money, instead of just blogging for the fun of it. The blogging became a chore, and I didn't want to do it anymore. Plus my wrists are hurting from being on the computer all day, and trying to drop as many cards as I could.

It's going to be difficult for me to keep track of exactly how much I earn for charity, but I found a few apps that I will try out. I haven't decided for sure which charities I want to raise money for, but I have it narrowed down to 3 or 4. I might just rotate them around so that each of them gets part of the earnings.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please post them here. All feedback is welcomed. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in the past, and who will support me, and my charities, in the future.

Majide!!! - I Survived a Japanese Game Show 2

Tonight was the 2nd season premiere of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show." This show is hilarious. The American contestants participate in a real Japanese game show (in Japan of course), and are set up into 2 teams that compete against each other for cool rewards, or cruel punishments.

This week the winning team, the Green Tigers, got to spend the day in a helicopter ride near Mount Fuji, and then got to eat dinner while watching the sun set over the huge volcano. That was awesome.

The losing team, the Red Robots, had to clean part of a Japanese subway station. Then they had to pick 2 players to battle it out to see which one of them goes home, back to the United States.

This week Kimberly lost the battle and was sent home - Sayonara!

June 12 TV Signal finally goes Digital

Tomorrow, June 12, is the day all TV signals switch from analog to digital. That means if you don't have cable or satellite and you use a TV antenna to get free TV, you may need a converter box to get a signal. If your TV is fairly new it may be equipped to convert the signal, otherwise you'll need a converter box to continue watching free TV.

Even if you already have the box, you'll have to reprogram your box (re-scan) because as the stations switch to digital, there will be more channels available, and the only way to see them will be to re-scan.

Finally According to Jim is Canceled

As much as I am disappointed that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been canceled, I am extremely happy that According to Jim has also been canceled.

That show has been on the air way too long. Thank you ABC, for finally realizing what all of us knew all along. According to Jim does not deserve to be on TV, on the same network as such quality shows as Grey's Anatomy and Lost.

I am thoroughly pissed off at Fox for canceling Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I can't believe they would cancel it after 2 seasons, and such a great cliffhanger season 2 finale. Now we'll never know what happens to John in the future, or Sarah, who remained in the present.

I've written a letter (email) to Fox expressing my disappointment, and I would advise every fan out there to do the same. Maybe we can get the show back on the air, or at least show our concern so that some other network will pick it up.

"I just want to express my disappointment in Fox for canceling an excellent show like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I have been watching the Fox network for many years now, even back when it wasn't considered a "real network" with shows like The Simpsons and Married with Children.

My all time favorite show, The X-Files, aired for 9 great seasons on the Fox network, and was allowed to grow and thrive even in the dreaded Friday night time slot. I always thought Fox was the only network where really good science fiction shows, like the X-Files and Terminator, would be given a chance to prove themselves. Unlike on CBS, NBC, and ABC, these shows would probably get canceled after just a few episodes.

Why invest 2 solid seasons on a terrific show, only to cancel it right when Terminator Salvation hits movie theaters. The success of The Terminator movie would only have helped the TV series, if it had been allowed to continue.

Please reconsider your decision, and bring Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles back to the Fox line up. Give all the loyal fans a chance to revive the show, and make it into another X-Files success story. I'm sure there was talk at the Fox network to cancel The X-Files too. Aren't you glad you didn't? That show ended up being a huge success for 9 seasons. Why not give Terminator the same chance? It truly is the best science fiction show on television. Even though Heroes on NBC seems to be winning the popularity contests, it's no match for the depth and complexity of Terminator. I'd chose Terminator over Heroes any day, and so would a lot of other science fiction fans.

My only hope now is that some other network will see the true quality of Terminator, and pick it up for the fall season. I'm sure they will be glad they did, because this show has the story potential to go on for many more seasons. "

Survivor - And the Winner Is...

The Survivor Finale was last night, and it was great. I was a little bummed that Taj didn't make it to the final 3, and she looked really pissed off that she didn't make it too. But I was really glad that J.T. took Steven and NOT Erin, and that J.T. won the million dollars.

It was a good season of Survivor, even with the annoying comments and stories from Coach. And I am sorry to see it end, but I look forward to the next season, which will take place in Samoa.

Last night's 3 hour finale of The Biggest Loser was way too long for my taste, but I was glad to see the last 20 minutes or so, when they announced the winner, Helen. Doesn't she look great?

It was good to see how everyone lost so much weight even if they didn't make it to the end. I was especially excited to see how slim and handsome Mike looked after losing all that weight. What a cutie!

The Amazing Race is Over, and the Winners are...

I knew my team could do it! Tammy and Victor are the winners of this season's Amazing Race. It was a close race to the finish. I really thought Luke was going to finish the Surf Board Road Block first, but he got stuck on the last 2 boards and just couldn't get them. Victor passed him up and he and Tammy made it to the finish line first.

It was a good race and an exciting finish. I'm sorry to see it end, but I look forward to next new and exciting season.

Amazing Race on Sunday - Who will make it to the Final 3?

The Amazing Race is getting close to the end, and I think this Sunday they will be down to the final 3.

Last Sunday the 4 remaining teams got a shock when they got to the Pit Stop only to find out that this leg of the race wasn't over. They had to continue racing.

The 2 Cheerleader red heads were so happy to finally come in first, then they were crushed by Phil when he told them that they had to keep racing. The look on their faces was priceless. They thought they were first, and would probably win a prize, but no, they had to keep racing. I'm sure they were pissed. We'll probably see that in Sunday's episode (I hope).

I love to see them get angry and upset at the people in the various countries for not speaking English. Well, duh, they're not in the U.S. Of course people in other countries are not all going to speak English. And it's very narcissistic to think that everyone should speak English. But then again, they are cheerleaders, and they probably are a little vain.

Tune in tomorrow night to see who will make it to the final 3.

Survivor: Tocantins - Tyson voted out... oh yeah!

I'm a bit late with this Survivor review/update, but I don't care. I'm so happy that Tyson got voted out, that was such a great blindside. The look on everyone's face was priceless, especially Tyson's and Sierra's. She totally thought she was going home, but instead it was Tyson. It would have been better if it was Coach that got the boot, but oh well, his day will come. Tyson's a stronger player anyway. Plus he was getting to be just as bad as Coach, if not worse. They were both treating Sierra so badly it was awful.

Coach can't win any competitions, it's sooooo funny. And you know he really wanted to go on this last reward because the survivors got to learn some martial arts moves/dance. Coach would have loved that, since he's probably a martial arts expert, or he'll claim he's a martial arts expert. He probably thinks he's an expert at everything, since he's been all over the world, and almost got killed like 9 or 10 times. He's so full of sh*t I can't wait for him to go, hopefully next week.

How is According to Jim still on the air??? I'm looking at the TV Guide, and there are new episodes airing tonight. WTF? This has got to be one of the worst shows on television, and yet ABC is still airing new episodes. And it's on ABC, not some cable channel that doesn't have anything else to run.

Please ABC, get rid of According to Jim, and make room for more quality sitcoms. There has to be some show that's waiting for a chance to be seen. Let's give them their chance by replacing a crappy show with something that might end up being a huge hit.

Survivor: Tocantins - Who was voted out?

I can't believe last night's Survivor. I was sooooo hoping they would vote out Coach. They had a perfect chance to do it, but instead they voted out Brandon. I guess Brandon is the bigger threat anyway. Coach isn't that strong at the challenges. But after hearing that story about how he almost died. What a joke! I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He's so into himself and getting attention that he'll talk about anything just to be heard.

The funniest thing I heard last night was all Coach's talk about him being the Dragon Slayer, and Brandon being the dragon he will slay. But the worst thing he said was that if Brandon is the dragon, then Sierra is what comes out of the end of the dragon. He basically called her a piece of sh*t. What a jerk! We all know you don't like her, but don't call her a piece of sh*t using some stupid dragon slayer metaphor.

I hope these survivors get there heads out of the sand long enough to see how Coach really is, and vote his a** out ASAP!

Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles Season Finale

I just watched the season finale of Terminator, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and it was awesome. I heard the show might not come back next year, if that's true, that would totally suck. I really want to see what's going to happen next.

John was sent to the future where Reese (his dad) and Kyle (his uncle) are there, with Cameron, I think that's the human Cameron, not the cyborg, and they haven't even heard of John Connor. What the heck is going on? I can't wait to find out!!!

Chuck - Orion is Revealed...

One of my favorite shows, Chuck, revealed tonight the identity of Orion... It is Chuck's estranged father. He finally returns, supposedly to see his daughter get married, but in reality he is there to help Chuck get the intersect out of Chuck's head. Chuck's father, Orion, invented the intersect, and is supposedly the only one who knows how to remove the intersect from Chuck's brain.

Scott Bakula guest stars as Chuck's father, and Chevy Chase plays Orion's former partner who stole all his ideas. Chevy Chase doesn't play a convincing bad guy, but Scott Bakula was pretty good as Chuck's father.
